The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.
n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:
- Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
- Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects
- Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation
That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 Your main goal will be to identify and reduce security risks across n8n's product and internal systems, using threat modelling, hands-on security expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to help teams design, build, and operate more secure systems.
You'll join our growing security team at a pivotal stage, acting as a trusted security partner to teams across the business. You'll help us build a move from reactive security management to a proactive, scalable security practice.
Here's what you'll be driving:
THREAT MODELLING, RISK ASSESSMENT & SECURITY DESIGN
- Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments across product features, AI agents, cloud infrastructure, corporate IT, internal applications, and data systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending practical mitigations.
- Partner with Engineering, Cloud, IT, and Data teams to review security designs, define actionable security requirements, and influence the implementation of appropriate controls.

VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT & COORDINATED DISCLOSURE
- Participate in the security triage rotation, assessing incoming vulnerability reports, validating findings, and prioritising remediation based on severity and business impact.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate vulnerability remediation, verify fixes, and support secure patch and release processes.
- Help manage our vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty programmes, including engagement with security researchers, coordinated disclosures, and GitHub Security Advisories.
SECURITY OPERATIONS & INCIDENT READINESS
- Help establish and improve logging, detection, and protective monitoring capabilities across our infrastructure, corporate systems, and internal applications.
- Develop and improve incident response processes, runbooks, and exercises to strengthen our ability to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
- Work closely with system owners to identify security gaps, prioritise remediation, and verify that implemented controls effectively reduce risk.
CUSTOMER TRUST & COMPLIANCE ENGINEERING
- Support SOC 2 compliance by helping establish continuous control monitoring, automated evidence collection, and processes that make security assurance part of everyday operations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to respond to customer security assessments and build reusable resources that streamline future requests.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to assess security risks, improve security policies and controls, and strengthen trust with enterprise customers.
We're hiring two Security Engineers with complementary strengths, so you don't need to be an expert in every security domain.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 YOUR MAIN GOAL WILL BE TO BUILD AND OPERATE N8N’S SHARED CONTEXT INFRASTRUCTURE — OUR “COMPANY BRAIN” — SO BOTH PEOPLE AND AI AGENTS CAN RELIABLY ACCESS ACCURATE, WELL-STRUCTURED, AND APPROPRIATELY GOVERNED KNOWLEDGE ACROSS THE COMPANY.
To make that happen, you’ll shape how our knowledge is structured, contributed, accessed, and maintained as we build the context layer powering n8n’s agentic future:
DESIGN OUR INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
- Define the taxonomy, structure, contributor guidelines, and templates that turn fragmented company knowledge into reliable, reusable context.
- Establish standards that make knowledge easy to navigate, maintain, and use without creating duplication or another layer of content sprawl.
- Evolve these standards as our functions, knowledge sources, and agentic use cases grow.
ONBOARD & ENABLE TEAMS
- Onboard functions to the company brain and train designated champions to structure and maintain their own knowledge over time.
- Give non-technical contributors the guidance, templates, and support they need to contribute high-quality context independently.
- Partner with the Internal AI Enablement Lead to develop a shared network of champions who help scale strong knowledge practices across n8n.
OPERATE OUR CONTEXT PLATFORM
- Configure and operate ingestion from qualitative sources such as Slack, Gong, Drive, and Notion using our context platform’s tooling.
- Own day-to-day platform configuration and basic troubleshooting, escalating genuine engineering challenges to our Automation team or vendor when needed.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Legal to define requirements for how people and AI agents access sensitive company knowledge.
BUILD FOR LONG-TERM TRUST & REUSE
- Keep content structures, contributor guidelines, and knowledge freshness current as n8n and the platform evolve.
- Work with functions to ensure the company brain becomes a trusted source of context rather than another parallel knowledge repository.
- Provide product feedback to our context platform vendor and anticipate shared context patterns and capabilities that future agents will need.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🗂️ Information architecture: You have proven experience designing structured content or knowledge programs at scale, including taxonomies, style guides, contributor guidelines, templates, or information architecture.
