As an MVNO Networks Manager at Airalo you will be responsible for establishing and managing the host operator partnerships that allow Airalo to operate its own networks locally. You will own each new market from the first conversation with a host mobile network operator through commercial negotiation, regulatory approval and technical integration to commercial launch, and you will remain its commercial owner once it is live.
You are someone who owns a market from its business case through to its commercial performance in operation. You are equally at ease negotiating terms with an operator's executive team, scoping the integration with their technical team, and running a service management review once the market is operational.
You will work in close coordination with our legal, finance, product, engineering and core network teams, as the local networks you establish need to interoperate with Airalo's existing platform and services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Represent Airalo as the ideal interface to host mobile network operators on a global level
Identify, approach and secure new host network partnerships across target markets
Assess and recommend full MVNO or light MVNO constructs per market, including the commercial, technical and timeline implications of each
Build the business case for each new market together with Finance, and present it to Airalo's leadership team and to host operator executives
Negotiate terms and conditions of MVNO, wholesale and reseller contracts with host mobile network operators
Support Legal on the regulatory approvals required per market, including entity and licensing, numbering allocation and number portability, and provide information to product management
Work with the Delivery team on the implementation of regulatory obligations such as mobile number portability, lawful interception and emergency calling
Coordinate the technical integration of host mobile networks with Airalo's OSS and BSS platform together with our product, engineering and core network teams
Prepare and run the rollout of new markets, from launch readiness through to first commercial traffic
Hand over each launched market to our NOC and operations teams, and run regular service management reviews with host operators covering network quality, SLA compliance and incident performance
Perform escalations in case of network quality issues and availabilities
Define and perform reconciliation processes between host operator invoices and Airalo's own usage records
Define and run traffic, revenue and cost analytics per market, and report performance against business case
Renegotiate commercial terms with host operators as volumes grow and market conditions change
Develop and maintain a repeatable market entry playbook, and methods to assure unification of conditions and agreements
Must-haves:
5 years minimum relevant experience in the mobile telco industry, in a commercial, wholesale or business development role
Having personally negotiated and closed at least two wholesale or MVNO agreements with host mobile network operators
Proven ability to build a market business case, including subscriber lifecycle assumptions, traffic forecasting, wholesale cost modelling, margin and payback, in close cooperation with Finance
Proven ability to present and defend a business case and its assumptions to a leadership team and to host operator executives
Experience owning commercial performance against forecast after launch, including contract renegotiation as volumes grow
Ideally having served within an MVNO, MVNA or MVNE, or on the operator side selling wholesale to them, with hands on mentality
Working knowledge of full MVNO and light MVNO architectures, including core, HSS/HLR, IMSI ranges, numbering and interconnect, and of the commercial trade-offs between them
Good overview in Telecommunication Network technologies like Mobile Core (PGW, IMS, Voice GW, HSS), OSS & BSS, and eSIM provisioning
Understanding different Mobile Network Generations like 2G, 3G/UMTS, 4G/LTE, 5G NSA and 5G SA and how they influence customer experiences
Ability to lead technical scoping and service management discussions directly with host operators, covering integration scope, launch dependencies, SLA definition and ongoing service reviews
Understanding the regulatory requirements on providing mobile services, including numbering, portability, emergency calling and lawful interception, and familiar with KYC processes for mobile subscriptions
Experience in a fast moving environment such as a startup, scale-up or challenger MVNO, with the ability to run several markets at different stages in parallel
Excellent English skills; in writing, speaking and reading, business fluent
Willingness to travel internationally occasionally to meet host operators
Good-to-have:
Having taken an MVNO from signed agreement through to live commercial traffic and first subscribers
Established working relationships with host mobile network operators and national telecom regulators
Experience selecting, contracting or managing an MVNE platform vendor
Prior ownership of a P&L or a country level budget
Master Studies and/or MBA highly preferred

We are hiring a Finance Transformation Lead to drive the modernization of the finance function. You will be the finance change agent and program owner across our biggest foundational bets: ERP implementation, process automation, a 5-day close, controllership and SOX-lite, and standardized data and dashboards.
This is a senior, cross-functional leadership role for someone who has run large finance transformations before. You will act as the finance PMO and process architect, reporting to the CFO and working across the entire finance organization and its advisors. You should be ready tomanage multiple complex workstreams, have an analytical mind, pay keen attention to detail, and love to get your hands dirty.
