About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Training and serving frontier AI models requires compute infrastructure at a scale and density that pushes past what conventional data center designs were built to handle. Anthropic's Data Center Infrastructure team is responsible for delivering that physical infrastructure — partnering with build partners, equipment manufacturers, and utilities to stand up facilities that can reliably power some of the largest accelerator clusters in the industry.
As a Data Center Electrical Engineer – Design, you'll own the electrical architecture of our facilities from the utility service entrance through to the rack — substation interface, medium- and high-voltage distribution, on-site generation and storage integration, UPS, switchgear, busway, and rack power. You'll develop and maintain the basis of design, reference architectures, and technical specifications that our build partners and A/E firms design against, and you'll be the point of technical authority when their drawings and calculations come back for review. You'll run the engineering studies — short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, load flow, and power quality — and you'll keep the architecture ahead of rapidly increasing rack densities and the unique load characteristics of large-scale ML training.
A central part of this role is speed-to-capacity through prefabrication: you'll shape Anthropic's offsite-manufactured electrical strategy — modular skids, e-houses, and prefabricated power assemblies — and drive its standardization across sites. You'll work closely with colleagues across the infrastructure team, with our hardware and compute teams to translate accelerator requirements into electrical design criteria, and with supply chain to qualify and diversify regional equipment vendors. Expect roughly 10–25% travel for design reviews, partner and vendor meetings, factory witness testing, and site visits to support commissioning and startup.
Responsibilities
Electrical design & engineering
Lead the electrical design of critical data center infrastructure across the US portfolio, including the utility interface and substation, site medium- and high-voltage distribution, generators, UPS, switchgear, transformers, busway, and grounding
Develop and maintain Anthropic's electrical basis of design, reference architectures, and technical specifications for critical power distribution — covering switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, busway, and rack power delivery — producing designs that meet our reliability and maintainability requirements while staying within budgetary targets
Perform and validate engineering studies — including short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, load flow, and power quality analysis — and use the findings to steer topology, redundancy, equipment-selection, and protection-setting decisions
Design and plan data center hall power distribution layouts for newly allocated spaces in coordination with the telecom, mechanical and cooling design
Prefabrication & modular delivery
Drive Anthropic's prefabricated and modular electrical strategy — developing modular skids, e-houses, and prefabricated power assemblies, and partnering with external engineering and manufacturing teams on a productization roadmap that accelerates deployment and reduces onsite labor
Design for offsite manufacture and onsite assembly: define the interfaces between prefabricated components and site-built work, and the electrical interfaces and switchover points for temporary-to-permanent power sequencing
Drive standardization of modular electrical designs across sites to compress deployment timelines while preserving flexibility for site-specific constraints and evolving hardware generations
Partner, vendor & utility coordination
Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify and qualify major electrical equipment, and partner with supply chain to build a diversified vendor base that mitigates lead-time and single-source risk
Work with utilities and interconnection/transmission operators (e.g., ISOs/RTOs) to define site utility service and interconnection requirements, and with local authorities having jurisdiction to ensure designs comply with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC), NFPA, IEEE, UL/ANSI, and local requirements
Work with Anthropic's hardware and compute teams to translate accelerator power, density, and power-quality requirements into electrical design criteria, and keep the reference architecture aligned with upcoming hardware generations
Present findings and design positions to internal stakeholders, build partners, and operations teams through clear reports and presentations, and defend them under challenge
Design review & quality
Review and approve electrical design packages, calculations, submittals, and shop drawings from build partners and MEP consultants; track clarifications, deviations, and exceptions against the basis of design, and hold the line on capacity, reliability, maintainability, and safety requirements
Perform technical due diligence and design reviews on data center developer and partner projects — evaluating their electrical single-lines, equipment selections, studies, and specifications against Anthropic's reliability, maintainability, and capacity requirements
Define project electrical scope and serve as the design authority on RFIs and field changes that affect design intent during procurement and construction
Support factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and startup — reviewing test procedures and results against design intent, participating on site for key milestones, and closing as-built changes back into the reference design
Manage concurrent projects across multiple geographies
Continuously improve Anthropic's internal electrical design standards, tooling, and delivery practices, and act as a technical leader within the engineering group and across the internal and external teams that support our data centers
You may be a good fit if you
Have 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in mission-critical facilities, with substantial time spent on data center or other high-availability electrical distribution design — from concept through construction documents and into commissioning support
Have deep familiarity with US electrical codes and standards — including the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC), NFPA 70E, IEEE standards (e.g., 1584 for arc flash), and UL/ANSI equipment standards (e.g., UL 891, UL 1558) — and with utility interconnection processes
