About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About The Role:
We are looking for a
Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer
to join our Professional Services team. This role is focused on working directly alongside developer teams in our most strategic enterprise customers to drive transformational outcomes across frontend modernization, platform migrations, and AI adoption.
In this role, you will lead complex Next.js migrations, architect high-performance applications, and build production AI solutions - all within customer environments. You'll work hands-on-keyboard alongside customer teams, whether you're migrating a legacy React application to App Router, conducting a deep-dive code audit, or deploying production agents using Vercel's eve framework and AI SDK.
Our Forward-Deployed Engineers operate with high agency and autonomy. You'll navigate ambiguous enterprise environments, assess technical debt, design migration strategies, and deliver measurable business value - all while building long-term relationships that expand our partnership with each customer.
There are two main profiles for this role: Next.js experts, and AI builders. Next.js experts work on deep customer code optimization, performance audits, AEO and SEO, and teaching customers how to build Next.js apps with AI instrumentation - such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc with Next.js and Vercel agent skills. The AI builder profile is less focused on deep Next.js experience, and more on identifying, evangelizing, and building AI applications and agentic workflows. Your job in this role will be to understand customers’ businesses, scope, design, and build AI agents, and prove their value. The two profiles are not mutually exclusive and we appreciate expertise in both.
You will report to the Global Manager of Forward Deployed Engineering. This role is remote-first with travel to customer sites expected occasionally. Travel requirements vary, but most of our engineers travel no more than 3-4 days every other month.
What You Will Do:
Build production AI solutions
using Vercel's
eve
framework, AI SDK, and AI Cloud infrastructure, including conversational interfaces, production agents, MCP servers, and agentic workflows that transform customer operations.
Lead complex frontend migrations -
modernizing legacy React, Vue, or other frameworks to Next.js, including Pages to App Router transitions, incremental adoption strategies, and large-scale codebase transformations. Automation of migrations is key to engineering efficiency.
Conduct code audits and help analyze and improve website performance
, analyzing customer codebases for performance bottlenecks, architectural anti-patterns, and optimization opportunities - delivering actionable roadmaps that drive measurable improvements.
Architect and implement high-performance Next.js applications
, leveraging App Router, Server Components, streaming, ISR, and advanced rendering strategies to meet enterprise scale and performance requirements.
Embed with strategic customers
to build production applications - working within their systems, understanding their constraints, and shipping TypeScript code that goes live.
Drive enablement and knowledge transfer
through workshops, pair programming, and documentation - ensuring customer teams can extend and maintain solutions independently.
Navigate complex enterprise environments
by building relationships with stakeholders across engineering, product, and executive teams - translating technical capabilities into business outcomes.
Contribute to our service evolution
by identifying repeatable patterns, building reusable components, and sharing implementation insights back to Product and Engineering teams.
About You:
6+ years of experience
in software engineering with at least 2 years in a customer-facing technical role (consulting, solutions architecture, forward deployed engineering, or technical founder experience).
Experience using AI instrumentation
such as harnesses, skills, and MCPs to build and deploy web applications, backend systems, and/or agentic workflows.
High agency with comfort in ambiguity -
you thrive when given a problem to solve rather than a task to complete, and you can navigate complex organizations to create a plan and drive a project.
Exceptional communication skills
with the ability to conduct technical discovery, present to executives, mentor engineers, and build lasting customer relationships - all with a low-ego, collaborative approach.
Business acumen
to understand customer objectives, translate technical capabilities into ROI, and identify expansion opportunities throughout engagement lifecycles.
Willingness to travel
occasionally to customer sites for embedded work and relationship building.
Next.js-focused Candidates:
Expert-level TypeScript skills -
You are fluent in TypeScript and have strong opinions on type safety, patterns, and tooling.
Deep expertise in Next.js
, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex applications using App Router, Server Components, server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and incremental static regeneration (ISR), and personalization.
Demonstrated experience leading frontend migrations -
you've converted legacy applications to Next.js, navigated incremental adoption strategies, and understand the challenges of migrating large codebases in production environments.
Mastery of React
and its ecosystem, including advanced state management, performance optimization, and modern patterns like streaming, suspense, and concurrent features.
AI-focused Candidates:
Production experience with LLMs and AI applications
, including agent development, cloud sandbox & filesystem agent patterns, human-in-the-loop patterns, and value optimization. Familiarity with Vercel's eve framework and AI SDK is strongly preferred.
Ability to identify business cases for AI agents
- many customers need guidance not only on how to build AI agents, but where and why to use AI. You’ll need to listen and understand a day-in-the-life of customers’ teams to build proposals.
