The Connectors team is the bridge between ClickHouse and the broader ecosystem. We build and maintain the integrations that make ClickHouse accessible to millions of developers, data practitioners, and AI agents worldwide, from high-level data visualization plugins (Tableau, PowerBI, Superset, Metabase) to connectors for data frameworks (Apache Spark, Flink, Kafka Connect, Fivetran), orchestration platforms, and AI tooling.
Our work directly shapes how companies process massive datasets: real-time analytics platforms that ingest millions of events per second, observability systems that monitor global infrastructure, and, increasingly, AI-powered data applications that redefine how teams work with data. We collaborate closely with the open-source community, internal teams, and enterprise users to ensure ClickHouse integrations set the standard for performance, reliability, and developer experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in the AI & ML ecosystem, you'll be a core contributor owning and evolving critical parts of ClickHouse's AI ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of high-performance database engineering and developer experience. You'll craft tools that enable Engineers and Data Scientists to harness ClickHouse's speed and scale in the frameworks they already use.
We're looking for someone who has firsthand experience as an AI & MLEngineer or Data Scientist. The data practitioner's world is shifting rapidly: databases are no longer just query targets, but they're becoming active participants in AI-powered workflows, serving as vector stores for RAG pipelines, backends for LLM-powered agents, and real-time feature stores for ML inference. You understand these workflows not from the outside, but because you've operated within them. You don't just build integrations, you bring product-level insight into what we should build and why.
You'll own the full lifecycle of key AI/ML integrations, driving architecture, performance, and feature direction across AI & LLM Ecosystem: LangChain, LlamaIndex, n8n, and broader AI tooling: embedding pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation with ClickHouse as a vector store, ML feature stores, and LLM-powered data applications.
ClickHouse's columnar architecture and query performance make it exceptionally well-positioned in this new landscape. Your job is to make that potential real: building the robust, production-ready connectors that make ClickHouse the natural choice when data practitioners design their next-generation AI and data systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and evolve ClickHouse's Python connector and SDK ecosystem, raising the bar on performance, reliability, and API design
- Drive the AI/LLM integration strategy: designing connectors and patterns that make ClickHouse a natural fit in RAG architectures, ML feature pipelines, and LLM-powered data applications
- Engage actively with the open-source community: triage issues, support contributors, advocate for users, and shape the roadmap based on real-world feedback
- Collaborate with Product, Cloud, and other engineering teams to align integration work with broader platform priorities
- Bring a practitioner's perspective to roadmap decisions, grounding prioritization in genuine Data Engineer and Data Scientist workflows
ABOUT YOU
- 7+ years of software development experience, including hands-on time as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer
- Deep, proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade Python connectors, SDKs, or integrations for at least one major platform (orchestration, BI, MLOps, or data transformation)
- Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in production data-engineering contexts: embedding generation, vector search, feature pipelines, or LLM-powered tooling that shipped and ran in production
- Solid experience with the Python data ecosystem: Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic, and related libraries
- Strong database fundamentals: SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and familiarity with OLAP/analytical databases
- Solid experience with concurrent Python: threading, multiprocessing, and async patterns
- Outstanding written and verbal communication; comfortable collaborating across engineering functions and with open-source communities
Bonus points for:
- Prior experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist in a product-facing or platform role
- Familiarity with ClickHouse or similar high-performance OLAP platforms
- Familiarity with the JVM ecosystem
- Experience deploying AI/ML models in production, including inference APIs and vector databases
- Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect is a plus

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are looking for a threat intel manager to build and run our Model Exploitation & Fraud team within Threat Intelligence. This team detects, investigates, and disrupts the large-scale exploitation of Anthropic's AI systems. Model distillation, unauthorized access, account farming and reseller abuse, and fraud and scam operations.
You will set the strategy for the mission area, hire and lead a small team of technical investigators, and build the systems, processes, and partnerships that let the team scale. The team includes established senior investigators who own our deepest technical casework, tracing distillation networks, reseller and proxy ecosystems, and financially motivated actors across first-party surfaces and third-party platforms; your job is to direct, resource, and amplify that work, not duplicate it. This area carries regular U.S. government engagement and requires deeply understanding external black market ecosystems and how they interact with our systems.