Have hands-on experience producing and reviewing electrical construction documents, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications, and can interpret data center floor plans and technical layouts with confidence
Have strong knowledge of power distribution and cooling infrastructure in high-availability data center environments
Are fluent in power systems analysis and comfortable running or critically reviewing studies in tools such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower
Understand critical power topologies (2N, N+1, distributed redundant, block redundant) and can articulate the trade-offs between them for different reliability and cost targets
Have working knowledge of HV/MV substations, on-site generation, and energy storage integration, and how each shapes the overall electrical architecture
Have hands-on experience with prefabricated and modular data center electrical infrastructure — design for offsite manufacture, modular skids/e-houses, and the interfaces between prefabricated components and onsite assembly
Have worked directly with electrical equipment manufacturers, A/E consultants, and contractors, and can evaluate products and designs on technical merit, not just datasheet claims
Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, or have equivalent practical experience; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is valued but not required
Communicate clearly with both technical peers and non-specialist stakeholders, and are comfortable defending a design position under scrutiny from partners and internal reviewers
Strong candidates may also have
Experience owning the electrical basis of design or reference architecture for a hyperscale or large colocation program, and driving its adoption across multiple sites or by external build partners
A track record building modular prefabricated products in the electrical or mechanical scope of a data center, and driving designs toward offsite manufacturing
Background in medium-/high-voltage distribution, on-site generation, or battery energy storage system (BESS) integration, and how those shape the building-side electrical design
Exposure to liquid-cooled infrastructure and its implications for electrical room layout and load distribution
Prior work at a hyperscaler, colocation provider, or MEP consultancy serving large data center clients
Direct project experience delivering data centers in multiple US markets (e.g., Virginia, Texas, Arizona, Ohio, Oregon)

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
About the Role
You’ll join a small infrastructure team with broad, shared ownership — the engineers who keep Niantic Spatial running. The team covers the cloud platform, the developer tooling every engineer depends on, and the edge services our customers’ requests pass through. You’ll work across SRE, infrastructure, and developer platform alongside teammates who know the stack well, and you’ll grow into owning parts of it yourself. Because every engineer here builds on what this team provides, your work will also shape how the whole engineering org builds, ships, and operates.
What You'll Do
- Cloud and SRE: Build and maintain cloud infrastructure as code, and help improve reliability through monitoring, alerting, and service-level objectives.
- Developer Platform: Help run our source control, CI/CD pipelines, and build infrastructure so engineers can ship quickly and safely.
- Production Operations: Share on-call, take part in incident response and follow-up, and automate away repetitive operational work.
- Edge and Delivery: Help run the edge API gateway, CDN, and authentication and authorization systems with the rest of the team.
- Compute and GPU Management: Help provision and monitor compute and GPU capacity across teams.
- AI-Assisted Operations: Use AI tools to help build, automate, and maintain our infrastructure, and help shape how the team uses them.
What You'll Bring
- Years of Experience: 3+ years in infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience managing infrastructure as code with tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or another major cloud provider in production.
- CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Containers: Production experience with containers and container orchestration, such as Kubernetes.
- Core Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or C++, plus shell scripting and Linux systems.
- AI in Your Workflow: Comfort using AI-assisted tools in your engineering work, or a strong interest in building that habit. We’ll help you ramp up on how we use AI here.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with API gateways, load balancers, or CDNs.
- Familiarity with modern authentication and authorization, such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or cloud IAM.
- Experience with GPU workloads or ML infrastructure.
- Experience with message queuing systems.

At the scale we build, our campuses are typically served by dedicated high-voltage substations and a medium-voltage distribution network that may also integrate on-site generation and battery energy storage — and the protection, control, and automation layer is what keeps all of it selective, coordinated, and observable.
As a Data Center Substation, Protection & Automation Engineer, you'll own the protection and automation architecture across Anthropic's US portfolio — from the utility point of interconnection (POI) through the HV/MV substation, the MV distribution loop, and down into LV switchgear. You'll develop and maintain our protection philosophy and reference relay settings, run and review the short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies that underpin them, design the substation automation and SCADA architecture, and define how relays and meters integrate into the electrical power monitoring system (EPMS) — giving operators real-time visibility and sequence-of-events data when something trips. You'll also be our technical lead on the protection side of utility interconnection — working relay settings, transfer-trip, and ride-through requirements with transmission owners and ISOs/RTOs.
Protection engineering and substation automation are the core of this role; substation physical design is a strong plus but not a prerequisite — we'd like to hear from protection and P&C engineers who have spent their careers on relays, schemes, and studies even if they haven't owned a substation general arrangement. You'll work closely with colleagues across the infrastructure team, our build partners' A/E firms, relay and switchgear vendors, and utility protection groups. Expect roughly 20–35% travel for witnessing factory acceptance and relay testing, and supporting site energization and commissioning.
