An overview of this role
Support Engineering at GitLab isn’t just a title - you will be embedded within the Engineering department and will truly operate in an environment where Support and Engineering meet. You’ll interact with customers daily as they encounter the difficult edge cases of running GitLab in complex environments. In the space of a day, you might be doing behind the scenes work of a Linux administrator troubleshooting performance problems by using strace on a particular process, interacting with the Product team to ensure that steps in a bug report are reproducible, or interacting with the Engineering team itself by diving deep into our codebase and putting together a merge request to actually fix a customer issue.
That’s not all though - you’d equally be invited to contribute to the source code, improve our documentation, and help build out more efficient support processes in our issue tracker. We want to live in a world where everyone can contribute, and as a member of the support team, there are no barriers to using your skills to improve the experience of our users and customers.
Some examples of our projects:
A tool to automatically check a GitLab Omnibus install for known issues
A
solution to capture the state of a customer’s server
for easier troubleshooting
A tool which turns log files into interactive tables to easily sort and filter columns
A functionality to
ChatOps
to make it easier to identify user accounts on GitLab.com
What you’ll do
Support a mix of Self-managed and GitLab.com (SaaS) customers and resolve their issues via Zendesk tickets, merge requests, email and video conferencing
Collaborate with our
Product

) and other GitLab team members (for example: as a
Support Stable Counterpart
)
Participate in regular rotations for weekday and weekend on-call coverage (daytime only), providing emergency support to our Self-managed and SaaS customers, or working with our SaaS Production team to coordinate incident communications
Participate in our hiring processes by reviewing applications and assessments, and by participating in interviews.
What you’ll bring
Experience in, and passion for managing customer facing cases throughout the entire support lifecycle from initial customer inquiry to triage and reproduction, writing bug reports for hand off to the development team, and case resolution
Excellent Linux systems administration knowledge (LFCE or RHCE equivalent knowledge)
Ability to use scripting languages (preferably Ruby or Bash), and MVC frameworks (preferably Ruby on Rails)
Experience with Git and CI/CD
Expertise in writing support content
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to customers and coworkers of varying technical skill level
Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and technologies like Serverless and Kubernetes
Understand a range of different GitLab implementations, and how service interruptions impact the customer.
About the team
The Support team is distributed all over the world across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions. Support Engineers work on Support Tickets and helping GitLab’s customers, but they also dig into the code and logs to find out why something is not working as expected. The Collaboration here at GitLab is extraordinary and exciting - Support Engineers
solve complex problems together
and participate in regular pairing sessions and 1:1s, as well as coffee chats and Slack conversations that help them stay connected. Team members are given the ability to structure their shift the way it best suits their private life while maintaining our ability to address customer issues.

About the Team
We're looking for a Technical Support Analyst to help us deliver exceptional support for Rain's platform and integrations. You'll work directly with the fintechs, platforms, and partners building card programs and stablecoin products on Rain — troubleshooting complex API integrations, reading logs, and querying data to resolve issues that touch real money movement at scale. You'll partner closely with almost every team in the company on escalations, and turn what you learn on the ground into fixes that pushes Rain forward.
What you’ll do
- Investigate and resolve advanced customer and partner issues across Rain's systems, APIs, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot complex API integrations directly with partners, walking them through clear steps to resolve issues on their end.
- Own incidents in your queue as part of the team's 24x7 coverage: triage promptly, communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders, and consistently hit your SLA, CSAT, and quality targets.
- Escalate effectively by partnering closely with other teams to get to a satisfactory resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation and build troubleshooting guides and knowledge base content, supporting both self-serve resolution for customers and onboarding for the team.
- Feed insights back to Product and Engineering
- Collaborate with Engineering on testing, monitoring, and alerting improvements, and support new feature rollouts and integrations as they ship.
You are likely to succeed if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in a technical, customer- or partner-facing support role — ideally in fintech, payments, SaaS, or another high-growth, API-first environment.
- Hands-on experience with API products, plus comfort reading logs and writing SQL queries to investigate issues
- Familiarity with support processes and case management best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented, root-cause mindset.
- Clear writing and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple complex cases at once
Bonus attributes:
- A strategic, collaborative, results-oriented approach, and a genuine interest in payments or other areas of fintech.
- A collaborative mindset, a passion for continuous learning, and a knack for building long-lasting relationships.
- scripting or lightweight automation experience is a plus.

