Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Robotics Test Engineer to support software release validation, policy evaluations, and end-to-end metrics collection on our humanoid robots. You will work alongside our Test Team, owning day-to-day execution and growing into deeper HIL and automation responsibilities.
This is not a standard web-QA role. You will be running tests on real robots, comparing simulation against reality, and helping us build the data pipeline that tells us whether each new software version is ready to ship.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
SOFTWARE RELEASE TESTING
- Release Validation: Execute the end-to-end test pipeline for each new software release, ensuring quality gates are met before the build is deployed to the fleet.
- Regression Coverage: Run automated and manual regression suites against new builds; triage failures and route them to the right owner.
- CI/CD Participation: Contribute new tests to our CI/CD pipeline (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) so that regressions are caught immediately after code merges.
2. POLICY EVALUATIONS
- Eval Support: Help design and run policy evaluations for our learned behaviors — defining success criteria, executing trials, and collecting results in a reproducible way.
- Simulation: Run policy evaluations in simulation environments (Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim) in parallel with physical robot tests.
- Sim-to-Real: Track differences between simulation and physical robot results and feed findings back to the policy team.
3. E2E METRICS COLLECTION
- Metrics Pipeline: Support the collection of end-to-end performance and reliability metrics across releases, building consistent reporting the org can trust.
- Dashboards: Help maintain dashboards that highlight pass/fail rates, latency, and performance trends release-over-release.
- Data Hygiene: Keep test data clean and well-labeled so that long-term trends remain meaningful as the platform evolves.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: 3+ years in software test engineering or test automation, ideally with some exposure to robotics, embedded systems, or another physical-systems domain.
- Coding: Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation. Comfortable reading C++.
- Robotics Middleware: Working knowledge of ROS2 — you understand topics, services, and how to interact with a running robot.
- OS: Comfortable in Linux (Ubuntu) — terminal, shell scripting, basic system administration.
- Mindset: Methodical and curious. You enjoy finding the one weird edge case that breaks the build.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with robotics simulators (Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Unity).
- Exposure to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches.
- Basic electrical debugging skills (multimeter, oscilloscope).
- Awareness of safety-critical standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262).
TECH STACK
- Languages: Python (primary), C++ (reading), Bash
- Robotics: ROS / ROS2
- CI/CD: GitLab / GitHub Actions
- Simulation: NVIDIA Isaac Sim
- Hardware Interfaces: CAN, EtherCAT, Ethernet
WHAT WE OFFER
- Meaningful time off to rest and recharge: 23 days of annual leave (accrued), 15 days of paid sick leave, and paid company holidays.
- Fully funded private healthcare for UK employees, with broad provider access, virtual and in‑person care, and strong mental health and serious illness support.
- Equity included–we believe builders should share in what they build.
- Pension scheme with a total 8% contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in‑office.
- Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics.
- Freedom to influence the product and own key initiatives.

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
THE ROLE
The DHI Content team builds and maintains Docker Hardened Images: a catalogue of security-hardened system packages, container images and Helm charts designed to be minimal, up to date and safe to use in security-conscious and regulated environments.
This is a supply-chain and open-source maintainer role rather than a conventional backend engineering role. You will work across upstream OSS projects, package and image definitions, Helm charts, Kubernetes, integration tests, vulnerability remediation and the controls that prove content is ready to publish. The work is broad by design: customers should be able to select hardened packages and images and, where relevant, deploy them through hardened charts without the pieces drifting apart.
We are moving DHI content production towards a machine-first factory. Routine work should begin with a machine-produced change and pass through automated build, test, policy and review controls. Engineers add the most value by handling difficult ecosystems, making security judgements, improving standards and turning repeated human corrections into better tooling. You will use AI-assisted engineering extensively, but remain accountable for the evidence and quality behind every result.
As a Senior Supply Chain Security Engineer, you will own substantial content and improvement work from upstream discovery through release and ongoing maintenance. You will be expected to close the loop on customer and security outcomes, not only submit individual definition changes.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
You will succeed by becoming a trusted end-to-end owner for hardened content. Within your first year, you should have delivered complex new or updated DHI content across packages, images and Helm charts, improved the factory or its quality gates, reduced recurring manual work and raised the capability of the engineers around you.