What you'll do:
ERP program ownership
Own the finance side of the ERP program (with system integrators and/or ERP vendors) from BRD through design decisions, data migration, parallel run, and cutover — including alignment with external auditors on post-cutover reporting.
Act as Airalo’s primary counterpart to the SI and other delivery partners, holding them to quality, pace, and commercial outcomes.
Lead design decisions across the finance value chain (revenue recognition incl. deferred revenue, breakage, rewards; COGS and inventory accounting; intercompany; multi-entity consolidation; period-end close; treasury; tax; AP).
Own the transformation roadmap and governance (SteerCo), manage stakeholders and dependencies, and drive adoption and training so change sticks.
Process redesign & controllership
Engineer and automate the core finance processes (O2C, P2P, R2R, FP&A), eliminate manual effort, and drive a shorter month-end close.
Own the data migration strategy, including chart of accounts design, master data ownership, and cutover balances.
Drive the design of the future-state finance operating model across group entities, including roles, controls, segregation of duties, and approval workflows.
Data, reporting & decision-making
Deliver standardized dashboards and driver-based forecasting (toward a ±5% accuracy target), with a single source of truth.
Embed finance in the company’s key decision forums.
Program & change management
Define and track the efficiency, accuracy, and cost benefits of the transformation.
Report progress to leadership and the Audit & Risk Committee.
Embed AI and automation opportunities into the design (close acceleration, anomaly detection, reconciliations, reporting) rather than treating them as an afterthought.
What you'll bring:
10+ years in finance with a clear track record of leading large-scale finance transformation.
Has led an ERP implementation end to end as the finance lead (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Deep process re-engineering and automation experience across O2C, P2P, R2R, and FP&A.
Strong controllership and controls background (SOX / SOX-lite, ITGC, audit readiness).
Program and change-management discipline; can run a multi-workstream roadmap with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and/or a Big 4 / consulting transformation background.
Influence and credibility with senior stakeholders inside and outside finance.
Preferred experience
Prior exposure to telecom, MVNO, SaaS, marketplace or other usage-based / partner-settlement revenue models.
Experience embedding AI / automation into finance processes (close, controls, reconciliations, reporting).
Familiarity with modern data/BI tooling (e.g., dbt, BigQuery, BI dashboards) and finance data architecture.
Multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction experience; M&A integration a plus.

As our Senior HLR/HSS Specialist, you are the guardian of our subscriber data and the architect of our roaming efficiency. You won't just manage databases; you will own the life-cycle of HSS/HLR templates that allow our MVNO to scale globally. Your expertise in Profile & Template Engineering is critical to our success in maximising COGS and margin through sophisticated Steering of Roaming (SoR) and Sponsor Roaming integrations.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Design and maintain HLR/HSS subscriber templates, ensuring precise configuration of roaming profiles, APN/PDN contexts, and Camel/Diameter triggers.
Collaborate with roaming partners to implement and refine SoR logic within the HLR/HSS, ensuring subscribers attach to preferred networks based on cost and quality.
Lead the technical deployment of Full MVNO profiles, managing specific QoS profiles and addressing (GTs, APNs) required for independent network operations.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for our System Integrators, auditing HLR/HSS configurations, reviewing change requests, and ensuring alignment with the 2026 roadmap.
Define and monitor critical HLR/HSS KPIs, including Location Update (LU) success rates and Diameter Transaction per Second (TPS) limits.
What you’ll need:
Deep technical mastery of MAP (SS7) and Diameter (S6a/S13) protocols; additional experience with VoLTE Roaming (S8HR) or SMSoIP rollout is a significant advantage.
Subscriber Mapping: Extensive experience with HLR, HSS, and UDM (User Data Management) in a multi-tenant or MVNO/E environment.
Practical experience with Multi-IMSI applets and the logic required to manage roaming through Sponsor IMSIs.
A solid understanding of GSMA IREG (IR series); familiarity with TADIG (TD series) and how HSS/HLR templates impact billing/settlement is preferred.
A "detective" mindset for troubleshooting complex signalling failures using tools like Wireshark or roaming-specific platforms (e.g., Mobileum, Roamware, or SIGOS).
Proven ability to manage technical projects with external System Integrators and roaming partners under tight deadlines.
Bonus Points
Experience with 5G Unified Data Management (UDM) and Authentication Server Functions (AUSF).
Knowledge of Cloud Native Network Functions (CNF) and containerised core deployments.
Scripting skills (Python/Bash) for automating provisioning audits or log parsing.
