Location: San Francisco, CA or Remote, US
Platform owns the
foundation
the company runs on: compute and deployment, reliability and on-call, CI/CD and monorepo health, developer environments, the infrastructure that model training and inference run on, and the security boundaries around all of it.
AI and agent tooling is the clearest example. You will contribute to how models are trained and served here, as well as how agents work inside our codebase: the environments they run in, the verification that makes their output trustworthy, and the review paths that keep it all legible. There is no industry standard and you’ll help form our opinions rather than inheriting one.
Our users are other engineers. Expect to spend time with all the other engineering teams, understanding their needs and building a roadmap. The scope is large, so you'll be choosing what to leave alone as much as build.
Architecture decisions here last: this is a small team covering a large surface. You'll have real room to decide things, and you'll stay close to the systems you decide about.
What you'll own
Own our platform:
GCP, Kubernetes, Temporal, the GPU fleet behind cloud export, and the deploy and rollback machinery everything ships through. You'll be in the on-call rotation, and we'll expect you to make it quieter and more actionable.
The AI enablement substrate:
GPU capacity, training and inference pipelines, and the reliability and cost of the systems serving models in production.
Cost is an engineering constraint:
infrastructure decisions have a number attached and you're expected to make smart trade-offs. As inference grows with usage, the metering and attribution behind those numbers sit with this team.
Security comes with the systems you run
: identity and access, secrets management, least-privilege boundaries, and supply-chain integrity.
Make what you build legible.
Infrastructure-as-code that explains itself. Runbooks and in-repo context written for someone jumping in to help. Observability that tells you what failed and why.
Improve how the team learns and ships.
Form hypotheses, instrument your work, release incrementally, and read results honestly. Strengthen the tooling, standards, tests, observability, and release practices that help the team move quickly without compromising quality.
Raise the team’s technical ambition.
Provide architectural direction, thoughtful reviews, mentoring, and clear human writing.
What you bring
Required:
You have 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems, or equivalent server-side engineering with a heavy infrastructure focus.
You effectively leverage agents to multiply your impact and think critically about how and when to harness AI in your work.
You've run systems where failure was expensive, and your opinions about reliability and deployment come from consequences rather than reading.
You've carried a pager, commanded an incident, and rolled back before you understood why.
You use SLOs and error budgets as operating tools.
You’ve used a major cloud provider and Kubernetes in production, with infrastructure-as-code as your default.
You've owned an architecture or migration, from planning through launch, whose consequences outlived the project, and you can say what you'd do differently.
You've found important unowned work, scoped it, earned buy-in, and delivered it without being handed a spec.
You build a minimal repro, read the logs, and write targeted checks to prove a fix works instead of trusting output.
Experience that helps:
GPU and ML infrastructure:
capacity planning, training or inference pipelines, serving cost and latency. If you haven't run a GPU fleet, experience with expensive capacity-constrained systems transfers well.
Production security engineering:
IAM, secrets, supply chain, least privilege. You don't need to have held a security title, but you should have owned these boundaries for systems you ran.
Cloud cost modeling:
commitment strategy, reservations, unit economics.
CI/CD:
at monorepo scale, and developer-environment work.
Intricacies of Video:
Media, video, or GPU-backed workloads.
Small teams owning a large surface:
whether at a Series B to D company or on an internal platform team.
Descript is a startup. We’re especially interested in working with engineers who use the product and are aligned with our mission. To that end, we promise to review any application that includes a share link to a Descript video. The video can be about anything - your career, a favorite game or movie, a discarded audition tape for Love Island. If you take the time to make something in Descript, we’ll commit to having a human watch it and review your application. 🤝
Compensation and benefits
Base salary: $220,000 to $292,000, plus equity and benefits. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, and level, and may vary from the amount above.

About the role
Descript's script-based editing features are at the heart of why creators trust us for their highest-stakes content. Product launches. Client interviews. Marketing campaigns. Content that represents them to their audiences.
As Lead Product Manager of the Narrative Editing team, you'll own how users capture, edit, and perfect their stories. You'll shape the script-first editing that makes video as simple as a document, the recording and writing tools that let users create without leaving Descript, and the AI regeneration features that make edits feel seamless and natural.
This is an opportunity to shape features that professional creators depend on while working with cutting-edge AI, a product users love, and a small, collaborative team where your impact is immediate and visible.
