We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote position. We are seeking candidates in US and Canada.
The Opportunity:
Application Core Services (AppCore) is a group within Platform, in the Foundations department. Foundations produces the Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) and partners closely with our Cloud, Enterprise, and Grafana teams. Our team develops the essential systems driving Grafana's business operations. We utilize the grafana.com platform to engineer bespoke integrations and solutions that unify the diverse technical ecosystem of a modern software enterprise.
The team owns important domain areas that help keep both our customer workflows and internal business processes running smoothly. AppCore is made up of multiple squads, each focused on one or more of these domains. Our work includes maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculations, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the user portal our customers rely on to manage their accounts.
This is a team working at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. The systems we build are critical to how Grafana Cloud scales. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex workflow and systems problems, improving reliability and developer experience, and building software that directly supports both customers and internal stakeholders.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a unique perspective to the software. Engineers at Grafana Labs also have the opportunity to contribute to Open Source communities and collaborate across teams beyond their immediate scope.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Usage squad owns the essential systems driving Grafana's business operations and customer usage calculations. Our domain encompasses maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculation, cost management and billing applications, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the customer user portal.
Our work sits at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. We build full-stack web applications, customer portals, backend services, APIs, and data integrations across internal Grafana platforms and third-party systems like NetSuite and Salesforce. When this domain works well, customers get clear usage visibility, reliable billing, and seamless account management workflows. This role is about 75% FrontEnd and 25% BackEnd.
Design, build, operate, and evolve reliable full-stack web applications, customer-facing account portals, and backend services that power core customer usage and billing workflows
Build and maintain backend APIs (Golang, Node.js) and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, React)
Design and maintain integrations between Grafana systems and external business platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Develop and automate business logic for customer usage metering, pricing structures, promotions, and billing reconciliation
Collaborate across product management, DealOps, GTM, Support, and adjacent AppCore squads to deliver robust end-to-end features
Address technical debt, optimize CI/CD pipelines, strengthen test coverage, and improve system observability and operational resilience
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while shaping pragmatic solutions for complex systems challenges
Contribute to roadmap planning, technical design, OnCall improvements, and long-term simplification of stack operations
You will help own the production behavior of the systems you build. That includes improving runbooks, dashboards, alerts, reconciliation safety, rollout controls, and recovery procedures. You should be comfortable debugging across service boundaries and making careful changes in systems that affect customer stacks
What Makes You a Great Fit:
At Grafana, we actively embrace AI-assisted and agentic development practices, integrating these technologies into both our engineering workflows and the systems we deliver. We encourage our engineers to thoughtfully leverage AI tools to enhance every stage of the lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, documentation, and operations. We also look for strategic opportunities to embed agentic capabilities within our services to eliminate toil, bolster reliability, and ensure that complex customer workflows remain resilient and safe.
We are seeking a Staff FullStack Engineer who thrives on building production systems where correctness, scalability, and user experience are paramount. As a remote-first organization, you should be comfortable collaborating asynchronously across time zones and taking full ownership of the critical systems powering Grafana Cloud. Our team is small and operates with a high degree of independence; you will be expected to lead major projects, coordinate across service boundaries, and help define the technical direction for our domain.
You will be particularly successful in this role if you enjoy solving challenges related to stateful systems, eventual consistency, and reconciliation loops. We value engineers who can take ambiguous lifecycle requirements and transform them into explicit, modular solutions. You should be adept at breaking down complex systems work into safe, iterative increments while clearly communicating technical tradeoffs to both internal stakeholders and adjacent product teams.
Some things you might be expected to do could include:
Writing efficient, readable, and easy to maintain code
Designing new microservices or systems
Collaborating with teammates and other departments to reach consensus on proposed solutions
Coordinating with product and UX when needed
Responding to customer requests and feedback
When ready, participating in our follow-the-sun OnCall rotation
Participating in team decisions, such as roadmap planning and prioritization
Requirements:
You have at least 1 year of fully remote work experience
You have worked on a big SaaS platform and dealt with common distributed systems problems (e.g. scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, HA, …)
Strong professional experience with backend technologies (Golang, Node.js) as well as modern frontend web development (TypeScript, React)
Care deeply about developer and user experience and the quality of the products that you work on
Have some experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, and brainstorming ideas to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven way
You write clean, robust, well-tested software that other engineers can understand, operate, and maintain
Have experience with mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative but asynchronous environment
Can take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve tight learning loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback, and then progress iteratively
You are willing to work across teams. Your work has to be aligned with the needs of other squads and external stakeholders. You make your plans transparent, bring stakeholders on board, and are open to feedback and suggestions
Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet, etc.)
Bonus Points For:
Experience with high-volume usage metering, billing engines, or customer-facing cost management applications
Experience designing, building, and maintaining integrations with third-party business systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Cloud Marketplaces)
Experience with frontend component libraries, design systems, and modern CSS-in-JS tooling
Familiarity with cloud marketplace integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS provisioning/tenancy patterns
Experience working on SaaS provisioning, tenancy, regional expansion, plugin rollout, or customer lifecycle systems
Experience with incident response involving configuration drift, partial failure, or cross-service state mismatch