_______________________________________________________________________
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Author and maintain definitions for hardened system packages and container images, including build steps, upstream tracking, multi-architecture support and reproducibility controls.
- Adapt and maintain upstream Helm charts so they work correctly with DHI images under non-root, restricted and production-shaped Kubernetes security constraints.
- Track upstream releases, semver patterns, monorepos, dependency chains and breaking changes, then make pragmatic decisions about when to update, patch, pin or deviate.
- Triage and remediate vulnerabilities across OS packages, application dependencies, images and charts, including VEX and no-upstream-fix cases that require explicit security judgement.
- Write and improve Go-based integration tests, validators and policy checks that prove packages, images and charts behave correctly in real environments.
- Review human-authored and machine-authored pull requests against DHI standards, distinguish blocking issues from advice and give contributors a clear path forward.
- Improve the DHI Factory by converting repeated work, review corrections and escaped defects into automation, tests, validators and reusable authoring patterns.
- Help classify work into deterministic, specialist and judgement paths so people spend time where their expertise changes the outcome.
- Partner with Product, Security, Support and customer-facing teams to turn demand and incidents into prioritised content and durable improvements.
- Engage constructively with upstream maintainers when hardened deployment requirements expose issues or useful improvements.
- Participate in the team's paid on-call rotation and drive learning from customer escalations, failed builds and content defects.
- Communicate decisions, risks and progress clearly in a remote, async-first environment.
_______________________________________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Strong experience with containers, Linux and Kubernetes in production or production-shaped environments.
- Practical experience reading, adapting or maintaining Helm charts and diagnosing how chart templates, values and workload security settings affect deployment behaviour.
- Experience maintaining software you did not originate, such as Linux packages, container images, open-source integrations, charts or a comparable downstream distribution.
- Strong YAML and configuration-review skills, including care for conventions, consistency and downstream impact across a large catalogue.
- Working knowledge of container and Kubernetes security, including non-root execution, UID and GID, capabilities, filesystem restrictions, image layers and multi-architecture builds.
- Practical programming ability in Go or a comparable language, sufficient to write and review integration tests, validators and content automation.
- Experience tracking upstream releases and reasoning about semver, breaking changes, dependency graphs and reproducible builds.
- A maintainer mindset: you catch drift, improve patterns for the next contributor and consider the effect of a change across many downstream consumers.
- Familiarity with GitHub-heavy open-source workflows, including pull requests, review, release tracking and upstream contribution.
- Comfort using AI-assisted engineering critically while retaining ownership of security assertions, test evidence and release quality.
- A strong operational mindset and clear written and spoken communication suited to a remote, async-first company.
HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Experience as a maintainer for Alpine, Debian, Fedora, Wolfi, Homebrew or another package ecosystem.
- Helm chart authorship or meaningful contribution to an upstream chart.
- Experience with SBOMs, VEX, SLSA, Sigstore, cosign, provenance or artefact signing.
- Experience with apk, deb, rpm, Go modules, Maven or Gradle, npm, pip, Cargo or other dependency ecosystems.
- Experience building automation for package, image or chart creation, validation and release.
- Experience with FIPS, FedRAMP, PCI or other regulated and security-conscious environments.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
- Build context on the DHI catalogue, its package, image and chart definitions, the DHI Factory and the team's definition of done.
- Pair across both image and Helm chart work and ship a useful production change.
- Learn the build, test, signing, publishing and vulnerability-remediation workflows.
- Take part in reviews and an incident, escalation or failed-build learning session.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Own a complex image and chart addition or update from upstream analysis through release.
- Resolve a meaningful CVE, dependency or compatibility problem with clear evidence and customer impact in mind.
- Improve at least one factory control, integration test, validator or reusable content pattern.
- Review across artefact types and help another engineer take on a broader piece of work.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK (FIRST YEAR)
- Be a trusted senior owner across hardened packages, images and Helm charts.
- Deliver material catalogue growth or quality improvements without increasing human effort linearly with demand.
- Reduce recurring manual work by moving a class of changes into a proven automated path.
- Improve DHI's security posture, content availability and release reliability for customers.
- Raise review quality and grow the team's ability to work across artefact and dependency ecosystems.
Visa sponsorship: Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.