Important context: In this position you may be exposed to explicit content spanning a range of topics, including those of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature. This role may require responding to escalations during weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
Own strategy, priorities, and outcomes for the Model Exploitation & Fraud mission area; define what we detect, investigate, action, and share
Hire, manage, and develop a team of technical threat investigators; set the quality bar for casework and intelligence reporting
Design clear lanes between this role and the team's senior individual contributors: strategy, people leadership, and program ownership sit with you, while ownership of the deepest technical investigations and tradecraft stays with the senior experts closest to the work
Capable of independently leading complex investigations.
Direct, prioritize, and resource complex investigations into model distillation, unauthorized AI R&D usage, unauthorized access, coordinated account abuse, and fraud/scam networks, partnering with the senior investigators who lead the deepest technical casework and clearing blockers from their path
Drive the redesign of triage for a very high-volume detection pipeline: partner with investigators and engineering to build abuse signals, clustering, and agentic investigation workflows that separate sophisticated actors from noise
Expand the team's coverage into fraud and scams, building the detection and investigation playbooks from the ground up
Own the external engagement program for the area, including regular intelligence sharing with U.S. government partners and industry peers, ensuring the investigators driving the work are visible in those channels
Anticipate how resellers, proxies, and third-party platforms change the abuse surface, and shape coverage accordingly
Work with policy, enforcement, and engineering to convert findings into bans, product mitigations, and safety-by-design improvements
Define and report the team's metrics; brief Safeguards and company leadership on the threat landscape
Minimum qualifications
Have led and managed investigative, fraud, platform integrity, or threat intelligence teams, ideally ones built around senior, deeply specialized individual contributors
Have strong domain fluency in scaled abuse — fraud patterns, account abuse, unauthorized access, or platform exploitation economics — sufficient to set priorities, pressure-test findings, and earn the confidence of expert investigators
Are proficient enough in SQL and Python to review data-heavy casework, pressure-test conclusions, and provide surge capacity when the team needs it
Have experience overseeing investigations that track threat actors across surface, deep, and dark web environments, including reseller and access-broker communities
Have working familiarity with large language models and a strong grasp of how models can be distilled, extracted, or exploited at scale
Have built processes, detection systems, or programs from scratch and can show what changed because of them
Communicate crisply with executives, engineers, and external partners alike
Preferred qualifications
Experience at a major technology platform on trust and safety, fraud, or abuse investigations at scale
Background in financial crime investigation or fraud analytics
Experience working directly with U.S. government stakeholders on threat reporting
A track record of partnering with, growing, and retaining senior technical specialists, including defining clear scope between management and senior IC tracks
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and/or Russian with nuanced regional and geopolitical context
Active Top Secret security clearance
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$375,000
—
$455,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We are looking for a Security Software Engineer, Detection & Response, to build the telemetry, logging, and response systems for our Detection & Response team. This is a builder role, not a queue-triage role. You will build detection and response as software across a multi-cloud fleet of servers, containers, and endpoints, and test where AI and agents can safely take work off responders. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, New York City, or London, with three days a week in the office.
What you’ll do
Deploy and operate telemetry at fleet scale with osquery and extended Berkeley Packet Filter (eBPF) sensors across servers, containers, and endpoints, and own performance overhead, staged rollouts, canaries, and rollbacks

ABOUT YOU
Xsolla seeks a security engineer to join a new security team during a critical build-out phase. You work across application security and infrastructure security - reviewing code, hardening cloud environments, supporting incident response, and partnering with engineering teams to improve security posture across the company.
This is a generalist role well-suited to an early-team hire. You are comfortable working across domains rather than specializing in one, and you grow into deeper expertise as the team and program mature. You collaborate closely with the security program manager and work directly with engineering teams on secure design, findings, and remediation.
Our tech stack includes GCP, vSphere/ESX, Kubernetes and container workloads, MariaDB, CockroachDB, Go, PHP, and Python. You do not need expertise in all of these, but you are comfortable navigating a mixed environment and learning what you need.
As always true in job descriptions, there is an intangible value that is hard to capture. We look for a diverse set of perspectives and skills. Even if you don't match every requirement, we encourage you to apply if you think you can be highly successful in this role.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an Operations Engineer who is technically curious, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and proactive to join our Global Technical Operations (GTO) team. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to monitor and investigate production issues across a global platform, help improve how we detect and respond to incidents, analyze trends and patterns in production data, and contribute to better communication with partners and stakeholders during incidents.
Strong troubleshooting skills, observability platform experience, and scripting ability are essential, along with experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, or NOC environments supporting high-availability platforms in the gaming industry. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English — both written and verbal — when writing incident updates, shift handoffs, and status page communications will be key to your success in this role.