- 🧠 Knowledge systems experience: You’ve worked hands-on with knowledge or context systems and understand what it takes to turn fragmented qualitative information into something others can reliably use.
- ⚙️ SaaS platform fluency: You’re comfortable configuring and operating SaaS knowledge or context platforms, working with APIs and integrations, and independently troubleshooting basic issues.
- 🎓 Stakeholder enablement: You have a track record of training non-technical stakeholders and enabling them to confidently maintain high-quality content themselves over the long term.
- 🔐 Governance collaboration: You’re comfortable partnering with IT, Security, and Legal on access requirements and compliance-sensitive data flows without needing to own the underlying technical architecture.
- ✍️ Communication: You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can set a clear quality bar for how company knowledge is structured, documented, and shared.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🤖 Context platforms: You’re familiar with Qontext.ai http://Qontext.ai or a comparable agent-context platform.
- 🔌 MCP: You have experience with or a strong understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- 🏷️ Knowledge governance: You have a background in knowledge management, metadata, or data governance.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how an entire company’s knowledge becomes usable — not only by people, but by the AI agents increasingly working alongside them. You’ll build a capability we don’t have today and help establish the context layer that future agentic initiatives across n8n will depend on.
You’ll have real ownership over how company knowledge is structured, governed, and maintained, while working closely with teams across IT, Security, Legal, Data, and AI & Automation. You’ll also have the support of a strong technical team and vendor partner, so your focus can stay on creating a trusted, scalable knowledge system rather than building every piece of infrastructure from scratch.
As n8n grows, you’ll help turn fragmented knowledge into a shared company brain that teams can contribute to confidently and agents can depend on reliably.

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 YOUR MAIN GOAL WILL BE TO TURN N8N’S INTERNAL AI AND AUTOMATION CAPABILITIES INTO SOMETHING EVERY FUNCTION CAN CONFIDENTLY USE, BUILD WITH, AND LEARN FROM.
To make that happen, you’ll create the programs, experiences, and foundations that help teams across n8n build their AI and automation fluency:
DRIVE HANDS-ON ENABLEMENT
- Run weekly, role-specific workshops, prioritizing less-technical functions such as Legal and Customer Support.
- Lead hands-on sessions where you build live alongside teams, helping them turn real workflows and challenges into working automations.
- Run Build Along Office Hours and Bounty Hunts that give teams regular opportunities to learn, experiment, and solve problems together.
- Help teams identify useful automation opportunities, understand the process they are changing, and decide when to reuse an existing solution, build themselves, or involve the Automation team.
OWN DOGFOODING & EXPERIMENTATION
- Own our monthly Dogfooding Day end-to-end, from planning and coordination through execution and follow-up.
- Design and run hackathons and other experimentation initiatives that encourage teams to explore new ways of working with AI and automation.
- Turn learnings and outputs from these initiatives into reusable assets that help other teams move faster.
SCALE AI FLUENCY & COMMUNITY
- Own periodic AI fluency survey cycles alongside the People team and help calibrate what fluency means across different functions.
- Build visibility around internal wins and reusable solutions so teams can learn from what others have already created.
- Identify and support champions across functions, informally leading the emerging Guild and helping automation knowledge spread across the company.
ENABLE SAFE, REUSABLE AUTOMATION
- Act as product owner for our internal “safe playground,” partnering with IT, Security, Data, and Solutions Engineering on access, credentials, environments, and requirements.
- Turn outputs from workshops and office hours into reusable templates and resources that teams can easily discover and adopt.
- Actively help teams reuse existing solutions rather than reinventing them, making automation more accessible and scalable across n8n.
- Check whether the things built are still in use four weeks later; provide evidence that teams reuse existing assets and can make routine changes without handing everything back to the Automation team.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🛠️ Practitioner-level n8n fluency: You’ve built real, meaningful automations in n8n and are comfortable building live alongside others.
- 🎓 Technical enablement experience: You’ve run structured, recurring enablement programs such as workshops, office hours, or build-alongs.
- 🤝 Non-technical audience expertise: You have a strong track record of helping non-technical teams understand, adopt, and confidently use technical tools.
