The Role
As a Lead Software Engineer in Test (SDET) at Nex, you will build the test engineering capability within Platform Software Engineering that helps us ship reliable Nex Playground experiences.
You will define and implement an automated test strategy spanning device software, cloud services, and hardware-integrated systems. From functional and regression testing to sustained device stress and cloud-scale load, you will design and build the tools, practices, and feedback loops that help engineers find problems early and release with confidence. You will lead through technical judgment, hands-on execution, and collaboration, and drive practical AI adoption in your work.
Success Looks Like
Teams can rely on fast, maintainable automated tests to detect meaningful regressions throughout development and release.
Device software, hardware-integrated systems, and cloud services are tested under realistic conditions, including sustained stress and load at scale.
Engineers can see test coverage, reliability trends, and release risks clearly, and use that information to improve products and test effectiveness.
Test tools and methods continuously improve, and platform engineers can design and build more testable systems.
What You'll Do
Test strategy and technical leadership
Own and evolve the automated test strategy for Platform Software Engineering. Prioritize coverage based on product risk and drive a high level of meaningful automated test coverage.
Define test approaches, quality criteria, and release feedback with platform engineers working on device software and cloud services.
Review and improve vendors’ test strategies and coverage, identify gaps, and work with vendors to address them.
Research, evaluate, and develop new testing techniques and tools that improve coverage, speed, and confidence.
Drive responsible, practical AI adoption in test design, automation, analysis, and engineering workflows, while maintaining human judgment and verification.
Automation and test infrastructure
Develop and operationalize functional, stress, and regression testing for software and hardware products, using both software-based and hardware-integrated techniques.
Develop and operationalize cloud service load testing using synthetic workloads and data at scale; identify bottlenecks, failure modes, and regressions.
Design, build, and evolve reusable test frameworks, harnesses, fixtures, and infrastructure that support reliable, repeatable testing across system boundaries.
Keep automated testing integral to CI/CD, with actionable feedback that engineers can use throughout development and release.
Improve product testability through better instrumentation, API design, separation of concerns, and effective use of mock objects and test data.
Define and track metrics, reports, and dashboards that show test coverage, effectiveness, reliability, and trends over time.
Engineering collaboration
Partner with platform engineers to embed quality and testability into design and delivery rather than treating testing as a final gate.
Work with platform engineers to investigate failures, identify root causes, and turn findings into product and test improvements.
Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, technical guidance, mentoring, and sharing test practices, tools, and findings with platform engineers.
Must Have
Experience setting technical direction for test engineering across teams and independently delivering work from strategy through implementation and iteration.
Strong hands-on software engineering skills, with experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks and infrastructure used by engineering teams.
Experience defining and delivering test strategies for complex software systems, including functional, regression, and stress or reliability testing.

The role
You will design, build and own the production systems behind Xero’s AI features: the services, pipelines and infrastructure that power LLM-driven and agentic experiences for millions of small businesses every day. This is a software engineering role. You’ll build and operate systems rather than train or tune models, and your architecture decisions will directly shape scale, cost, reliability and how fast our teams ship.
You don’t need a machine learning background. We’re looking for strong production engineers, ideally with experience building LLM or agentic systems, and ML depth can be learned on the team.
Beyond architecture, you’ll lift engineering capability across AI Products by setting standards, mentoring engineers and partnering across Xero to make data usable and systems dependable.
The team
You’ll join AI Products, a diverse, globally distributed team of scientists, engineers, product managers and analysts within our broader Data & AI business.
Engineers here partner closely with Applied Scientists early on to build the interfaces and harnesses that take models into production. They then own the engineering and infrastructure of every ML and AI system shipped into production, from reliability and cost to scale. Together, this collaborative team reduces toil and delivers reliable, intelligent experiences for small businesses.
The team is currently working on
- Production ML and AI engineering: Building and operating the platforms, services and practices that support traditional ML models, generative AI and agentic systems in production.