Bonus if you:
Have led enterprise AI transformation initiatives, including building production agents that automated manual processes or replaced legacy systems.
Have taught others how to develop software using AI, best practices for building agents, harnesses, skills, and MCPs.
Have led large-scale migrations from legacy frameworks (Create React App, Gatsby, custom webpack setups) to Next.js in enterprise environments.
Have expertise in performance optimization and Core Web Vitals, with experience diagnosing and fixing LCP, CLS, and INP issues at scale.
Have contributed to the Next.js, React, or AI SDK open-source projects, or maintain popular related libraries.
Have experience with enterprise deployment patterns including security reviews, compliance requirements, and multi-region architectures.
Have a background in financial services, healthcare, retail/e-commerce, or media - industries with complex frontend ecosystems and growing AI adoption.
Have spoken at conferences or published thought leadership on frontend architecture, migrations, or AI applications.
Benefits:
Great compensation package and stock options.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off - Flexible vacation policy with a recommended 4-weeks per year, and paid holidays.
Remote Friendly - Work with teammates from different time zones across the globe.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
About the role 💭
We're at an inflection point for what it means to build for developers and agents. The way engineers discover, integrate, and work with APIs is changing fast, and we're actively building the infrastructure to meet that shift.
Developers still integrate WorkOS, but increasingly their agents do it for them. This team owns every way into WorkOS that isn't the dashboard: SDKs in 9 languages, now generated from our API spec; an AI installer CLI that sets up AuthKit in any project; our MCP servers and agent skills; and other not released projects we're building in-house. You'd ship daily with agents as collaborators, and your code goes into other people's apps. The roadmap comes from watching real integrations: friction logs, shared customer Slack channels and telemetry.
The goal is that when a developer (or their agent) needs enterprise-ready auth, WorkOS is the easiest path forward regardless of stack, language, or how they're building.
What you'll work on
- Ship agent tools and skills so developers (and their agents) can integrate WorkOS without friction
- Write evaluations to measure whether what you ship actually improves developer outcomes
- Talk to customers, surface insights, and translate them into roadmap
- Contribute to the architecture and tooling for fully generated, polyglot SDK pipelines — so a change to the API propagates cleanly across all languages
- Own and evolve SDKs across our seven supported languages (Node/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go, Java, PHP, .NET) and framework libraries like our Next.js, Remix, and TanStack integrations
- Build and extend AI-native documentation systems as structured context that makes WorkOS work well in Cursor, Claude, Copilot, and agentic workflows
- Represent WorkOS publicly through docs, blog posts, OSS, and occasional conference appearances
- Build developer tooling like the WorkOS CLI that make complex integrations feel trivial
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of software development experience with a real track record of shipping and maintaining SDKs or OSS projects
- Deep fluency in at least three of our supported languages; you should have strong opinions about what idiomatic code looks like in each
- Experience with or genuine excitement about AI-native tooling: agent SDKs, context engineering, evals, LLM-powered CLIs
- Interest in documentation as infrastructure, not just prose
- Strong instincts for what makes a developer experience good vs. merely functional
- Experience owning projects end-to-end and driving decisions based on customer impact
Benefits and Perks (US Only) 💖
At WorkOS, we offer resources that emphasize personal and familial well-being. We offer healthcare coverage for you and your family, including medical, dental, and vision. We offer parental leave, paid-time off and fully remote working arrangements.
- 401k matching

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 8+ years as an HRBP or People Partner in a high-growth, fast-paced tech environment.
- Business & AI Fluency: Technical and AI-savvy. You speak the language of engineers and researchers and are an early adopter of AI tools to up-level your own productivity.
- Strategic Influence: A truth-teller with the confidence to push back on senior leaders and the EQ to do it effectively.
- Data-Driven: You don't rely just on gut feel. You use data to tell stories, identify trends, and back up your recommendations.
- Precision Communication: A master of high-stakes communication. You can draft a Slack message, a 1-pager, or a board slide that is clear, concise, and persuasive.
- Resilient Hustle: You thrive in the grey of a startup and manage multiple high-priority work streams without losing focus. You identify organizational gaps and build solutions without waiting for a ticket.
COMPENSATION
- Annual salary range: $160,000 - $230,000
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. ABOUT THE TEAM
The Deployed Engineering team works directly with companies building and running AI agents in production, helping turn ideas and prototypes into systems teams can rely on.
This is a hands-on, highly technical team that partners closely with customer engineers across the full lifecycle, from pre-sales evaluations to post-deployment advisory work. The focus is on achieving the technical win, co-designing agent architectures, and helping customers operate agents reliably at scale using the LangChain suite.