- 🏗️ Cross-functional ownership: You’re comfortable partnering with IT, Security, and Data teams to define and own requirements around access, credentials, and environments without needing to implement the infrastructure yourself.
- 🌍 CET overlap: You’re based in a time zone that gives you strong overlap with Central European working hours, within a couple of hours of Berlin.
- 💬 English fluency: You have fluent or near-native English and can communicate clearly and confidently with audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior stakeholders.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🌱 Champion programs: You’ve helped build or run an internal ambassador, champion, or community program.
- 📊 Fluency measurement: You have experience running capability, fluency, or adoption surveys and turning the results into actionable programs.
- 🔐 Access & governance: You’re familiar with access or governance models and have worked with stakeholders responsible for secure environments and tooling.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll have the opportunity to build a brand-new enablement function from the ground up and shape how AI and automation become part of everyday work across the company. You’ll have a direct line to the Head of AI & Automation, high visibility across functions, and genuine autonomy to design an enablement model rather than inherit one.
As n8n scales, you’ll become a key connector between the people building our internal automation capabilities and the teams putting them to work. You’ll help create a culture where teams don’t just learn about automation — they confidently build, experiment, share what works, and help others do the same.
You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first company that values autonomy, experimentation, and builder culture, with the opportunity to influence how we scale AI fluency across the organization.

Kit https://kit.com/ is the email marketing platform experts choose to grow their audience, deepen their relationships, and build a business around the work they love. For coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives, there isn't a better marketing hub to rely on to grow audiences, automate email marketing, and sell digital products — all within one platform.
More importantly, there isn't a team more committed to helping creators earn a living. We're on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using our creator marketing platform. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote.
We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.
THE ROLE
Kit is growing, and so are the legal complexities of our business. We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to help us navigate them with clarity, speed, and commercial savvy. You'll serve as in-house legal subject matter expert, partnering closely with the executive team to lead product legal strategy and execution—especially around privacy, data, AI and compliance, commercial contracts, customer security requirements, and scalable legal support for our teams. A key focus will be helping Kit respond to a growing volume of privacy questions—particularly as one of our newer products, Subscriber Signals https://kit.com/features/signals, evolves by building practical, repeatable systems that provide timely and consistent guidance at scale.
You'll help shape the legal backbone of a fast-moving tech company with multiple revenue streams—including SaaS, digital commerce, paid reccomendations, and advertising—and a rapidly growing platform for creators. To advise the business effectively, you'll develop a deep understanding of Kit, SparkLoop https://sparkloop.app/, Subscriber Signals, and how creators get value from our connected ecosystem of apps and tools. You'll be at the center of complex, cross-functional problems where product, business, and legal strategy meet—all in service of helping creators build more valuable businesses.
YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM
You'll report to our Chief Operating Officer, Brian Bevel https://www.linkedin.com/in/brian-bevel-92895ba/, and partner regularly with leaders across product, sales, finance, and people operations. You'll own our core legal work in-house, reduce the need for outside counsel, and know when specialized outside counsel is truly needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- First week: Get up to speed on our business model, current goals, and products. Learn about the product, SparkLoop, Subscriber Signals, and how creators get value from our connected ecosystem of apps and tools. Meet key internal stakeholders and our external counsel. Review our most common legal agreements, privacy questions, and customer security requests to assess where we have risk, opportunity, ambiguity, or recurring work that can be handled more efficiently.
- First month: Get your arms around active data processing, privacy, AI, and other legal initiatives, and build a "what's on deck" view of upcoming legal needs. Map the recurring privacy support questions arising across Kit—particularly around Subscriber Signals, and begin designing a scalable intake, guidance, and escalation system. Partner with Sales, Sponsorships, Security, Product, and Engineering to move faster without cutting corners. Take ownership of GDPR and data compliance vetting and establish a clear process for responding to customer security questionnaires.
