At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior/Staff Data Scientist to join our growing Data team and serve as a strategic analytics partner across Render. As we scale, we're tackling increasingly complex questions across our product, customers, and business, from how developers discover and adopt Render, to what drives engagement and retention, to how we prioritize investments and identify new opportunities for growth.
You'll partner with leaders and teams across Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other functions, focusing on some combination of data analytics, analytics engineering, machine learning, and experimentation based on your strengths, interests, and Render's highest-priority needs. You'll turn ambiguous questions into rigorous analysis, define how we measure success, and translate complex data into decisions and action.
As a Senior/Staff-level individual contributor, you'll also help set the standard for analytics at Render, shaping our measurement frameworks, analytical practices, and how teams across the company use data to make better decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as a strategic analytics partner. Work closely with leaders and cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other teams to identify high-impact questions, frame decisions, and determine how success should be measured.
- Define meaningful metrics and measurement frameworks. Develop the KPIs and frameworks teams use to understand performance across areas such as acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, expansion, and customer outcomes.
- Turn data into strategy. Surface patterns across our users, customers, products, and business. Identify opportunities, diagnose friction, and help teams determine where to invest and what to prioritize.
- Shape our approach to experimentation and evaluation. Design and analyze experiments where appropriate, develop guardrail metrics and other methods for evaluating initiatives, and help teams choose the right analytical approach for the decision at hand.
- Build measurement into how we work. Partner with teams to define instrumentation and measurement plans early, ensuring new products, programs, and initiatives can be evaluated reliably after launch.
- Build trusted analytical foundations. Build and maintain dbt models, semantic and context layers in partnership with Analytics Engineering, transforming behavioral and business data into reliable datasets that support decision-making across Render.
- Raise the bar for analytics. Establish analytical best practices, improve how teams use data in decision-making, and mentor scientists and cross-functional partners on measurement, experimentation, and data literacy.
- Help shape the future of analytics at Render. Explore how AI-assisted tools can make analytics faster and more accessible while maintaining a high bar for accuracy, context, and analytical judgment.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years of analytics experience, with a track record of shaping strategy and influencing decisions across complex or ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong business and product judgment. You can take an ambiguous question, identify what really needs to be understood, and determine the right analytical approach to inform a decision.
- Experience defining and using metrics across some combination of Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, or other business domains, for example acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, expansion, or revenue.
- Strong SQL skills. Writing complex, efficient SQL and independently exploring large datasets is a core part of how you work.
- Experience using experimentation, statistical analysis, or other rigorous evaluation methods to understand impact, along with judgment about when each approach is appropriate.
- Experience with modern analytics tooling such as Metabase, Mixpanel, dbt, BigQuery, Segment, and Git.
- A track record of influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders without direct authority. You're comfortable challenging assumptions, creating clarity from ambiguity, and driving alignment around what the data says.
- Excellent communication skills. You can turn complex analysis into a clear narrative, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and build the relationships necessary to drive action.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding or analytics tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code to accelerate analysis, data modeling, instrumentation, or visualization.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Expertise in statistical methods beyond traditional A/B testing, such as causal inference, cohort and survival analysis, or time-series analysis.
- Experience with developer-focused, product-led, sales-led, or usage-based businesses.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, PaaS, developer tooling, or other technically complex products.
- Experience analyzing multi-product or multi-segment businesses and understanding behavior across interconnected customer journeys.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are hiring a National Security Partnerships Lead to grow and manage our relationships with the U.S. Intelligence Community and with allied intelligence and security services. You will report to the Head of National Security Policy and advise company leadership on intelligence and allied-partner matters.
You will help partner security organizations build policies that let them adopt frontier AI quickly and for high-impact missions, while deploying it safely and avoiding incidents. You will also engage U.S. and foreign government officials on the policy frameworks that guide the international distribution and deployment of Anthropic's models.
You will own a portfolio of government partnerships end to end: setting the agenda with senior counterparts, structuring the agreements and channels that govern each relationship, and bringing partner requirements and concerns back into Anthropic's policy, product, research, and safeguards decisions. You will work closely with our public sector sales, legal, security, and threat intelligence teams.
Key responsibilities
Lead Anthropic's strategic engagement with U.S. Intelligence Community elements and allied intelligence and security services.