If you’re passionate about keeping critical systems running and continuously improving operational processes and love being the first to spot issues and the one who drives them to resolution for game developers and players worldwide, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary dashboard monitor during your shift — continuously watch the GTO Operational Dashboard in Datadog, detect anomalies by correlating signals across APM, logs, metrics, synthetic tests, and Real User Monitoring, and determine whether alerts warrant an incident ticket or can be resolved through immediate investigation.
Triage and investigate production incidents — create incident tickets in JIRA Service Management, perform initial technical investigation using Datadog (traces, logs, infrastructure and application metrics), determine blast radius and likely root cause domain, and route to the correct team (Product SRE, Infrastructure SRE, or Engineering) using the smart routing model.
Own lower-severity incidents end-to-end from detection through resolution — diagnose, execute runbook procedures, and resolve without escalation where possible. Escalate promptly when an incident is unresolved within defined thresholds or requires a code-level fix.
Support the TSO Lead during major incidents as the technical right hand in the war room — surface real-time data (error rates, impact scope, deployment history, related alerts), maintain the incident ticket with live timeline entries and linked evidence, and execute mitigation actions as directed.
Draft incident communications under TSO Lead direction, including internal Slack updates, stakeholder notifications, and customer-facing status page updates (status.xsolla.com). Support clear, timely communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
During non-incident periods, analyze incident trends, recurring issues, and production bugs — compile data from Datadog, JIRA, and Slack, identify patterns, and contribute findings to regular reports for product and engineering teams.
Compile incident timelines and draft initial PIR documents for Post-Incident Review preparation. Track PIR action items post-session and flag overdue items to the TSO Lead.
Build and maintain operational automation (alert enrichment scripts, incident templates, Slack workflows, dashboard widgets) and contribute to runbook development — documenting new resolution procedures so they can be repeated by any Operations Engineer on any shift.
Conduct structured shift handoffs covering active incidents, at-risk services, upcoming deployments, and follow-up items. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with SREs to continuously expand independent resolution capability.
Cover for the TSO Lead during vacations, absences, or emergencies — including severity classification, escalation decisions, stakeholder communications, and basic Incident Commander functions.
Publish health reports of critical apps periodically.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working at a gaming company is required — you understand the pace, player expectations, live operations dynamics, and the operational demands of the gaming industry.
4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, NOC, or technical operations in a high-availability environment.
Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills — ability to take an alert or user-reported symptom and methodically trace it through the stack: application logs, APM traces, infrastructure metrics, database queries, and network paths.
Hands-on experience with Datadog (or equivalent observability platform: Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Elastic) — navigating APM, building log queries, reading infrastructure dashboards, interpreting SLO burn rates, and configuring monitors and alerts.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Go, or Bash. You will write automation scripts, build operational tooling, and work with APIs.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English — ability to write incident tickets, investigation notes, Slack updates, shift handoff reports, status page communications, and PIR drafts that are clear, concise, and useful to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable) — understanding of pods, deployments, services, ingress, node health, and how to investigate Kubernetes-related production issues.
Understanding of SLOs, error budgets, and burn-rate alerting — knowing what a multi-window burn-rate alert means, how error budgets deplete, and how SLO breaches translate into incident severity.
Experience with incident management tooling: JIRA or JIRA Service Management, PagerDuty or OpsGenie, Slack, and Confluence.
Experience with or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted operations: anomaly detection, alert correlation, predictive monitoring, or automated remediation.
Comfort with 24x7 shift-based operations as part of a follow-the-sun model with handoff overlaps. Weekend on-call (rotating) is required.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Datadog Service Catalog, synthetic monitoring, and RUM (Real User Monitoring).
Experience with distributed systems debugging: tracing failures across microservices, understanding cascading failures, and reading distributed traces end-to-end.
Exposure to database operations (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka) at a level sufficient to investigate connection pool exhaustion, replication lag, slow queries, or queue backlogs during incidents.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm) — enough to correlate recent deployments with production issues and identify rollback targets.
JIRA Service Management administration experience: workflows, automation rules, SLA timers, and queues.
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus but not required — practical experience matters more.