- JAX (Just Ask Xero): Powering Xero's conversational GenAI assistant and evolving the underlying capabilities to support increasingly sophisticated, context-aware and agentic experiences.
- Intelligent financial workflows: Developing capabilities such as Automated Bank Reconciliation and smart document capture, using ML and AI to match transactions, extract information from bills and receipts, and automate complex tasks.
- XeroForce: Building the platform for AI-powered workflows, enabling agents to plan and execute complex tasks across Xero’s products and supporting reliable, reusable agentic experiences at scale.
- End-to-end AI product experiences: Integrating AI into customer-facing experiences and product workflows, alongside the backend services, orchestration and infrastructure that make them work.
Where and how you can work
Xero offers a flexible hybrid working model designed to blend the collaboration of office life with the autonomy of remote work. You will have access to our modern office spaces, with expectations around office days and collaborative 'boost days' aligned to help your team connect and ship great code effectively.
Here are some of the things we are looking for

BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $169 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
Every great client conversation at Wealthsimple starts with the right person being in the right place at the right time. That's workforce management, and it's a big part of how our Client Experience Operations (CXO) teams deliver fast, reliable support to more than 4 million clients.
As a Senior Associate, Workforce Management, you'll own scheduling for a portfolio of our CXO domain teams across phone, chat and email. You'll build and maintain their schedules, protect coverage through planned and unplanned shrinkage, and make the calls that keep service levels, cost and our people's experience in balance. You'll report to the Lead, WFM Platform & Automation, on a small team where everyone owns their area end to end.
A small team also means a wide view. Scheduling is the core of the job, but you'll need a working command of the whole WFM ecosystem (forecasting and capacity, intraday, leave and shrinkage, reporting) and the judgement to know how a change in one place lands in the others. You'll work closely with People Ops, Enablement, Systems and domain leadership, and you'll often be the person in the room explaining what a decision will do to coverage.
This role requires hands-on WFM experience. As a small team, we're looking for someone who can own schedules in their first few weeks and have real influence on a small, high-trust team. That experience can come from Wealthsimple or from anywhere else.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Own scheduling for your domains: Build, publish and maintain schedules for your portfolio, including rotations, weekend and extended-hours coverage, shift bids and the multi-skill split across phone, chat and email. You're accountable for them being right.
- Protect coverage: Plan for shrinkage before it happens (PTO, training, meetings, coaching, leaves) and respond when it doesn't go to plan. Set PTO availability, plot offline time where it does the least damage, and flag coverage risk early.
- Keep the schedule the source of truth: Process schedule change requests with care and consistency, so the schedule reflects where people are expected to be. That record supports adherence, performance conversations and payroll.
- Be the expert in the room: Represent WFM on projects such as hours-of-operation changes, new channel launches, tooling changes and org changes. Translate operational plans into staffing impact, and be clear about the trade-offs.
- Partner across CXO:
- With HR and People Ops on leaves, accommodations, contract changes and overtime.
- With Enablement on training and nesting schedules for new hires.
- With domain leaders on coverage needs and shift preferences.
- With Systems on the tools and integrations that schedules depend on.
- Analyze and report: Track schedule effectiveness, adherence and conformance, shrinkage and coverage against need. Tell a clear story with the data: what happened, why, and what we should do next.
- Improve how we work: Find the manual work in our scheduling process and help automate it. We build with tools like Playvox and Claude, and we expect you to bring ideas.
WHAT DO YOU BRING?
- 3+ years of hands-on workforce management experience in a contact centre or support environment, with direct ownership of scheduling.
- Experience scheduling at scale: you've built and maintained schedules for 100+ agents across multiple skills or channels, including rotations and weekend or extended-hours coverage.
- A working command of the WFM ecosystem: forecasting inputs, capacity planning, shrinkage, Erlang-based staffing, service level, occupancy, adherence and conformance. You know how a forecast becomes a schedule and how intraday reality feeds back into the plan.
