Location: San Francisco, California Workplace: Hybrid WHO WE ARE Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. ABOUT THE ROLE: Notion is entering a new chapter of People work: more AI-native, more strategic, and more focused on building systems that help every Notino do the best work of their career. We're building toward a four-pronged People Consulting model: - Strategic People Partners who steer orgs as the consultative layer closest to the business. - Talent Management is the systems and programmatic engine layer — talent programs, systems and resourcing work that support our People Partners & talent density. - People Relations is the primary arm and escalation point for employee relations. - People Operations owns the operational layer of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, a layer we're increasingly scaling through agentic services. We are looking for the right person to join our existing Talent Management arm. This person will help define, operationalize, and continuously improve how we grow talent at Notion. This role sits at the intersection of talent philosophy, people partner strategy and enablement. This is not a siloed program role. It is an extension of our strategic People Partner & Talent Management org: someone who brings deep talent management craft, strong business judgment, and the operating muscle to turn philosophy into practice across the company. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE: 1. Maintain and operationalize Notion’s talent philosophies - Codify and evolve our talent philosophies across performance, growth, leadership, career development, internal mobility, early career, and high-performance expectations. - Translate principles into practical tools, rituals, and operating mechanisms that People Partners and leaders can use. - Ensure our philosophies stay connected to business needs, company strategy, and the realities of how work is changing. - Ensure the talent systems we build are durable and make talent expectations clear, consistent, and actionable — without over-programming or adding unnecessary process. 2. Co-build the programmatic layer & talent engine for People Partners - Help steer and co-build the overall talent enablement engine equipping People Partners to drive higher-quality actions with leaders. If People Partners are consultants, our talent management arm builds the resources to enable talent density. - Keep our core philosophies aligned with our deployment-ready materials: playbooks, manager guides, conversation frameworks, decision tools, calibration support, and coaching resources. - Partner closely with strategic People Partner leaders to identify where enablement is needed most and how it should show up in the business. Develop net new, creative strategies aligned with Notion’s values and vision. - Ensure People Partners are not just consuming talent programs, but actively shaping and deploying them with context and judgment. 3. Enable talent density - Bring the taste, craft, and pattern recognition to understand what different talent segments need to grow. - Design self-service strategies & actions that help leaders develop talent - Power up our mechanisms to better identify, engage, stretch, and retain talent. - Enable our leadership bench. 4. Lead fluid, high-leverage talent strategy projects This role will flex into the highest-priority talent questions of the moment. Examples of historical and potential high-impact projects include: - Early career strategy enablement: helping define the scaffolding, manager expectations, growth model, and experience needed to make Notion a definitive launchpad for early-career talent. - Total rewards exploration: partnering with Total Rewards, Talent, and People leaders to explore what recognition could look like in a more AI-native, high-performance environment. - Role architecture for the next generation of work: rethinking how roles, levels, career paths, and talent systems should evolve as AI changes what people can do. - Internal mobility and talent flow: partnering with People Ops, Recruiting and People partners in creating clearer, higher-touch pathways for high-slope talent to find the right next opportunity inside Notion. - Leadership expectations: supporting the translation of Notion’s leadership philosophy into practical enablement for managers and leaders. SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING: - Significant experience designing, scaling, and evolving talent management strategies and programs (e.g. performance, talent reviews, succession planning, career architecture, or related initiatives). - Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional change without formal authority. - Experience translating ambiguous talent philosophies into scalable tools, frameworks, and operating mechanisms. - Strong business acumen and organizational judgment, with the ability to connect talent decisions to company outcomes. - Excitement for reimagining talent management in an AI-native world. Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $230,000 - $270,000 per year. Location: USA - Remote Workplace: Remote 💫 This job description was written by a person ABOUT US Since 2013, we’ve been building a CRM that gets out of your way and helps your team sell more, faster. Now we’re building AI into every part of it, so Close does the busywork and your team does the selling. No manual data entry, no 10-click workflows. Just communication-first, AI-powered sales software designed to help you succeed and scale. We're bootstrapped and profitable which means we answer to our customers and play by our rules. We're proud of our 120-person, 100% remote team, focused on building Close so that no small, scaling business fails because it can't figure out sales. ABOUT THE ROLE One of our values is “Build a house you want to live in.” In this metaphor, Close.com http://Close.com is the front door. Our website is where people learn about who we are, what we do and, even more importantly, it’s a critical touch point on their journey to becoming a Close customer. We’re dedicated to making it best-in-class. We’ve recently migrated from Webflow to our own codebase (Astro, Sanity, Vercel) so a new and improved foundation is in place. We believe building in-house gives us the flexibility, creativity, and speed