Responsibilities
Protection engineering
Own Anthropic's protection philosophy and basis of design across the electrical system — HV substation, MV distribution, generator and energy-storage interties, and LV switchgear — and maintain the reference relay settings and protection one-line templates our build partners design against
Specify protective relays and develop relay settings for transformer, feeder, bus, generator, motor, and arc-flash protection applications, working across major platforms (e.g., SEL, GE Multilin, ABB, Siemens, Schneider)
Perform and critically review short-circuit, protective-device coordination, and arc-flash studies; use findings to steer equipment selection, settings, and incident-energy mitigation
Implement automatic transfer, load-shed, and restoration schemes in protection and automation logic, and make sure they stay secure and coordinated under every credible contingency
Review protection and control design packages, relay settings calculations, and coordination studies from build partners and A/E firms against our basis of design, and drive closure on deviations and exceptions
Substation automation & SCADA
Design the substation automation architecture for each site — IEC 61850 station and process bus, GOOSE messaging, RTUs/gateways, local HMI, sequence-of-events recording, and time synchronization — and drive standardization of that architecture across the portfolio
Integrate protective relays, meters, and switchgear controls into the electrical power monitoring system (EPMS) and substation SCADA; define electrical points lists and event/waveform capture, applying the site alarm and HMI standards
Help define the network topology, redundancy, and cybersecurity boundaries between substation automation, EPMS, and the facility BMS/DCIM layer, and how protection events surface to operations
Evaluate and qualify relay, RTU, gateway, and EPMS platforms on technical merit, and work with supply chain to build a diversified vendor base that mitigates lead-time and single-source risk
Substation design & utility interface
Review HV/MV substation design packages from build partners — single-line and three-line diagrams, bus configuration, general arrangement, equipment specifications, grounding-grid design, and control-building layout — and confirm the protection and control design is buildable and maintainable
Work with local utilities, transmission owners, and ISOs/RTOs on interconnection protection requirements — relay settings submittals, transfer-trip and communications-assisted schemes, POI study review, and protection settings that satisfy ride-through and grid-code requirements
Review the protection and control interface for on-site generation and battery energy storage interconnections, including anti-islanding, synchronizing, and intertie protection
Support NERC PRC compliance for applicable facilities — settings documentation, misoperation analysis, and periodic maintenance and testing basis
Testing, commissioning & standards
Develop relay test plans and factory and site acceptance test procedures for protection and automation systems, and witness FAT, relay secondary-injection testing, GOOSE messaging and end-to-end scheme testing, and integrated systems testing
Review the protection and control steps of energization and switching methods of procedure (MOPs), support first-energization of substations and MV distribution, and resolve protection and control issues found in the field
Lead root-cause analysis of protection operations and misoperations using relay event records, sequence-of-events data, and disturbance records, and feed findings back into settings and standards
Build and continuously improve Anthropic's internal protection and automation standards — settings templates, scheme logic libraries, test procedures, and commissioning checklists — so each new site starts from a proven baseline
You may be a good fit if you
Have 10+ years of experience in power system protection engineering, substation automation, or substation design for utility, heavy-industrial, or mission-critical facilities
Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, or have equivalent practical experience; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is valued but not required
Have deep, hands-on expertise applying and setting protective relays for transformers, feeders, buses, generators, and switchgear, and are fluent in at least one major relay platform (e.g., SEL, GE Multilin, ABB, Siemens)
Are fluent in short-circuit, protective-device coordination, and arc-flash analysis and comfortable running or critically reviewing studies in tools such as SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, ASPEN, or CAPE
Have hands-on experience integrating protective relays into substation automation or SCADA systems using protocols such as DNP3, Modbus, or IEC 61850, and understand RTU/gateway and sequence-of-events architecture
Have worked on utility interconnection protection — relay settings submittals, transfer-trip or communications-assisted schemes, or point-of-interconnection protection requirements — from either the utility or the customer side
Can read, interpret, and mark up single-line and three-line diagrams, AC and DC schematics, relay panel drawings, and wiring diagrams with confidence
Have developed relay test plans and witnessed factory acceptance testing, secondary-injection testing, or field commissioning of protection and control systems
Are familiar with the codes and standards that govern protection and substation work — such as the IEEE C37 series, IEEE 1584, NFPA 70/70E, and (for utility-connected or bulk-electric-system facilities) NERC PRC reliability standards
Communicate clearly with both technical peers and non-specialist stakeholders, and are results-oriented, with a bias toward practical solutions and a willingness to pick up work outside your core remit when the team needs it
Strong candidates may also have
HV/MV substation physical design experience — general arrangement, bus configuration, power transformer and HV breaker specification, grounding-grid design per IEEE 80, insulation coordination, and control-building layout
Experience with protection and control for on-site generation (gas turbines, reciprocating engines, fuel cells) and battery energy storage systems, including anti-islanding, synchronizing, and microgrid transfer schemes
Background in data center, hyperscaler, or other high-availability electrical distribution, and familiarity with critical-power topologies (2N, N+1, distributed redundant)
Experience owning NERC PRC compliance evidence for a generation or transmission asset — settings basis documentation, misoperation reporting, and PRC-005 maintenance programs
Proficiency with vendor relay engineering tools such as SEL AcSELerator, GE EnerVista, ABB PCM600, or Siemens DIGSI, and with IEC 61850 system configuration tools
Designed IEC 61850 station- or process-bus systems with GOOSE-based protection or interlocking schemes
Prior work at a utility, relay or switchgear manufacturer, protection-engineering consultancy, or hyperscaler serving large-load interconnections

The loads involved are large enough — and arrive fast enough — that utility supply alone often can't meet the need on the timeline required, and the step-load behavior of large accelerator clusters creates power-quality and ride-through demands that conventional backup-generation designs weren't built for. Anthropic's Data Center Infrastructure team is responsible for solving that problem: delivering facilities that can be energized early, ride through grid disturbances, and present a well-behaved load at the point of interconnection (POI).