What The Role Is
As a
Senior Engineer
at Babylist, you take on hard problems and own them end-to-end. Millions of families depend on what we build. Agents write most of the code now. So the hard part is yours: what to build, how it should work and whether what shipped was right. You're still in the code for the genuinely hard problems. Agents handle the volume. You spend your time on the parts that need a person.
We're building well beyond the registry now: the financial side of raising a kid, maternal health made simpler and more human, the education new parents are looking for and the community around them. The hard problems run across all of it, plus the platform underneath and the AI we already ship to families. You'll start on a team, but you won't be boxed into it. The roadmap is open, your scope grows as you do and you have a say in what you take on next. Senior here means owning whole problems; Staff is the next step up, setting direction across a domain.
What You'll Own
A Senior Engineer here owns problems, not just features. You're handed an outcome, you decide what to build, ship it and own whether it worked. You act on incomplete information and change course fast when the evidence says you were wrong.
What you do depends on what the team needs:
Frame the problem with your PM as a peer, run the experiment and bring customer evidence into what gets built.
Harden a critical path, kill a class of incidents or design the abstraction your team builds on.
Be the reviewer people want on the risky changes.
Manage up with crisp choices: raise the risks early and protect the right tradeoffs.
Share what you're learning about AI openly, so the whole team gets sharper.
A few problems people at this level are working on right now:
Deciding what the registry recommends to each family, from the ranking to the model behind it, and proving in a live experiment that it actually helps.
Building the evals system that catches our AI support agent making things up before a customer does.
Making a child's info one source of truth instead of five disconnected flows, so parents set it up once and new products like Early Investor build on it.
Who You Are
You've been shipping production systems for years, and you've got the judgment to show for it. You can pick up an ambiguous problem and start moving before anyone hands you the full picture.
The strongest Senior engineers here are generalists, and usually the most prolific builders on their team. You go wherever the problem leads: a backend service one week, a stubborn frontend bug the next, the data pipeline after that. When it's hard you dig in, and you learn unfamiliar parts of the stack fast. Range is the Senior signature.
Compensation
We post real numbers. For a US-based Senior Engineer, the starting base salary range is $202,200 to $251,700, plus a target annual bonus of 15 percent of base. That's total target cash of roughly $232,530 to $289,455. On top of that you get meaningful equity and a 401(k) match. Where you start in that range depends on your experience, and your pay grows from there with performance and scope.
How We Build
AI is the default here. Engineers run agentic sessions for most of the work, and a lot of the interesting engineering now lives in the scaffolding that makes the agents good: the eval harnesses, the curated context, custom review skills and fast CI. Agents also triage incidents and handle a big share of support. A human always owns the outcome. The architecture is intentionally simple: one Rails monolith, MySQL and few moving parts. That's deliberate. Simple infrastructure lets us move fast and lets AI reason about the whole system, so the hardest problems are the ones in front of customers.
The Stack
Core app:
Rails, Packwerk, React, TypeScript, Sidekiq
Mobile:
iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin)
Data, search & events:
MySQL, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Weaviate, WarpStream, Hex, Sigma
Machine learning:
deep learning, matrix factorization, retrieval & ranking, AWS SageMaker, MLflow
AI & dev tooling:
Claude Code, Devin, Linear, CodeRabbit, Warden, LangChain, Bedrock AgentCore, Maxim
Infra & ops:
AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Datadog, incident.io, LaunchDarkly
Key integrations:
Shopify (payments), Iterable (CRM)
Why Babylist
An engineer, expecting her first baby, couldn't find the registry she wanted. So she built it. That's how Babylist started, and it's still how we work: engineers solving problems for families. Becoming a parent is one of the biggest moments in a person's life. Millions reach it for the first time every year, making thousands of decisions and figuring it out as they go. That's who we build for, and we're a long way from done.
Ten million people give gifts through Babylist every year. We did more than $750M in revenue in 2025, up 45 percent over the year before, and we've been profitable for eight years while staying independent. So you can take on a hard, multi-year problem without watching over your shoulder for the next round or the next correction. And the team is small, around 65 engineers, so what you ship stays visible and your scope stays wide.