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. What The Role Is
Babylist Media sells onsite and offsite advertising to the brands that growing families rely on. This role owns the supply side of that business: our Koddi ad stack, how onsite inventory is structured and served, how it's monetized, and how campaigns are distributed offsite. It's a new role. Until now, this work has been split across several people, and no one has owned it end to end. You'll report to the Director of Revenue Operations. You'll lead offsite media support and our outsourced onsite ad ops partner, and you'll still be hands-on in the ad server yourself.
Who You Are
You have sell-side experience
: you've worked at a publisher or retailer that owns and monetizes its inventory
You've administered an ad server hands-on
: line items, targeting, priorities and delivery rules, recently enough that you can still do it yourself
You understand ad server logic and its tradeoffs
: priority tiers, how competing demand is decided, pacing, frequency and fill. You can explain why a campaign under-delivered
You've owned yield
: eCPM, fill, sell-through and utilization, and you've turned those numbers into inventory and pricing decisions
You've built inventory frameworks
: capacity planning, allocation and prioritization rules, and controls that prevent overselling
You've led people and partners while still doing hands-on work
: you've set priorities for a team or vendor and held them to standards, and you still configure campaigns yourself when a launch needs it
Retail media experience is a big plus
: our inventory sits next to registry and shop purchases, and Koddi is a retail media platform
You have working knowledge of the broader stack: DSPs, SSPs, programmatic, identity and measurement
Experience moving a direct-sold, flat-fee business toward CPM or programmatic selling is a plus
Familiarity with paid social distribution (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube) sold as a media product is a plus
You can explain a technical tradeoff to Sales, Product and Finance in plain language and get a decision
You're comfortable moving between strategy, vendor management and troubleshooting in the same week. Parts of the stack are still manual, and you'll be defining the playbook, not following one
You naturally reach for AI in your work — at Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next.
How You'll Make an Impact
Assess the current stack in your first 90 days and deliver an ad-tech, inventory and yield roadmap
Own Koddi configuration, serving logic and delivery health across onsite placements: Registry, Feed, Shop and more
Set the inventory rules for capacity, allocation and prioritization, and partner with Revenue Systems so Boostr and Koddi enforce them
Increase eCPM, fill and utilization from the supply we already have
Stand up the outsourced onsite ad ops partner: SLAs, QA standards and escalation paths
Lead offsite distribution strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Babylist Connect
Build incident response so delivery issues are caught before they turn into make-goods
Own the roadmap from flat-fee sponsorships toward CPM-based selling and, over time, self-serve buying
Why This Role
We need a hands-on experienced owner of ad tech, inventory or yield. You'll define the function instead of inheriting someone else's playbook
The business is moving from flat-fee placements toward CPM and self-serve, and you'll own the roadmap that gets it there
You'll set the strategy and lead the execution team, and you'll still work in Koddi yourself. It's a player-coach role, not a desk job reviewing other people's work
The inventory is first-party and high-intent: expecting and new parents shopping on registry and in the shop
About Compensation
We use a market-based approach to compensation. The starting salary range for this role is:
$143,963.00
to $
192,062.00
with an annual bonus range of 20% to 25%
Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.