- First six months: You’re the go-to partner for legal considerations across the business, particularly for our product, engineering, security, and GTM teams. Build scalable systems—such as playbooks, templates, intake processes, and self-service guidance—for answering recurring privacy, data-use, and compliance questions. Partner throughout the product lifecycle on initiatives and feature releases, with particular attention to Subscriber Signals and our connected ecosystem of products. Prioritize our biggest legal risks, reduce unnecessary reliance on outside counsel, and streamline legal workflows to increase speed, confidence, and self-service.
- First year: Help Kit operate at a higher level of legal maturity across privacy, compliance, product counsel, commercial contracts, and security support. Establish durable systems that allow teams to answer common questions independently while escalating higher-risk matters appropriately. Help us treat privacy, data, and compliance as strategic enablers—not just boxes to check—and significantly reduce our reliance on outside counsel for work we can handle effectively in-house.
WHAT WILL S.E.T. YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
Skills
- Deep expertise in data, compliance, and product—this is where you'll spend most of your time.
- Strong ability to navigate U.S. and European data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), including familiarity with data controller vs. processor distinctions and how they shape vendor and product decisions.
- Ability to translate privacy and compliance requirements into scalable playbooks, templates, intake processes, and self-service guidance
- Experience supporting customer security questionnaires and partnering effectively with security, sales, product, and engineering teams
- Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and the legal, privacy, and customer requirements associated with it, even if you haven't directly owned a certification process
- Understanding of intellectual property law, especially related to brand, content, and software
- Understanding of commercial contracts—you'll become the go-to person for these at Kit.
- Clear communicator and trusted advisor—able to simplify complexity and help others make informed decisions

- Experience as in-house counsel at a tech company or serving a tech portfolio at a top-tier firm that's well-known for their work with startups (e.g., Fenwick & West, Cooley)
- J.D. from an accredited law school in the United States
- Active member in good standing of a State Bar Association
Traits

- Deeply curious and business-oriented—you start by understanding the goals, then explore the smartest paths to get there.
- Collaborative partner who can navigate conflict productively
- Deep belief that creator success is our success—you consider both Kit and our customers in every recommendation
- A "how might we" problem-solver who finds creative, business-aligned paths through legal challenges

- A strongly risk-averse or "no-before-yes" mindset—we need you to help us move, not just stop us from tripping
- Thinking in a legal vacuum—if you're not factoring in our goals, numbers, or creators, your advice won't land

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your goal will be to build DACH into n8n's most predictable Enterprise sales region - developing a team of high-performing Enterprise AEs, instilling forecast and pipeline discipline, and creating a repeatable operating model that wins complex, multi-stakeholder deals
To make that happen, you'll be hands-on in coaching, deal inspection, and team development day-to-day, while staying close enough to strategic deals and customer executives to raise the bar on how we qualify, forecast, and win.
What you’ll be doing
DEVELOPING A HIGH-PERFORMING, PREDICTABLE DACH TEAM
- Coach and develop a team of Enterprise AEs through structured 1:1s, field coaching, and deal reviews – raising both the floor and the ceiling on individual performance
- Build a rigorous forecasting and pipeline management cadence that makes DACH's numbers predictable quarter over quarter, not dependent on late-quarter heroics
- Create a repeatable operating model – clear playbooks, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC-based deal inspection, and coaching rhythms – DACH's execution shouldn’t rely on you personally driving every strategic deal
- Hire, onboard, and scale the team over time, establishing career paths and succession plans as the region grows
SETTING THE STRATEGY FOR THE DACH TERRITORY
- Prioritize and run the DACH Enterprise territory with focus – balancing new logo pursuits with expansion plays where community signals are strong
- Set the strategy for the team's most complex enterprise cycles, from discovery to close, staying close enough to coach without taking the pen
- Elevate sales methodology adoption (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC), ensuring meticulous qualification, mutual action plans, and disciplined inspection of technical + business wins
