Experience with technology partners or alliances is strongly preferred. An end-to-end understanding of the software development lifecycle, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and DevSecOps, with the ability to use GitLab in depth. Hands-on cloud architecture experience with at least one hyperscaler: Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure. Cloud cost or FinOps experience is a plus. Working knowledge of AI model evaluation frameworks and agent technology, including large language model (LLM) application programming interfaces (APIs), agent frameworks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP), and how they fit into developer workflows. Experience designing and facilitating technical workshops with senior technical and business stakeholders, and building business cases that scope work, estimate gains and costs, and size resources. An autonomous, ownership-driven approach: you identify work and move it forward without waiting for a project backlog. Clear, concise written and spoken communication, adapting technical and commercial trade-offs for audiences from engineers to executives. Ability to travel about once a quarter and work hours that overlap with Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). If you're on the US West Coast, expect to start around 7 a.m. Pacific Time; when the day ends is flexible. About the team You'll join Strategic Partnerships and report to the VP, Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships. The team manages GitLab's relationships with hyperscalers, AI companies, and select DevSecOps companies, acting as the business owner and coordinating work across hosting contracts, product integrations, go-to-market activities, purchasing, and partner-specific marketing. Location: Remote-Friendly, United States About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate. We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Virginia and West Virginia to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbor, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations. You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organizations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand. You will travel regularly within Virginia and West Virginia, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets. Key responsibilities Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with Virginia boards of supervisors, city and town councils, and planning commissions, West Virginia county commissions and municipal officials, state economic development agencies, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the Virginia and West Virginia data center markets you cover Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement, including in markets where data center development is already well established and community questions about its cumulative effects are active Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging Coordinate charitable giving, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing nonprofit partner relationships Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, noise, transmission, and land use Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows Minimum qualifications Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local or state government, or a closely related field Direct experience working for or engaging with local governments and a broad set of community stakeholders on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings, including town halls, hearings, and press interviews Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them Based in Virginia or West Virginia or willing to relocate to one of them, and prepared to travel regularly across both states Preferred qualifications 7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data center, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government Familiarity with land use, zoning, and permitting processes at the county and municipal level, including rezoning and special use permit hearings in Virginia Experience with community concerns around data center siting, such as noise, transmission lines, water, and proximity to residential areas Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organizations in the markets this role covers, including in Appalachian and energy-transition communities Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $265,000 — $295,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Location: Melbourne The Role You’ll own a net-new enterprise territory in Melbourne. Most of your number comes from accounts that don’t buy from us yet. New business usually starts with a team already running ClickHouse — open source, or a Cloud account someone expensed — until a bill or a security review pushes the conversation up to the platform team and the budget owner. Common triggers: an Elasticsearch or Splunk bill that’s hard to defend, a warehouse that can’t serve a customer-facing feature fast enough, an AI product querying tens of billions of rows. You’ll carry a small set of existing accounts alongside the hunt, where growth comes from new teams inside an account that already buys from us. One team lands a workload, it works, and four other teams have a similar problem. But the bulk of this role is finding and opening accounts that aren’t on our map yet. What You Will Be Doing - Own the full sales cycle for new accounts in your territory — first conversation through security review, procurement, and close, on Cloud commitments and multi-year committed spend. - Build your own pipeline. Self-sourced outbound is the primary input to this territory, not a supplement to inbound. - Find and