to make our website a competitive advantage - this is where our first Sr. Frontend Engineer - Marketing comes in. As the technical owner of the website, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and instrumenting Close.com http://Close.com. You’ll work closely with Marketing, including a Marketing Designer, but report up through Engineering. YOU ARE - A marketing website engineer. You’ve built beautiful, conversion-focused websites for a while now - probably 5+ years. You may have worked in an agency, but you’ve also had to build, own, and collaborate on websites long-term - seeing your work through impact and likely many iterations. Motion, ambitious CSS, and rich media are second nature, and you sweat page speed and how the site reads to both search engines and AI agents as much as how cool it looks. A modern stack like Astro paired with a headless CMS (Sanity is ours) is familiar territory to you. - Fluent in measurement. The sites you build aren’t only beautiful, but they’re well-measured too. You understand cookies, conversion events, analytics, and experimentation tooling, and you've worked with tools like Segment, Amplitude, or Customer.io http://Customer.io. - Focused on conversion and fueled by impact. We’re primarily a self-service SMB business and that means that Close.com http://Close.com isn’t just a brand experience. It’s a critical part of our acquisition funnel. This means that your work will have a direct effect on some of our most important business metrics - traffic, conversion, revenue. You’re the type who finds this motivating and is eager to partner with Marketing and Growth to move these numbers. - Energized by empowering non-technical team members. You’ve built systems that allow Marketers or Designers to self-serve and solve problems quickly and independently. You’re comfortable thinking through guardrails, automations, and tooling. - Already building with AI. You use AI to move faster and empower your team but are equally discerning about which moments require craftsmanship and taste. - Resourceful and collaborative. You’ll bridge two teams (Marketing and Engineering) and will need to easily work with folks across departments and levels. No tweak or task is too small (or too big) for you to tackle. YOU WILL - Build and continuously improve a world-class marketing website. We want close.com http://close.com to be responsive, highly interactive, and polished. The kind of site that brings the product to life through animation and interactivity. You'll ship new pages and continue raising the bar on core site functionality. - Make the site fast and findable. You’ll own performance, technical SEO, and how the site shows up to search engines and AI agents. - Manage the infrastructure behind the site. The platform (Sanity), components, integrations, and deployment are for you to maintain and evolve. - Own the technical integrity of site measurement and partner on experiments. Make sure tracking, attribution, conversion events, and funnel data are implemented correctly and reliably flow into our marketing and data systems. - Build tools that let Marketing self-serve...and help the site self-improve. You’ll build automations and flows to help the team ship pages, campaigns, and experiments, but you’ll also help the website be a partner in its own development - be it catching regressions or flagging performance problems and SEO issues. The website of the future is a surface for collaboration between you, the marketing team, and AI agents. - Stretch beyond the site and act as an engineering resource to marketing. The website is your focus, but there’s a lot of work to be done! You’ll be a resource for solving tricky problems, across the website and in other areas of marketing - sometimes that means hopping in yourself, or just knowing when to loop in the right person. BENEFITS - Compensation: Competitive pay plus an organization-wide goal-based bonus - Paid Time Off: ~5 weeks of PTO to start. Plus a 1-week all-company Winter Holiday Break and paid US holidays. You'll earn 2 extra days for every year you're with Close. - 80% Work Option: Work with your manager to choose between a standard 5-day week or a 4-day week at 80% pay - Parental Leave: Paid leave for primary and secondary caregivers - Sabbatical: A 1-month paid sabbatical every 5 years with the team - Healthcare (US residents): Two medical plans with Close covering the majority of your premium, plus Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, and company-paid Long-Term Disability - 401k (US residents): We match your contributions up to 6%, vested immediately OUR VALUES Build a house you want to live in - Examine long-term thinking and action No BS - Practice transparency and honesty, especially when it’s hard Invest in each other - Build successful relationships with your coworkers and customers Discipline equals freedom - Keep your word to yourself and others Strive for greatness - Constantly challenge yourself and others LEARN MORE Listen to our CEO and Founder, Steli Efti, tell the story of Close’s journey in the $0-30m Blueprint https://www.close.com/blueprint. Watch our culture video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maXKi1GN2MI from our 2023 team retreat in Milan. Every year our entire team gathers in person to build connection, foster cross-functional collaboration, and have fun. In 2027, we're headed to Dusseldorf, Germany! Explore our product. Check out a demo https://www.close.com/demo-site! OUR HIRING PROCESS We ask a few role-specific questions as part of our application process. These questions are designed to help us learn more about you from the start, so please answer each one thoughtfully. We see this as an opportunity to get to know you beyond your resume. We use AI tools daily at Close and expect candidates to do the same. In evaluating your application, we aim to get a sense for you - the way you think, how you communicate, the work you've done. Applications that read as fully AI-generated will not be considered. Regardless of fit, you can expect to hear back from our team with an update on the status of your candidacy. If you progress to the interview process, you'll receive a full outline of the role-specific steps in your first touchpoint with us. We do our best to make the hiring process clear and human.

