HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐ THE ENGINEERING TEAM ⭐
In our engineering team, we build the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide first-class service to our members, health professionals, and even ourselves!
Being an engineer at Alan means joining a team of talented, committed and passionate engineers, with a lot of interactions.
We move fast, with a lot of ownership, and are proud to tackle big problems!
Our process is very simple: those who make product decisions are the same ones who build them.
We are also the stewards of our members' most sensitive data, and building privacy in by design is core engineering work for us, not an afterthought.

🛠️ THE STACK
Python/Flask, Typescript, React, React Native on the coding side. AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Terraform/Terramate, Datadog, Cloudflare, GitHub Actions on the platform side, all in a monorepo. We deploy daily and believe in distributed ownership - you build it, you own it.
🤖 THE DATA FOUNDATIONS CREW - WITHIN THE TECH FOUNDATIONS AREA
🎯 MISSION
- Tech Foundations - enables product crews and creates the environment to thrive, combining world-class infrastructure, intuitive developer experience, exquisite operational excellence, and built-in security to make shipping exceptional products effortless.
- Data Foundations - is one of its crews. Its mission: be the enabling and platform team for data lifecycle and privacy engineering across Alan: retention, deletion, anonymization, and pseudonymization, by design. It builds and runs the GDPR Orchestrator (the platform's current embodiment) and equips each area to own its own data rules on top of it. The team also handles data shared with third parties and partners, with Legal and Security on requirements, including authority-facing work (e.g. CNIL).
🔭 SCOPE
1. Own and evolve the privacy platform (build & run): its core engine, its safety mechanisms (preview/dry-run, audit trail), and its operational health (deploys, on-call, observability). You design the contract areas build on and keep it reliable as adoption grows.
2. Build the paved road (enable, teach to fish): docs, templates, and self-serve tooling so any of our 15+ areas can plug into the platform and manage its own data rules and dependencies. You coach areas through pairing and syncs; you build the capability rather than doing the work for them.
3. Coordinate across areas (the cross-area bridge): align legal, security, data, and the data-producing areas on requirements, surface cross-area data dependencies, and resolve design trade-offs between them. You own the coordination; each area stays accountable for its own data and rules.
4. Push the foundations forward: drive open platform design questions to a conclusion and grow the platform's capabilities as Alan's data, products, and footprint expand.
👀 FOCUS FOR 2026
- Own the platform: become the long-term owner of the GDPR Orchestrator and shape the roadmap for how Alan manages data lifecycle at scale.
- Raise the bar on the platform: invest in its safety, observability, and developer experience so areas build on it with confidence.
- Lay the paved road: ship the docs, templates, and tooling that let areas self-serve, then move ownership of data rules to the areas that produce the data.
- Scale the surface: grow the platform's reach across data stores and third-party systems as Alan expands into new countries.
⭐ IS IT YOU WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
- Senior-level experience (typically 8+ years) in backend or platform software engineering, or equivalent, with deep production ownership (API and contract design, data modeling, running what you ship).
- You've built and operated platforms, libraries, or services that other engineers depend on, and you care about the contract you expose to them.
- You're comfortable operating across many teams and influencing without authoritarianism: getting legal, security, data, and product crews who don't report to you aligned on a plan, and driving it to completion.
- You bring pragmatism under constraint: you ship sound, safe solutions and improve them over time, rather than waiting for perfect.
- Strong plus: prior privacy, GDPR, or data-governance exposure, and experience working in an enabling or platform-team operating model.
- Explicitly not required: deep legal expertise. Legal and security partner with this role; they don't get replaced by it.
MINDSET WE VALUE
- You treat platform engineering as product work: engineers and members are your customers, and doing the right thing with their data should feel effortless.
- You're hands-on: writing code is the bulk of the job (Python, TypeScript). You ship what you write to production yourself, then operate it: rollouts, alerting, on-call, incident response.
- You design and communicate: you're as comfortable writing a framing doc, drawing a dependency map, and aligning several areas on a design decision as you are writing the code.