How We Work
Remote-first across the US and Canada, and we have been for years. That's not changing. We trust you to own your time and your outcomes, and we get everyone in a room together twice a year. Teams are small, pods of three to five engineers, so nothing you ship disappears into a committee. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with product, design and data, and with the partners across the business who rely on what you ship. You'll also stay close to customers yourself: sitting in on user interviews, watching session recordings, riding along with support. Here that's part of the engineering job, on a regular basis.
How We Hire
Three rounds, usually two to three weeks, start to finish.
Recruiter conversation (30 minutes).
Trade context: what you want next, what we're building and straight answers on comp, team and remote.
Technical screen (1 hour).
One round, no AI, language-agnostic. Reach for Google when you normally would. We just want to see how you reason from first principles.
Final round (4 hours).
Four one-hour interviews: system design, AI-assisted coding with the tools you'd actually use here, product sense and culture and values. You'll hear back either way within 24 to 48 hours.
If your timeline is tight, tell us and we'll move faster.
Benefits
Company-paid medical and fully covered dental and vision
A 401(k) match
Generous paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, plus a gradual return-to-work program
Winter Wonder Week, a paid company-wide week off at the end of the year
A remote-work stipend
Mental-health and wellness support
A Few Things To Know
We record and transcribe interviews to evaluate candidates, in line with applicable privacy laws.
We expect you to use AI in your work and we welcome it in the process, but what you submit and say should reflect your own thinking.
If you have a family member or close relationship with a Babylist employee, let your recruiter know.
Official outreach only ever comes from an @babylist.com address.

THE ROLE
You are a software engineer who cares deeply about security. Embedded in the Desktop engineering team, you will bring an engineering-first perspective to the security of a complex, cross-platform product built at the intersection of identity, OCI runtimes, and Linux kernel internals. You will read and write Go, participate in feature development, and make security a first-class concern from the inside out: not as an outside reviewer, but as a contributing member of the team.
This role is for someone who is primarily a builder, and who applies that builder’s instinct to making Docker Desktop more secure by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the Docker Desktop codebase in Go, with a focus on security-sensitive areas such as authentication flows, privilege boundaries, and container runtime behavior.
- Participate in design and code reviews across the team, bringing a security perspective to features before they ship.
- Conduct threat modeling and security design reviews for new and evolving product features, with particular focus on authentication, authorization, and container runtime security.
- Serve as the team’s primary liaison to the organization’s security group, attending security syncs and translating central policy into practical engineering decisions.
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming vulnerability reports and CVEs: validate severity, reproduce issues, coordinate disclosure timelines, and drive remediation with the relevant engineers.
- Develop and maintain internal security documentation, guidelines, and runbooks for the team.
- Stay current on the Linux security landscape as it pertains to containers: namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, AppArmor, capabilities, and the evolving OCI ecosystem.
_______________________________________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS

_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
- You will onboard into the team and get hands-on with the Docker Desktop codebase, architecture, and development workflow. You will meet your counterparts in the central security organization and learn how vulnerability reports are currently handled. The goal is to listen, ask questions, and build a clear picture of the product’s current security posture, not to change anything yet.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- You will be an active contributor, writing and reviewing Go code and bringing a security lens to features in flight. You will have taken ownership of the vulnerability intake process, handling your first end-to-end triage cycles with minimal guidance. You will have a working relationship with the engineers on the team and a growing sense of where the most meaningful security investments should be made.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK (FIRST YEAR)
- You will be a trusted contributor to both the product and its security posture. You will have shipped meaningful improvements directly to the codebase, whether to auth flows, container isolation defaults, or other security-sensitive areas, and driven better security practices across the team’s development lifecycle. Your work will be directly visible in the security and resilience of a product used by millions of developers every day.
Visa sponsorship: Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role:
Anthropic sits at the frontier of AI development, which makes us one of the most interesting targets in the world for nation-state and advanced criminal actors. The Threat Intelligence function within our Detection & Response team exists to make sure we see them coming. As a Threat Intelligence Engineer, you'll be a hands-on practitioner responsible for producing the actionable intelligence that drives our detections, hunts, and defensive priorities. You'll track the adversaries most likely to target a frontier AI lab, build the tooling and pipelines that turn raw indicators into operational defenses, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with detection engineers and incident responders to make sure intelligence actually changes outcomes. This is a builder's role on a small, high-leverage team — you'll have broad latitude to shape how threat intelligence is collected, analyzed, and operationalized at Anthropic.