Location: Foster City, CA Workplace: Hybrid Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. ABOUT THE ROLE Replit enables people to build software with AI. The infrastructure underneath that experience must make it straightforward to launch services, isolate workloads, and run reliable systems at scale. We're hiring a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Cloud Infrastructure: the shared infrastructure as code (IaC), networking, storage, compute, and service mesh platforms that Replit's product and platform teams depend on. You'll lead and grow an existing engineering team building and operating these foundations, including Kubernetes, shared edge networking, service mesh and workload identity. This is a platform-building role with production accountability. You should be comfortable going deep on a design or incident while developing a team that does not depend on you for every decision. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the cloud-platform roadmap. Lead the team's IaC, networking, storage, compute, and service mesh platforms. Translate product, platform, reliability, and security needs into sequenced outcomes, balancing foundational investment, lifecycle work, and delivery commitments against the team's capacity. - Make infrastructure repeatable and self-service. Build maintained IaC interfaces for services, cells, connectivity, identities, and shared resources. Enable internal customer teams to provision infrastructure without bespoke coordination or dependence on individual experts. - Operate what the team builds. Own platform availability, upgrades, isolation, recovery, and incident remediation. Maintain clear SLOs, sustainable on-call coverage, and primary and backup owners for critical systems. - Stay technically engaged. Review designs and production changes, debug difficult failure modes, and use AI coding tools—including Replit—to prototype and automate. Apply rigorous review and verification to AI-generated infrastructure changes. - Build and grow a high-ownership engineering team. Coach engineers, develop technical leaders, set clear expectations, manage performance, and hire against agreed needs. Delegate meaningful ownership as the team grows. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - Demonstrated engineering management. You have led and developed engineers, made prioritization and performance decisions, hired thoughtfully, and delivered through a team—not only acted as its strongest individual contributor. - Software-oriented infrastructure depth. You have built and operated cloud platforms or distributed systems and can reason across infrastructure code, Kubernetes, networking, service identity, and stateful dependencies. - Safe-change and production judgment. You have owned consequential migrations and incidents, can explain failure modes and rollback limits, and know when simplifying a system is better than adding another platform. - Platform-product and engineering judgment. You understand internal customers, create interfaces other teams adopt, and make clear tradeoffs among reliability, developer autonomy, engineering effort, and workload efficiency. NICE TO HAVE - Experience with multi-tenant, cellular, regional, or dedicated enterprise infrastructure. - Familiarity with GCP/GKE, Terraform or similar IaC systems, Cloudflare, Envoy/Istio, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and managed data services. - Experience with large-fleet rightsizing, infrastructure consolidation, or migrating CI compute without disrupting developer workflows. - A track record using AI tools to increase engineering output while preserving production safeguards. Full-Time Employee Benefits Include: 💰 Competitive Salary & Equity 💹 401(k) Program with a 4% match (US Only) ⚕️ Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance 🩼 Short Term and Long Term Disability 🚼 Paid Parental, Medical, Caregiver Leave 🏝 Flexible Time Off (FTO) + Holidays 🚗 Commuter Benefits (In-Office & US Only) 📱 Monthly Wellness Stipend 🧑💻 Autonomous Work Environment 🖥 In Office Set-Up Reimbursement (In-Office Only) 🚀 Quarterly Team Gatherings ☕ In Office Amenities (In-Office Only) Want to learn more about what we are up to? - Self-driving Company https://replit.com/blog/self-driving-company - Replit Agent at Scale https://replit.com/blog/evaluating-and-improving-agent-at-scale - AI Adoption https://replit.com/blog/ai-adoption - Build Open-Source Apps https://replit.com/build/open-source-app-builder Interviewing + Culture at Replit - Operating Principles https://blog.replit.com/operating-principles - Reasons not to work at Replit https://blog.replit.com/reasons-not-to-join-replit To achieve our mission of making programming more accessible around the world, we need our team to be representative of the world. We encourage people from all kinds of backgrounds to apply, including and especially candidates from underrepresented and non-traditional backgrounds.