- You're an enabler: you measure your impact by how fast areas run their own data rules without ever consulting you. The harder you've worked, the less they have to engage you.
- You build reusable patterns: guardrails, libraries, and safe-by-default abstractions that keep data handling correct and safe by design at scale.
- You're fluent in English (French is not required).
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire above the E level range https://medium.com/alan/a-new-iteration-of-our-engineering-career-path-at-alan-f46f7b229b2d.
But above all, we are looking for high potential and curiosity: make sure to show us this when you apply! Everything else is a bonus.
🌍 HOW WE WORK
- Location: You must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.
- Remote work: We offer remote work flexibility, but we value in-person collaboration.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist.

⭐️ THE DATA FOUNDATIONS TEAM ⭐
At Alan, every decision we make about our members' care, contracts and claims is a data decision. The Data Foundations team builds the platform that makes those decisions possible in a safe way.
- Being part of the Data Foundations team means you’ll build, maintain, and improve the Data Platform used by everyone at Alan.
- We enable Alan’s data-driven nature and help our colleagues make the most of their data.
- Partner closely with people across Alan (technical and non-technical) to understand their needs and build data solutions they can trust and use effectively.
- We own and manage all data-related tools that power Alan.
- AI is changing the way companies work with data: agents are becoming first-class users of our data warehouse. It opens a world of new usage and exciting features, as well as concerns around security, data quality and governance. We are building the foundations that allow Alan to make the most of this exciting new paradigm.
- Alan is expanding quickly: we went from 4 to 6 countries this year and we won’t stop there. Our objective is to onboard new countries in weeks, not months. Having strong data foundations is a cornerstone of that expansion, allowing our teams to make sense of a patchwork of insurance systems, regulations and reporting rules.
- Examples of our missions:
- improve the developer experience when building and maintaining data pipelines,
- enable reliable and secure access to our data warehouse for Alaners and AI agents,
- strengthen security and governance around our data assets,
- define and implement standard data practices across Alan,
- maintain and evolve our core data infrastructure to accommodate Alan's international expansion and growing product breadth…
- Our core tools include Python, Airflow, Snowflake, AWS/GCP, Metabase, Terraform, dbt, and others.
- Who you'll work with: Data Foundations is a small, high-leverage team inside the Tech Foundations area, whose mission is to enable product crews through world-class infrastructure, developer experience, operational excellence, and built-in security. You'd be joining as one of its core engineers, working daily with the whole Data community at Alan.
🎯 EXPECTED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
You would thrive at Alan if most of this sounds like you:
- Passionate about owning ambitious problems and developing simple solutions for them.
- 3+ years of experience demonstrating impact in Data positions. We welcome candidates from early-career to highly experienced profiles. You may already have strong expertise in Data Engineering, or be an experienced data or software engineer looking to deepen your specialization in this area.
- Experience building and operating production data infrastructure: orchestration (Airflow or similar), a cloud data warehouse, infrastructure as code.
- Experience designing systems, tools or libraries used by other engineers, scientists or analysts.
- Proficient in Python and SQL. Setting a high standard of rigor and precision for yourself, interested in your craft.
- Curious about AI and eager to use it thoughtfully to increase your impact.
- Great listening and communication skills.
- Humble, kind, collaborative, and still willing to grow (no matter your seniority!).
- Fluent and clear in English, both oral and written (no need to speak French!).
For this role, we are looking to hire within the C0-E level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.

Skill in coordinating programs across multiple engineering teams or departments, aligning stakeholders on goals, timelines, and milestones.
Strong written communication skills for asynchronous, documentation-first collaboration in a fully remote environment.
Ability to work independently in a distributed setting, set priorities, and make progress with minimal supervision.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying blockers, and proposing practical solutions to keep programs moving.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or platforms like GitLab, with interest in deepening this knowledge over time.
Openness to learning, iterating based on feedback, and applying transferable skills from varied backgrounds to technical program management.
