About the Opportunity
The Trading Systems team builds the mission-critical order, execution, position, and risk infrastructure that powers OKX’s global trading platform. We operate at the intersection of high performance, correctness, resilience, and scale—where every design decision matters.
We are seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our trading counter and core trading systems. This role is for an engineer who combines deep systems expertise with strong ownership: someone who investigates root causes, raises the quality bar across the engineering lifecycle, and turns individual learning into reusable team capability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, high-performance C++ trading systems.
Design reliable distributed systems, including consistency, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies across system boundaries.
Own work end to end—from technical proposals and design reviews through framework refactoring, implementation, deployment, production debugging, replay, and validation.
Solve low-level systems challenges involving networking, protocols, concurrency, memory management, performance, and operating-system-level behaviour.
Drive architectural improvements by identifying systemic issues and anti-patterns, such as overly coupled or “God Class” designs, and redesigning components with clear responsibilities.
Build proactive quality safeguards, including automated testing, failure-injection scenarios, stability validation, monitoring, and replay-based verification.
Design controlled experiments to validate architectural assumptions and diagnose complex production issues beyond surface-level symptoms.
Work effectively across heterogeneous technology stacks, making sound engineering decisions at language, service, and platform boundaries.
Independently explore and apply AI-assisted engineering practices across code understanding, solution design, cross-review, incident analysis, test validation, and knowledge capture.
Raise engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvements to development practices.
Mentor engineers and share practical knowledge through documentation, playbooks, technical sessions, and reusable frameworks.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with substantial experience building production C++ systems.
Strong experience designing and evolving complex systems, with a clear understanding of architectural trade-offs.
Proven knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, network programming, and performance optimisation in Linux-based environments.
Hands-on experience with distributed consistency, high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, or other system-level reliability designs.
Strong understanding of computer systems fundamentals, including networking protocols, operating systems, memory, storage, and runtime behaviour.
A track record of taking ownership proactively, from defining the problem to delivering and validating a robust solution.
Exceptional debugging and analytical ability, with a habit of investigating why issues occur—not simply applying short-term fixes.
Experience using automated tests, simulation, replay, or comparative experiments to validate system behaviour and reliability.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset; able to turn experience into documentation, standards, and practices that help the whole team.
Nice to Haves
Experience with exchange, brokerage, trading counter, order management, execution, market data, or other low-latency financial systems.

We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Scale dense and mixture-of-experts inference across multiple GPU nodes. Select and tune tensor, pipeline, data, and expert parallelism—including wide expert parallelism (WideEP)—with attention to hardware topology, expert load balance, and communication overhead.
Build reproducible benchmark harnesses measuring TTFT, TPOT, tokens per second per GPU, p95/p99 latency, GPU memory, reliability, and cost per token. Validate architecture choices under representative traffic and consistent GPU budgets.
Collaborate with GPU kernel and platform engineers to trace bottlenecks across model code, kernels, runtime, scheduler, gateway, and cluster layers.
Produce design documents, performance reports, rollout plans, and customer-facing technical explanations.
Must-haves
Strong engineering skills in Python and PyTorch.
Hands-on experience deploying or optimizing LLM, VLM, or high-throughput transformer inference.
Practical knowledge of at least one modern inference stack, such as vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, Triton Inference Server, NVIDIA Dynamo, Ray Serve, KServe, or an equivalent internal system.
A strong understanding of transformer inference bottlenecks involving KV cache, attention, memory bandwidth, batching, parallelism, and long-context serving.
Ability to quantify trade-offs among latency, throughput, quality, utilization, and cost.
Experience designing or optimizing distributed inference system architecture, with hands-on work in one or more areas such as request routing, distributed scheduling, PDD, multi-node inference, or expert parallelism.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across research, kernel, infrastructure, product, and customer teams.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with quantization-aware training, post-training quantization, FP8, INT8, INT4, NVFP4, MXFP4, AWQ, GPTQ, or SmoothQuant.
Experience with distillation, speculative decoding, EAGLE, Medusa, multi-token prediction, or related inference acceleration methods.
Experience supporting agentic workloads involving tool calling, structured outputs, streaming APIs, high concurrency, and multi-step orchestration.
Familiarity with CUDA or Triton; the role does not require kernel engineering to be the candidate’s primary specialization.
Contributions to open-source projects such as vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, FlashInfer, LMCache, PyTorch, Triton, Ray, or KServe.
Implementation experience with cache-aware request routing, PDD, or WideEP, including diagnosing communication bottlenecks and load imbalance.