What we are looking for
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York (or eligibility to register as in-house counsel in New York).
- A minimum of [three] years of legal experience, combining time in private practice (ideally at a top-tier or recognised specialist firm) and in-house counsel experience, preferably within the technology, fintech, or financial services sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements independently and to a high standard.
- Experience advising on commercial matters in a regulated industry is strongly preferred; familiarity with payments, card network rules, banking relationships, or financial services regulatory frameworks is a significant advantage.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives, providing advice that is both legally sound and practically useful.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with both legal and non-legal audiences.
- A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to manage a demanding and varied workload with competing priorities and drive projects from inception to execution as the primary legal point of contact.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled legal and productivity tools to improve the quality, efficiency, and consistency of legal work is an advantage, together with sound judgment on appropriate use, confidentiality, and legal risk.
- Experience managing and partnering effectively with external counsel, including scoping instructions, supervising deliverables, and ensuring commercially practical, cost-effective advice aligned with business objectives.
What we offer
- A key, visible role within a high-performing legal team, with direct access to and partnership with senior business leadership.
- The opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value commercial matters in a business that is growing rapidly across domestic and international markets.

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The Role
We’re looking for a
Software Engineer
to build software that makes network operations safe, scalable, and boring — even as we launch new data centers and expand fast. This is not a “write scripts for configs” role: you’ll build the tooling and services that sit between the network core (switches/ports/VLANs, traffic processors) and the cloud platform on top, using open source where it fits and building the missing pieces where it doesn’t.
Your responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain services and tooling that automate the network lifecycle: day-0 provisioning, day-N changes, drift detection, and operational verification
Make network changes safe and transparent: CI/CD workflows, diff/review tooling, staged rollouts/rollbacks, audit trails, and guardrails
Develop observability systems that scale across many sites: telemetry pipelines, signal quality, and tooling that shortens incident investigations
Close “last mile” gaps between the network and the platform: integrate source-of-truth data, expose APIs, and build reliable automation around it
Collaborate closely with network engineers and SREs to turn real operational pain into product-quality tooling
We expect you to have:
5+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent practical background)
Strong coding skills and ownership mindset: you can ship and operate reliable services
Proficiency in
Go
or readiness to switch;
Python
is also welcome (other languages can be useful for OSS debugging/fixes)
You don’t have to be Network expert
but we expect you to have interest in infrastructure and/or network
It will be an added bonus if you have:
Background in networking (ex-network engineer, CCNP/education, DC networking exposure) or strong interest and proven ability to learn fast
Experience building automation/infra tooling: CI/CD, IaC, testing/staging environments, or “network-as-code” style workflows
Low-level networking / datapath experience: eBPF/XDP, DPDK, kernel networking, traffic processing systems
Experience designing high-load services and observability platforms (metrics/logs/traces, alerting, regression detection)
Contributions to open source or experience extending/debugging OSS components in production environments
We expect Engineers to:
Manage large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders
Break down complex tasks and guide both their own work and that of more junior colleagues
Be experts in specific technologies and write high-quality code that can serve as a reference
Assess task priority and focus on high-impact work, avoiding low-value efforts
Have strong architectural thinking and contribute to system design
Be involved in hiring and actively contribute to interviews
Be willing to share knowledge and mentor others