About The Team
The Trading Strategies Mobile Team owns OKX's Trading Bot and Copy Trading experiences across iOS and Android. On the Trading Bot side we build the full suite of strategy bots (Spot & Futures Grid, Spot & Futures DCA, Recurring Buy, Smart Portfolio, Smart Arbitrage, Signal Bot, DCD, and AI-powered bots) that let millions of users automate their trading across spot and derivatives. On the Copy Trading side we let users discover top traders and automatically mirror their positions. It's a large, high-complexity mobile surface built on a shared Rust/UniFFI core, and we're actively moving performance-critical paths to Rust so the logic is shared across platforms. We care deeply about engineering quality. A big, fast-moving codebase demands high standards for architecture, stability, and performance, so we invest consistently in review rigor, knowledge-sharing, and technical training to keep raising the bar. We're also a growth team, working closely with Product and Design to ship new strategies, improve the automated trading experience, and most recently build AI-driven bot experiences. We're at an exciting inflection point, bringing AI into both our product and our engineering workflows. If you're energized by taming complexity at scale, driving technical excellence and business impact in equal measure, and shaping how automated crypto trading works for millions, this is the team to be on.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the technical architecture and delivery of the Android/iOS Trading Bot codebase as your primary focus, while also contributing to Copy Trading as our second core surface, raising code quality, stability, and performance across both and across the flows that create, manage, copy, and follow strategies.
Lead large-scale technical initiatives end to end, from the Kotlin/Swift-to-Rust/UniFFI migration to modularization and binary-compatibility discipline across the Trading Bot and shared-core repositories, and the work to cut crash, ANR, and startup hotspots.
Join product requirement discussions, shape well-reasoned technical solutions, and protect product performance, stability, and user experience.
Partner with product and business to drive the Trading Bot roadmap, from new strategy types to sharing, attribution, and growth features, to AI-powered bot experiences, turning technical leverage into business impact.
Stay close to industry trends, keep refining the technical architecture, and grow the team's engineering capabilities through training and knowledge-sharing.
Mentor engineers and lead by influence, lifting the whole team's technical proficiency.
Lead the team in exploring the integration of AI into business scenarios, driving product and technology innovation.
What We Look For In You
Staff/Principal level Android/iOS expertise.
8+ years building and shipping production Android/iOS apps, with deep Kotlin and a strong command of multi-module architecture, dependency and binary-compatibility constraints, and platform performance (ANR, crash, startup, memory).
A track record of leading mid to large projects end to end.
You hold a high bar for architecture and engineering quality, and you've raised that bar on a large, legacy-heavy codebase with results to show for it.
Technical strategy paired with business sense.
You can set technical direction and work with product to turn it into roadmap and revenue. You own outcomes, not just code.
A trading or fintech background.
Client-side experience at a crypto exchange, brokerage, or fintech app, with familiarity in core domains like order placement, market data, and asset management. Automated or algorithmic trading is a strong plus.
Influence and mentorship.
You make the engineers around you better through review, design guidance, and knowledge-sharing, and you build alignment across teams without leaning on authority.
Nice-To-Haves
Cross-language or Rust experience.
Rust, UniFFI/FFI, or iOS Swift/Obj-C, and comfort owning a shared cross-platform core.
Automated-trading domain depth.
Hands-on with trading bots, grid or DCA strategies, perpetuals and derivatives, copy or social trading, or market-making and arbitrage, or trading in general.
AI engineering experience.
LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, RAG, or agent workflows, and an eye for bringing AI into both the product and the engineering workflow.
Performance and reliability tooling.
APM, tracing, and crash or ANR triage at scale.
Scaled
CI/CD
.
Experience with large monorepo or multi-module release systems, such as MMR-style merge pipelines.
Client-side team leadership.
You've mentored or led a client-side team and can drive cross-team collaboration and technical review.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
THE MISSION
The Foundry is ClickUp's internal AI innovation lab — embedded inside GTM Systems and accountable for turning AI capabilities into production-grade, internally deployed products that make every GTM function faster and smarter. We build the infrastructure that powers AI-first work across Sales, Marketing, Post-Sales, and Revenue Operations.