Help partner security organizations develop the policies and governance that enable rapid, high-impact adoption of frontier AI and safe deployments that avoid incidents.
Identify high-leverage national security deployments with partners, and support our public sector sales team in delivering them.
Brief senior government security officials in the U.S. and allied capitals on frontier AI capabilities, risks, and Anthropic's approach to safety.
Engage U.S. and foreign government officials on the national security implications of the international distribution and deployment of Anthropic's models, and advise company leadership on partner equities in those decisions.
Partner with federal affairs, international policy, communications, and marketing on national security matters, including engagement with the Executive Branch and Congress.
Travel regularly within the U.S. and to allied countries.
Minimum qualifications
Substantial experience in national security, including work in or with the Intelligence Community.
Direct experience managing relationships with foreign partner governments or services.
An active TS/SCI clearance, or one held within the last two years, and the ability to obtain and maintain it.
Experience negotiating formal agreements or partnerships between governments, or between government and industry.
A working understanding of how intelligence organizations operate, including classification, liaison relationships, and how they adopt new technology, and the ability to get things done within those constraints.
The ability to brief senior policymakers and officials clearly, and to explain technical subjects without overstating them.
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, sales, policy, trust and safety, legal, security, product, research, and communications.
Demonstrated interest and experience in a complex technical subject, ideally AI, though defense technology, cybersecurity, or similar fields also count.
The ability to build structure where little exists and to manage competing priorities without waiting for perfect clarity.
Preferred qualifications
10+ years of experience in national security, including substantial work in or with the Intelligence Community.
Experience in a liaison, foreign partnership, or foreign disclosure role.
Experience in related private-sector roles, such as at technology, cybersecurity, or defense companies.
Regional expertise or language skills relevant to allied partners.
Hands-on familiarity with large language models and how they can be misused.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$295,000
—
$345,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

We're looking for a Senior/Staff Analytics Engineer to join our growing Data team and lead the evolution of our Analytics Engineering platform. As Render scales, you'll build the foundations that turn raw data into trusted, reusable models for analytics, executive reporting, and AI-assisted decision-making.
In this role, you'll partner closely with analysts, scientists, data engineers, and teams across Product, Engineering, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other business functions. Analysts and scientists will bring domain expertise and own business logic within their areas; you'll own the technical architecture, modeling standards, and engineering practices that help that work scale reliably.
As a Senior/Staff-level individual contributor, you'll set the technical direction for Analytics Engineering at Render—strengthening data quality, improving the developer experience, and building semantic and context layers that make data easier to discover and use. You'll help teams move faster with consistent metrics and maintainable models they can trust.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own our Analytics Engineering architecture. Guide the long-term evolution of Render’s Analytics Engineering platform, strengthening foundational models so our data remains trusted, scalable, and ready for AI-assisted analytics.
- Build trusted, reusable data models. Design, build, and maintain governed dbt models that serve as authoritative sources for business-critical metrics across Product, Engineering, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other teams.
- Establish engineering standards. Define and improve practices for data modeling, testing, documentation, version control, CI/CD, and code review. Review high-impact dbt changes and reduce technical debt across the analytics codebase.
- Enable self-service and AI-assisted analytics. Design and maintain semantic and context layers that make metrics consistent, data discoverable, and analysis reliable for both people and AI tools.
- Partner closely with analysts and scientists. Help analysts and scientists translate domain-specific business logic into scalable, maintainable warehouse models, moving shared logic out of individual reports and dashboards and into governed datasets.
- Improve reliability and efficiency. Partner with Data Engineering to strengthen source data quality, warehouse architecture, and BigQuery performance and cost efficiency.
- Raise the bar for Analytics Engineering. Mentor analysts, scientists, and analytics engineers on dbt development, dimensional modeling, and engineering best practices, and help teams adopt shared standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience running dbt in production.
- Expert-level SQL skills and a track record of designing and owning scalable Kimball dimensional models.
- Deep expertise in modern Analytics Engineering practices, including Git, testing, CI/CD, documentation, data contracts, lineage, and governance.
- Experience building semantic and context layers, trusted metrics, and warehouse architectures that support self-service analytics for humans and AI agents across multiple business domains.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud data warehouse architecture, performance optimization, and cost efficiency, with experience in platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- A track record of establishing technical standards, influencing engineering practices without formal authority, and improving reliability while reducing technical debt.