About the team
You’ll join the R&D organization as part of the Technical Program Management function, a small, cross-functional team that leads high-impact programs spanning multiple product stages and departments. The team focuses on driving clarity, alignment, and predictable delivery for complex initiatives that touch many parts of GitLab, using a handbook-first, asynchronous way of working with stakeholders across regions and time zones. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering leaders and partners in other functions to improve how programs are planned, executed, and communicated, helping evolve shared practices, templates, and tooling for program governance across R&D.

What We Look For In You
5+ years of product or operations strategy experience in the risk management area, familiar with risk decision engines, modeling services, and risk analytics tooling.

About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own institutional partner products such as Custody, Brokerage, and Fees & Incentive Programs (including MM/MT structures, VIP tiering, and rebate frameworks). Final scope will weigh your background, but the mandate is consistent: build institutional-grade products that compete on infrastructure, economic design, and reliability — and translate that into measurable growth in client adoption, trading volume, and revenue. You will partner with engineering, operations, sales, compliance, and external service providers to ship complex changes that institutional counterparties trust and rely on.
What You’ll Be Doing
Clearly define product direction and roadmaps for Custody OES, drive its evolution and turn client and partner requirements into shipped features. Grow the client and partner base. Optimize operations through self-service portals and process automation.
Own the fee schedule and incentive programs (MM/MT, VIP tiers, rebates), balancing market dynamics, competitor moves, and institutional needs against company strategy, revenue, and competitive position. Build and continuously evolve AI agents for competitor intel, liquidity analysis, fee and rebate simulation, and program operations.
Own the commercial logic of your product lines. Build ROI-grounded business cases for product and partnership investments; quantify revenue and AUM impact to drive prioritisation;
Articulate strategy, progress, and trade-offs to internal leadership and external institutional clients.
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, and legal to ship complex changes. Navigate multi-jurisdictional regulatory constraints (HK, SG, EU, US) and balance trade-offs between speed, scalability, and compliance.
What We Look For In You
PM experience at a crypto exchange on Custody OES, or at a custody, or background from traditional finance on Collateral / Tri-party / CCP solutions. Deep market knowledge and an end-to-end grasp of how counterparties, custody, execution, and settlement connect.
Solid understanding of liquidity dynamics and how institutional crypto markets actually work. Prior hands-on experience managing fee schedules or designing incentive programs (MM/MT, VIP tiers, rebates) is a strong plus.
Proven experience of leading strategic business reviews, facilitating on-site requirement discovery, and converting client feedback into prioritized product initiatives. Strong track record of partnering with Sales, BD, and Relationship Management teams in a B2B institutional setting.
Proven ability to bring structure and clarity to complex problems, align senior stakeholders across functions, and drive decisions and execution. Able to communicate complex strategies and trade-offs with clarity and influence, producing high-quality strategy documents, product plans, roadmaps, and executive-level presentations. Demonstrated effectiveness leading and influencing globally distributed teams across time zones and diverse cultural contexts.
Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools for market research and product operations. Building automated workflows, using AI for data analysis, or prototyping AI-powered features.
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Product Director (P7-1). Experience building a zero-to-one product is a strong plus.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead global finance operations. Accounting and reporting, month end close, financial controls, regulatory reporting, local audit, and regulatory reporting all sit under you. You'll lead a team of 30+ professionals across 15 countries and be accountable for the quality, timeliness, and defensibility of everything that comes out of it.
Partner with the regional C-suite on what's next. Business strategy, exchange listings, infrastructure investment, and M&A — you'll be in the room, and you'll be the one putting numbers behind the options. Capital planning and investor relations sit with you, as do external partnerships that carry a financial dimension.
Price the decisions before they're made. New products, new markets, new licenses. Each one gets a financial evaluation from your team — unit economics, capital requirements, tax and regulatory cost, downside cases. Leadership should be able to trust that analysis without re-running it.
Tighten controls and risk frameworks across crypto and fiat. This is the part most finance leaders haven't done before. Internal controls, SOX readiness, audit, and global regulatory obligations have to work across digital-asset custody and movement as well as conventional banking flows. You'll build the frameworks that hold up in both worlds.