Deployed Engineers sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market, shaping how LangChain is adopted in the field and feeding real-world insights back into the platform.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Deployed Engineer…You’ll work on some of the hardest problems in applied AI — not demos, not research, but systems that real teams depend on in production. The feedback loop is fast, the impact is visible, and the work you do directly shapes how AI agents are built in the real world.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams
- Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs, answering deep technical questions, and guiding evaluations
- Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications such as conversational agents, research agents, and multi-step workflows
- Advise customers post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap-level decisions
- Run technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences
- Surface field feedback and contribute reusable patterns, cookbooks, and example code that scale across customers
- Occasionally contribute code upstream when it meaningfully improves customer outcomes
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, founding/product engineering), ideally in a startup or scale-up
- Strong Python, JavaScript and systems fundamentals
- Have designed agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls, including multi-step workflows, orchestration, and failure handling
- Are comfortable working directly with customers during POCs, architecture reviews, and technical evaluations
- Can explain technical tradeoffs clearly and build trust with developer audiences
- Take responsibility for outcomes, not just recommendations
- Have a bias toward action and enjoy figuring things out as you go
- Are excited about operating AI agents in production, not just building demos
NICE TO HAVE’S
- You’ve deployed AI agents in production, especially using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- Worked with LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails
- Have experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Have shipped and operated production software and are comfortable owning systems under real-world constraints
Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.
BENEFITS
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp's Strategic Enterprise CSMs don't manage accounts — they transform how companies run their finances. This is a role for people who have been inside large organizations when change was hard, who speak the language of a CFO, and who already use AI the way surgeons use instruments: not occasionally, not as an experiment, but as the default way they work. You'll be embedded in Ramp's largest, most strategic enterprise accounts, responsible for driving genuine workflow transformation — not just onboarding completion.
What You'll Do
- Lead enterprise customers through the full transformation journey — from implementation through agentic workflow adoption — with clear accountability for time-to-value and measurable business outcomes
- Build and own the change management strategy for each account: map stakeholders, diagnose resistance, build internal coalitions, and drive adoption past the finish line
- Quantify and communicate Ramp's impact in the language CFOs and Controllers care about — close cycle improvement, spend visibility, variance reduction, and ROI — not just product usage metrics
- Run executive-level stakeholder management across multiple layers of a customer org, including C-suite relationships you own independently
- Use AI tools daily to prepare for customer calls, build materials, synthesize data, identify account risk, and operate at a pace traditional methods can't match
- Help customers understand and adopt Ramp's agentic finance capabilities — positioning new workflows not as features, but as fundamental changes to how their finance team operates
- Partner with Account Executives and Technical Consulting to deliver seamless implementations and expand Ramp's footprint within accounts
- Bring customer insight back to Product — surfacing patterns, gaps, and opportunities from your accounts to shape how Ramp evolves
Must-Haves
- Enterprise change management — You've driven workflow adoption inside complex organizations, navigated real resistance from real stakeholders, and have measurable results to show for it. Finance or fintech context is a plus but not required.
- AI fluency as a daily habit — You already use AI tools habitually in your work. You use them to prep for calls, synthesize information, build customer-facing materials, and automate repetitive tasks. This is how you work, not something you're exploring. Ramp is a builder culture: if you don't instinctively reach for AI before doing things manually, this role will be a hard adjustment.
- Financial impact communication — You can walk a CFO through the business case for a workflow change, connect implementation milestones to P&L outcomes, and run executive updates in financial terms, not product terms. A finance background is not required — fluency is.
- Technical acumen — You can hold your own in conversations with Product and Engineering on integrations, APIs, and workflow architecture. You don't need to code, but credibility in technical conversations is what earns you a seat at the table with the full customer stakeholder group.
- 7+ years in enterprise customer success or implementations — You’ve spent enough time navigating complex organizations and senior stakeholders that it’s second nature. You know how to move an enterprise, not just support one.
Nice-to-Haves
- Agentic workflow experience — You've helped customers adopt AI-powered or agentic workflows at scale. You understand what friction looks like in practice and what makes transformation actually stick.
- Finance domain depth — Exposure to FP&A, accounting software ecosystems (Netsuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero), expense management, or CFO-adjacent workflows. Accelerates credibility with Ramp's customer base.
- Demonstrated commercial impact — You can point to expansion, retention, or time-to-value outcomes with specific metrics attached — not described in general terms.
- Background at an AI-first or AI transformation company — not just a company that uses AI, but one where rethinking workflows around it was part of the product or culture
- High-growth or startup experience (comfort operating in ambiguity and rapid change)
- C-suite relationships built and maintained independently, without relying on a sales counterpart

Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
About the role
WorkOS has a strong bottoms-up, developer-focused GTM motion, and we’re growing our lean sales team to complement it. We’re hiring Account Executives across several experience levels, from AEs with 2 years of closing experience to seasoned sellers with 10 years of experience.
