HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⚡ THE CORPORATE TEAM AT ALAN
You will join Alan's Corporate team, the unit that covers legal, privacy, governance, risk, compliance and security as Alan scales.
Alan wants to be in 10 countries within five years, and that only works with corporate processes built to scale with it. This is a newly created role, and your job is to make Alan's regulated development seamless and integrated with how we build product.
You will benefit from close mentorship and structured support, you won't be left on your own, and the deep legal, privacy, and security expertise stays in the team around you. At Alan, roles evolve, so you will have real opportunities to expand your scope across topics and countries as you grow.
🤝 YOUR MISSIONS
Corporate protects Alan and its members, but regulated work can still be slow, manual and disconnected from how we build. You are here to build the compliance product that fixes that: processes and tooling that hold as Alan grows, and that make regulated work lighter on both sides, for the teams you serve and for the experts you work with.
- Make regulated work scale. Alan's regulatory load grows with every new member, market and product. You build the layer that absorbs it, so Corporate's load stops climbing in lockstep with the company: a clear path from each request to the right owner, and tooling that takes on the recurring work.
- Rebuild processes end to end. You find the painful process, work out what people are really doing to get around it, and redesign it so it is faster for everyone. You stay on it after launch, watch how it is used, and keep improving it until it becomes the way people work.
- Build practical automation and AI-enabled workflows from end-to-end. You identify where no-code, low-code, AI tools or other forms of automation can remove repetitive work, improve consistency and help people make better decisions. You design workflows that combine tools, data, controls and human judgment appropriately.
- Spot the next bottleneck before it bites. You design solutions that keep Alan compliant and fast at the same time, rather than trading one for the other.
- Measure what you ship. You set clear goals and check them, so every change makes life easier on both sides: the Corporate team you work with and the people they serve.
In your first six months, you will have:
- Shipped a first system that gives the teams you serve one simple, fast way to get what they need from Corporate.
- Owned at least one process from problem to a live, automated solution that people actually use.
- Become a trusted, pragmatic builder for the Corporate team and for the people they serve.
- Established a clear approach to measuring adoption, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
🚀 PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
What you bring
- You have built things people kept using. You have turned manual, repetitive work into automated or self-serve solutions with no-code, low-code and AI tools, whether at work or on your own projects. You can explain what you built, why you built it and how people used it.
- You understand AI-enabled workflows. You are familiar with current AI tools and have experimented with using them to improve research, decision-making, knowledge work or operations. You are interested not only in using AI tools, but also in combining them into reliable workflows that solve real problems.
- You are drawn to regulated work. You want to understand why these processes exist and where they create friction, and you ramp up fast on a domain that is new to you. Hands-on experience in one of these areas is a plus that speeds your ramp-up, not a requirement.
- French and English (professional level).
Qualities we look for to join our team
- Builder mindset: You can operate independently, make progress with incomplete information, prioritise ruthlessly, involve the right experts and bring a project to a useful outcome without waiting for perfect certainty.
- Explorer mindset: You are curious about a vague problem, dig deep to frame it well, stay solution-oriented, and escalate early.
- Systems thinking: You look beyond isolated tasks and understand how people, processes, tools, data and controls fit together.
- Appetite for regulated complexity: The complexity of regulated work energises you as much as the tooling does, and you approach it with a try-and-retry, challenger mindset.
- Sound judgment: You sense where a shortcut would break a legal, privacy, security or compliance requirement, and you know when to stop and ask.
- Project ownership: You drive projects end to end, from user research and planning to delivery, and you own what happens after launch: adoption and continuous improvement.
- Clear communication: You are proactive and clear with stakeholders, you show progress, and you explain why.
For this role we are looking to hire within the C0-C1 level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We're looking for distributed systems engineers and product-minded generalists to build the distributed runtime that powers large-scale LLM inference on Baseten. Our inference platform empowers customers to deploy and operate cutting-edge models with industry-leading performance, scalability, and reliability. It also powers Model APIs, our hosted endpoints for the latest open-source models. You'll work across the stack, from the developer experience customers use to deploy models, through the libraries behind features like tool calling and reasoning, down to the systems that orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes and route traffic efficiently. Your job is to make sure every model on our platform is fast, reliable, and cost-efficient. You'll join a small, high-impact team at the intersection of distributed systems, model performance, infrastructure, and product, helping define how developers use AI models at scale. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning systems in production, solving hard integration problems, and making complex infrastructure simple and reliable for users.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
You'll get to work on these types of projects on our Inference Platform:
- The Baseten Inference Stack at NVIDIA Dynamo Day https://www.baseten.co/blog/nvidia-dynamo-day-baseten-inference-stack/
- 2x faster inference with KV cache-aware routing https://www.baseten.co/blog/how-baseten-achieved-2x-faster-inference-with-nvidia-dynamo/
- How Baseten multi-cloud capacity management (MCM) unifies deployments https://www.baseten.co/blog/how-baseten-multi-cloud-capacity-management-mcm-powers-cloud-self-hosted-and-hybr/#comparing-deployment-options-cloud-vs-self-hosted-vs-hybrid
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build the infrastructure and orchestration systems that deploy and run large-scale distributed LLM inference, including routing, autoscaling, scheduling, and runtime management.