- Fluency with a WFM platform such as Playvox, NICE IEX, Verint, or Assembled, and related CRM/Telephony tools.
- Sound judgement on small-team trade-offs: you can weigh coverage, cost, fairness and your teammates' experience, make a call with incomplete information, and know when to escalate.
- Stakeholder confidence: you're comfortable explaining a staffing decision to a team lead, a people partner or a senior leader. You can say "here's what this will cost us" and work collaboratively towards solutions.
- Ownership and follow-through: you don't need to be told what's next, and your schedules are right the first time.
- Frequent user or at least strong curiosity about AI and automation: you use tools to move faster, and you check the output.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Playvox specifically, or with Zendesk and Five9.
- SQL, or experience with BI tools like Preset or Looker.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
- Experience scheduling around a BPO or outsourced partner.

Who We Are
Flosum is a bootstrapped, profitable B2B SaaS company building the leading Salesforce-native DevSecOps, Data Protection, and Security platform. Our solutions are trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises in the most heavily regulated industries on the planet — financial services, healthcare, government, and insurance.
We’re not a startup burning cash and chasing vanity metrics. We’re a proven, scaling business that reached profitability on our own terms. As a Salesforce Summit Partner and Innovation Award winner, we’ve earned our seat at the table alongside the biggest names in enterprise software.
Built 100% on the Salesforce platform. Serving enterprises that demand zero compromise on security, compliance, and reliability.
Why This Role Exists
We are entering an aggressive growth phase — expanding our product surface, deepening our platform capabilities, and accelerating our delivery velocity. We need senior-caliber Node.js developers who can own significant parts of our architecture and ship production code that enterprise customers depend on daily.
This is not a staff augmentation seat. You will work directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO. Your decisions will have real consequences, your opinions will be heard, and your craftsmanship will be visible to the customers who rely on our platform.
What You’ll Build
High-performance backend services and APIs powering enterprise-grade SaaS applications
Scalable, secure Node.js micro services and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem
Modern front-end experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript that serve demanding enterprise users
CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and developer productivity infrastructure
Real-time data processing and event-driven architectures handling sensitive enterprise data at scale
Requirements
Read this section carefully. We are specific about what we need because we are serious about who we hire.
Non-Negotiable Technical Requirements
5+ years of professional Node.js development in production environments — not tutorials, not side projects, not bootcamp exercises. Real production systems serving real users at scale.
Expert-level understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime. You should be able to explain backpressure, the differences between setImmediate and process.nextTick, and why unhandled promise rejections are dangerous — without Googling it.
Deep experience with TypeScript in production codebases. We write typed code, and we expect you to understand why.
Strong command of RESTful API design, authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and API security best practices for enterprise environments.
Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, data modeling, and understanding the performance implications of schema decisions at scale.
Proficiency with Git workflows, code review practices, automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of containerization (Docker), cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and infrastructure-as-code principles.
Highly Preferred (These Will Set You Apart)
Salesforce development experience: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations. If you know both Node.js and Salesforce, you are a rare and extremely valuable candidate to us.
Experience building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products.
Vue.js front-end development experience, particularly with Vue 3 Composition API and state management.
Experience working in B2B SaaS companies serving enterprise customers with strict compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR).
Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices in the Salesforce ecosystem.
The Kind of Person We’re Looking For
Skills get you in the door. Mindset determines whether you thrive here:
Missionary, Not Mercenary
You care about what you’re building and why. You take ownership not because someone assigned it to you, but because that’s who you are. When something is broken at 2 AM, you don’t check whether it’s “your responsibility” — you fix it.
Builder, Not a Bystander
You don’t wait for perfect specifications. You dig in, ask hard questions, propose solutions, and ship. You would rather have a working prototype by Friday than a polished slide deck by next quarter.
Craftsperson Under Pressure
Enterprise customers depend on our uptime and data integrity. You write code that doesn’t just work — it survives. You understand that in regulated industries, your code is your reputation.