AGENTIC ENGINEERING PLATFORM ENGINEER Developer Productivity · AI Coding Agents · Developer Platform 🎯 Your main goal will be to keep n8n operating as an AI-native engineering organization where agents are embedded across the development cycle; helping teams plan, build, test, review, learn, and improve. You’ll do this by maintaining and evolving the platform foundations, tools, guardrails, and team processes that make agentic development safe, measurable, and sustainable. Working with Developer Platform, Security, AI/Agents, Architecture, and product engineering teams, you’ll help teams continuously adopt what works from frontier AI and make success visible through faster feedback loops, better quality, stronger resilience, and more learning from what we ship: BUILD THE PAVED ROAD FOR AGENTIC DEVELOPMENT - Define safe task categories for autonomous agents, including what they can attempt, what they should never touch, and where additional review is required. - Design and implement isolated execution environments where agents can work without exposing secrets or accessing sensitive systems unnecessarily. - Build pilot workflows that allow selected Linear issues to be picked up by agents, tested, and converted into useful draft PRs. MAKE N8N'S MONOREPO AGENT-READY - Create and maintain repo instructions, agent playbooks, ownership metadata, coding guidelines, and documentation that improve agent performance. - Continuously improve developer workflows, repo structure, testability, and documentation based on where agents succeed, fail, or create reviewer friction. - Partner with Architecture and senior engineers to define boundaries, dependencies, and areas where agents need more context or tighter constraints. INTEGRATE AGENTS INTO ENGINEERING WORKFLOWS - Integrate agentic workflows with Linear, GitHub, CI, test infrastructure, and developer review processes. - Design PR evidence templates that help reviewers understand what changed, why, what tests ran, what risks remain, and where human judgment is needed. - Partner with Security, AI/Agents, Developer Platform, and product engineering teams to define guardrails for sensitive areas like auth, billing, permissions, and data handling. MEASURE QUALITY, SAFETY, AND ADOPTION - Create benchmarks from real historical engineering tasks to evaluate agent output quality, failure modes, test pass rates, review burden, and production risk. - Define quality signals and adoption metrics such as draft PR usefulness rate, reviewer acceptance rate, CI pass rate, rework rate, and developer satisfaction. - Use data and feedback from pilot teams to improve agent workflows, reduce unsafe attempts, and build trust across engineering. REQUIREMENTS MUST-HAVES - 🧠 Autonomous coding agents: You have experience with autonomous coding agents, AI coding platforms, agent orchestration systems, or internal AI developer tooling. - 🤖 Agentic development experience: You have practical experience building, deploying, or operating AI-assisted or agentic software development workflows that work with developers not besides them. - 🛠️ Strong engineering foundations: You have a strong software engineering background, ideally in platform engineering, developer experience, infrastructure, tooling, CI/CD, or engineering productivity. - 🧭 Ambiguity leadership: You’re comfortable leading a first-of-a-kind technical initiative from problem definition through pilot, adoption, measurement, and iteration. - 🔁 Modern engineering workflows: You deeply understand GitHub, CI, testing strategies, code review, monorepos, issue tracking, developer environments, and release risk. - 🔐 Safety-first judgment: You have strong judgment around permissions, secrets, sandboxing, sensitive code paths, and human-in-the-loop review. - 📊 Measurable systems thinking: You know how to design benchmarks, quality signals, failure-mode tracking, and adoption metrics. - ✍️ Clear written communication: You’re strong at writing repo instructions, playbooks, PR evidence templates, technical proposals, and alignment documents. - 🤝 Cross-functional influence: You have credibility with senior engineers and can influence across Platform, Product Engineering, AI, Security, and Architecture without formal authority. NICE-TO-HAVES - 📦 TypeScript monorepos: You have worked in a large TypeScript, Node.js, or JavaScript monorepo. - ⚙️ Developer platforms: You have experience with GitHub Actions, Linear, automated testing infrastructure, preview environments, or internal developer platforms. - 🛡️ Security-aware platform engineering: You have worked on sandboxing, secrets management, least-privilege access, or sensitive code ownership. - 📏 AI evaluation: You have created evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, or quality metrics for AI-generated code or automation systems. - 🌍 Open-source communities: You have experience contributing to open-source or source-available projects with active developer communities. - 🏢 B2B SaaS context: You understand environments where reliability, permissions, data handling, and customer trust are central. - 🔗 Workflow automation: You’re familiar with workflow automation, integration platforms, AI orchestration, or developer-facing products. Why join us? At n8n, you’ll help define how autonomous AI agents become a trusted part of engineering inside one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI-native infrastructure companies. Your work will shape the platform foundations, safety model, evaluation framework, and developer workflows that determine whether agents can contribute meaningfully to production engineering without lowering the quality bar. You’ll join a remote-first team with high autonomy, high visibility, and a strong builder mindset. Because this is a first-of-a-kind role, you’ll have the opportunity to set direction, influence engineering culture, and create learnings that may inform both internal engineering productivity and n8n’s external product thinking. Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on? Apply now — and help us build the future of automation. n8n is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