- Design, build, and operate Model APIs, with a focus on advanced inference capabilities: structured outputs (JSON mode, grammar-constrained generation), tool/function calling, and multimodal serving.
- Implement platform fundamentals such as API versioning, validation, usage metering, quotas, and authentication.
- Instrument deep observability (metrics, traces, logs) and build repeatable benchmarks for speed, reliability, and quality. Help set best practices for testing, release automation, and operational excellence.
- Debug and harden complex production systems spanning Kubernetes, distributed runtimes, networking, and GPU workloads to improve reliability and scalability.
- Partner with Inference Performance engineers and other teams to make new optimizations broadly available to customers and easy to configure.
- Own projects end to end, from architecture through deployment, monitoring, and iteration on customer feedback. Along the way, make thoughtful tradeoffs between performance, reliability, operational simplicity, and developer experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years building and operating distributed systems, backend infrastructure, or large-scale APIs where reliability, latency, and scale are first-class concerns.
- A proven track record of owning low-latency, reliable backend services, including rate limiting, auth, quotas, metering, and migrations.
- Infrastructure instincts with a feel for performance: profiling, tracing, capacity planning, and SLO management.
- Comfort debugging performance and reliability issues across multiple layers of the stack, from application behavior down to runtime and infrastructure internals.
- A strong sense of developer experience. You think about how systems are used, not just how they work.
- Eagerness to learn new languages, frameworks, and systems, and a real interest in inference engineering. Prior ML or LLM experience isn't required, though experience with model serving or inference systems is a plus.
- Excellent written communication and collaboration skills, including writing clear design docs and working across functions.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with or contributions to LLM inference engines and frameworks such as vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, TGI, or Dynamo.

THE ROLE
We're looking for inference performance engineers who want to make the world's most demanding AI workloads run faster and more efficiently. You'll work across the stack, from the inference engine and runtime through scheduling, serving, and routing. Along the way you'll apply techniques like prefill/decode disaggregation, speculative decoding, and KV-cache management. You'll reason from first principles about where time and memory go, find what's holding performance back, and close the gap. Your work directly impacts how fast our customers' models run and how efficiently we serve them. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is eager to make significant contributions to the exciting field of LLM inference.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
You'll get to work on these types of projects as an Inference Performance engineer:
- Agentic Kernels in Production https://www.baseten.co/blog/agentic-kernels-in-production/
- How we built the new fastest API for GLM-5.2 https://www.baseten.co/blog/how-we-built-the-new-fastest-api-for-glm-52/
- Live draft model training for speculative decoding https://www.baseten.co/blog/live-draft-model-training-for-speculative-decoding/#eliminating-traditional-bottlenecks
- Making Kimi K3 Tokenization 18x faster https://www.baseten.co/blog/making-kimi-k3-tokenization-18x-faster-for-million-token-agentic-workloads/
- The Baseten Inference Stack https://www.baseten.co/resources/guide/the-baseten-inference-stack/
- Driving model performance optimization https://www.baseten.co/blog/driving-model-performance-optimization-2024-highlights/
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and productionize cutting-edge inference techniques, working deep in runtime internals. That includes quantization, speculative decoding, KV-cache reuse, chunked prefill, LoRA, guided generation for structured outputs, and custom scheduling and routing algorithms.
- Profile and optimize inference end to end, from kernel launch overhead and memory layout up to request scheduling, prefill/decode disaggregation, and cache-aware routing. Run cross-layer investigations, such as tracing a tail-latency regression from request timing through routing and batching down to a kernel.
- Turn performance into cost savings. Improve tokens per GPU-hour, raise utilization, and give customers and internal teams clear latency/throughput/cost tradeoffs.
- Bring up and tune new model architectures on new hardware quickly, often in the same week they're released.
- Build benchmarking frameworks that measure real-world performance across model architectures, batch sizes, sequence lengths, and hardware configurations.
- Contribute upstream to open-source inference engines (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM), and partner closely with model, infrastructure, and customer-facing teams to ship wins.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Python or C++.
- Familiarity with LLM optimization techniques (e.g., quantization, speculative decoding, continuous batching).