Our customers range from AI-native startups to large enterprise organizations. We don’t have formal sales segmentation: customer coverage is fluid, and you’ll work across a range of company sizes, technical needs, and buying processes. Your scope and expectations will reflect your experience, with opportunities to contribute beyond a narrowly defined territory or segment.
You’ll build relationships with technical leaders, understand what their teams are building, and help them evaluate how WorkOS can simplify enterprise integrations and support their growth. This is a consultative, technically engaged sales role with room to experiment, shape our sales motion, and build processes from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify, qualify and close high potential customers and foster internal technical champions by building a delightful customer journey tailored to a technical audience/preferences of a technical buyer
- Experimentation: Test outreach, messaging, and sales approaches across our customer base. Share what works and help develop repeatable practices.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, engineering) to develop sales strategies, communicate customer feedback, and ensure customer success.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate opportunity records and forecasts, clearly communicating progress, risks, and next steps.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, WorkOS product developments, and competitor offerings to position yourself as a trusted advisor to potential customers.
- Reporting: Regularly provide feedback and updates to the leadership team on key accounts, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Closing experience: Approximately 2–10 years of quota-carrying Account Executive experience closing B2B SaaS or other technical products. We’re hiring at multiple levels and will evaluate experience accordingly.
- Enviroment experience: Early-stage or high-growth companies, developer tools, infrastructure, or product-led growth motions.
- Track record: Demonstrated success against sales targets and ownership of opportunities through close. More experienced candidates should bring experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Technical aptitude: Curiosity about how software is built and the ability to learn technical products, ask thoughtful questions, and earn credibility with engineering leaders.
- Communication: Strong discovery, listening, and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ownership: Comfort working on a lean team with evolving priorities, fluid customer coverage, and processes that are still being built.
- Collaboration: A resourceful, team-oriented approach to solving problems and moving opportunities forward.
- Organization: Strong pipeline discipline and proficiency with CRM tools.
- Bonus: Familiarity with identity and access management products such as SSO, Directory Sync, or Audit Logs.

About the role 💭
We’re hiring an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers at WorkOS. We’re looking for a leader who is excited to manage engineers, but approaches the role as a startup founding member would.
This role is ideal for someone with a builder’s DNA and you will play a key role in shaping product decisions, driving technical strategy, and empowering your team to execute on high-impact projects.
You will also play a pivotal role in scaling the team, recruiting exceptional engineers. You’re not just excited about software—you’re obsessed with building the best developer platform.
Responsibilities ✔️
- Build and lead high-velocity teams that ship product fast and with polish
- Be deeply technical and hands-on: read the PRs, write prototypes, jump into the weeds
- Take raw ideas and turn them into working systems, even if you have to duct tape the first version
- Rally your team even when there is ambiguity, setbacks, or tough customer asks—run through walls when needed
- Push for clarity, focus, and high energy in every sprint. Drive urgency without burning people out
- Drive alignment on the roadmap and become an expert on customer needs related to the product areas your team owns
- Spend time with customers and engineers alike—digging into pain points, testing assumptions, and improving the craft
- Coach, mentor, and build a team of curious, scrappy, driven engineers—people who want to grow fast and build great things
Qualifications 🌟
- Track record of having successfully led product-focused engineering teams in high-performing organizations that shipped real impact
- You've written code at a high level, and you still love to get your hands dirty. You view leadership as an amplifier, not a step back
- Bias for action and scrappiness: You don’t over-optimize for process. You optimize for velocity, customer value, and learning
- You deeply care about the developer experience. You think about UX, APIs, performance, edge cases, and joy
- You ask "why" obsessively, and you push yourself (and your team) to learn constantly
- You build trust, give direct feedback, and create space for engineers to thrive
- You have experience partnering with internal recruiting teams to drive effective and fair hiring processes. You realize that recruiting is a large (and important!) part of your role. A track record of recruiting, hiring, and mentoring top engineering talent.