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and ownership
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
International environment and talented teams
What's it like to work at Nebius:
Fast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI
Equal Opportunity Statement:
Nebius is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace and to providing equal employment opportunities in all aspects of employment. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility as a condition of hire.
If you need accommodations during the application process, please let us know.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a full-time remote opportunity. We are considering candidates from US and Canada only (EST time zone).
The Opportunity:
The Grafana Cloud Observability department is focused on enabling developers to understand the health and performance of their applications and infrastructure in any environment by providing tools to instrument their code, ingest observability data into Grafana Cloud and visualize and explore it.
In this role, you will be part of the Cloud Integrations team. We develop
our portfolio of integrations
that allow customers to collect, visualize and act on telemetry from various systems and applications.
The software you will create is a core building block for the users of Grafana Cloud, and has direct impact on Grafana Cloud’s out of the box experience.
Our work is built on Open Source technologies such as Prometheus and OpenTelemetry, which you will also have the opportunity to actively contribute to.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You will bring your software engineering expertise to develop the tooling that powers our portfolio of cloud integrations and observability apps; working to develop, maintain and scale our infrastructure observability features in Grafana Cloud.
We’re looking for someone who can work across the full stack:
Frontend - written in Typescript / React
Backend - written in Golang
Monitoring Mixins
- written in Jsonnet
Day to day, that looks like:
Ship features end to end, from the UI a user clicks through to the backend services behind it and the dashboards and alerts that ship with each integration
Move between parts of the stack as the work demands. Some weeks are a React panel, some weeks a Go service, some weeks a Jsonnet mixin
Own projects from problem statement to production, including talking to users and checking whether what you shipped actually worked
Represent the team's work outside the team: write the design proposals, run the demos, and make the case for our roadmap in cross-team discussions
Contribute upstream to Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and Grafana Alloy where our work touches them
Join the on-call rotation for the services you own
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
As we have embraced a remote-first approach and our engineering team is primarily remote, it is essential to possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. We provide support and hold regular meetings through video calls to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Interest in working across the full stack, with a product-focused mindset. You start from the user problem and are comfortable deciding what to build, not only how to build it
Experience on both the backend and the frontend. We use Go and TypeScript; solid experience with comparable languages translates well
Fluency with AI-assisted development. You use coding agents and LLM tooling as part of how you work, and you have a clear view of where they speed things up and where they get in the way
Comfort being visible. You raise concerns early, advocate for your team's work across the org, and turn quiet good work into decisions other people can see and act on
Working knowledge of the observability ecosystem: Prometheus, Grafana dashboards, alerting, and what it takes to run these systems in production
Strong written communication. Most of our decisions happen in docs, issues and pull requests across several time zones
Bonus Points For:
Experience contributing to or maintaining Open Source projects, with evidence of successful pull requests and community collaboration
Experience working on Developer Tooling with a large user base
Experience building Grafana plugins, apps or dashboards
Familiarity with Grafana Alloy, the OpenTelemetry Collector, or similar telemetry pipeline tooling
Experience writing Jsonnet, or another configuration-as-code language
You have been on-call for the systems you instrument, so you know what a useful alert looks like

Interest in working across the full stack, with a product-focused mindset. You start from the user problem and are comfortable deciding what to build, not only how to build it