Responsibilities:
Research, track, and report on threat actors and campaigns targeting AI labs, cloud infrastructure, and the broader technology sector — producing timely, actionable intelligence for Security Engineering stakeholders
Build and maintain tooling and automated pipelines to collect, enrich, correlate, and operationalize indicators of compromise into our detection and alerting stack
Develop and execute intelligence-driven threat hunts across endpoint, cloud, identity, and SaaS telemetry, and turn findings into durable detections
Perform technical analysis of malware, phishing infrastructure, and attacker tooling to extract indicators, TTPs, and attribution signals
Partner with Detection Engineering and Incident Response to translate intelligence into detection rules, hunting hypotheses, and incident context in near-real-time
Curate and triage inbound intelligence from commercial feeds, open source, government, and trusted peer relationships — prioritizing what matters for Anthropic's threat model
Contribute to threat models and risk assessments that inform security architecture and defensive investment across the enterprise
Build and maintain external intelligence-sharing relationships with peer companies, ISACs, and government partners
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, or intrusion analysis at an organization facing sophisticated adversaries
Have deep, demonstrable knowledge of specific nation-state or advanced criminal threat actors — their tooling, infrastructure patterns, tradecraft, and targeting
Are a strong engineer: you write production-quality Python (or similar), have built automation and data pipelines, and don't need to hand requirements to someone else to get tooling built
Are comfortable performing malware analysis, infrastructure analysis (passive DNS, certificate pivoting, netflow), and log analysis to develop and validate your own findings
Have experience authoring detection logic (YARA, Sigma, Snort/Suricata, or SIEM-native queries) and understand what makes a detection durable vs. brittle
Can write clearly and concisely — your intelligence products are read and acted on, not filed away
Have an existing network in the threat intelligence community and a track record of productive bidirectional sharing
Strong candidates may have:
Experience defending cloud-native and research-heavy environments (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, ML infrastructure, developer tooling and supply chain)
Prior work operating in a threat intelligence role tracking sophisticated or state-sponsored adversaries, where your analysis directly informed detection, threat hunting, and incident response
Experience applying LLMs or other AI tooling to accelerate intelligence collection, enrichment, and analysis
Public research, conference talks, or open-source tooling contributions in the CTI space
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Metabase is the easiest way for people to get insights from their data, from tiny startups who get up and running quickly to major corporations with tens of thousands of users. That's why people love us.
We bring data tools with the elegance and simplicity of consumer products to the crufty world of enterprise business intelligence. We provide an opinionated open source starting point for how companies should measure, analyze and share their data, which is used by tens of thousands of companies.
Our engineering team of ~70 people is fully distributed across the globe, and we work hard to build an async-friendly, shipping-focused engineering culture.
About the Role
We're seeking CI Engineers to join our engineering team and help keep our testing and release infrastructure healthy, fast, and reliable. This is a critical role — our CI and testing systems are complex, deeply relied upon, and continuously evolving.
You won't be writing product features, and you won't be expected to author new test coverage. Instead, your job is to own the health and reliability of our CI systems end to end. That means supporting the engineers who are writing tests, but it also means taking initiative — spotting problems before they become outages, identifying patterns in flakiness before they erode confidence in the test suite, and proactively improving the release process rather than waiting for things to break. We want someone who feels a genuine sense of ownership over these systems and acts accordingly.
This is a great role for a self-directed engineer who takes pride in the reliability of the infrastructure others depend on, and who can both identify problems as well as solve them.
What You'll Do
Own and proactively improve our GitHub Actions-based CI pipelines
— not just fixing what breaks, but anticipating bottlenecks and reliability issues before they impact the team
Triage and resolve flaky tests
across a large, multi-layered test suite spanning unit, integration, and end-to-end tests — identifying systemic patterns, not just one-off fixes
Support ongoing releases
and take ownership of improving the release process over time
Act as a first responder to emergent CI infrastructure issues,
diagnosing and resolving them quickly and independently
Support product engineers
who are writing tests using Cypress, Jest, and our home-grown Clojure-based test frameworks
Manage test infrastructure
across a wide matrix of databases — we test against nearly all major transactional and analytical cloud databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and more
Document and communicate
clearly and asynchronously across a globally distributed team — and keep the broader engineering team informed about the state of CI health without being asked, as well as communicating and demonstrating best practices.