convert existing ClickHouse usage in new accounts. Unmanaged open-source deployments and self-serve Cloud accounts are the highest-yield source of new pipeline in this segment. - Multi-thread across the data platform team, the budget owner, security, and the executive sponsor rather than relying on a single champion. - Work with your Solutions Architect through the technical evaluation. They own the technical win, you own the commercial strategy and the close. - Run the procurement path: security questionnaires, legal redlines, vendor onboarding, and BYOC or private-deployment requirements, including Australian data residency where it’s required. - Give your champion the internal business case — TCO comparison against the incumbent, migration plan, and risk mitigation. - Grow the accounts you land by mapping the remaining teams and use cases and building an expansion plan against them. - Watch consumption trends across your accounts and engage early when usage flattens or spikes. Both are signals. - Keep Salesforce accurate and submit a forecast leadership can plan against. - Participate in the developer community in your territory: meetups, conferences, and events across Melbourne. What You Bring - 6+ years selling technical infrastructure to enterprise buyers — databases, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, observability, or developer tooling. - A track record of self-sourced pipeline. You can explain your weekly prospecting approach and what actually works for you. - Experience selling into Melbourne and Victorian enterprise accounts, and familiarity with how procurement and security review run here. - A track record closing complex deals that went through security review, legal, and procurement. - Enough technical fluency to hold an architecture conversation. You don’t need to write SQL, but you should be able to explain why a company moves a workload off Elasticsearch. - Experience with consumption-based or usage-metered commercial models, where revenue moves with usage between contract events. - Experience selling into developer-led, bottom-up adoption as well as top-down. - Ability to orchestrate people who don’t report to you — Solutions Architects, executive sponsors, partners, product managers. - Comfort building a territory from scratch rather than inheriting mature coverage. - Accurate forecasting, including when the number is bad. PERKS - Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries. - Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare. - Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options. - Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries. - A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee. - Global Gatherings – We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites. CULTURE - WE ALL SHAPE IT As part of a rapidly scaling start-up, you will be instrumental in shaping our culture. Are you interested in finding out more about our culture? Location: United States About Nebius: Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure. Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI. Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D. The role Nebius is looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to set the direction for our enterprise story: the narrative, messaging, and go-to-market strategy that turn Nebius’s full-stack differentiation into pipeline and revenue with mid-market and enterprise buyers. You’re welcome to work remotely in the United States. This is a role for a recognized enterprise product marketing leader from B2B cloud or AI infrastructure who has shaped category narratives and led complex go-to-market motions, and can prove it through the messaging they built, the programs they orchestrated, and the revenue outcomes behind them. You understand the AI cloud stack well enough to earn credibility with engineering leaders, and you know what it takes to move a complex enterprise buying committee (CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data/AI Officers, CISOs, VPs of Infrastructure, security and procurement teams) through a 6–18-month cycle. You set the strategy and frameworks that others execute against, and you measure your impact in win rates, pipeline influenced, and field adoption, not assets shipped. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Marketing, you will be the senior voice for how Nebius positions itself to the enterprise and a force multiplier for the organization: setting the enterprise go-to-market strategy across product lines, guiding and mentoring other product marketers, and equipping sales, solutions architecture, and partnerships to carry the story into the field. You will work directly with senior leaders across product, engineering, sales, and executive leadership as a trusted strategic partner. Your responsibilities will include: Set the enterprise narrative and positioning strategy. Own the enterprise layer of the Nebius story end to end, from our “ultimate AI cloud” positioning down to persona-specific messaging, and define the frameworks and standards that other product marketers and content teams build on. Translate our differentiators and each layer of the cloud stack (custom GPU servers, AI orchestration and MLOps tooling, Token Factory, and our agentic layer) into credible messaging that resonates with technical and business decision-makers alike. Lead enterprise go-to-market strategy across products and launches. Define the enterprise go-to-market plan across the Nebius portfolio, set priorities and sequencing for major launches, and drive alignment across product, sales, solutions architecture, partnerships, and marketing. Make