- Proven ability to partner closely with analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable data models.
- Excellent communication skills. You can explain complex technical concepts and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences and build alignment across teams.
- Experience building data models that connect product usage, acquisition, CRM, and financial data across the customer lifecycle.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding or analytics tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code to accelerate data modeling, testing, documentation, or exploration.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Hands-on experience with Render’s analytics stack, including BigQuery, Segment, dbt, and analytics tools such as Metabase or Mixpanel.
- Experience with developer-focused, product-led, sales-led, or usage-based businesses.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, PaaS, developer tooling, or other technically complex products.
This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization.
Render is an equal-opportunity employer. We know that employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, product, and community to flourish. About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
The next generation of software won’t just be used by people — it’ll be built and shipped by agents. Builds are where that happens, and they’re the beating heart of Vercel. Whether an idea starts in v0, in an agent, or in an engineer’s editor, every customer builds — and millions of builds flow through our systems every day.
As an engineer on the Agentic Infrastructure team, you’ll take ownership of the systems that carry that work at scale. You won’t just contribute features — you’ll be responsible for the design, reliability, and evolution of the platform itself. You’ll make decisions that shape performance, define best practices, and ensure the workflows that Vercel, our customers, and their agents depend on are fast, resilient, and secure.
This role blends product thinking with deep systems ownership. You’ll partner with teams across Vercel to build and operate the agentic infrastructure that determines how software actually ships.
We’re looking for engineers who want to own high-scale systems end-to-end, thrive on improving the developer/agent experience, and are driven to have a lasting impact on how modern software gets built and delivered.
What you’ll do
Own and evolve the infrastructure that powers Vercel’s build and deployment lifecycle — from handling webhooks to designing resilient database schemas and building scalable APIs.
Design and operate high-performance microservices that process millions of builds daily, ensuring speed, reliability, and developer delight.
Lead projects end-to-end: from identifying opportunities to defining technical direction and delivering improvements in performance, reliability, and developer experience.
Collaborate across teams to align infrastructure with company-wide goals and ensure seamless developer workflows.
Shape the long-term vision of agentic infrastructure at Vercel by setting standards for scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
Participate in the on-call rotation, taking responsibility for the reliability of critical systems.
Contribute to the open-source community, representing Vercel’s commitment to advancing developer tools globally.
Write clean, efficient, tested, and well-documented code that others can build upon confidently.
What you need
3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating backend applications and distributed systems at scale.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to navigate and improve complex systems.
Strong proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
A track record of end-to-end ownership — from design and implementation through to long-term operation in production.
Skilled at cross-team collaboration, able to influence priorities and drive alignment toward shared goals.
Able to reason about technical direction and architectural tradeoffs, balancing long-term vision with pragmatic delivery.
Invested in the people around you — through mentorship, code review, or simply raising the bar on how the team builds.
Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to push the boundaries of how modern software gets built and shipped.
Bonus if you
Are familiar with React or Next.js
Have experience with DynamoDB
Have worked to develop a CI/CD platform or internal developer platform used by other engineers or by agents.
Have experience contributing to or participating in open-source projects.
Have experience optimizing build systems for monorepos or polyrepo setups.
Have experience with build caching, artifact storage, or dependency management at scale.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The base pay range for this role is $196,000.00 - $294,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

Money is moving onto the internet, and the shift has a name:
Open Money.
This is money that is open, portable, agentic, and owned by you. MetaMask spent the last ten years building it; with 100M+ downloads, users in ~190 countries, and trillions in cumulative transaction volume, it's the most trusted self-custodial financial platform on the internet. Now we're building the operating system for your money: one place to hold, move, grow, and use anything you own. Join a remote-first, global team rebuilding how money works: a problem that touches everyone, every day.
About the team
MetaMask's design team is working to establish MetaMask as the premier wallet in fintech, elevating the craft of design and leading the industry as the next phase of decentralized finance unfolds. Our focus is reducing friction while preserving user trust, so more people can safely explore the world of Web3.