- Strong familiarity with ML libraries, especially PyTorch, TensorRT, or TensorRT-LLM.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in LLMs.
- Deep understanding of GPU architecture.
NICE TO HAVE
- Proficiency in enhancing the performance of software systems, particularly in the context of large language models (LLMs)
- Contributed to vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, or another inference engine.
- Worked on large-scale distributed serving: autoscaling, load balancing, multi-region or multi-cloud capacity.
- Written or optimized GPU kernels (CUDA, Triton, CUTLASS, or similar)
- Worked on quantization (FP8/FP4, AWQ, GPTQ) or speculative decoding in production.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles and a proven track record of developing and deploying AI/ML inference solutions.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Buying something for a business should not require finance teams to piece together requests, purchase orders, receipts, and invoices across disconnected systems. Ramp is building a procurement experience that helps employees get what they need, gives finance teams control over commitments, and helps businesses pay for what they actually received.
As a Product Manager for Ramp’s Procurement offering, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ramp’s core procurement capabilities, including sourcing, requisition, approval workflows, renewals, purchase orders, receiving, two- and three-way matching, and inventory management. You will work with Engineering, Design, and Data to turn complex purchasing and accounting requirements into products that are easy to start using and reliable as customers grow.
AI creates an opportunity to rethink this work: build agentic buying experiences for employees, automate work for approvers and stakeholders, and businesses make better purchasing decisions. You will decide where automation can take work off a customer’s plate, where a direct workflow is faster, and where a person needs to review or approve an action. Success means customers get value quickly, adopt the product in their everyday work, and spend less time chasing information and correcting errors.
This role requires working in person at our NYC or SF office at least two days per week.
Please note that this role requires in-person presence at our NYC or SF office at least 2 days/week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Ramp’s Procurement pod. Make clear choices about which customer problems to solve, how the capabilities fit together, and what to build next.
- Build connected workflows across sourcing, requisition, approvals, renewals, purchase orders, receiving, invoice matching, and inventory management. Partner with Bill Pay, Accounting, and platform teams so purchasing records and decisions carry through to payment and customers’ ERP systems.
- Spend time with finance teams, procurement leaders, purchasing operators, and employees. Turn observed friction into simpler experiences for first-time customers and powerful workflows for complex organizations.
- Build AI-powered experiences that complete useful work, such as finding new vendors, managing a renewal, drafting a request from a contract, or helping resolve a receipt and invoice discrepancy. Prototype with customers and decide what should be automated, suggested, or handled through direct user controls.
- Make automation dependable. Partner with Engineering and Data to define quality measures, test realistic customer scenarios, learn from corrections, and provide clear explanations, approval boundaries, audit trails, and recovery when something goes wrong.
- Own outcomes beyond launch. Define and improve activation, repeat usage, time to complete purchasing work, and the accuracy of matching and exception resolution. Use data and customer research to choose the next iteration.
- Lead execution with engineers and designers, make scope and sequencing tradeoffs, and align partner teams on dependencies. Work with Sales, Implementation, and Customer Experience to turn customer commitments into repeatable product capabilities and support successful adoption.
WHAT YOU NEED
- At least three years of product management or equivalent product-building experience, with evidence of owning a product area from customer discovery through launch and measurable adoption.
- Strong product judgment and systems thinking. You can simplify complex workflows while preserving the controls and flexibility customers need.
- Hands-on AI fluency, demonstrated through products, prototypes, or meaningful projects. You can reason about model quality, latency, cost, and user control, and choose where AI improves the experience.
- Technical and analytical fluency, developed through a technical or analytical degree or equivalent practical experience. You can work with engineers on data models and integrations, use data to investigate problems, and build prototypes to test ideas.
- Deep customer curiosity and strong design judgment. You can learn unfamiliar purchasing and finance workflows, distinguish recurring needs from one-off requests, and make the product easier to use.
- A track record of leading cross-functional teams, setting priorities, making difficult tradeoffs, and delivering outcomes through others.
- Clear written and verbal communication. You can explain a product direction, a complex workflow, and the reasoning behind a decision to technical and non-technical audiences.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience with procurement, purchasing, inventory management, accounts payable, or accounting software, including purchase orders, receiving, matching, and exception handling.
- Experience shipping AI-powered products used in production, including document understanding, agent workflows, and evaluation systems.
- Experience with ERP integrations, multi-entity businesses, or enterprise approval and permission models.
- Experience building products where accuracy and trust matter, with meaningful auditability, user controls, and recovery paths.
- Experience at a high-growth startup, taking new products from initial concept to sustained use or scaling an existing product.

About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.

During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