the trade-offs on where to focus and invest, and hold cross-functional teams accountable to shared outcomes. Design and own the enterprise customer journey. Own the logic and strategy of the 6–18-month enterprise buying cycle, defining what moves a buyer at each stage from awareness to evaluation, decision, and expansion. Set the plays, content, and touchpoints for each stage and partner with digital/ABX and field marketing leaders to sequence and target them by account, using ABM platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase. Build the enterprise business case. Develop the messaging, proof, and business case around what enterprises actually evaluate: total cost of ownership, reliability and SLAs, security and compliance, data sovereignty and residency, migration risk, and vendor lock-in. Equip Nebius to win through security review, procurement, and the CFO’s office, and engage directly with senior executives on strategic deals. Drive enablement strategy and field adoption. Set the enablement strategy for sales, solutions, and partner teams, and ensure they can articulate Nebius’s value to every persona on the buying committee: first-call decks, battlecards, discovery guides, ROI/TCO tools, objection handling, and competitive positioning against hyperscalers and neoclouds. Lead enablement programs and measure adoption, win rates, and deals influenced. Own competitive and category positioning. Maintain a sharp, evidence-based view of the AI enterprise infrastructure landscape and help shape how the category is defined. Turn market and competitive intelligence into positioning the field can defend and campaigns can lead with, and keep Nebius’s differentiation current as the market moves. Lead the enterprise content and proof strategy. Define the enterprise asset strategy and own quality across the library: solution briefs, white papers, reference architectures, case studies, web pages, webinars, and videos. Personally produce the most strategic pieces and set the bar for the rest. Elevate communications, analyst, and investor narratives. Shape the enterprise narrative for press moments, site launches, analyst briefings, and investor materials, in close coordination with comms, legal, and executive leadership. Serve as a spokesperson and subject matter expert for the enterprise story in analyst, customer, and industry settings. Champion the voice of the customer. Partner with sales and customer marketing to build a pipeline of references, case studies, and proof points, and bring enterprise pain points and wins back into product strategy and messaging. Mentor and multiply. Coach and guide other product marketers and cross-functional contributors, establish best practices, messaging methodologies, and workshop frameworks (such as SCIPAB), and raise the quality and consistency of product marketing across the organization. Contribute strategically at the leadership table. Bring ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape how we position Nebius in a fast-moving AI infrastructure market. Act as a trusted partner to product, engineering, sales, and partnerships leaders, with a seat at the table, not just as a content source. We expect you to have: 8+ years in product marketing, with a strong track record leading enterprise go-to-market in cloud infrastructure or AI infrastructure (ideally the AI cloud market) at a growing, modern company. Proven ownership of the enterprise segment across the marketing lifecycle, with the ability to speak to win rates, pipeline data, and revenue impact on significant enterprise deals. Demonstrated experience setting go-to-market strategy and leading cross-functional launches across multiple products or product lines, influencing leaders without direct authority. Hands-on experience designing and orchestrating multi-stage enterprise customer journeys across long (6–18 month) buying cycles, and running account-based programs on ABM platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase in partnership with digital/ABX teams, with clear, measurable outcomes. Strong technical understanding of AI/ML workflows and the AI cloud infrastructure stack: GPU platforms and the NVIDIA ecosystem, networking, storage, IaaS, inference, and ML tools (e.g., PyTorch, Ray, Slurm, MLflow, Kubernetes, inference and agentic platforms), with the ability to go deep with engineers and translate up for executives and business buyers. Demonstrated experience building and running sales and partner enablement at scale, including battlecards, pitch decks, sales playbooks, competitive positioning, and ROI/TCO narratives, and driving measurable adoption across a field organization. Fluency with the enterprise buying process and its stakeholders (CTO, CIO, VP Infrastructure, IT Ops, Platform Engineering, security, compliance, procurement, and finance) and the concerns that gate a deal: TCO, reliability, security, compliance, sovereignty, and lock-in. Exceptional writing, presentation, and storytelling skills, including experience running messaging workshops and methodologies such as SCIPAB, and comfort presenting to C-level executives, analysts, and customers. Experience mentoring or leading product marketers or cross-functional teams, and raising standards across a function. Strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, is comfortable operating with ambiguity and speed, and connects the dots across functions and departments. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. #LI-LT1 Key employee benefits in the US: Health insurance: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families. 401(k) plan: Up to 4% company match with immediate vesting.
