About Teleport
Don't wait for the future of infrastructure. Be part of it.
Teleport is the AI Infrastructure Identity Company. We're solving one of the hardest problems in security: giving every human, machine, workload, and AI agent a cryptographically secured identity, improving engineering velocity while maintaining security. We make trusted computing simple. This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence.
Remote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for our first Data Engineer to build Teleport's internal data platform. You will design and own the pipelines and warehouse that turn raw data from across the company, including product usage, production costs, budgets, and sales, into data that any team can use to answer their own questions.
You will work closely with teams across the company, including product, engineering, finance, and revenue, to understand their data needs and deliver reliable, well-modeled data they can depend on.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and operate a low-maintenance cloud data warehouse and transformation workflow.
- Evaluate managed connectors, source exports, and native cloud services before building custom ingestion software.
- Model data from CRM, contracts, finance, billing, product usage, and cloud infrastructure into coherent business entities and metrics.
- Establish canonical customer identity and mappings between accounts, tenants, billing entities, and other source-specific identifiers.
- Partner with Finance, Revenue, Product, and Engineering to define concepts such as ARR, adoption, infrastructure cost, and gross margin.
- Build data quality checks, reconciliation, documentation, lineage, and observable failure behavior into the system.
- Protect customer and employee information through appropriate access control, minimization, redaction, and retention practices.
- Manage warehouse performance and cost, and keep the platform understandable and operable by a small team.
- Use Python or Go for integrations that cannot be handled safely and economically by managed or warehouse-native capabilities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Willingness to work collaboratively with Teleport's engineers on Data Engineering Challenge https://github.com/gravitational/careers/blob/main/challenges/data-engineer/challenge-1.md to design and build an analytics warehouse for a fictional business.
- Builder mentality; experience building a data engineering function from scratch at a growing startup is highly desirable.
- Strong SQL and dimensional or analytical data-modeling expertise.
- Experience translating ambiguous stakeholder questions into documented, testable business definitions.
- Production experience with dbt or an equivalent SQL transformation workflow.
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- Experience with managed ELT, APIs, object storage, incremental loading, and source schema evolution.
- Strong data-quality and reconciliation practices, including explaining how published numbers relate to their sources.
- Experience handling sensitive data, access control, and retention responsibly.
- Practical experience with Python or Go, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud operations.
- Sound judgment about build vs. buy decisions, operational simplicity, and managing scope in a startup environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to master new technologies.
- Comfortable changing the area of focus and working directly with stakeholders across the company.
- No-ego mindset of collaboration, transparency, and seeking feedback from others.
HOW WE HIRE
Our process is designed to be straightforward and respectful of your time. We skip performative rounds and focus on what matters: understanding how you think and what you can do.
For this role, we use a take-home challenge that mirrors real work at Teleport — on your time, your way. You'll have support from the team throughout.
1. Zoom meeting with a Teleport recruiter. You’ll learn about the company, our products, compensation philosophy, interview process, and key requirements.
2. Zoom meeting with the Hiring Manager. The Hiring Manager will walk you through the data engineering challenge and answer your questions.
3. Challenge collaboration. The day after your meeting with the Hiring Manager, you join a Slack channel and complete a Data Engineering Challenge https://github.com/gravitational/careers/blob/main/challenges/data-engineer/challenge-1.md using GitHub. The challenge usually takes about 2 weeks and ends with a Zoom meeting with the Hiring Manager and a member of the interview team to review your solution.
4. If your challenge solution meets our bar, you'll receive an offer to join Teleport.
Why Teleport
You're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product. We're not a big company, you won't get lost in a crowd. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do what you're great at, alongside teammates who care about doing it right and want to see you succeed. The work is collaborative, there's real room to grow, and the mission is one worth showing up for.
Remote-first and globally distributed, we're genuinely passionate about what we're building.
The Benefits
At Teleport, we believe your career is more important than a list of perks. That's why we focus on making your day-to-day the best it can be — giving you the autonomy, access, and support to do the best work of your career.
- Extensive health coverage
- Annual expense budget
- Rest and recovery policies that maximize your ability to recharge
- Investment in your future with retirement savings plans
- Professional development opportunities

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The People Team at Notion exists to help build a generational company that enables people to do their best and most meaningful work. This role operates at all altitudes - one minute, you’ll be building a people strategy with a member of our leadership team, and the next, you’ll be coaching an employee. With Notion's scale this year, you'll play a major role in how we shape, mold, and build the future of Notion for years to come.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Build deep partnerships with Notion’s leadership team (especially across Engineering, Product, and Design), and serve as a conduit between stakeholders up to C-suite and the People Team.
- Advise on, create, and execute people strategies that drive the business forward.
- Consult with the leadership team on Talent Planning, Org Design, Retention Strategies, and Change Management.
- Apply systems thinking to evolve how we operate — translating patterns and friction into improvements across people programs and operating rhythms.
- Share proactive insights from people data, to uncover hot spots, and ensure Notion is being proactive to retain top talent.
- Support and help shape the 360 performance review process: manager calibrations, facilitate training sessions, compensation planning, and host office hours.
- Coach Managers to lead through change, effectively performance manage and increase employee engagement with ongoing feedback and effective communication.
- Provide targeted performance management support, devise and implement development plans, and enhance managers' training for improved team performance.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 10+ years of experience, minimum of 3+ years of Engineering and/or Product experience and deep knowledge of various HR functions such as talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong learning velocity and able to ramp quickly on new organizations, leaders, and evolving operating models.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Solutions-oriented with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to remain tactful and calm in all situations.
- Highly adaptable and will thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to thrive with async and global teams
- Understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor relations.
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $220,000- $275,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

About LaunchDarkly:
Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise. Slow, inefficient development cycles, costly outages, and fragmented customer experiences are preventing developers from building their best software. The LaunchDarkly platform helps developers innovate on new features faster while protecting them with a safety valve to instantly rewind when things go wrong. Developers can target product experiences to any customer segment and maximize the business impact of every feature. And by gradually rolling out new application components, they escape nightmare "big-bang" technology migrations.
The LaunchDarkly platform was built to guide engineers to the next frontier of DevOps by:
Improving the velocity and stability of software releases, without the fear of end customer outages
Delivering targeted experiences by easily personalizing features to customer cohorts
Maximizing the business impact of every feature through the ability to experiment and optimize
Coordinating the release and optimization of software to provide consistent experiences across mobile platforms and device types
Improving the effectiveness and productivity of engineering teams, by providing insights into engineering cadence and stability

You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity and we would be interested in applicants from Canadian
EST time zones only.
Senior Software Engineer - Session Replay
The Opportunity:
The Session Replay squad is building a new Grafana Cloud product that helps our customers to understand what users actually experienced when something goes wrong.
Session Replay
connects frontend signals (errors, performance, synthetic checks) to concrete session-level evidence, enabling faster and more confident investigation of production issues.
This team works at the intersection of:
frontend observability,
backend data processing and storage at scale,
debugging workflows across products,
privacy and access control,
performance and cost constraints at scale.
Session Replay
is still early, which means you’ll help shape both what we build and how it fits into Grafana Cloud. A key part of our next phase is evolving the backend architecture of capturing sessions, including a migration toward columnar/analytical solution as a primary storage and query engine for high-volume session data.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a new perspective to the software. We are looking for Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about working with data and providing seamless experiences for our customers to join our growing team! Our stack is Golang, Typescript and React, but we build tools for people using many other stacks.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will operate as a technical leader and systems thinker, driving both product direction and architectural evolution, specifically, you will:
Own end-to-end technical direction for Session Replay,
spanning frontend, backend, and data systems
Drive the evolution of our backend architecture, including:
Designing systems around columnar/analytical data storage for large-scale session data
Defining data models, ingestion pipelines, and query patterns
Lead the design of investigation workflows,
connecting replay with logs, metrics, traces and other telemetry across Grafana Cloud
Make high-leverage architectural decisions
that impact multiple teams and products
Partner with teams across Grafana (Frontend Observability, Synthetic Monitoring, Core Grafana) to build
cohesive cross-product experiences
Engage directly with customers
- joining calls, gathering structured feedback, and helping customers instrument and adopt Session Replay successfully.
Improve engineering standards, patterns, and operational practices within the team
Mentor engineers and help grow technical leadership within the team
Technologies you'll work with:
Go (backend services and APIs)
Columnar/Analytical data storage (core data storage and querying)
Object storage (S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage) and MySQL
TypeScript / React (user-facing workflows)
Grafana ecosystem (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, etc.)
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
You are
comfortable working in a remote-first company
; communication is key.
For us, working together means being
collaborative, friendly, kind, and respectful
. We operate by consensus. You can contribute to a discussion, disagree constructively, and commit to the team’s decision. You are able to communicate design decisions clearly in written and spoken English.
Ability to reason about data-intensive systems
(ingestion, storage, querying, cost trade-offs)
You are
comfortable owning features in ambiguous problem spaces
. We are a small team, working remotely, on a product that will be used by engineers all over the world – the ability to work on your own is crucial.
You have a good understanding of
a software development process that takes a user-centered approach
. You easily build an understanding of the users’ context and goals which will help you build the right solution with the maximum value.
You enjoy
working on complex solutions
– Grafana is a highly technological solution and has avid followers who rely on it every day and who care deeply about their workflows. You value code maintainability, readability & automation.

ABOUT US
Since 2013, we’ve been building a CRM that gets out of your way and helps your team sell more, faster. Now we’re building AI into every part of it, so Close does the busywork and your team does the selling. No manual data entry, no 10-click workflows. Just communication-first, AI-powered sales software designed to help you succeed and scale.
We're bootstrapped and profitable which means we answer to our customers and play by our rules. We're proud of our 120-person, 100% remote team, focused on building Close so that no small, scaling business fails because it can't figure out sales.
ABOUT THE ROLE
One of our values is “Build a house you want to live in.” In this metaphor, Close.com http://Close.com is the front door. Our website is where people learn about who we are, what we do and, even more importantly, it’s a critical touch point on their journey to becoming a Close customer. We’re dedicated to making it best-in-class. We’ve recently migrated from Webflow to our own codebase (Astro, Sanity, Vercel) so a new and improved foundation is in place. We believe building in-house gives us the flexibility, creativity, and speed to make our website a competitive advantage - this is where our first Sr. Frontend Engineer - Marketing comes in. As the technical owner of the website, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and instrumenting Close.com http://Close.com. You’ll work closely with Marketing, including a Marketing Designer, but report up through Engineering.
YOU ARE
- A marketing website engineer. You’ve built beautiful, conversion-focused websites for a while now - probably 5+ years. You may have worked in an agency, but you’ve also had to build, own, and collaborate on websites long-term - seeing your work through impact and likely many iterations. Motion, ambitious CSS, and rich media are second nature, and you sweat page speed and how the site reads to both search engines and AI agents as much as how cool it looks. A modern stack like Astro paired with a headless CMS (Sanity is ours) is familiar territory to you.
- Fluent in measurement. The sites you build aren’t only beautiful, but they’re well-measured too. You understand cookies, conversion events, analytics, and experimentation tooling, and you've worked with tools like Segment, Amplitude, or Customer.io http://Customer.io.
- Focused on conversion and fueled by impact. We’re primarily a self-service SMB business and that means that Close.com http://Close.com isn’t just a brand experience. It’s a critical part of our acquisition funnel. This means that your work will have a direct effect on some of our most important business metrics - traffic, conversion, revenue. You’re the type who finds this motivating and is eager to partner with Marketing and Growth to move these numbers.
- Energized by empowering non-technical team members. You’ve built systems that allow Marketers or Designers to self-serve and solve problems quickly and independently. You’re comfortable thinking through guardrails, automations, and tooling.
- Already building with AI. You use AI to move faster and empower your team but are equally discerning about which moments require craftsmanship and taste.
- Resourceful and collaborative. You’ll bridge two teams (Marketing and Engineering) and will need to easily work with folks across departments and levels. No tweak or task is too small (or too big) for you to tackle.
YOU WILL
- Build and continuously improve a world-class marketing website. We want close.com http://close.com to be responsive, highly interactive, and polished. The kind of site that brings the product to life through animation and interactivity. You'll ship new pages and continue raising the bar on core site functionality.
- Make the site fast and findable. You’ll own performance, technical SEO, and how the site shows up to search engines and AI agents.
- Manage the infrastructure behind the site. The platform (Sanity), components, integrations, and deployment are for you to maintain and evolve.
- Own the technical integrity of site measurement and partner on experiments. Make sure tracking, attribution, conversion events, and funnel data are implemented correctly and reliably flow into our marketing and data systems.
- Build tools that let Marketing self-serve...and help the site self-improve. You’ll build automations and flows to help the team ship pages, campaigns, and experiments, but you’ll also help the website be a partner in its own development - be it catching regressions or flagging performance problems and SEO issues. The website of the future is a surface for collaboration between you, the marketing team, and AI agents.
- Stretch beyond the site and act as an engineering resource to marketing. The website is your focus, but there’s a lot of work to be done! You’ll be a resource for solving tricky problems, across the website and in other areas of marketing - sometimes that means hopping in yourself, or just knowing when to loop in the right person.
BENEFITS
- Compensation: Competitive pay plus an organization-wide goal-based bonus
- Paid Time Off: ~5 weeks of PTO to start. Plus a 1-week all-company Winter Holiday Break and paid US holidays. You'll earn 2 extra days for every year you're with Close.
- 80% Work Option: Work with your manager to choose between a standard 5-day week or a 4-day week at 80% pay
- Parental Leave: Paid leave for primary and secondary caregivers
- Sabbatical: A 1-month paid sabbatical every 5 years with the team
- Healthcare (US residents): Two medical plans with Close covering the majority of your premium, plus Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, and company-paid Long-Term Disability
- 401k (US residents): We match your contributions up to 6%, vested immediately
OUR VALUES
Build a house you want to live in - Examine long-term thinking and action
No BS - Practice transparency and honesty, especially when it’s hard
Invest in each other - Build successful relationships with your coworkers and customers
Discipline equals freedom - Keep your word to yourself and others

OUR HIRING PROCESS
We ask a few role-specific questions as part of our application process. These questions are designed to help us learn more about you from the start, so please answer each one thoughtfully. We see this as an opportunity to get to know you beyond your resume.
We use AI tools daily at Close and expect candidates to do the same. In evaluating your application, we aim to get a sense for you - the way you think, how you communicate, the work you've done. Applications that read as fully AI-generated will not be considered.
Regardless of fit, you can expect to hear back from our team with an update on the status of your candidacy.
If you progress to the interview process, you'll receive a full outline of the role-specific steps in your first touchpoint with us. We do our best to make the hiring process clear and human.