As a Data Center Power Generation & Microgrids Engineer, you'll own the behind-the-meter generation and storage architecture for Anthropic's data center portfolio. That means the on-site generation fleet — reciprocating engine gensets, gas turbines, fuel cells — and the battery energy storage systems that buffer load steps and provide ride-through. It means the microgrid layer that ties them together: islanding and resynchronization, black-start, load-shedding, and generation dispatch. And it means the grid side: interconnection studies and agreements, IEEE 1547/2800 compliance, and power quality at the point of interconnection. You'll also own our temporary- and bridging-generation strategies — the plans that let a site energize and start serving load before permanent utility service is available, and transition cleanly once it is.
This is a deeply cross-functional role. You'll work closely with colleagues across the infrastructure team on where and how generation and storage tie into the site electrical distribution, controls, and SCADA, and with our hardware and compute teams to understand the load characteristics you're designing against. You'll be Anthropic's technical counterpart to on-site generation providers, BESS integrators, utilities, and ISOs/RTOs. Expect roughly 20–35% travel for design reviews, factory witness testing, and site startup.
Responsibilities
On-site generation engineering
Own Anthropic's behind-the-meter generation architecture across the portfolio — prime-mover selection and sizing (reciprocating engines, gas turbines, fuel cells), paralleling topology, redundancy, fuel systems, and emissions controls — and maintain the generation basis of design and technical specifications that build partners and generation providers design against
Set the day-one vs. day-N plant sizing and expansion strategy — what the plant needs on day one so it can be expanded or augmented later, and how to add units, storage, or a grid tie to a system already running
Characterize the data center load for external generation partners — step changes, ramps, oscillation, fault behavior, and non-IT load — so providers can size and tune their plant against the real duty
Model generation response against the load profile of large-scale ML training — step-load acceptance, block loading, transient frequency and voltage response, load rejection — and set the acceptance criteria (e.g., per ISO 8528-5) that generation packages are tested against
Develop temporary- and bridging-generation strategies that deliver early site energization ahead of permanent utility service, including the sequencing, protection, and controls changes needed to transition from temporary to permanent power without stranding equipment or capacity
Ensure generation designs meet NFPA 37, NFPA 110 where the plant provides emergency or legally required standby power, fuel-gas and fuel-storage codes (e.g., NFPA 54, NFPA 30), and applicable emissions requirements, and coordinate with environmental and permitting counterparts on the technical inputs to air permits
Energy storage & microgrid architecture
Size and specify battery energy storage systems for ride-through, step-load buffering, and power-quality support — including cell chemistry and enclosure selection, inverter selection (grid-forming vs. grid-following), UL 9540 listing, UL 9540A large-scale fire test data, and NFPA 855 installation requirements — and own the thermal and fire-protection interfaces
Define the site microgrid topology and operating modes — grid-parallel, islanded, and black-start — and the transition logic between them, including load-shedding schemes, resynchronization criteria, and the conditions under which the site separates from and reconnects to the utility
Specify the functional requirements for the microgrid controller — generation dispatch, set-point coordination across rotating and inverter-based sources, mode management — and drive its implementation, testing, and integration into site SCADA and the electrical power monitoring system (EPMS)
Help define the protection and control requirements for generation and storage sources so that interconnection protection, anti-islanding, and source-transfer schemes are consistent from the generator terminals through the point of interconnection
Grid interconnection & power quality
Lead the technical side of utility interconnection for sites with on-site generation or storage — interconnection applications, studies, and agreements, ISO/RTO processes, IEEE 1547/2800 compliance, and interconnection protection
Own power quality at the point of interconnection — flicker per IEEE 1453, harmonics per IEEE 519, voltage regulation, reactive-power and power-factor requirements — and design the generation, storage, and filtering mitigations needed to keep the site within its interconnection limits under real training-load behavior
Run or critically review the power-system studies that support interconnection and microgrid design — load flow, short-circuit contribution from rotating and inverter-based sources, transient stability, motor-starting and step-load studies, and electromagnetic-transient studies where inverter controls matter
Vendor diligence & delivery
Lead technical due diligence on on-site generation providers, BESS integrators, and microgrid-controller vendors — evaluating equipment and controls on engineering merit, stress-testing performance and availability guarantees, and reviewing proposed architectures against Anthropic's basis of design
Define the technical performance terms in energy-services agreements with on-site generation providers — availability, power quality, ramp, and ride-through, each with a definition, meter, test protocol, and acceptance criteria — working with energy commercial and legal counterparts
Review and disposition design packages, submittals, shop drawings, and deviation requests from generation providers and their EPCs, and hold partners to Anthropic's reliability and maintainability requirements
Support commissioning of generation, storage, and microgrid systems — witnessing factory and site acceptance tests, defining and observing integrated systems tests (islanding, resynchronization, black-start, load-step), and resolving field issues against design intent
Manage concurrent generation and microgrid scopes across multiple sites, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Anthropic's generation and interconnection design standards as the portfolio and the technology both evolve
You may be a good fit if you
Have 10+ years of engineering experience in power generation, microgrids, battery energy storage, or utility interconnection, with substantial time spent on on-site or distributed generation for mission-critical, data center, or large industrial loads, and deep hands-on delivery experience in at least one of these areas (generation, storage, microgrids, or interconnection)