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated experience working with CI/CD systems in a professional engineering environment — you don't need to be a 10-year veteran, but you need to have done this work, done it well, and owned it
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — you notice things that are heading in the wrong direction and fix them without waiting to be asked
The independence to manage your own priorities and operate effectively without close supervision across a globally distributed team
Solid understanding of GitHub Actions or comparable CI platforms
Experience with JavaScript testing tools, particularly Cypress and/or Jest
Comfort with containerization (Docker) — our database test matrix depends on it
Solid shell scripting skills (Bash)
Experience diagnosing and fixing flaky tests in large test suites
Strong async written communication skills — this is a remote-first, globally distributed team
Curiosity and a systematic approach to debugging unfamiliar systems
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Clojure and TypeScript
Experience testing against or operating cloud data warehouses or analytical databases
Experience building and supporting software release pipelines
Why This Role
You'll have real ownership over systems that directly affect the productivity of a 70-person engineering team
You'll work on infrastructure that supports widely used open source software
Fully remote, any timezone — we're serious about async-first culture
You'll have the autonomy to identify and drive improvements rather than just work a ticket queue
Compensation
The US base salary range for this role is $116K–$213K annually, plus equity and benefits.
Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and scope of responsibility. Pay may vary by geographic location and other job-related factors.
Benefits
We offer meaningful equity and a comprehensive US benefits package, including fully employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (with 75% coverage for dependents), a 401(k) with employer match available to enroll after the first 30 days, flexible and unlimited paid time off including sick time, and an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
We're a global team (50% outside the US), fully distributed (from Thailand to California), who get things done asynchronously, with plenty of uninterrupted time, supporting each other to do the best work of our careers. We offer flexibility (define your own schedule and work from wherever you want), autonomy, and an environment that fosters growth, learning, and development. We're relentlessly user-focused and believe in building long-term value, not short-term hacks. And we raised a $30M Series B to take our approach to the next level for years to come.
For U.S. applicants: Metabase participates in the federal E-Verify program, which confirms employment authorization of newly hired U.S. based employees. E-Verify is not used as a tool to pre-screen candidates and is only initiated upon hire.

We're hiring several Product Operations Managers to embed within our core product teams. Each will contribute to a key component of our stack. Whether you are ensuring models work within each of our harnesses, prioritizing a great experience across cloud offerings, or building the application layer that keeps users on the frontier, the Product Operations team is an integral part of delivering great products to the world.
Product Operations is the connective tissue between Research, Product, and the market. We shorten the distance between what our models can do and what people get to use. Each of us sits inside one product team as an extension of its leadership, and together we run one shared operating system for how Anthropic ships and learns.
On a given day you might get a launch through its final review, run an early access window, or triaging customer feedback. The rest of the week you build the systems so the team ships and learns faster next time. Our team is small and gets unusual leverage from Claude enabling us to fill gaps across the company and deliver outsized value.
Responsibilities:
1. Ship with confidence
Own launch readiness for your team. Keep our launch calendar the source of truth for what is shipping and when.
Get every major launch through go/no-go: pre-read written, Security, Safeguards, Legal, and Commercial sign-offs recorded, and any accepted risk written down on purpose.
Run early access and beta programs that return signal Product and Research can act on. Define the question before the window opens, give testers the scaffolding to answer it, and close each one with a retro on whether the feedback landed.
Program manage new model launches on your surface: readiness goals set in advance, testing and eval coverage tracked, issues triaged, prompting changes landed, retro run. You won't write the evals. You run the program around them.
2. Close the loop with users
Turn a lot of noise into two clear signals: what users are asking for, ranked by impact and mapped to the roadmap, and which customers or cohorts are blocked, on what, and why it matters.
Plug your team into Anthropic's shared feedback systems rather than building a private one, and improve the shared systems where they fall short.
Make sure the field, Support, and Research hear back about what happened with what they sent.