The Product
In a rapidly evolving world, trust in AI depends on AI agents being grounded in fresh, verified real-world data. Search is the foundation that makes this possible. We are building an agent-native search platform designed specifically for AI systems rather than human users. Our product provides programmatic, low-latency, and observable search APIs that AI agents use to retrieve, filter, and reason over real-world information at scale.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on the rendering infrastructure of a novel search engine tailored for agentic AI consumption.
In this role, you will focus on loading modern web pages in a browser that we patch and build ourselves, so that content is rendered completely and reliably at a cost that works across billions of pages. You will work inside Chromium to remove what we do not need, make the rest faster and cheaper, and keep our build current as Chromium moves. Your work ensures that high-quality content is consistently available to the indexing and retrieval systems downstream.
In this position, your responsibility will be to
Change Chromium in its heavy core (Blink, the V8 integration, the compositor, the network service) to cut CPU, memory and startup cost per page
Strip Chromium down for agent workloads: skip what nobody needs, such as image and media decoding, web font downloads, and rasterization and GPU work where no one needs pixels, while keeping what page scripts depend on to run correctly (style, layout, animation frames, observers), and work out what breaks, or renders differently, when you do
Keep the browser compatible with the web: make sure that what we remove does not change how the sites we load behave or render
Profile and tune fleets of browsers: the process model, memory per renderer, startup, isolation and crash handling
Build the production system around it: how browsers are launched, pooled, recycled and monitored
You may be a good fit if you
Have 5+ years of experience building production systems, and are an expert in several of the following areas.
Inside the browser
Strong C++ in a large, performance-critical codebase, ideally Chromium, Blink or V8, or a comparable browser engine (Rust is a plus)
Chromium architecture: the process model, Mojo IPC, the rendering pipeline (DOM, style, layout, paint, compositing), and the network service
Building, debugging and shipping custom Chromium builds: the build system, tracing, crash analysis, and maintaining patches across releases
Performance and systems
Profiling CPU, memory and I/O for browser fleets, with tools such as perf, tracing and flame graphs
Linux process isolation and resource management, concurrency, and memory management
Have run browsers in production, or built the infrastructure that does, and can describe where the time and memory went
Strong candidates may also have experience with
Contributions to Chromium, Blink, V8, Firefox, WebKit or another browser engine
Building or maintaining a patched browser that you wrote the patches for
Browser instrumentation, including the Chrome DevTools Protocol
Working familiarity with how modern frontend frameworks render (SSR, CSR, streaming, hydration)
Distributed systems, Kubernetes, and Go or Python
The kind of problems you will work on
Cut the cost of loading a page in half. Where do CPU and memory go, and what would you change in the browser?
Turn off the GPU and image decoding for agent workloads. What breaks, and what changes in how pages load and render?
A page runs a script that never yields. How do we detect and stop it without help from the page?
Chromium ships a new version. How do we bring a large set of patches forward in days, not weeks?
Decide when a page is finished, for pages with analytics beacons, long polling and endless scrolling.
We conduct coding interviews as part of the process.
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and ownership
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
International environment and talented teams

As the only company focused 100% on Java, Azul is building the Java platform for the modern cloud enterprise. We are reimagining how customers use Java, bringing them the tools and insight they need to deliver faster, more performant, more dependable, and less expensive Java services. Come join one of the most influential members of the Java and OpenJDK community and help influence the future of Java.
Falcon is the optimizing just in time (JIT) compiler in Azul Platform Prime. It compiles hot Java bytecode into highly optimized machine code and delivers Java performance that standard JVMs do not reach. Falcon is built on LLVM.
We are looking for a Staff Compiler Performance Engineer to set the technical direction for Falcon performance. This is not a compiler front end role and not a compiler built from scratch: Falcon is mature and runs in production at large enterprises. You will decide where the next significant performance gains come from, lead the design of the optimizations that deliver them, and make sure the compiler architecture supports the product roadmap.
You will be the senior technical voice on a distributed team of compiler experts and a key partner for runtime, GC and product teams.
What You Will Do
Define the performance strategy for Falcon: identify the largest opportunities across benchmarks and customer workloads and turn them into a technical roadmap
Lead design of complex, cross cutting optimizations in the optimizer and code generator, and of the interfaces between the compiler, the runtime and the garbage collector
Make architectural decisions on the Falcon optimization pipeline, compile time budget and tiering strategy
Lead enablement of Falcon on new hardware platforms and new Azul products
Mentor senior engineers, review critical designs and code, and set standards for performance methodology and validation
Represent Azul in the LLVM community: drive upstream design discussions and contributions that benefit managed language compilers
Minimum Requirements
8+ years of professional experience developing optimizing compilers or JIT compilers
Track record of technical leadership: owning the design of major compiler components or optimization frameworks used in production
Expert C++ skills and experience in large, long lived codebases
Deep expertise in compiler optimization and code generation, with a clear view of the tradeoffs between peak performance, compile time, warmup and code size
Expert performance analysis skills down to the microarchitecture level

Deep experience with JIT compilers for managed languages: HotSpot C2, Graal, V8, .NET RyuJIT or similar
Experience working closely with runtime and GC teams on speculation, deoptimization and barrier design
What We Offer
Opportunity to make a high impact at a growing, global company
Work alongside top experts worldwide contributing to the Java ecosystem