Prediction markets are one of the most exciting areas in consumer finance right now, sitting at the intersection of trading, sports, news, culture, and real world events. This is a big growth area for MetaMask, and we're looking for a Lead Product Designer to help shape where it goes next. This is a chance to take real ownership of the end-to-end Prediction Markets experience inside one of the most widely used products in web3 — helping define how people discover markets, understand what's happening, trade, manage positions, and come back as events unfold. The product is still evolving, so much of the experience is still there to be defined, and that's a big part of what makes this role interesting: we're not looking for someone to polish a finished product, we want someone who wants to help shape it. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering, have a strong voice in what we build, and take ideas from early thinking through to something real in the hands of users.
What you’ll do
Own the Prediction Markets experience from early thinking through launch and iteration.
Define how users discover markets, understand them, trade and manage their positions.
Make complex ideas like probabilities, liquidity and market mechanics feel clear and easy to understand.
Work closely with Product and Engineering to shape what we build, not just how it looks.
Prototype quickly using AI to explore ideas and get to stronger solutions faster.
Set a high bar for visual and interaction design, and use research and data to keep improving the product.
Would be great if you brought this to the role
5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped consumer products.
You have a proven track record of delivering impactful, customer-centric designs that solve complex problems and drive commercial outcomes.
Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, with strong product instincts and attention to detail.
Experience taking complex or ambiguous problems from early ideas through to shipped experiences.
Comfortable using AI, code and modern design tools to explore, iterate and build quickly.
High ownership, strong communication and the confidence to push work forward without waiting for a perfectly defined brief.
Someone who genuinely loves sports and understands how fans follow teams, leagues, games and major sporting events.
Bonus points
Experience in trading, investing, fintech, sports, betting, marketplaces or other high frequency consumer products.
An interest in prediction markets and where the category could go.
Experience working with market data, probabilities, charts or financial positions.
Experience designing discovery, feeds, ranking or personalised content.
Experience with crypto or web3, although deep crypto knowledge is not required.
Don't meet all the requirements? Don't sweat it. We’re passionate about building a diverse team of humans and as such, if you think you've got what it takes for our chaotic-but-fun, remote-friendly, start-up environment—apply anyway, detailing your relevant transferable skills in your cover letter. While we have a pretty good idea of what we need, we're ready for you to challenge our thinking on who needs to be in this role
.
The salary range listed for this role applies to US-based candidates only. Compensation for candidates based outside the US (including Canada, EMEA, and LATAM) will be determined based on location, experience, and skills during the interview process, and may differ from the listed US range.

In the rapidly evolving Web3 space, we believe that everyone is a builder. This expansive paradigm requires a range of backgrounds, talents, skills, and experiences to influence and shape the future. At MetaMask, this diversity fuels our ability to shift control and redefine the realm of possibility. We are committed to ensuring that our technology empowers people and communities through decentralized technologies. We welcome the range of perspectives and differences and celebrate them. We're excited to see how your unique skills as a builder can contribute to our vision, drive innovation, and help us shape a more inclusive Web3.

From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
Help build the operational foundation that powers Sierra's ecosystem—and the global community building the future of AI agents.
Sierra's ecosystem is growing rapidly. Customers, partners, and developers around the world are building on Sierra to create the next generation of AI-powered experiences. As that community grows, we're looking for an Ecosystem Operations Manager to help scale the programs, systems, and operations that enable it to thrive.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role within Sierra's Partnerships & Ecosystems team. You'll help operate and improve Sierra University, partner enablement, developer relations, and builder community programs while strengthening the operational foundation that enables the ecosystem to scale.
Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, GTM, Agent Development, and Partnerships, you'll improve processes, coordinate programs, and build the operational rigor that allows our ecosystem to grow efficiently.
We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity—someone who can build scalable processes, execute high-impact programs, and continuously improve how we serve customers, partners, and builders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Scale Sierra University by managing curriculum operations, certification programs, learner journeys, platform administration, and governance.
- Coordinate programs that grow Sierra's global builder community, creating opportunities for customers and partners to learn, connect, and succeed.
- Drive partner enablement operations in partnership with the Partnerships team, ensuring partners have the training, resources, and operational support they need to activate quickly.
- Create and maintain developer-facing resources—including documentation, tutorials, videos, and technical enablement materials—that help builders get the most from Sierra's platform.
- Plan and execute ecosystem events, including certification launches, builder summits, partner workshops, developer days, and community activations.