Direct Communicator
You say what you think, respectfully and clearly. If a technical decision is wrong, you speak up — regardless of who made it. We value candor over politeness-at-the-expense-of-quality.
This Is a Long-Term Commitment
Let us be direct: we are not looking for contractors who jump between projects every few months. We are building a world-class engineering team, and we invest heavily in the people who join us. In return, we expect commitment.
This role is designed as a long-term, full-time engagement. You will grow with us. You will own systems end-to-end. You will see the direct impact of your work in how Fortune 500 companies build, protect, and deploy on Salesforce.
If you’re looking for a short-term gig while you wait for something else, this isn’t the role. If you want to build something that matters and be part of a team that’s scaling from strong to dominant, keep reading.

Who We Are
Flosum is a bootstrapped, profitable B2B SaaS company building the leading Salesforce-native DevSecOps, Data Protection, and Security platform.

Who We Are
Flosum is a bootstrapped, profitable B2B SaaS company building the leading Salesforce-native DevSecOps, Data Protection, and Security platform.

This is a unique opportunity to build an AI infrastructure business within an established international company.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who understands the GPU compute ecosystem and can turn infrastructure investments into a scalable, revenue-generating business.
You will take ownership of three core areas:
GPU Procurement & Strategic Partnerships
AI Infrastructure Development & Deployment
AI Compute Sales & Commercialization
You will work closely with company leadership to develop the business strategy, establish strategic partnerships, identify investment opportunities, and execute the roadmap.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a combination of commercial expertise, infrastructure knowledge, and strong execution capabilities.
We are not looking for someone who simply manages existing operations. We need someone who can build the business.
Responsibilities
1. GPU Procurement & Strategic Partnerships
Develop and execute GPU procurement strategies.
Establish relationships with NVIDIA, OEMs, distributors, and GPU hardware suppliers.
Identify opportunities in both new and secondary GPU markets.
Negotiate hardware supply agreements, pricing, delivery terms, and strategic partnerships.
Evaluate GPU availability, pricing dynamics, hardware lifecycle, and investment opportunities.

2. AI Infrastructure Development
Lead the planning and deployment of GPU computing infrastructure.
Identify and evaluate data center locations, colocation providers, and infrastructure partners.
Coordinate infrastructure requirements, including power, cooling, networking, and operational capacity.
Develop scalable infrastructure deployment models.
Oversee project execution in collaboration with technical and operational teams.
Optimize infrastructure economics, deployment timelines, and operational efficiency.
3. AI Compute Sales & Commercialization
Develop the commercial strategy for GPU compute capacity.
Identify customers requiring AI inference, GPU cloud, and high-performance computing services.
Build relationships with AI startups, enterprises, cloud providers, and infrastructure companies.
Negotiate short-term and long-term compute capacity agreements.
Develop pricing strategies and commercial partnership models.
Drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and infrastructure utilization.
4. Business Strategy & Ownership
Develop the AI compute business strategy and execution roadmap.
Build financial models and evaluate investment opportunities.
Own business unit economics, CAPEX, OPEX, and commercial performance.
Collaborate with leadership on financing and capital allocation.
Establish operational and commercial KPIs.
Build and lead a team as the business scales.
Take full accountability for business results and profitability.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in AI infrastructure, GPU cloud, data centers, cloud computing, or related industries.
Proven track record of launching, building, or scaling infrastructure-driven businesses.
Strong understanding of GPU computing, AI infrastructure economics, and the broader AI ecosystem.
Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following areas:
GPU procurement and strategic hardware partnerships.
AI infrastructure development and deployment.
GPU compute sales and commercialization.
Strong business development and negotiation skills.
Experience managing complex commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
Solid understanding of financial modeling, CAPEX, OPEX, ROI, and unit economics.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward execution.
Ability to operate independently and make decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Fluent English
Nice to Have
Established relationships with NVIDIA, OEMs, GPU distributors, or major hardware suppliers.