Have deep hands-on experience with one or more generation technologies — reciprocating engine gensets (diesel and natural gas), gas turbines, or fuel cells — including sizing, paralleling, fuel systems, and emissions controls
Understand the thermal generation asset classes — reciprocating engines across the size range (sub-MW through 10–20 MW units), small- and medium-frame combustion turbines, and combined cycles — and how each responds to fast load changes and holds stable islanded operation
Understand battery energy storage sizing for a defined duty (ride-through, load-step buffering, peak shaving), inverter selection (grid-forming vs. grid-following), UL 9540 listing, UL 9540A test data, and NFPA 855 installation requirements
Understand microgrid architecture end to end — islanding detection and transition, resynchronization, black-start, load-shedding, and generation dispatch
Are fluent in interconnection standards and processes — IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, utility interconnection requirements, and ISO/RTO study and queue processes
Are comfortable running or critically reviewing power-system studies — load flow, short-circuit, transient stability, and power quality — in tools such as ETAP, SKM, PSS®E, PSCAD, or EasyPower
Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related field, or have equivalent practical experience; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is valued but not required
Have worked directly with generation OEMs, BESS integrators, generation-as-a-service providers, or utilities, and can evaluate equipment and proposals on technical merit rather than datasheet claims
Communicate clearly with technical peers, utilities, regulators, and non-specialist stakeholders, and are results-oriented with a bias toward practical solutions and a willingness to pick up work outside your core remit when the team needs it
Strong candidates may also have
Designed or delivered battery energy storage systems at MW scale
Specified or commissioned a microgrid controller for a site that can island and resynchronize
Taken at least one large load or generation interconnection from application through agreement
HV/MV substation design experience — main one-line development, equipment specification, grounding, and layout — since on-site generation and storage tie in at the substation and the two scopes are tightly coupled
A protection-engineering background covering generation and interconnection protection — relay selection and settings, anti-islanding schemes, and coordination between on-site sources and utility protection
Experience integrating renewable generation (solar PV, wind) with storage into hybrid behind-the-meter plants
Experience on the technical side of air permitting for stationary generation (e.g., Title V, NSR/PSD, or state equivalents) and emissions-control equipment selection
Electromagnetic-transient (EMT) modeling experience in PSCAD or EMTP for inverter-based resource and microgrid-transition studies
Direct experience with data center, hyperscaler, or other large-campus microgrids, or at a generation provider, BESS integrator, or developer serving those customers
A track record of authoring generation or interconnection reference designs or standards that were adopted across multiple sites or by external partners

AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

Provectus is a Premier AWS partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner, helping enterprises across Financial Services and Life Sciences design, build, and operate production AI systems. Our Forward Deployed Engineering model lets us embed with clients and deliver AI outcomes, not just advice. With offices in North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we partner with clients worldwide and are obsessed with reimagining how they operate and compete.
We are looking for an Alliances Team Lead to own and grow Provectus's most strategic partnerships: Anthropic and AWS. This is a build-and-lead role — you will create the programs for our alliances function from the ground up.
On the Anthropic side, you will run partner activation programs end to end: identify target accounts, align scope with Anthropic partner teams, coordinate delivery, and ensure funding milestones and closeout requirements are met. You will grow our standing in the Claude Partner Network and be the person inside Anthropic who advocates for Provectus.
On the AWS side, you will manage the alliance, maintaining AI and generative AI competency requirements, keeping Premier Tier standing current, and building the co-sell motion with AWS field teams. There is also an opportunity to develop early-stage partnerships with GCP and others as the ecosystem evolves.
You will lead a team and work directly with Provectus engineering, SO, and marketing leadership to turn partner programs into measurable pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Anthropic partnership
Own the Anthropic partnership end-to-end — build and scale partner activation programs, manage funded enablement engagements from scoping through completion and reimbursement.
Create repeatable playbooks for partner-funded customer activations: identify target accounts, align scope with Anthropic partner teams, coordinate delivery, and ensure funding milestones are met.
Grow Provectus's standing in the Claude Partner Network; track program changes, tier requirements, and new co-marketing opportunities.
Develop named executive relationships at Anthropic — field leadership, partner success, and product teams — who actively advocate for Provectus in joint accounts.
AWS alliance
Manage the AWS alliance day-to-day — keep Provectus current on Generative AI competency requirements, renewals, and program changes; maintain Premier Tier standing.
Build and expand co-sell motion with AWS field teams — drive opportunity registration, joint account planning, and pipeline reviews with AWS partner sellers.
Manage AWS funding programs; ensure Provectus maximises available program benefits.
Team and cross-functional leadership
Lead and develop a team of partner managers; set priorities, coach on partner engagement, and build the operating cadence for the alliances function.
Work with sales, marketing, and delivery to turn partner programs into pipeline — co-marketing campaigns, joint solution offerings, and partner-sourced revenue.
Represent Provectus at executive briefings and ecosystem events; bring relevant partner intelligence back to leadership.
Ecosystem expansion
Identify and develop early-stage partnerships with GCP and other emerging AI ecosystem players as the market evolves.
Track the competitive alliance landscape — which SI competitors hold which partner tiers, where there are white spaces Provectus can occupy.