BUILDING A STRATEGIC, MULTI-THREADED SELLING MOTION
- Build a strategic selling culture that shifts the team from “running opportunities” to multi-threaded, value-led enterprise execution
- Orchestrate executive engagement across DACH accounts – aligning economic buyers, champions, and technical evaluators to keep momentum and unblock deals
- Run high-quality deal reviews and QBRs that sharpen strategy, elevate coaching moments, and improve win rates, cycle time, and forecast accuracy
PARTNERING ACROSS THE BUSINESS
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, RevOps, Product) to refine messaging for technical buyers, strengthen the enterprise playbook, and remove friction in the sales process
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVES
- 🏆 Enterprise sales leadership: 5+ years in frontline sales management, leading ICs through complex, multi-threaded enterprise deals
- 🔎 MEDDIC/MEDDPICC mastery: Deep, practical command of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC and a track record coaching teams to adopt it with real inspection
- 📈 Forecast & pipeline rigor: Track record running a disciplined forecasting and pipeline management cadence that makes revenue predictable, not reactive
- 🧠 Strategic deal management: You’re fluent in qualification, mutual action plans, champion building, and executive alignment in longer-cycle deals
- 🎙️ Executive presence: You confidently engage senior stakeholders, run tight meetings, and set a high bar for clarity, urgency, and outcomes
- 🧑🏫 Coaching & talent development: You level up AEs through structured coaching, field observation, and actionable feedback
- 🧩 Multi-stakeholder navigation: You’re skilled at aligning technical and economic buyers, de-escalating conflict, and maintaining deal momentum
- 🇩🇪 DE location: You’re based in Germany and happy being on-site with customers
- 🔧 Technical-buyer credibility: Experience selling into technical stakeholders and navigating evaluation-heavy sales motions
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🖥️ Open-source / PLG experience: You understand how community and bottoms-up adoption influence enterprise outcomes and how to partner with that motion
- 🌉 Developer / infra SaaS background: Experience in DevOps, SecOps, IT Ops, data, infrastructure, or adjacent categories
- 💡 Scrappy startup mindset: You’ve scaled in environments where playbooks are evolving and you enjoy building structure without slowing teams down
- 📊 Operational excellence: Strong instincts for clean forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and turning data into coaching and better execution

🎯 Your main goal will be to turn n8n's pricing and packaging into a deliberate, data-informed growth lever - one that scales revenue and adoption across our entire go-to-market, from our 1.5 million-strong community to global Enterprise accounts.
To do so, here's what you'll own:
BUILD THE ANALYTICAL FOUNDATION FOR PRICING
- Build and own the model connecting unit economics, agent run cost, willingness-to-pay, gross margin, and customer value.
- Maintain competitive and market intelligence so our pricing keeps pace with a category that's shifting fast.
- Run pricing experiments and turn the results into documented, reusable learnings.
DESIGN OUR PRICING & PACKAGING ARCHITECTURE
- Shape plan design and packaging across our community, self-serve, and Enterprise tiers, plus add-ons like our startup and charity plans.
- Design pricing for new SKUs and consumption-based models as our product and cost-to-serve evolve around AI Assistant and n8n Connect.
- Build packaging frameworks and decision tools that product teams use directly to launch new features.
DRIVE AND ROLL OUT PRICING DECISIONS
- Lead cross-functional pricing decision-making and secure buy-in across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and Data.
- Own the rollout of major pricing changes end-to-end, from decision to launch to measured impact.
- Build and own our pricing frameworks: list pricing, discount guardrails, decision rubrics, grandfathering rules, and usage-based billing decisions.
Requirements
Must-have
- 📈 Pricing leadership in B2B SaaS: You have 6+ years in pricing, monetisation, or commercial strategy, including at least one full cycle leading a major pricing model transition — subscription to consumption, seat-based to usage-based, or a platform repricing.
- ⚡ Hands-on with modern pricing models: You've personally designed and rolled out consumption-based, outcome-based, or AI-native pricing at a company past $100M ARR.
- 🔀 Both self-serve and Enterprise motions: You've owned pricing on both sides of the funnel — self-serve/PLG (activation, conversion, tier design, funnel experimentation) and Enterprise, sales-led (packaging for large accounts, deal economics, discount governance). n8n monetises both, so fluency in one motion only isn't enough.
- 🧮 Deep analytical rigour: You build the financial model yourself and reason fluently about unit economics, cost-to-serve, gross margin, willingness-to-pay, and elasticity.