Own external relationships. Regulators, banking partners, payment providers. These relationships determine what the business can and can't do in a given market, and they need a senior finance voice who regulators and bank credit committees take seriously.
Standardize the plumbing. Global finance policies, a single reporting architecture, consistent close and consolidation processes.
Sit on leadership committees at both the global and local entity level, including boards and governance bodies where a licensed entity requires it.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional financial regulations and cryptocurrency market developments.
What We Look For In You
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Deep technical foundation in IFRS and US GAAP. CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent certifcation
15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or financial services company.
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset accounting.
Expertise in financial regulations of various global jurisdictions (e.g., NYDFS, MAS, VARA, MiCA, FCA).
Proven experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and automation tools.
Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience managing multi-currency operations and intercompany transactions.
Ability to lead and develop teams in multiple jurisdictions and work across different time zones.
Nice to Have Have
MBA or equivalent
Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange!
Passionate about blockchain technology and the crypto space

Your Purpose
At Bitso, the Software Engineer on the Nexus Squad owns the reliability, scalability, and evolution of our mission-critical pay-in and pay-out systems, the financial backbone that moves billions of dollars worldwide.
You will design and deliver event-driven, high-throughput solutions that ensure every pay-in and pay-out is fast, accurate, and resilient.
Working closely with product, infrastructure, and compliance stakeholders, you will shape the technical direction of a domain where the bar for quality is exceptionally high, resilience is built through continuous learning, and every millisecond of performance matters — for the millions of retail users and the businesses that rely on Bitso to power their financial operations.
Reports To
This role reports to the Nexus Engineering Manager.
Who You Are
You are experienced in Java backend development, with a proven track record of shipping production systems at scale.
You are familiar with event-driven architecture patterns (event sourcing, CQRS, sagas) and have hands-on experience operating Apache Kafka in high-throughput, real-money environments.
You have designed and implemented distributed, fault-tolerant microservices that handle financial or similarly critical transactional data.
You have solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
You are comfortable with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
You communicate complex technical concepts clearly in English, written and spoken, to engineering peers, product managers, and senior leadership.
You work with a high degree of autonomy and ownership — you identify problems, propose solutions, and see them through to production.
You are familiar with AI-assisted development flow and tools (Cursor, Claude, CodeRabbit).
You have a strong sense of urgency and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes fintech environment.
Financial Domain (nice to have):
Familiarity with payment rails, reconciliation or idempotent transaction processing in financial systems is a strong plus.
What You Will Do
Own pay-in and pay-out systems: design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that processes financial transactions and moves billions of dollars worldwide.
Architect event-driven solutions: design Kafka-based pipelines and workflows that guarantee correctness, ordering, and resilience at scale.
Drive technical decisions: lead architecture discussions, define and use patterns, and set standards for the pay-in and pay-out domain in collaboration with the Nexus team.
Deliver high-quality code: write clean, well-tested, high-performance Java code and champion engineering best practices through code reviews.
Embrace AI-assisted development: leverage tools like Cursor, Claude, and CodeRabbit as part of your everyday workflow, contribute to skills and guardrails development, and apply Spec-Driven Development (SDD) practices to ensure solutions are well-defined, reviewable, and aligned before implementation begins.
Ensure system reliability: proactively monitor, debug, and resolve production incidents with a focus on root-cause analysis and lasting fixes.
Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with Product, Compliance, and Finance stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into sound technical solutions.
Mentor and uplift: share knowledge with fellow engineers, contribute to internal tech talks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the squad.
Improve observability: instrument services with comprehensive metrics, logs, and traces to enable rapid diagnosis and confident deployments.

Your Purpose

You'll own programs end-to-end: from building the strategy and managing vendor relationships to tracking budgets, analyzing results, and iterating fast. Events are an important part of the mix, but so are ABM plays, content-driven lead gen, partner marketing, and everything in between.