Experience at GPU cloud providers, neocloud companies, or AI infrastructure startups.
Background in GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), AI inference, or compute marketplaces.
Experience with high-density data centers, Bitcoin mining, or energy-intensive infrastructure.
Experience negotiating long-term compute capacity contracts.
Previous experience as a founder, General Manager, or business unit leader.
Strong professional network in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Benefits
Professional growth: support for courses, conferences, and English learning (up to 100% coverage).
Work-life fit: remote or hybrid format with flexible hours across international teams.
Paid leave: up to 20 vacation days + 8 company holidays + 5 personal days per year
Recognition programs: structured performance reviews and team awards.
Team culture: retreats in international locations (for example, company apartments in Cyprus).
Location: Georgia; Cyprus; Poland; Spain; Italy; Serbia
GoMining runs a portfolio, not a single product: Digital Miners, the GOMINING token, GoMining Card, Simple Earn, Wallet, Miner Wars, Academy and more. As the business grows, so does the finance function behind it: more payment and service providers, more complex processes, more reporting, and more teams that depend on finance to move fast.
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Finance department and own the internal projects that make that function scale: process optimisation, reporting automation, new provider integrations, and coordination between finance and the rest of the company.
This is not a role for someone who only tracks tasks and books meetings. We need a PM who can dig into complex processes, spot what’s broken, propose a fix and drive the change through to a result. Many of these processes need to be built from scratch, so you’ll be shaping how things work, not just following an existing playbook.
The ideal candidate combines a strong Project Manager with a Business Operations mindset and a solid understanding of finance. If your background is in Finance Operations rather than pure project management, we’d still love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
Projects: own finance initiatives end to end
Lead internal finance projects from idea to result: scope, plan, stakeholders, timeline and delivery.
Drive the integration of new providers and systems into finance workflows, working with product, engineering, payments and accounting.
Hold the timeline and chase dependencies across departments so projects actually land on the date we committed to.
Communicate status, risks and results clearly to department heads and senior leadership.
Processes: make finance faster and more reliable
Map existing finance and accounting processes, find bottlenecks and manual work, and prioritise what to fix first.
Automate financial reporting and reduce the time and effort it takes to get reliable numbers.
Build new processes from scratch where none exist yet, keeping them lean and practical rather than bureaucratic.
Standardise how finance works with other teams: requests, handoffs, approvals and ownership.
Ownership: find problems before they find you
Proactively identify issues in processes and data, understand the root cause and come back with a solution, not just a ticket.
Read between the lines of stakeholder requests to understand what the business actually needs.
Take responsibility for outcomes instead of passing tasks between colleagues.
What success looks like
First 3 months:
you know how finance works end to end, the key projects have a clear owner, plan and timeline, and the first process improvements or automations are live and saving the team real time.
Requirements
5+ years in project management, ideally in Finance or Operations.
Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes.
Hands-on experience with process automation, process optimisation and system integrations.
Experience working across multiple departments and aligning stakeholders you don’t manage.
A track record of running projects independently from idea to result: you can walk us through a project you owned and what changed because of it.
Strong ownership and proactivity: you don’t wait for instructions and you take responsibility for the outcome.
Confident communication with senior leaders.
Attention to detail and a systematic approach, balanced with pragmatism and no unnecessary bureaucracy.
Comfort with a high pace, a large workload, uncertainty and shifting priorities.
Strong English, written and spoken.
Would be a plus
Experience in Business Operations or Finance Operations roles.
Experience in crypto, fintech, payments or another fast-growing digital business.
Experience integrating payment or financial service providers.
Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment where processes were built from scratch.
Benefits
Professional growth: support for courses, conferences, and English learning (up to 100% coverage).
Work-life fit: remote or hybrid format with flexible hours across international teams.
Paid leave: up to 20 vacation days + 8 company holidays + 5 personal days per year.
Recognition programs: structured performance reviews and team awards.
Team culture: retreats in international locations (for example, company apartments in Cyprus).