- 🔌 Billing fluency, technical and operational: You understand event metering, rating, entitlements, proration, overage, and revenue recognition well enough to design pricing that's actually operable — and you've partnered with a Billing function on invoicing, dunning, true-ups, and disputes.
- 🛠️ Empathy for technical users and buyers: You understand where, how, and why developers and technical buyers assign value across a product experience.
- 🧩 Frameworks over bottlenecks: You've built packaging frameworks and decision tools that product teams use independently, rather than routing every pricing decision through you.
- 🤝 Cross-functional influence: You bring Product, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Billing into alignment on contentious commercial decisions.
- 🧭 Motivated by scope, not headcount: You're energised by owning a global, high-stakes topic as an individual contributor, with analytical support from Data and RevOps and rollout support from Program Management.
Nice-to-have
- 🎓 Formal pricing training: You've been trained at Simon-Kucher or the pricing practice of another consultancy, and you bring that rigour with you.
- 🧑💻 Developer tools experience: You've priced products sold to engineers and technical teams.
- 🌍 Open source or freemium background: You know how to design pricing that converts a free community into paying customers without breaking trust.
WHY JOIN US?
At n8n, pricing won't be an afterthought argued about in the margins of someone else's roadmap - it'll be your function to build. You'll be our first dedicated pricing hire, which means low-hanging fruit everywhere and real scope to shape how a $5.2bn company monetises across community, self-serve, and Enterprise, in 100+ countries and across both cloud and self-hosted. You'll work directly with leaders in Product, Sales, Finance, and RevOps, and you'll see your decisions land in our ARR in months, not years. You'll join a supportive, remote-first team that values autonomy, experimentation, and continuous learning.

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
Your main goal will be to make it simple and reliable for customers to buy, pay for, and grow their use of n8n. You'll own the foundations of how n8n's commercial system works: licensing and entitlements, customer accounts, and the metering and billing platform for both Cloud and Enterprise. Today these live across several teams and two billing stacks; you'll bring them into one stable home that the rest of the company builds on.
This is a foundations role. You build the system that pricing and packaging decisions run on, rather than running price experiments yourself. To do so, here are your core responsibilities:
OWN THE LICENSING & BILLING STRATEGY & ROADMAP
- Define and communicate the product strategy and roadmap for Licensing & Billing in partnership with Engineering, Product leadership, Finance, and go-to-market.
- Prioritize foundational investments based on revenue integrity, enterprise needs, data correctness, and engineering effort, and make trade-offs explicit.
- Lead discovery with enterprise customers, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and RevOps to understand how n8n is bought, renewed, and grown today, and where that breaks.
LICENSING, ENTITLEMENTS & ACCOUNTS
- Own the license server and entitlement model: issuance, renewal, and validation across Cloud, self-hosted, air-gapped, and OEM deployments, with one source of truth for which plan or deal grants which features.
- Introduce "account" as a first-class product primitive (accounts, purchases, license keys, activations) and expose it as the API contract our customer-facing console and multi-instance management are built on.
- Productize the deal-to-entitlement flow so a closed deal in Salesforce creates or updates entitlements without manual steps.
METERING & BILLING PLATFORM
- Own usage metering and billing for Cloud and Enterprise, including subscription billing: what counts as a billable execution, quota consumption, and overage charging.
- Lead the migration off Paddle Classic and unify Cloud and Enterprise billing into one platform.
- Build the mechanics for usage-based enterprise billing and reliable overage charging.
CROSS-ORG ALIGNMENT
- Make the architecture and mechanism decisions (entitlement model, billing platform, enterprise invoicing path) and align closely with Finance and go-to-market on each of them. Every decision here touches money; you bring people along rather than inform them afterwards.
- Hold clear boundaries with adjacent teams: the customer console, execution limits, and access control live elsewhere; you own the data and mechanics they rely on.
- Establish clear success measures and keep the squad accountable for outcomes, not only delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
Must-haves
- Billing or licensing product experience: You have 6+ years in Product, with a substantial part spent owning a billing, licensing, entitlement, or quote-to-cash system at a B2B SaaS company.
- Shipped through Finance and RevOps: You've driven a cross-functional systems change where Finance, Sales Ops, and Engineering all had a say, and you got it live.
- Systems and data-model depth: You can design or critique an entity model, reason about reconciliation and idempotency in a sync, read an API contract, and explain why two systems reading the same events end up with different numbers.
- Attention to detail: You know that if the billing data is wrong, everything built on it inherits the error, and you sequence work accordingly.
- Prioritization under ambiguity: You make trade-offs explicit and connect foundational or data-quality work to commercial outcomes.
- Ownership and autonomy: You grab problems without being asked, fix what you see broken, and drive outcomes without waiting for direction.
- Exceptional communication: You're equally at home with engineers, the Finance team, and Sales, and you can make billing trade-offs legible to all of them.
- Enterprise reality: You understand what self-hosted, air-gapped, and OEM deployments mean for licensing and metering.
Nice-to-haves
- Usage-based billing: You've owned usage-based or hybrid (subscription plus usage) billing.
- Vendor billing stacks: You've worked hands-on with Paddle, Stripe, Chargebee, Zuora or similar, and know where they break at enterprise contract volume.
- Migration experience: You've run a billing-provider migration.
- Hands-on ability: You can read code, query data, or prototype, even if you're not shipping it.
- CRM integration: You've worked on Salesforce or CRM-to-billing integrations.
- Domain familiarity: You know workflow automation, agent orchestration, or open-source / developer-community products.
- Writing culture: You default to writing things down to create clarity and alignment.
Why join us?
At n8n, you'll be in the middle of the AI revolution. The shift from deterministic automation to agent autonomy is a genuinely open design space, and n8n has a credible claim to owning it. Every plan we sell, every enterprise contract, and every agent run that gets metered and billed runs on the foundation you own: licensing, entitlements, accounts, and the billing platform across Cloud and Enterprise. Your work directly shapes how n8n makes money and how easily customers can buy, grow, and trust what they pay for, from self-serve Cloud to air-gapped and OEM deployments.
You'll join one of Europe's fastest growing startups at the sweet spot: small enough to have real impact and be empowered, big enough that your work already reaches massive scale and serious enterprise customers. You'll work with experienced engineers, Finance, and go-to-market on problems where the details are the product, in an AI-native, empowered culture of humble, kind, yet driven and direct people, where you're hired to think, not just to execute. And with our fair-code model, a passionate open-source community gives you a direct feedback loop on everything you ship.

Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive. We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.
About the role
Hi, my name is Caitlin, Senior Manager, Technical Support at
Customer.io
, and I'm looking for an Email Deliverability Specialist to join our deliverability program within Technical Support. You'll help customers reach the inbox by diagnosing sending issues, advising on best practices, and guiding senders through an email ecosystem that keeps changing.
You'll be one of several deliverability experts on a team that shares knowledge across Technical Support, so your work reaches well beyond your own queue. You'll partner with Customer Success, Technical Support, and Engineering: taking customer calls, equipping CSMs for customer conversations, working through complex technical cases alongside Engineering, and turning what you see in tickets into documentation, training, and better processes.
You'll thrive here if you think about the health of the whole program, enjoy improving how work gets done, and are equally comfortable digging into a detailed case and having a direct conversation with a customer about acceptable use.
What we value
Empathy and curiosity:
You approach every customer with patience and a desire to dig deeper, especially when a conversation gets uncomfortable.
Clarity:
You explain complex technical concepts simply and help others do the same.
Collaboration:
You build strong partnerships across Support, Customer Success, and Engineering, and you treat customer outcomes as a shared goal.
Thinking at scale:
You look at how we do things today and see what could work better for the whole organization, then you help make it happen.
Continuous learning:
You stay ahead of evolving standards and see change as a chance to improve how we work.
What you'll do
Act as a trusted deliverability advisor to customers, handling complex cases through to full resolution and leading customer calls when a conversation needs it
Audit sender setup and monitor reputation across IPs and domains, using authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and BIMI, DNS configuration, and provider tools like Google Postmaster Tools, Yahoo Sender Hub, and Microsoft SNDS to diagnose blocklists, spam traps, and engagement drops
Work through highly technical issues with Engineering, taking ownership of the investigation first and sharing trends from customer cases with Product and Engineering
Identify acceptable use policy violations and spam complaints, hold clear and direct conversations with customers about compliance, and keep up with evolving standards (Gmail and Yahoo sender requirements, CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
Equip CSMs and Technical Support with the knowledge to handle deliverability conversations, through coaching, documentation, and training
Improve processes, tools, and one-to-many resources, such as help content, Academy course and proactive customer guidance, so deliverability support scales across the organization
What we're looking for
2-4 years of experience in email deliverability at a mid-size or large ESP, B2B SaaS company, or marketing automation platform, with exposure to deliverability at scale
Deep understanding of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI) and infrastructure (SMTP, MTAs, DNS), with the technical comfort to work through complex issues with Engineering
Proficiency with provider data feeds (Google Postmaster Tools, Yahoo Sender Hub, Microsoft SNDS) and third-party deliverability monitoring tools like Everest, MXToolbox, or similar, and the analytical skill to turn bounce, engagement, and blocklist data into clear recommendations
Working knowledge of email compliance and acceptable use standards, and comfort having direct conversations with customers who are sending outside of them
Experience building or improving processes, documentation, or training that help a support or deliverability team scale
Excellent written and verbal communication, including comfort leading customer calls and simplifying technical concepts for any audience
Located in the United States or Canada
Bonus: participation in deliverability communities (M3AAWG, ESPC, or similar) and experience partnering with Customer Success teams

About the role
Hi, I'm Aerie, Manager, Technical Support Tier I at
Customer.io
. I’m looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team based in Canada.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll communicate directly with our customers via our Support Center. Our team is especially excited to hear from folks with Technical Support backgrounds who have experience communicating technical tasks mostly over email—a strong ability to communicate in writing is more than nice to have.
On a day-to-day, you’ll triage a diversity of support tickets as well as work on process improvement, and conduct regular touch points with our Product and Customer Success teams. You'll also help new and existing customers get up and running with our product, diagnose tricky situations, and aid companies in achieving their business goals. Our TSEs have contact with more customers than anyone else in the company, so you’re our secret sauce to ensure we provide a remarkable customer experience. Our customers are core to everything we do (it’s in our name!) - so it's key to bring your passion to customers and help solve their problems to advocate for product improvements.
Today, our Technical Support team is powered by Zendesk for ticketing, Linear for bug tracking, and Zapier for automating support team workflows. We support our customers through email and live chat. While we mostly interact with each other through Notion and Slack, it’s not uncommon for us to jump on a Zoom or Roam pairing session or a video call to clarify customer scenarios or share tips to remedy customer issues.
Are you interested in growth opportunities? So are we. Our Technical Support Team offers various career paths, such as our Engineering, Product, or Customer Success Teams. We're looking for folks who want to develop professionally as
Customer.io
grows.
What we are looking for:
Located in Canada
Working hours align with Central or Mountain time zone
This role includes rotating weekend support coverage
Experience in a technical support role and/or customer-facing role
Familiarity or comfort with offering live channel support
An understanding of basic programming concepts (API, variables, if-else statements, loops, etc.). If you know some Javascript, too, that's even better!
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be motivated with a self-starter attitude
Previous work for a SaaS company or an understanding of technical platforms
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Experience with the Marketing Automation industry a plus or supporting email marketing/business communication tools!
About you:
You love technical problem-solving and demonstrate curiosity.
You enjoy helping others with your technical knowledge and take pride in your work.
You see every support interaction as an opportunity to improve the customer experience.
You take ownership of delivering results and get satisfaction from getting things done.
You’re passionate about learning new things.
You’re not afraid to ask questions if you’re confused about how something works.
You understand written communication is not always flawless and assume the best intentions during interactions with customers and your team. Empathy is one of your strongest attributes.