We're committed to career progression and performance-based advancement

WHO WE ARE
Hi, we're DuckDuckGo, the online protection company and remote-first team of 400+ on a mission to raise the standard of trust online. Founded in 2008 and profitable since 2014, our annual revenue is in the hundreds of millions USD and millions use our browser on Mac https://spreadprivacy.com/introducing-duckduckgo-for-mac/, Windows https://spreadprivacy.com/windows-browser-open-beta/, iOS https://spreadprivacy.com/duckduckgo-privacy-browser-ios14/, and Android https://spreadprivacy.com/introducing-app-tracking-protection/, our search engine https://duckduckgo.com/, and the DuckDuckGo subscription https://duckduckgo.com/pro. We also offer private, useful, and optional AI, including Duck.ai https://duck.ai/, which lets you chat privately with ChatGPT, Claude, and other AIs, all in one place.
Our culture https://duckduckgo.com/how-we-work of trust, inclusivity, and empowered project management underpins everything we do, where each team member takes full ownership of their projects, from scoping and execution to postmortem. If you're seeking end-to-end ownership of your work, you've come to the right place!
YOUR TEAM AND ROLE
As a Senior Product Partnerships Manager on the Partnerships team, you’ll lead DuckDuckGo’s most complex Product partnerships and drive strategy — sourcing, negotiating, and scaling high-impact deals with partners that can materially enhance our entire portfolio of products (search, Duck.ai, Privacy Pro subscriptions, etc) and work on related projects. Many of these partnerships will be the first-of-their-kind where you will have to create playbooks from 0-to-1 — you'll be structuring deals where the product, economics, and strategic value need to be figured out together, and you’ll be working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Finance to make them real.
You'll manage a portfolio of competing and complementary partner relationships, forging partnerships with leading organizations while, in the case of AI, navigating the strategic tradeoffs of a market where pricing, capabilities, and competitive dynamics shift quarterly. Your work will directly shape how our products evolve, including Duck.ai and Assist, and reach millions of users.
What Projects Might Look Like
1. Figuring out further partnerships that could enhance our Duck.ai and Search Assist offerings
2. Identifying opportunities for Partnerships to drive product enhancement and user engagement/retention.
3. Creating new distribution channels to help grow our AI related services
ABOUT YOU
- 8+ years of Strategic Partnerships experience.
- Significant experience leading complex product partnerships end-to-end — from identifying the opportunity through deal close and beyond. These should be partnerships where you've created something new together and navigated real product and technical complexity, not sales deals or API licensing.

- Experience with consumer internet or user-facing software business with an understanding of the AI/LLM ecosystem and how AI capabilities are being integrated into consumer products.
- Experience managing a portfolio of complex strategic partner relationships and an understanding of the tradeoffs that come with balancing competing and complementary providers.
- 2+ years of cross-functional leadership on partnership projects and teams, including legal and engineering.
- You build trust quickly with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders you've never worked with before. You're collaborative by default and decisive when it counts.
- Located in US or Canada.