- Build and improve the operational systems, reporting, and processes that enable the Partnerships & Ecosystems team to scale efficiently.
- Partner across Product, Engineering, Marketing, GTM, Agent Development, and Partnerships to coordinate ecosystem initiatives and keep programs moving.
- Measure ecosystem health through certification adoption, partner activation, community engagement, content effectiveness, and customer feedback, and use those insights to continuously improve how Sierra serves builders and partners.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 6–8+ years of experience in ecosystem operations, developer relations, community programs, partner enablement, program management, or a related function at an enterprise SaaS or developer platform company.
- Experience operating and scaling customer, partner, or developer programs.
- Experience creating developer-facing content, including documentation, tutorials, videos, or technical enablement materials.
- Fluent in modern AI tools and workflows, with hands-on experience leveraging AI to improve productivity and a strong understanding of how AI agents, LLMs, and developer tools are transforming the way software is built, shipped, and adopted.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing both customer-facing content and executive-ready communications.
- Highly organized, execution-oriented, and energized by building scalable programs in fast-moving environments.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support Sierra University, partner enablement, ecosystem events, builder programs, and community engagement.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience at companies with scaled developer ecosystems, learning platforms, or partner communities.
- Experience supporting both customer and partner audiences.
- Familiarity with learning management systems, community platforms, event operations, and modern content creation tools.
- Experience working with AI platforms, developer tools, or enterprise software ecosystems.
- Prior software development, solutions engineering, or technical implementation experience.
- Experience scaling global ecosystem programs in fast-growing environments with limited existing processes or playbooks.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

- Flexible (unlimited) paid time off
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family
- Life insurance and disability benefits
- Retirement plan dependent on country of employment
- Parental leave

Hi, I'm Paul, VP of Engineering at
Customer.io
. We're looking for a staff engineer to set technical direction for the systems that move billions of messages a day. This isn't a role about shipping more, faster. It's about deciding what gets built, where the architecture needs to go next, and raising the ceiling for the engineers around you.
About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive.
We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data. Under the hood: Go, React, Ember and AI help us ship fast and scale with confidence.
What We Value
Ownership at company scale
You take on the problems nobody has claimed yet — the ones that span squads, have no obvious owner, and would quietly cost us a year if left alone. You either solve them or get leadership aligned to.
Engineers with product taste
You think like a user, not just an engineer. You connect architectural decisions to what customers actually experience, and you can explain that connection to people who don't write Go.
A healthy skepticism for "the way things are done"
You retire practices that have outlived their usefulness, including ones you helped build. Best practices matter — but never more than forward motion.
Force multiplication
Your best quarter isn't measured by what you shipped. It's measured by what the department can now do that it couldn't before.
What You'll Do
Shape the technical direction of our distributed messaging systems in Go — making the high-level architectural calls on mission-critical services where scale, cost, and reliability are all in tension
Take on ambiguous, high-stakes problems that cross squad and function boundaries, and drive them to a decision when the right answer isn't obvious to anyone yet
Build consensus on contested technical questions across teams, and communicate the tradeoffs clearly enough that senior leadership can act on them
Raise the department's bar — set quality and design standards, mentor senior engineers, and turn what you know into frameworks and documentation other teams can use without you in the room
Drive engineering process and tooling improvements that span multiple squads, not just your own
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the reliability of the systems you build
Interview and calibrate against our career ladder, giving honest, evidence-based assessments of candidates
Use AI agents to make multi-file changes by scoping the work, writing the prompt, and verifying the output
What we're looking for
10+ years building scalable, distributed systems in Go (or similar statically typed languages), including several as the person others turned to on architecture
Depth across multiple systems or domains, not just one — you've been the recognized expert in more than one place
A track record of designing for production reality: you quantify tradeoffs in throughput, cost, and reliability rather than picking a reasonable path and defending it
Experience designing observability and recovery as first-class concerns — metrics, alerting, rollback, backpressure, checkpointing — not logging added afterward
Comfort working in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP), with relational databases (we use MySQL) and a real understanding of performance tradeoffs
Evidence of making other engineers better: mentorship, technical writing, design review, standards that outlasted your involvement
A bias for action over perfection, and the judgment to know which decisions are worth slowing down for