About the Site Reliability Engineering Team
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team ensures the WorkOS platform remains fast, reliable, and resilient at scale. We build the systems and practices that keep everything running smoothly—handling hundreds of millions of requests, minimizing downtime, and continuously improving service performance. Our team works across the stack and collaborates closely with infrastructure and product engineering teams. We embed reliability into everything we do—whether it’s designing scalable systems, improving observability, or leading incident response. If you’re motivated by complex systems, passionate about uptime and performance, and excited to make reliability a first-class concern—this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for engineers who are excited to improve the reliability of complex systems and enjoy digging into how things work. As an early member of the SRE team, you’ll help shape our approach to reliability at scale and collaborate closely across the company. You might be a great fit if you:
- Bring a generalist mindset and are comfortable working across infrastructure layers—from compute and networking to storage, databases, and app runtime environments
- Are curious and proactive, with a strong desire to understand systems end-to-end and uncover hidden failure modes
- Care deeply about uptime, observability, and performance, and see reliability as a product feature
- Think through architectural trade-offs with reliability, simplicity, and maintainability in mind
- Take initiative, work independently, and follow through—from identifying reliability risks to driving improvements
- Collaborate well with engineers across disciplines and enjoy supporting teams through production readiness, incident response, and postmortem reviews
Responsibilities ✔️
- Design and evolve the systems, tooling, and processes that improve the reliability and performance of WorkOS
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to ensure services are production-ready, observable, and resilient to failure
- Define and measure SLIs/SLOs to guide reliability improvements
- Write and optimize backend systems (in TypeScript) with a focus on performance, maintainability, and graceful degradation
- Improve our incident response process, lead postmortems, and drive follow-through on reliability risks
- Develop internal tools and automations that make it easier to operate and scale our systems
- Participate in our on-call rotation—responding to, resolving, and learning from production incidents
- Contribute to design and architecture discussions with a focus on operability and long-term sustainability
- Document systems, share learnings, and help grow a reliability-minded engineering culture
Qualifications 🌟
- Based in PST/PDT timezone
- Experience operating and scaling production systems in cloud environments (we use AWS)
- Familiarity with service reliability concepts—monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis
- Comfort working across infrastructure layers (e.g. compute, networking, storage, observability tooling)
- Strong debugging and systems thinking skills—you can follow problems across services and layers
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects from problem discovery through resolution
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems
- Exposure to observability stacks (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
- Exposure to TypeScript or interest in working in a TypeScript-based codebase

About the role 💭
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As an outbound-focused BDR, you'll play a crucial role in WorkOS's growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects in the enterprise and mid-market segments. You'll be selling a developer-first product to technical buyers — and you'll use AI tooling to do it at a scale a traditional BDR can't match. Your primary goal will be to generate new opportunities through outbound outreach, research, and strategic engagement with target accounts.
Responsibilities ✔️
- Creative Outbound Prospecting: Generate new leads through targeted outbound activities, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events and other channels. We are looking for resourcefulness and innovation crafting new outbound strategies.
- AI-Powered Workflows: Use LLMs and AI tooling to research accounts, personalize outreach at scale, and automate the repetitive parts of the job. We expect you to build your own workflows — not just use the ones handed to you.
- Account Research: Research and identify key prospects, decision-makers, and stakeholders within target accounts to tailor your outreach efforts. Understand what a company is actually building — their stack, their auth setup, their scaling problems.
- Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, business needs, and how WorkOS can help solve their challenges, qualifying them for the sales team.
- Pipeline Development: Set up high-quality meetings and demos for Account Executives by nurturing leads through the sales funnel.
- CRM Hygiene: Diligently log all prospecting activities, conversations, and pipeline data in Salesforce (or other CRM systems) to maintain accurate records and forecast pipeline health.
- Metrics-Driven: Meet and exceed monthly quotas for outbound activities, including the number of meetings set, emails sent, calls made, and qualified opportunities created.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, WorkOS product developments, competitor offerings, and what's changing in AI and developer tooling — so you can position yourself as a trusted advisor to technical buyers.
Qualifications 🌟
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a business development, sales development, or outbound sales role, preferably in SaaS or a technical product company
- Target Personas: Experience outbounding to cofounders and CTOs
- AI-Native: You already use AI tools daily and have opinions about them. You've built prompts, workflows, or automations that made you meaningfully faster — and you can walk us through exactly what you built and why.
- Writing Skills: Able to independently craft messages and campaigns to technical leaders. You use AI to draft and scale, but you have the judgment to know when the output isn't good enough to send.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft personalized messages that resonate with different audiences
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort with understanding technical products and effectively communicating the value of WorkOS to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus if you can read API docs, poke at a codebase, or have shipped something yourself.
- Tools: Experience with a modern sales stack (i.e. Salesforce, Gong, Loom, Outreach) and with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Clay
- Curiosity & Adaptability: Willingness to learn, adapt quickly to new strategies, and stay curious about the industry and your prospects' needs
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to work in a remote environment while managing your time effectively
- You are located in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, able to work locally, available for in-person meetings with clients and customers, and able to attend in-person events as needed.