The Role
As our Sr. Marketing Manager, Accessories, you will own go-to-market for new Nex Playground accessories and merchandise.
That includes travel cases, skins, protectors, mounting solutions, extra cables, and Nex merch and apparel.
You'll lead the first phase of every launch: taking new products to market through our direct-to-consumer and e-commerce channels, including Amazon and TikTok Shop. Your job is to prove each product works: real consumer demand, product-market fit, and a healthy margin structure. Once a product is proven, you'll hand it off to our commercial team to scale into retail, with the story and data they need to start early retailer conversations.
This role is ideal for a marketer who loves launching products, reads the numbers closely, and can orchestrate many teams toward one clear outcome.
What You'll Do
Phase 1 Go-to-Market
Own end-to-end launch plans for new accessories and merch, from concept through launch and early sales.
Develop positioning, messaging, and launch assets that make each product easy to understand and want.
Provide input on pricing, bundles, and assortment in partnership with Product and Finance.
Orchestrate launches across our D2C store, Amazon, and TikTok Shop.
Prove Product-Market Fit
Define success metrics before launch, such as demand, conversion, attach rate, ratings and reviews, return rates, and contribution margin.
Design and run tests across pricing, bundles, offers, and creative to learn quickly.
Build clear recommendations to scale, iterate, or sunset each product based on results.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
Partner with our growth and performance marketing experts to plan and optimize paid, social, and marketplace programs.
Work with Creative, Content, and Social teams on assets for PDPs, TikTok, email, and the Nex website.
Coordinate with Product and Operations on launch timing, inventory, and forecasts.
Brief and manage vendors and partners for merch and apparel programs as needed.
Handoff to Scale
Package results, consumer insights, and the sell-in story so our retail management team can begin early retailer conversations.
Transition proven products to the commercial team with a repeatable launch playbook.
Consumer Insight
Bring the voice of the customer into every decision, using reviews, social listening, and community feedback.
Identify gaps and opportunities that shape the future accessories roadmap.
What You'll Bring
Experience
8+ years in product marketing or go-to-market roles for consumer products, ideally in accessories, consumer electronics, gaming, toys, or lifestyle brands.
A proven track record of launching products through D2C and Amazon.
TikTok Shop or social commerce experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with merchandise or apparel programs is a plus.
Skills & Strengths
Strong commercial acumen across unit economics, pricing, margin, and demand forecasting.
Data-driven decision maker who is comfortable with marketplace, e-commerce, and marketing analytics.
Excellent writer and storyteller who can make simple products feel compelling.
Highly organized, with the ability to run several launches at once.
Collaboration & Mindset
A natural orchestrator who aligns people without needing direct authority.
Test-and-learn mindset, with the judgment to move fast and the discipline to measure.
Comfortable in a small, fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
Passion for building products and experiences that families love.
What Success Looks Like
A clear accessories roadmap that has cross-functional alignment of new accessories and merch that compliment our platform & ecosystem strategy
A customer-led insights process that guides and supports key decisions on new products, driven by tangible market and customer research
Business plans and GTM plans that are fully documented and positioned for success with sign-off from the leadership team before new accessories move into production and marketing team action around the plan
Clear messaging, value proposition, and pricing recommendations for new products that support the business plan/thesis
Successful GTM orchestration across multiple internal teams, from the product teams to the marketing communications teams that assemble the creative and deliverables to drive new launches, meet the sales goals, and sustain the business plan
Initial learnings in market with a first launch phase of growth to validate the business contribution of the accessory and establish a growth path before broader commercial business development (retail development, international expansion, etc)

Build reliable integrations with DEX protocols, liquidity sources, blockchain RPC providers, and indexing services.
Define clear order and transaction state models, with robust handling of retries, duplicate requests, partial failures, and recovery.
Ensure trading services remain reliable under high concurrency, traffic spikes, and degraded external dependencies.
Implement appropriate rate limiting, concurrency controls, resource isolation, and graceful degradation.
Optimize database access, transaction boundaries, caching, and asynchronous processing.
Establish monitoring, alerting, load testing, and incident-response practices for critical trading flows.
Support trading workflows across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
Handle transaction submission, confirmation tracking, failed or dropped transactions, and chain reorganizations.
Build data synchronization and reconciliation mechanisms to maintain consistency between backend records and on-chain execution.
Translate product requirements into practical technical designs and production-ready services.
Own features through implementation, testing, rollout, and post-launch operation.

5+ years of professional backend engineering experience, including ownership of production systems.
Strong proficiency in Java and its backend ecosystem.
Solid understanding of concurrency, distributed systems, relational databases, caching, and messaging systems.
E
xperience building high-availability services and diagnosing performance or reliability issues in production.

Ability to independently drive a feature from technical design through production deployment.