Olo is a leading SaaS platform accelerating digital transformation in the restaurant industry, by helping customers deliver more personalised and profitable guest experiences. As a result, our digital ordering, payment, loyalty and guest engagement solutions enable brands to do more with less and make every guest feel like a regular.
While our roots are in NYC, we’re intentionally investing in Belfast and Northern Ireland as a key hub, with an established leadership presence, a local team, and community for the long term. This role is fully remote, offering you flexibility to work from anywhere within NI.
Your new role
In this role, you’ll join as a Software Engineer on the ‘BrandX’ team, which is part of the wider ‘Order Engineering’ group.
BrandX (Brand Experience) builds the tools restaurant brands and Olo's internal teams use to run their business on Olo. We own the Dashboard that brand operators log into every day, the internal Admin application, and the billing and invoicing systems that turn platform usage into invoices. We also own how brands sign in and manage their users, including SSO and two-factor authentication, and we are building Olo AI Assist, a natural-language assistant inside the Dashboard.
The team is seven engineers spread across the US and Europe, and you'd be our first hire in Northern Ireland. Because the team sits between brands, Finance, and the rest of Order Engineering, the work is varied. One week you might be shipping a new Dashboard settings page, the next you're tracing a billing discrepancy across our finance integrations or teaching Olo AI Assist a new skill so a brand can update hours across hundreds of stores just by asking. You'll pair with senior engineers, review and ship code most days, and use Claude Code as a normal part of how you work.
How you’ll make an impact
Learn the BrandX domain and technology stack, and get to know the brands, Finance partners, and Order Engineering teams we work with.
Own small-to-medium features end to end, from understanding the requirement to shipping it, with senior engineers available when you need them.
Write code that meets our standards, and participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer.
Build reliable and maintainable software, with test coverage that matches the risk of the change.
Contribute to the team’s delivery pipeline, including test coverage, CI, and deployment practices.
Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot as your default way of building, and help the team push what these tools can do.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, learning how our systems fit together along the way.
Participate in team ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives, sharing updates and feedback.
Take part in learning activities, including game days and training sessions, to build familiarity with Olo’s tools and processes.
Join the on-call rotation, with responsibilities that grow as you learn the team’s systems.
What will set you up for success
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience, or a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
Working knowledge of C# and .NET, and comfort reading code you didn't write.
Some experience building web UIs. We use React and TypeScript, but any modern framework is a fine starting point.
Comfortable with SQL and relational data. A lot of our work is understanding how data moves between systems.
You understand the difference between unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and when each one earns its place.
AI coding agents are your default way of working. You use tools like Claude Code daily, you can explain the fundamentals underneath what they generate, and you're excited about a team that expects you to push them further.
You ask questions early, write things down, and are comfortable working with colleagues in other time zones.

adjoe is redefining the future of mobile ads. Powered by advanced AI, first-party data and world-class engineers, we’ve perfected the offerwall experience for monetizing and scaling app publishers with solutions like Playtime and Arcade – now the fastest growing rewarded advertising channel globally – driving incremental engagement, retention, and revenue.
At the same time, we’re breaking into programmatic advertising with the intelligent bidding system of adjoe Ads. Together, this ecosystem connects app developers to over 600 million users worldwide for scalable growth. Backed by a $100 million investment from Bertelsmann and operating from offices in Hamburg, Boston, Singapore, and Tokyo, adjoe is defining the next stages of app and ad experience – right now. Join us.
YOUR MISSION & WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Proven track record owning a regional event program end to end. You come from a senior event/field marketing background within tech, B2B SaaS, AdTech, or a fast-paced agency environment. You have owned a full regional program, including roadmap, budget, and outcomes, rather than executing against someone else's plan. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, US, you will build the US event strategy together with leadership and lead its hands-on execution, ensuring events drive business growth and strengthen adjoe's brand positioning in the market.
- Events are a pipeline engine, and you own that outcome. This role is pivotal in driving meaningful pipeline across both of adjoe's lines of business: supply, where app publishers monetize and scale with Playtime and Arcade, and demand, where advertisers grow with adjoe Ads. You align regularly with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership to ensure events ladder up to strategic priorities, and you track performance and follow up with internal teams so that pipeline and lead goals are genuinely owned and delivered rather than assumed.
- You lead execution across a range of event types and audiences. You build and evolve the US event roadmap in close collaboration with leadership, choosing the right formats, audiences, and channels to drive measurable results. That spans industry trade shows and conferences where adjoe needs presence and share of voice, owned events that put our brand and perspective at the center, and executive hospitality events built to move specific accounts and relationships forward. You ensure flawless execution across all of them, from logistics and branding to experience design and post-event impact reporting, and you are as comfortable running the floor plan as you are presenting the roadmap to leadership.
- You negotiate and build partnerships with confidence. You serve as the primary point of contact for key conference and co-marketing partnerships, managing negotiations, sponsorship agreements, and long-term opportunities as the owner of those relationships. You manage and optimize the US events budget, making high-impact decisions on where and how to invest for maximum ROI. Externally, you act as a senior voice for the brand, building lasting relationships with conference organizers, local networks, and industry peers that compound in value year over year.
- You are metrics-driven and turn data into action. You set success criteria before an event and track ROI across the full lifecycle, evaluating performance rather than activity. You use what the numbers tell you to reallocate spend, retire formats that don't return, and independently optimize processes and results without waiting to be asked.
- You think in systems. You build scalable processes, playbooks, templates, and workflows that improve event quality, efficiency, and attendee experience across teams and regions. You manage complex projects and relationships calmly when timelines are tight or priorities shift, you communicate strategy and expectations clearly across functions, and you lead with ownership and clarity, making things happen and keeping stakeholders informed as you go.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
At adjoe, we’re designing the organization behind one of the fastest-growing adtech platforms in mobile. The initiatives you build, the talent you develop, and the culture you shape will directly influence how adjoe scales globally.
- Go Big. Own programs that have real impact on how 250+ people across 7 offices join, grow, and perform.
- Move Fast. Operate in a high-velocity environment where you design, test, and iterate on people programs with the same mindset as a product team.
- Be Direct. Work in a culture where feedback is honest, collaboration is real, and your ideas get heard.
- Thrive Together. Grow alongside a diverse, global team of 250+ people from over 40 countries — and help make that experience better for everyone.
- Have Fun. Build meaningful programs, celebrate the people behind the product, and bring your energy to a team that genuinely enjoys what they do.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.
Singapore; You'll operate with significant autonomy while maintaining strong alignment with global teams, requiring someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and can work effectively across time zones; Experience working in and building a growing region, while navigating across time zones with US-based headquarters
leadSingapore; Due to the timezone differences, you will serve as the primary regional networking authority, bridging global network architecture defined with our EU/EMEA/the US engineering headquarters and regional execution across APAC colocation sites, cable landings, and data centers