We need someone who doesn't wait for instructions. You see a gap, you fill it. You use AI tools daily to multiply your output. You're as comfortable building a campaign report in HubSpot as you are negotiating a venue contract or writing a landing page brief. Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We admire the importance of innovative social media strategies and are committed to connecting talented individuals with great companies that need their unique skills. Our mission is to provide great jobs to gifted people, regardless of location.
About the Client
Our client is a multi-brand e-commerce and digital marketing business focused on growing brands through channels such as TikTok Shop, creators and affiliates, Meta Ads, Shopify, Amazon, and organic social. The company operates in a fast-moving environment where multiple brands, campaigns, and marketing functions need to stay aligned. This role is focused on bringing structure, accountability, and operational efficiency to that growth environment.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Project Manager to bring structure, organization, and accountability to projects across our marketing and creative teams. Operating across multiple brands, departments, and marketing channels, we need someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and moving pieces simultaneously.
The ideal candidate has a background managing marketing projects for
U.S.-based DTC marketing agencies or in-house DTC brands
. They should have experience overseeing complex, multi-channel initiatives with a minimum of
$1 million in monthly marketing or advertising budgets
across the projects they manage.
Projects should include experience across key DTC channels and platforms such as
Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify
, with a strong understanding of how these channels, teams, and campaigns work together.
This person will ensure projects stay aligned and on track by establishing clear deliverables, ownership, timelines, and priorities. They will help the team maintain visibility, follow through on commitments, and identify potential blockers before they become problems.
We are not looking for a generic corporate Project Manager.
We want someone who has been close to marketing, creative, DTC, creators, paid media, e-commerce, or agency work and understands the pace and complexity of this environment. Experience simply managing tickets, scheduling meetings, or updating project boards is not enough. The ideal candidate has worked somewhere with multiple brands, campaigns, departments, and deadlines moving at the same time—and knows how to bring order to that environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects across multiple brands and departments
* Create clear timelines, deliverables, owners, priorities, and deadlines
* Keep projects and team members aligned, accountable, and on track
* Follow up on outstanding tasks and make sure important work gets completed
* Identify blockers, missed handoffs, and potential delays before they become problems
* Keep leadership updated on project status, priorities, and risks
* Improve internal processes, workflows, and organization
* Coordinate across marketing, creative, creators, paid media, social, e-commerce, and leadership
* Help ensure launches, campaigns, and important deadlines do not fall through the cracks
AREAS YOU WILL WORK ACROSS:
• TikTok Shop • UGC & creative strategy
• TikTok creators / affiliates • Trybe / creator programs
• Shopify • Organic social / social management
• Meta Ads • Creative production
• Amazon • Product launches & campaigns
* You do not need to personally execute every channel, but you should understand how modern digital marketing and
creative teams operate.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
* Everyone knows what they are responsible for and what matters most
* Priorities and deadlines are clear and visible
* Leadership can quickly understand where projects stand
* Blockers are identified early instead of becoming last-minute emergencies
* Teams communicate and execute effectively across departments
* Processes continuously improve as the company grows
* The organization becomes more structured without becoming slower or overly corporate
Requirements
3+ years of experience managing marketing projects for a U.S.-based DTC marketing agency or in-house DTC brand.
Experience managing complex, multi-channel projects involving a minimum of $1 million in monthly marketing or advertising budgets.
Hands-on experience with projects across Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify.
Comfortable managing multiple projects, stakeholders, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, paid media, creative, and cross-functional workflows.
Extremely organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and strong at follow-up.
Able to establish ownership, maintain accountability, and ensure deliverables are completed on time while maintaining strong working relationships.
Able to identify inefficiencies and help improve systems, processes, and project workflows.

About Xenon7
Where elite tech talent meets world-class opportunities! At Xenon7, we work with leading enterprise clients and innovative startups on high-impact projects across Data, AI, Cloud, and Software Engineering. Our expertise in AI solution architecture and specialized technical talent allows us to partner with enterprise leaders on transformative initiatives, driving innovation and business growth.
Job Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber
Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE)
to sit at the intersection of enterprise AI platforms and executive Finance business functions for our Fortune 100 enterprise client. This role bridges advanced AI platform engineering with direct business impact—translating ambiguous financial challenges into working AI applications, deploying them into regulated client environments, and iterating in tight loops to drive measurable ROI.
Rather than building static models or waiting for formal spec sheets, you will operate as a product-minded technical lead. You will prototype user-facing tools in days, deploy agentic and RAG workflows on top of enterprise data stacks (Databricks Genie), and ensure high adoption across FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, and CFO leadership.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End AI Application Prototyping & Delivery
Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions for Finance business units—from initial discovery with CFO stakeholders to production deployment, user adoption, and ROI measurement.
Rapidly prototype vertical applications using Streamlit, Databricks Apps, FastAPI/Flask, or lightweight React interfaces within 1–2 weeks to gather real user feedback.
Handle "last mile" execution: edge cases, data quirks, business rule exceptions, and user training to turn prototypes into sticky enterprise products.
Agentic Systems & LLM Engineering
Build production-grade vertical AI tools leveraging Databricks Genie (Genie Spaces, semantic models).
Construct robust RAG pipelines incorporating advanced chunking, vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Azure AI Search, Cortex Search), retrieval evaluation, grounding, and citation.
Implement LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex) and apply rigorous prompt engineering with hallucination and accuracy evaluation discipline.
Enterprise Data & Regulated Integration
Deploy applications inside heavily regulated enterprise environments, adhering strictly to RBAC, data residency, audit, and compliance constraints (SOX, GxP).
Connect solutions to governed datasets, semantic models, and core enterprise platforms (SAP, Workday, Coupa, ERP) via secure REST APIs.
Instrument all deployed apps with usage metrics, telemetry, and business outcome tracking from day one.
Strategic Stakeholder Advisory & Pattern Extraction
Work directly with senior Finance leadership (CFO office, FP&A, Controllership) to translate ambiguous operational friction into crisp technical roadmaps.
Extract reusable code components, prompt templates, evaluation harnesses, and retrieval patterns into shared enterprise assets for broader deployment.
Requirements
Experience & Mindset
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on software development and full-stack AI application deployment.
Product-Shaped Builder:
Strong bias for action; comfortable shipping rough prototypes in Week 1 over polished spec documents in Week 4.
Ambiguity Tolerance:
Proven ability to navigate vague business problems without predefined specifications.
Stakeholder Communication:
Outstanding ability to interface directly with senior business leaders without requiring intermediary Business Analysts.
Must-Have Technical Stack
Languages & Frameworks:
Python, FastAPI/Flask, SQL, and UI frameworks (Streamlit, Databricks Apps, React).
AI Platforms:
Direct hands-on experience with
Databricks Genie
.
LLM Engineering:
Production experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, vector search engines, and prompt evaluation harnesses.
Cloud & DevOps:
Deep working knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable), modern Git workflows, CI/CD, and basic MLOps awareness (observability, versioning via LangSmith, Datadog, etc.).
Domain Competency (Finance Focus)
Solid foundational understanding of core Finance business processes (FP&A, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, close cycles) and common financial metrics (OPEX, EBITDA, gross margin, working capital).
Nice-to-Haves & Certifications
Prior FDE, Solutions Engineer, or Field Engineer experience at high-growth AI/Data companies (Palantir, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic).
Industry background in Life Sciences, Pharma, Healthcare, or CPG enterprise Finance.
Experience with enterprise Finance software (SAP S/4HANA, Veeva, Workday Adaptive, Oracle Financials).
Certifications: Databricks Certified, or Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102).
What This Role Is NOT
Not a pure Data Scientist or ML Researcher:
You will not be training or fine-tuning foundation models from scratch; you are applying existing models to business problems.
Not a non-coding Architect:
This is a 100% hands-on builder role.
Not a pure Backend or MLOps Engineer:
You must be comfortable owning the user-facing interface and direct business interaction.
