Olo is a leading SaaS platform accelerating digital transformation in the restaurant industry, by helping customers deliver more personalised and profitable guest experiences. As a result, our digital ordering, payment, loyalty and guest engagement solutions enable brands to do more with less and make every guest feel like a regular.
While our roots are in NYC, we’re intentionally investing in Belfast and Northern Ireland as a key hub, with an established leadership presence, a local team, and community for the long term. This role is fully remote, offering you flexibility to work from anywhere within NI.
Your new role
In this role, you’ll join as a Software Engineer on the ‘BrandX’ team, which is part of the wider ‘Order Engineering’ group.
BrandX (Brand Experience) builds the tools restaurant brands and Olo's internal teams use to run their business on Olo. We own the Dashboard that brand operators log into every day, the internal Admin application, and the billing and invoicing systems that turn platform usage into invoices. We also own how brands sign in and manage their users, including SSO and two-factor authentication, and we are building Olo AI Assist, a natural-language assistant inside the Dashboard.
The team is seven engineers spread across the US and Europe, and you'd be our first hire in Northern Ireland. Because the team sits between brands, Finance, and the rest of Order Engineering, the work is varied. One week you might be shipping a new Dashboard settings page, the next you're tracing a billing discrepancy across our finance integrations or teaching Olo AI Assist a new skill so a brand can update hours across hundreds of stores just by asking. You'll pair with senior engineers, review and ship code most days, and use Claude Code as a normal part of how you work.
How you’ll make an impact
Learn the BrandX domain and technology stack, and get to know the brands, Finance partners, and Order Engineering teams we work with.
Own small-to-medium features end to end, from understanding the requirement to shipping it, with senior engineers available when you need them.
Write code that meets our standards, and participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer.
Build reliable and maintainable software, with test coverage that matches the risk of the change.
Contribute to the team’s delivery pipeline, including test coverage, CI, and deployment practices.
Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot as your default way of building, and help the team push what these tools can do.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, learning how our systems fit together along the way.
Participate in team ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives, sharing updates and feedback.
Take part in learning activities, including game days and training sessions, to build familiarity with Olo’s tools and processes.
Join the on-call rotation, with responsibilities that grow as you learn the team’s systems.
What will set you up for success
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience, or a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
Working knowledge of C# and .NET, and comfort reading code you didn't write.
Some experience building web UIs. We use React and TypeScript, but any modern framework is a fine starting point.
Comfortable with SQL and relational data. A lot of our work is understanding how data moves between systems.
You understand the difference between unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and when each one earns its place.
AI coding agents are your default way of working. You use tools like Claude Code daily, you can explain the fundamentals underneath what they generate, and you're excited about a team that expects you to push them further.
You ask questions early, write things down, and are comfortable working with colleagues in other time zones.
About Olo

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Senior Frontend Engineer
An overview of this role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll solve high-scope frontend problems and influence your team's technical and product direction. You'll ship moderately sized features with minimal guidance, improve quality and performance, mentor other engineers, and help establish standards for a high-scale web environment. You'll partner across product, design, backend, and frontend to make sound trade-offs, communicate clearly, and improve how the team delivers software.
This is an opportunity to shape product experiences and frontend architecture for a global platform while helping define how modern frontend teams use agentic artificial intelligence. You'll apply artificial intelligence-assisted engineering workflows thoughtfully and help create trustworthy user experiences that incorporate artificial intelligence responsibly in a remote-first, asynchronous organization.
What you’ll do
Design and ship moderately sized frontend features and improvements with minimal guidance, making pragmatic architectural choices.
Turn ambiguous customer and product needs into clear technical plans and intuitive, accessible experiences.
Advocate for product quality, security, accessibility, performance, maintainability, and operational readiness throughout the development lifecycle.
Establish and improve practices for frontend architecture, styling, component design, testing, observability, maintainable code, and thoughtful use of artificial intelligence and agentic tools in production engineering work.
Mentor Associate and Intermediate Engineers, share knowledge, remove technical blockers, and improve team delivery practices.
Diagnose and prevent frontend performance and reliability issues at scale using observability and production signals, and participate in incident response or on-call responsibilities under your team's ownership model.
Design or review independently buildable frontend surfaces and explicit contracts for data, events, authorization, feature flags, error handling, testing, and performance expectations.
Collaborate with product, design, backend, quality, security, and other teams to deliver cohesive customer outcomes.
What you’ll bring
Experience applying frontend architecture, browser behavior, testing, accessibility, performance, and maintainability practices in a complex product or platform environment.
Experience designing or evolving modular frontend boundaries, independently buildable surfaces, component systems, or migration-safe architectures.
Experience making pragmatic trade-offs with product and design partners and turning complex requirements into clear user experiences.
The ability to lead through technical judgment, collaboration, and clear written communication rather than formal authority.
Experience mentoring engineers and improving team practices through code review, design review, documentation, or hands-on collaboration.
The ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous organization by managing priorities, creating clarity, and communicating decisions in writing.
Practical experience integrating artificial intelligence into a feature, workflow, or engineering process, or evaluating its reliability, security, privacy, and appropriate human oversight.
Helpful, but not required: experience with Vue, React, Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript; PostgreSQL, Redis, or object storage; representational state transfer or GraphQL; Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine, Docker, or Google Cloud Platform; Prometheus or Sentry; and Git, GitLab Runner, or GitLab continuous integration and continuous delivery.
About the team

Wormhole Labs builds Sunrise (sunrise.xyz http://sunrise.xyz), a platform that helps token issuers launch and list their tokens on Solana. To date, we've orchestrated the launch of 100+ assets on Solana, accounting for more than $10 billion in cumulative trading volume.
As a Trader, you'll develop and run strategies for tokenized equities, pricing and hedging risk across onchain markets and traditional brokerage venues. You'll be responsible for managing capital and writing the code that puts your strategies into production. This is a hybrid trading and engineering role.
What you will do
- Develop and run RFQ-based trading strategies for tokenized spot equities: set parameters such as buffers, spreads, and size limits, while optimizing for evolving business goals.
- Price instruments where reference prices are thin or stale, such as long-tail stocks and extended and overnight sessions.
- Measure execution quality: benchmark fills against references, analyze markouts, and turn what you find into strategy improvements.
- Monitor positions, inventory levels and P&L in real time; proactively flag risks, execute adjustments, and continuously improve tooling & monitoring.
- Integrate with traditional brokerage venues and onchain programs to fill trades and rebalance inventory.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years trading at a market maker, prop firm, DEX, or brokerage, with professional experience specifically trading spot equities.
- Experience developing RFQ systems.
- A rigorous approach to risk management: you track exposure, hedge thoughtfully, and escalate early when conditions shift.
- Self-directed and adaptable: you're comfortable operating with autonomy in a remote-first environment.
- Strong analytical and software engineering skills (e.g., Rust)
We provide
- Competitive salary and restricted token units, dependent on position type and location.
- Unlimited time off, healthcare premium reimbursement, and 401K.
- Top-of-the-line MacBook Pro laptop.
- Flexibility of working from wherever you have work authorization, as long as you can work 10-6PM US Eastern Time. We minimize unnecessary meetings, but building decentralized systems requires synchronous communication.