What you’ll do
Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their creative goals, and the evolving AI video landscape — and use those insights to guide the editor roadmap
Bring Descript's taste for great video into interactions and defaults, so creators naturally produce polished, professional work
Continuously expand our editing capabilities with frontier AI technology by partnering with our AI Research team, launching features like video regeneration and automatic speaker identification
Own the recording, script generation, and translation flows that help users achieve their end-to-end video workflows directly in Descript
Ensure Descript scales reliably for larger teams and more complex workflows
Who you are
You’ve built deceptively powerful tools:
You have 5 or more years of product management experience shipping creative tools or workflow products that feel simple enough for everyone, but scale to handle sophisticated use cases. You are a systems-minded product thinker who excels at designing intuitive experiences for complex, end-to-end workflows.
You start with the customer
: Plenty of “AI products” start with the technology and they all suck. You care deeply about understanding customers, and have experience in doing customer discovery and defining features that solve real problems.
You are a fog sculptor
: There are aspects to our editor and its design that do not have real competitors yet. The product intuition and design conventions have not been decided. You are attracted to ambiguous problems, know how to ask smart questions, and translate ideas into action.
You care about craft:
Our product is not a hype machine that runs on empty promises and vaporware. We think our product will be successful because people love to use it. That means you sweat the details. But without the sweat, because you aren’t stressed out.
You are funny, creative, maybe kind of weird
: Ok, this isn’t a hard requirement but Descript is kind of a quirky place and the people who love it tend to
like
that about working here. So, just want to drop a hint early on. Also, the sense of humor is important because even though we take our work seriously it’s still just, like, video creation and editing. We aren’t flying rockets into space so let’s all have a good time.
The base salary range for this role is $225,000 - $290,000. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, level, and may vary from the amount above.

Monitor usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities across Claude surface areas (API, Claude Code, Cowork) to drive full value from contracted commitments
Serve as the customer’s thought partner, enhancing their knowledge of Claude products by socializing Anthropic’s product roadmap, driving awareness on new products and engaging Product PMs
Develop and execute change management strategies to drive end-user adoption and maximize value within customer organizations, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and organizational enablement
Ruthlessly prioritize across the account's many business units and workstreams, building programmatic, repeatable motions
You may be a good fit if you have:
6+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, or Strategy Consulting
Native English and Spanish
Experience working with F500 technology companies, SaaS platforms, or digital-first businesses at the exec level—ideally including high-growth and established tech companies.
You understand what it means to lead organization-wide change or adoption programs (multiple functions, hundreds of users) for a product that requires C-suite sponsorship
Technical fluency with ability to understand and articulate AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns across a set of diverse stakeholders—from developers and product managers to executives and end users
Proven track record managing a portfolio of accounts while maintaining strong relationships and driving measurable outcomes — you can run multiple enterprise motions in parallel without letting any account go quiet.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

An overview of this role
As a Data Engineer at GitLab, you'll build, run, and maintain the pipelines and infrastructure that bring data from our enterprise applications, internal systems, and GitLab's software as a service (SaaS) platform into our data platform. Your work will power company reporting, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI) self-service.
You'll own features end to end, from source integration to tested, monitored, documented data ready for use. You'll focus on keeping the platform reliable, secure, and cost-efficient as data volumes and AI usage grow, and making governed data ready for AI tools, agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based access. This is an AI-first role: you'll use AI coding agents every day while maintaining high standards for code review and testing. You'll report to the Director, Data Platform.
What you’ll do
Build, extend, and maintain extract, load, transform (ELT) pipelines from enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Zuora, Zendesk, and Marketo, internal systems, and the GitLab SaaS platform. Integrate data through application programming interfaces (APIs) and event sources such as Snowplow.
Manage and maintain the infrastructure behind the platform, including SaaS tools such as Snowflake, Fivetran, and Monte Carlo, and self-managed services such as Airflow and Kubernetes.
Write maintainable, well-tested, performant Python and Structured Query Language (SQL) code that meets our internal standards, and review GitLab team members' merge requests.
Own day-to-day platform operations: triage and resolve failed pipelines, infrastructure issues, and GitLab team member requests. Use monitoring, service-level agreements (SLAs), data contracts, query and warehouse tuning, and data quality checks to keep the platform reliable and cost-efficient.
Partner with Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Governance, and business partners so data lands in the shape they need for downstream use.
Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenCode, GitLab Duo, or similar tools to speed up development, debugging, testing, and documentation without compromising review rigor.
Apply role-based access control (RBAC) and masking policies to make governed data available to AI tools and agents. Handle data subject to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, material nonpublic information (MNPI), and personal data safely.
Ship medium-sized features independently in small, iterative merge requests, and document architecture and runbooks in the handbook.
What You'll Bring
Professional experience shipping production data pipelines in Python.
Deep, hands-on SQL skills and experience with a cloud data warehouse; Snowflake is preferred.
Hands-on experience with ELT or extract, transform, load (ETL) pipelines at scale, including incremental loads, schema changes, backfills, and API ingestion.
Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, familiarity with dbt, and solid data modeling fundamentals, including Kimball dimensional modeling.
Experience running and troubleshooting data infrastructure, with comfort using Git-based workflows, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and code review.
Hands-on experience using AI coding tools in your daily work, with an understanding of where they help and where they fall short.
Clear written communication, the ability to use GitLab, and comfort working asynchronously in a fully remote organization in line with GitLab's values.
Preferred, not required: experience with Snowflake; Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Terraform; SaaS application APIs such as Salesforce, Zuora, or Zendesk; data observability tooling; or Snowflake administration.
About the team
The Data Platform team within Enterprise Data is responsible for a scalable, reliable and secure data platform for data analytics at GitLab. That includes managing and maintaining the infrastructure we use, both SaaS and self-managed, and building and maintaining the data pipelines that bring data into it. We make data reliable, secure and ready for analytics, data science and AI tools. As more questions go straight to AI tools and agents, the platform underneath has to be more reliable, better governed and more cost-efficient than ever. We're fully remote and globally distributed, and work asynchronously through issues, merge requests and the handbook.

ABOUT THE ROLE
ElevenLabs operates a complex and fast-evolving revenue model – enterprise contracts, self-serve API subscriptions, usage-based billing, and expanding international markets. As a Revenue Accountant, you will play a key role in ElevenLabs’ revenue accounting function.
You will own significant portions of the monthly revenue close, support the application of ASC 606 to customer arrangements, and help build scalable processes and controls as ElevenLabs grows toward IPO readiness.
You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Billing Operations, Engineering, and FP&A to support contract review, usage and billing completeness, new product launches, and accurate and timely revenue recognition. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role in a lean Finance team – the right person will independently run recurring workstreams, identify issues early, and help scale the revenue accounting operating model as the business grows.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Execute significant portions of the monthly revenue close, including journal entries, deferred and unbilled revenue schedules, reconciliations, and flux analysis
- Perform recurring usage / consumption completeness and billing-to-GL reconciliations; investigate exceptions and drive resolution with cross-functional partners
- Review customer contracts and apply established ASC 606 guidance to standard arrangements; escalate novel, high-judgment, or precedent-setting matters
- Support accounting for credits, refunds, contract modifications, cutoff, and variable consideration, with clear and audit-ready documentation
- Prepare revenue workpapers, audit support, and control evidence; support external audit, walkthroughs, and SOX readiness activities
- Support accounting readiness and UAT for new products, pricing structures, billing models, and partner / channel launches
- Improve and automate recurring revenue processes, reconciliations, documentation, and exception reporting as the business scales
REQUIREMENTS
- Deep expertise in ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements, SSP evaluation, variable consideration, contract modifications, and principal vs. agent analysis
- Experience leading the revenue close: deferred revenue management, unbilled receivables, journal entry review, and month-end flux analysis
- Track record of partnering with Sales and Legal on contract review and revenue impact assessments
- Experience operating in a pre-IPO or public company environment, with direct exposure to external audit, controls build-out, and revenue accounting documentation
- CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification (active); Big 4 or public accounting background a strong plus
- Strong systems proficiency; Stripe, Metronome, HubiFi or a comparable revenue recognition tool preferred
BONUS:
- Experience with consumption/usage-based and subscription billing models
- Familiarity with ASC 326 (CECL) and AR accounting in a high-volume SaaS context
- Multi-entity or international revenue accounting background
LOCATION
This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in Central Europe or Eastern US timezones. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in London, New York and Warsaw.