What You Need to Succeed:
5–8+ years in technology alliances, partnerships, or channel roles, with meaningful time spent managing a hyperscaler relationship (Anthropic, AWS strongly preferred).
Direct experience with partner programs: competencies, funding programs (MDF, MAP, or similar), co-sell mechanisms, and partner portals — hands-on, not just supervisory.
Track record of building alliance programs from scratch — not just inheriting and running an existing book.
Experience leading and developing a team; comfortable setting direction and coaching without a large management structure behind you.
Comfortable operating at executive level with partners and customers, and hands-on enough to manage program mechanics personally when needed.
Strong written and verbal communication — able to translate partner programs into clear internal playbooks and joint value propositions.
Familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem — enough to have credible conversations about implementation approaches and enterprise AI adoption challenges.
Vertical depth in Financial Services or Life Sciences — Anthropic's and Provectus's primary enterprise target markets.
Experience managing GCP, OpenAI, or other emerging AI ecosystem partnerships is preferred.
Willingness to travel (up to 40%) for customer meetings, executive briefings, onsite workshops, conferences, and other business development activities.
What success looks like:
Anthropic activation programs running as a repeatable, funded motion with a growing pipeline of customer engagements quarter over quarter.
AWS AI competency requirements current, with Premier Tier standing maintained and co-sell pipeline growing quarter over quarter.
Named executive relationships at both partners who actively advocate for Provectus in joint accounts.
An alliances team with clear ownership, operating cadence, and measurable partner-sourced revenue contribution.

High-impact role with direct visibility to leadership.
Strong earning potential with performance-based bonuses.
Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI and cloud solutions.

About the team
Anthropic's Life Sciences team is building a world-class research group focused on making fundamental biological discoveries. The team combines cutting-edge AI with hands-on biological research, positioning Anthropic at the forefront of AI-accelerated scientific discovery.
About the role
We are hiring a Research Operations Lead to be the operational backbone of our team: the person who makes sure scientists can walk in every morning and get straight to science. You'll take on the operational systems we've started — procurement, inventory, safety, equipment, space — make them better, and scale them as the lab and its needs grow. We're hiring for trajectory as much as for what you've already done: the scope of this role will grow with the size of the team, and we want someone who's excited by that. This role is a rare opportunity to build the operational foundation of Anthropic's biology team and to grow with it. The systems you put in place will shape how a frontier AI company does experimental biology for years to come. If you're energized by high-ownership operational work in the service of ambitious science, we'd love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
Own day-to-day operations end to end: ordering and inventory, equipment scheduling and upkeep, consumables, shipping and receiving, and general space organization
Build on and extend the operational systems a growing group needs: procurement workflows, inventory and sample tracking, equipment maintenance and calibration schedules, onboarding and training, SOPs
Manage facilities and space: coordinate buildouts, moves, and equipment installs; act as the primary interface to building management, contractors, and Anthropic's central Workplace and IT teams
Own the operating budget: track spend against plan, run the capital equipment purchasing process, and partner with Finance on forecasting and reporting
Manage vendor and supplier relationships: including contract research organizations: source and qualify vendors, negotiate quotes and service contracts, schedule preventive maintenance and field-service visits, and hold suppliers to their commitments
Minimum qualifications
Have managed the day-to-day operations of a life sciences lab — equipment, inventory, ordering, safety, space, and scheduling
Have hands-on procurement and vendor management experience: sourcing suppliers, negotiating quotes and service contracts, and coordinating field-service and maintenance technicians
Have tracked and managed an operating budget: purchase orders, invoices, spend-vs-plan, and capital requests
Preferred qualifications
Are the person everyone in your group already comes to when something is broken, missing, late, or unclear — and you like being that person
Enjoy engaging with scientists on the science itself — you want to understand what's happening at the bench well enough to anticipate needs
Are results-oriented and practical and pick up slack even when it goes outside your job description
Enjoy a role that stretches from the hands-on to the strategic, and are comfortable when priorities shift quickly and feedback is direct
Lab operations or lab management experience in a biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or life-sciences startup environment, including exposure to how those organizations build new functions and processes end to end
A degree in the life sciences and prior research experience at the bench
People-management experience: hiring, onboarding, and supervising operations or facilities staff
Experience supporting a team through significant growth in headcount, footprint, or capability, including utilities, permitting, and equipment
Familiarity with liquid-handling platforms, including their service, calibration, and consumable needs
Experience selecting and administering inventory management, sample tracking, equipment scheduling, or ELN systems
Capital equipment lifecycle management experience — evaluation, purchase, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), service contracts, and decommissioning
Experience with regulated shipping and receiving of biological materials, including import/export, permits, and material transfer agreements
Experience using AI tools for efficient team and process management (e.g., Claude Cowork)
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$210,000
—
$260,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

Money is moving onto the internet, and the shift has a name:
Open Money.
This is money that is open, portable, agentic, and owned by you. MetaMask spent the last ten years building it; with 100M+ downloads, users in ~190 countries, and trillions in cumulative transaction volume, it's the most trusted self-custodial financial platform on the internet. Now we're building the operating system for your money: one place to hold, move, grow, and use anything you own. Join a remote-first, global team rebuilding how money works: a problem that touches everyone, every day.