3. Run the team's operating system
Set the team's pace: planning, business and execution reviews, goal tracking, offsites.
Own how your team works with Legal, Safeguards, Security, GTM, and other product teams so partnering with your team is predictable.
Push reporting overhead toward zero. Reviews and digests should be generated from data that already exists.
Fill the gaps. Every embedded seat carries one or two projects unique to its team, for example managing Monthly Business Reviews and helping track progress between cycles.
4. Build with Claude
Build the tools you need yourself: Claude-powered triage, dashboards that read and write to our systems of record, skills and agents that take the chasing out of the job.
Contribute what you build back to the ProdOps team as reusable patterns (launch checklists, EAP setup, lookbacks, deprecations) so nobody starts from scratch.
You may be a good fit if you have:
Have owned an operational program end to end (launches, early access, feedback, or planning) that a product team relied on to make decisions. You designed it and ran it, not just executed someone else's plan.
Have built a process from zero to one and then simplified it as it scaled. You treat process as a product: it has users, metrics, and a happy path people want to follow.
Have worked embedded with product leadership and can move a team without formal authority.
Build with AI yourself. You have shipped Claude or other LLM-powered workflows, written the prompts, iterated on the outputs, and can describe model behavior with specifics.
Have direct experience managing evals, refining system prompts, and adapting harnesses to new models.
Have direct experience working with Cloud providers in partnership or GTM capacity
Have commitment to safe deployment of AI. Bonus if experience with AI Safety and Safeguards.
Bonus:
Program managed model launches or model quality at an application-layer AI product.
Run early access, beta, or design partner programs.
Product management, technical program management, chief of staff, or strategy and operations experience at a startup or fast-growing product company.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$260,000
—
$325,000 USD

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an Operations Engineer who is technically curious, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and proactive to join our Global Technical Operations (GTO) team. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to monitor and investigate production issues across a global platform, help improve how we detect and respond to incidents, analyze trends and patterns in production data, and contribute to better communication with partners and stakeholders during incidents.
Strong troubleshooting skills, observability platform experience, and scripting ability are essential, along with experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, or NOC environments supporting high-availability platforms (payments, e-commerce, SaaS, or gaming). The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English — both written and verbal — when writing incident updates, shift handoffs, and status page communications will be key to your success in this role.
If you're passionate about keeping critical systems running and continuously improving operational processes and love being the first to spot issues and the one who drives them to resolution for game developers and players worldwide, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary dashboard monitor during your shift — continuously watch the GTO Operational Dashboard in Datadog, detect anomalies by correlating signals across APM, logs, metrics, synthetic tests, and Real User Monitoring, and determine whether alerts warrant an incident ticket or can be resolved through immediate investigation.
Triage and investigate production incidents — create incident tickets in JIRA Service Management, perform initial technical investigation using Datadog (traces, logs, infrastructure and application metrics), determine blast radius and likely root cause domain, and route to the correct team (Product SRE, Infrastructure SRE, or Engineering) using the smart routing model.
Own lower-severity incidents end-to-end from detection through resolution — diagnose, execute runbook procedures, and resolve without escalation where possible. Escalate promptly when an incident is unresolved within defined thresholds or requires a code-level fix.
Support the TSO Lead during major incidents as the technical right hand in the war room — surface real-time data (error rates, impact scope, deployment history, related alerts), maintain the incident ticket with live timeline entries and linked evidence, and execute mitigation actions as directed.
Draft incident communications under TSO Lead direction, including internal Slack updates, stakeholder notifications, and customer-facing status page updates (status.xsolla.com). Support clear, timely communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
During non-incident periods, analyze incident trends, recurring issues, and production bugs — compile data from Datadog, JIRA, and Slack, identify patterns, and contribute findings to regular reports for product and engineering teams.
Compile incident timelines and draft initial PIR documents for Post-Incident Review preparation. Track PIR action items post-session and flag overdue items to the TSO Lead.
Build and maintain operational automation (alert enrichment scripts, incident templates, Slack workflows, dashboard widgets) and contribute to runbook development — documenting new resolution procedures so they can be repeated by any Operations Engineer on any shift.
Conduct structured shift handoffs covering active incidents, at-risk services, upcoming deployments, and follow-up items. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with SREs to continuously expand independent resolution capability.
Cover for the TSO Lead during vacations, absences, or emergencies — including severity classification, escalation decisions, stakeholder communications, and basic Incident Commander functions.
Publish health reports of critical apps periodically.
Qualifications and Skills
4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, NOC, or technical operations in a high-availability environment. Experience with platforms that handle payments, e-commerce, SaaS, or gaming workloads is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills — ability to take an alert or user-reported symptom and methodically trace it through the stack: application logs, APM traces, infrastructure metrics, database queries, and network paths.
Hands-on experience with Datadog (or equivalent observability platform: Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Elastic) — navigating APM, building log queries, reading infrastructure dashboards, interpreting SLO burn rates, and configuring monitors and alerts.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Go, or Bash. You will write automation scripts, build operational tooling, and work with APIs.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English — ability to write incident tickets, investigation notes, Slack updates, shift handoff reports, status page communications, and PIR drafts that are clear, concise, and useful to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable) — understanding of pods, deployments, services, ingress, node health, and how to investigate Kubernetes-related production issues.
Understanding of SLOs, error budgets, and burn-rate alerting — knowing what a multi-window burn-rate alert means, how error budgets deplete, and how SLO breaches translate into incident severity.
Experience with incident management tooling: JIRA or JIRA Service Management, PagerDuty or OpsGenie, Slack, and Confluence.
Experience with or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted operations: anomaly detection, alert correlation, predictive monitoring, or automated remediation.
Comfort with 24x7 shift-based operations as part of a follow-the-sun model with handoff overlaps. Weekend on-call (rotating) is required.
Nice to Have
Experience in the gaming, payments, or fintech industry — particularly environments where transaction processing, checkout flows, or player-facing services must meet strict uptime requirements.
Familiarity with Datadog Service Catalog, synthetic monitoring, and RUM; exposure to database operations (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka); and experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm).
JIRA Service Management administration experience (workflows, automation rules, SLA timers) or ITIL Foundation certification — practical experience matters more than credentials.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — ability to draft clear, concise executive updates at 3 AM under pressure, facilitate blameless PIRs, present operational metrics to senior leadership, and communicate incident status to customers and partners with clarity and professionalism.
Strong ITIL foundation — understanding of incident, problem, and change management lifecycles with practical experience implementing or operating ITIL-aligned workflows.
Technical depth across the observability stack — ability to read and interpret logs, traces, and metrics in Datadog (or equivalent: Grafana, Splunk, New Relic). Understanding of APM, SLOs, error budgets, burn-rate alerting, and synthetic monitoring.

Audit service catalogue completeness on a regular cadence and govern JIRA Service Management workflows for incident, PIR, and problem management.
Cover for the Operations Engineer role during absences, breaks, or surge incidents. Participate in weekend on-call rotation for major incidents.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in incident management, SRE, NOC leadership, or technical operations in a production environment supporting high-availability, high-transaction systems (payments, e-commerce, SaaS, or gaming platforms preferred).
Proven incident management experience — coordinating multi-team response, making real-time escalation decisions, and communicating with executive stakeholders under pressure.
Hands-on experience with incident tooling: Datadog, PagerDuty or OpsGenie, JIRA or JIRA Service Management, Slack, and Confluence.
Analytical mindset — ability to identify trends, patterns, and recurring issues from incident data and translate them into actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams.
Experience with SLA/SLO-driven operations where MTTD, MTTA, and MTTR are measured, reported, and improved.
Experience with or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted operations: anomaly detection, alert correlation, predictive alerting, automated remediation, or self-healing automation.
Comfort with 24x7 shift-based operations as part of a follow-the-sun model with handoff overlaps. Weekend on-call (rotating) for critical severities is required.
Nice to have:
Experience in the gaming, payments, or fintech industry.
Experience with customer/partner-facing incident communications and status page management.
JIRA Service Management administration experience: workflows, SLA timers, automation rules, queues, and permissions.
Familiarity with Datadog Service Catalog, scorecards, and SLOs — especially burn-rate alerts and multi-window SLOs.
Experience building an operations function from scratch — defining processes, writing runbooks, establishing governance cadences.
Background in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), microservices architecture, or distributed systems.
ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) is a plus but not required.