As the Senior Software Engineer on this team you will own the technical delivery of our MCP server platform, agent orchestration layer, and internal tooling — shipping production systems used daily by hundreds of ClickUp employees, and scaling your own throughput by treating AI tools as first-class engineering collaborators.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
MCP SERVER PLATFORM
- Design, build, and operate Model Context Protocol servers that expose CRM, ticketing, analytics, and communication data to AI agents across the GTM stack
- Implement Okta PKCE authentication flows and RBAC policy enforcement so agents access only the data they're authorized to touch
- Maintain deployment infrastructure on AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway) and contribute to GCP workloads where applicable
- Own observability: structured logging, distributed tracing, latency SLOs, and on-call runbooks for every production server
AGENT ORCHESTRATION & AI-NATIVE PRODUCTS
- Build and maintain multi-step autonomous agents that execute end-to-end GTM workflows — lead qualification, deal room assembly, onboarding automation, support triage, and more
- Architect prompt engineering frameworks, tool-call schemas, and agent evaluation harnesses that make AI behavior predictable and auditable
- Integrate with LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock AgentCore) and maintain version-pinned, cost-tracked model configurations
- Deliver AI-powered internal applications (web apps, CLI tools, Slack integrations) that non-technical GTM stakeholders use without friction
GTM PLATFORM ENGINEERING
- Own full-stack feature delivery across TypeScript/Node.js backends and React/TypeScript frontends for internal tooling
- Write Python automation scripts, ETL pipelines, and data transformation layers that feed GTM analytics and AI context
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering and GTM Engineering teams on cross-cutting API standards, data contracts, and integration patterns
- Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, and actively mentor junior engineers toward higher leverage
AI-NATIVE DEVELOPMENT PRACTICE
- Use AI coding assistants (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as primary engineering accelerators — not supplements — to ship at a pace that punches above a single engineer's weight
- Document AI usage patterns, prompt templates, and agentic workflows so the team's collective throughput compounds
- Stay current on MCP protocol evolution, agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, custom), and emerging LLM capabilities; bring back what matters
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems
- Expert-level TypeScript and Node.js — idiomatic, typed, testable server-side code
- Strong Python — automation scripts, data pipelines, and scripting for AI/ML tooling
- Meaningful AWS deployment experience: Lambda, Bedrock, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, IAM, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch
- Demonstrated experience integrating with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent) and shipping AI-powered features to real users
- Solid foundation in REST API design, OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication, and secure credential management
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK, or SAM), and cloud cost awareness
- Clear written communication: design docs, ADRs, and runbooks that others actually read
- Track record of using AI tools (LLM assistants, copilots, agentic workflows) as a genuine productivity multiplier — not a gimmick
STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) — building servers, defining tool schemas, or operating multi-server agent environments
- GCP experience (Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Functions) to complement AWS work
- Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM API integration work — understanding GTM data models is a significant advantage
- React or Next.js front-end capability to ship internal dashboards and tooling without hand-offs
- Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks: LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom orchestration patterns
- Experience in a GTM Systems, RevOps, or Sales Engineering context
- Okta / identity provider integration work (PKCE flows, SCIM, token management)
HOW WE OPERATE
The Foundry runs on three principles that every team member is expected to embody:
- Ownership — You own the full lifecycle of what you build: design, delivery, observability, and iteration. We don't have a separate ops hand-off.
- Velocity — We ship to production in days, not quarters. AI tools are how we maintain that pace without sacrificing quality.
- Atomicity — Every deliverable is a discrete, composable unit — an MCP server, an agent, an API. Nothing we build requires everything else to work.
WHO THRIVES HERE
This role is a strong fit if you are genuinely excited to work at the intersection of AI infrastructure and internal product — not just as a user of AI, but as someone building the layer that makes AI useful for an entire go-to-market organization. You are comfortable with ambiguity, you default to shipping, and you see every piece of internal tooling as a product that deserves operational discipline.
This role is not a fit if you need heavily defined requirements before starting work, prefer long planning cycles to iterative delivery, or view AI tools as optional extras rather than core to how you operate.

What The Role Is
As a
Staff Engineer
at Babylist, you own some of our hardest domains and decide where they go. Millions of families depend on what we build. Agents write most of the code now. So the hard part is yours: what to build, how it should work and whether what shipped was right. You're still in the code for the genuinely hard problems. Agents handle the volume. You spend your time on the parts that need a person. We're building well beyond the registry now: the financial side of raising a kid, maternal health made simpler and more human, the education new parents are looking for and the community around them. The hard problems run across all of it, plus the platform underneath and the AI we already ship to families.
You'll own a big piece of the product, but you won't be boxed into it. The roadmap is open. You have a say in which bets we make, and you pick what you take on next.
What You'll Own
A Staff Engineer here sets direction. You own a domain: a product surface, a platform area or a capability that cuts across several teams. You set where it's going over the next year or two, sequence the bets that get there and make the technical and product calls along the way. You're still in the code. We don't have architects who've stopped building. If you stepped away, multiple teams would feel it. Your influence shows up in the systems and the work other teams choose to build on. You don't need direct reports to have that reach. It comes from what you build.
In practice, you:
Take a fuzzy business problem from the first sketch through to production, and stay on the hook for whether it actually helped customers.
Build the platform or tooling other teams adopt by choice, and own it as it scales.
Make the architecture calls that span teams and the ones that are expensive to reverse.
Set the standard for how your domain builds with AI. Decide what good looks like, build the patterns and evals that get agents there and catch the output that's confidently wrong before it ships.
Partner with product, design and data as a peer, shaping what's worth building from the start.
Coach Senior engineers through the hard calls, the ambiguous ones as much as the technical ones.
A few problems people at this level are working on right now:
Resolving one customer across registry, shop and health, plus the friends and family buying for them, so personalization works everywhere without each team rebuilding it.
Designing the knowledge system our coding agents reliably load, and working out how much context actually helps before it starts to hurt.
Building Early Investor, our new family finance product, from scratch, on a deadline that can't move.
Who You Are
You've shipped production systems for enough years to have earned strong opinions, and you hold them loosely. You can pick up an ambiguous problem and start moving before anyone hands you the full picture. You've already changed how a team builds with AI, and the new way stuck. Most Staff engineers lean one of two ways, and both do well here. Some point their depth at the systems everyone runs on: the platforms, the reliability and security bar, the harnesses that make AI produce good code. Others point it at the customer: framing the problem with PMs as peers, owning a journey end to end, deciding what to build and learning whether it worked. You don't have to be both. You do have to be excellent at one and fluent in the other.
A few things that tend to be true of people who thrive here:
You measure yourself by impact: a customer outcome, or a system a dozen teams come to depend on.
You're curious: you spot problems before they're filed and push your own ideas until they ship.
Compensation
We post real numbers. For a US-based Staff Engineer, the starting base salary range is $233,500 to $290,700, plus a target annual bonus of 20 percent of base. That's total target cash of roughly $280,200 to $348,840. On top of that you get meaningful equity and a 401(k) match. Where you start in that range depends on your experience, and your pay grows from there with performance and scope.
How We Build
AI is the default here. Engineers run agentic sessions for most of the work, and a lot of the interesting engineering now lives in the scaffolding that makes the agents good: the eval harnesses, the curated context, custom review skills and fast CI. Agents also triage incidents and handle a big share of support. A human always owns the outcome.
The architecture is intentionally simple: one Rails monolith, MySQL and few moving parts. That's deliberate. Simple infrastructure lets us move fast and lets AI reason about the whole system, so the hardest problems are the ones in front of customers.

Why Babylist
An engineer, expecting her first baby, couldn't find the registry she wanted. So she built it. That's how Babylist started, and it's still how we work: engineers solving problems for families. Becoming a parent is one of the biggest moments in a person's life. Millions reach it for the first time every year, making thousands of decisions and figuring it out as they go. That's who we build for, and we're a long way from done.
Ten million people give gifts through Babylist every year. We did more than $750M in revenue in 2025, up 45 percent over the year before, and we've been profitable for eight years while staying independent. So you can take on a hard, multi-year problem without watching over your shoulder for the next round or the next correction. And the team is small, around 65 engineers, so what you ship stays visible and your scope stays wide.
How We Work
Remote-first across the US and Canada, and we have been for years. That's not changing. We trust you to own your time and your outcomes, and we get everyone in a room together twice a year. Teams are small, pods of three to five engineers, so nothing you ship disappears into a committee. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with product, design and data, and with the partners across the business who rely on what you ship. You'll also stay close to customers yourself: sitting in on user interviews, watching session recordings, riding along with support. Here that's part of the engineering job, on a regular basis.
How We Hire
Three rounds, usually two to three weeks start to finish.
Recruiter conversation (30 minutes).
Trade context: what you want next, what we're building and straight answers on comp, team and remote.
Technical screen (1 hour).
One round, no AI, language-agnostic. Reach for Google when you normally would. We just want to see how you reason from first principles.
Final round (4 hours).
Four one-hour interviews: system design, AI-assisted coding with the tools you'd actually use here, product sense and culture and values. You'll hear back either way within 24 to 48 hours.
If your timeline is tight, tell us and we'll move faster.