About People & Talent
People and Talent support the entire MetaMask community. We strive to be the destination employer of choice for our ecosystem. That goal is embedded in all the work we do to attract, retain and support our amazing talent. By joining our team you'll be working with a diverse group of incredible individuals who put 'people first' and are designing and building the workplace of the future.
This role sits within our People Operations, Data & Systems ('PODS') team, which operates as a cohesive, global team within People & Talent. We drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle by streamlining processes, strengthening programs and policies, and building scalable, intuitive systems that empower teams to do their best work.
We delight our customers (employees, managers, and partners) by delivering a dynamic and engaging people experience that evolves with creativity, curiosity, and accountability. Through intentional process design, thoughtful automation, and a commitment to service excellence, PODS builds scalable, sustainable people programs that support our teams and the business.
What you'll do
As a Senior People Operations Associate, you will be a day-to-day owner of global People Operations, serving as our subject matter expert for Europe, while also contributing to the programs and systems work of the PODS team and leading People Operations projects from scoping through delivery. You will manage the employee lifecycle from pre-boarding through offboarding, administer leaves, keep employee data accurate in our HR systems, and help ensure our practices remain compliant with local labor law and GDPR. Just as importantly, you will look for ways to make that work more scalable by documenting processes, enabling self-service, and applying automation and AI wherever they improve accuracy, efficiency, and the employee experience.
Employee Lifecycle Operations
Manage end-to-end lifecycle processes globally, including pre-boarding, onboarding, employee changes, internal transfers, and offboarding.
Prepare and process employment contracts, amendments, and new-hire documentation in line with local requirements, partnering with Legal where needed.
Administer parental, medical, and other statutory and company leaves, as well as benefits, across multiple countries.
Coordinate with Payroll on hires, terminations, compensation changes, and leaves to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Partner with Employer of Record (EOR) providers and other external vendors (such as payroll, benefits, and immigration counsel) to onboard, support, and manage employees, including in countries where we do not have a local entity.
Support immigration and relocation processes in partnership with external counsel, including tracking work authorization and ensuring documentation is complete.
HR Systems, Data & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS (ADP Workforce Now), performing regular audits, reconciliations, and data cleanup.
Serve as the subject matter expert for European labor law and data privacy requirements, including GDPR, and help ensure compliance across the countries where we operate, escalating risks appropriately.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on policy, leave, and process questions, balancing empathy with compliance.
Process Improvement, Automation & Documentation
Identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes and propose or implement automation and AI-enabled solutions, particularly for employee self-service and routine request management.
Create and maintain clear documentation, including guides, FAQs, and process maps, that enable employees, managers, and the People team to self-serve.
Lead and own global and regional People projects end to end, from scoping through delivery, such as system enhancements, policy rollouts, and support for new entity openings, working with Finance, Legal, and Payroll.
Would be great if you brought this to the role
People Operations & Compliance
Experience in People/HR Operations in a global or multi-country environment, ideally in a fast-paced or scaling organization.
Strong working knowledge of UK and European employment practices, statutory leave, and GDPR / UK GDPR considerations.
Hands-on experience with onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and leave administration.
Familiarity with immigration processes and global hiring or relocation support is a plus.
Experience working with Employer of Record (EOR) providers and other third-party vendors, including managing vendor relationships and resolving issues across multiple providers.
Experience drafting, updating, and maintaining employee policies and documentation.
Systems, Data & Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with an HRIS, ideally ADP Workforce Now.
Strong attention to detail and a track record of maintaining data integrity through audits and reconciliations.
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivot tables, data validation) for reporting and analysis.
Comfort experimenting with automation and AI tools, such as workflows, bots, scripting, or AI-enabled features within existing tools.
Collaboration & Communication
Clear, professional communication with employees, managers, and cross-functional partners such as Payroll and Legal.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests, anticipating bottlenecks before they affect deadlines.
Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
A service-oriented mindset with the ability to balance responsiveness with thoughtful, scalable solutions.
Experience & Background
5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Administration, or a related role.
Extensive experience supporting employees in the UK and Europe, along with exposure to other regions, is strongly preferred.
Fluency in English is required; a second major European language is a plus.
Comfortable working independently and driving work from idea to execution.
Experience leading or owning projects from scoping through delivery, including coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and driving work to completion.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐️ WHY WE ARE HIRING ⭐️
We’re opening an Enterprise Sales Team Lead role in France to lead a growing team of 4 Senior Account Executives, who are in charge of acquiring customers with more than 3,000 employees, including all CAC40 companies.
In this role, you will own acquisition on the Enterprise segment in France and run the business end‑to‑end: you will be hands-on on the field while coaching and scaling a team of Account Executives to win this market.
This position sits at the heart of our growth ambition: We have just passed the one million member milestone – and this is only the beginning! We’re accelerating acquisition in France and doubling down on our portfolio — and the Enterprise segment is one of the core pillars of that plan.
ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE SEGMENT
- Perimeter: companies of 3000+ employees
- Verticals: all Verticals (Tech, Retail, Industrial Companies etc)
- Total Addressable Market: ~7M members in France
WHY ENTERPRISE SALES IS EXCITING AT ALAN
- Diverse workforce: Mix of 60% cadres / 40% non-cadres, often with subsidiaries or multi-site operations, ranging from highly tech-savvy employees to those requiring digital adoption support.
- Critical challenges: Multi-stakeholder decision processes involving HRD, CFO, CEO, Payroll, CSE, Legal, Purchasing, Comp & Ben, Accounting, Brokers, Unions, long sales cycles (multi-year conversations), RFP processes requiring deep audits and product customization, and strong influence from unions/CSE who can co-manage health insurance topics;
- Company profiles: Flagship companies (widely known brands), groups with standalone entities or subsidiaries, often with focus on employee wellbeing (QVT programs, Great Place to Work), modern company culture, and strategic communication about digitization or employer brand attractiveness;
- HR priorities: Increasing productivity, obtaining fair and competitive pricing, contributing to employee well-being through customized health plans, simplifying HR processes with digital platforms, and managing change management concerns when implementing new health insurance (biggest fear for large companies)
- Critical business characteristics: This segment requires breadth & depth of expertise to navigate complex organizations, account-based strategies with Key Account Management approach, early engagement in company roadmaps, face-to-face meetings, co-creation of insurance and digital products (tailored offers considering past results, specific regimes, demographics, payroll system integration), and ability to work through RFPs and with brokers. Sales cycles are volatile with high stakes: 1 deal = 50% of annual target for Enterprise Account Executives.
Our approach for Enterprise companies positions Alan as a strategic partner in health rather than just an insurance provider, emphasizing our digital platform for fluid UX, customized health plans at fair pricing, and health/well-being services. Success requires leveraging high-level connections, building professional materials, and potentially creating exclusive "Health Clubs" or labels for early adopters.
⭐ WHAT YOU WILL DO ⭐
You will be the Sales leader of the Enterprise Sales team in France, responsible for both hitting the numbers and scaling the machine.
More precisely, you will:
- Own the Enterprise acquisition plan in France. Design and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for 3000 employee customers, from targeting to closing, to reach ambitious acquisition targets and scale the segment.
- Lead & coach a team of 4 Account Executives (and likely more to come)
- Drive hiring, onboarding, and career development as we scale the crew and the segment.
- Help each team member reach their targets with clear expectations, rigorous follow‑up, and ongoing coaching on methodology, deal execution, and pipeline management.
- Be on the field with the team: prospecting, joining key meetings, supporting tough negotiations, and owning strategic opportunities to maximize win rates.
- Empower every member of the team: Create the conditions for everyone to reach and exceed their goals: strong feedback culture, coaching, clear ownership, and autonomy.
- Ensure market fit and remove blockers: Surface customer expectations, patterns, and blockers, and ensure they’re addressed through the right strategic and execution plans (product, pricing, ops, marketing, etc.).
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the F-G level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
⭐ IS IT WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR? ⭐
You may be a great fit at Alan if you:
- Have at least 10 years experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets as an Account Executive and Sales Leader
- Have experience leading and coaching sales teams, with the ability to set a high bar, give clear direction, and help people grow
- Have full working proficiency in French, and advanced level in English for internal communication
- Have a very hands‑on mentality: you love being on the field with your team, joining customer meetings, helping on tough negotiations, and sharing what works
- Have experience selling to Enterprise level companies (3000+ employees and above) in multi‑stakeholder deals
- Are comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments, and can prioritize ruthlessly
- Are data‑driven and analytical: you know how to leverage KPIs to drive performance, run analyses, and make decisions
- Have strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and appetite for building things with others (sales ops, marketing, etc.)
- Are based (or willing to relocate to) the Paris area
Nice-to-have:
- Experience selling to HR or Finance

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
As Engineering Team Lead (Geospatial Analytics), you'll own a product engineering team that turns remote sensing and auxiliary data into fast, reliable insight when natural catastrophes happen. WHO WE ARE

Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and own the product engineering team: hiring, growth, performance and wellbeing of the team members
- Own the team's technical direction across analytics and engineering, taking work from research prototype to production systems that run reliably against customer commitments.
- Work in tandem with the Product Manager on roadmap and priorities, turning customer needs into analytics capability.
- Design shared change detection analytics that serve multiple products in the team’s portfolio
- Collaborate closely with Operations on event response, so that delivery workflows, latency and quality hold up when it matters.

- Set and maintain scientific and engineering standards across the team, including review practice, validation rigour, testing and documentation.
- Stakeholder management - including Product Engineering leadership and different product stakeholders

- Experience working closely with product and operations teams in a flow-based, outcome-focused way, including giving direct feedback constructively and explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- A record of taking analytics from prototype to reliable production against latency, accuracy and uptime targets, with sound judgement on when a solution is good enough.
- Experience building, validating and deploying ML models or analytical pipelines based on SAR or other remote sensing imagery for tasks such as damage assessment, change detection or object detection. This includes working with noisy or sparse labels, validating against ground truth such as field surveys or claims data, and monitoring model performance in production.
- A solid grasp of SAR principles, including how backscatter responds to structural change in built environments, and applied experience in change detection using amplitude, coherence or interferometric (InSAR) methods.
- Strong Python skills and experience applying modern engineering practice (Git, code review, testing, CI, documentation), deployed with Docker on AWS. Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Nice to haves:
