Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Product Engineer, you’ll take emerging ideas from concept to polished experiences. You’ll build sophisticated, intuitive user experiences while working across AI models, agentic workflows, and all parts of web infrastructure to ship complete products.
The Goal: Build products that can define major new categories for Replit. You will combine the flexibility of software with the accessibility of presentations, spreadsheets, dashboards, and visual editors, enabling anyone to create powerful, interactive artifacts through natural language.
The Audience: We build for the next generation of creators, knowledge workers, and high-leverage teams. Our users should be able to turn an idea, dataset, or business problem into a polished, editable, and shareable product just by themselves.
Candidates who thrive here often have the product judgment, technical range, and ownership mindset associated with founders. This is a high-visibility role working closely with product leadership.
HOW WE WORK
Structure: We operate as a collective of in-house technical founders, not narrowly specialized engineers. Initiatives are run by lean, autonomous teams built for velocity and technical leverage. Engineers maintain meaningful ownership over technical direction, product quality, and launch success, supported by Product and Design partners.
Cadence: We work in focused three-week sprints, shipping quickly, observing real user behavior, and incorporating feedback into each iteration. We value decisive execution, thoughtful experimentation, and the ability to make progress without perfectly defined requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own major product experiences from initial concept through design, implementation, launch, measurement, and continued improvement
- Invent and build intuitive interfaces for generating, editing, arranging, and collaborating on AI-created presentations, data applications, and visual artifacts
- Deliver exceptional frontend experiences across interaction design, typography, layout, motion, accessibility, performance, and error recovery
- Partner directly with users, Product, Design, and AI engineers to understand real workflows, test ideas, and turn feedback into better products
- Create reusable editing, visualization, and collaboration primitives that accelerate future products across Replit
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong record of shipping high-quality, user-facing products
- Understanding of the full agentic software development stack, helping coding agents build, test and review correct code
- Deep experience with TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS, along with strong knowledge of browser performance, application state, responsive design, and accessibility
- Strong product judgment and visual taste, with the ability to balance usability, speed, correctness, polish, and long-term maintainability
- Comfort working across the full stack, including Node.js, APIs, Postgres, data models, and production debugging
- Familiarity with agentic software development and how coding agents build, test, review, and operate software
BONUS POINTS
- Building visual editors, presentation software, creative tools, data applications, developer tools, or collaboration products
- Working with canvas or graphics systems, rich text, direct manipulation, real-time collaboration, data visualization, or complex interactive interfaces
- Designing user experiences around AI generation, streaming responses, tool calls, and long-running agent workflows
- Founding a technical company, working as a founding engineer, or shipping a high-visibility independent project
These experiences are preferred, but not required. We care most about what you have built, the quality of your product thinking, and your ability to learn quickly.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS YOU’LL WORK ON
- Building on top of our Replit Slides AI-native presentation product where users can generate beautiful decks, directly edit elements, collaborate with others, and reliably export their work
- Enable Replit Agent to turn raw datasets and natural-language questions into interactive, trustworthy data applications
- Design visual tools that make AI-generated work feel as precise, editable, and controllable as traditionally authored content
- Build reusable editing, visualization, collaboration, and artifact-management systems that power multiple new Replit products
- Develop feedback loops and evaluations that improve the visual quality of Agent-generated artifacts
This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The hybrid role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
Replit is the fastest way to turn ideas into software. With Replit Agent, anyone can build and ship a real application in natural language, without setting up a single tool. We've grown explosively, from $2M to $400M+ revenue in under a year, with a global community of 60+ million users, and Replit Agent is now one of the fastest-growing products in history.
That same wave is now hitting the enterprise. Companies like Visa, Ernst & Young and Comcast are rolling Replit out to thousands of employees so finance teams, operations leads, and product managers can build without waiting on an engineering backlog. When a company puts Replit in the hands of thousands of employees, they're trusting us with their data and their workflows. That trust has to be earned: SSO and SCIM that just work, governance their security team will sign off on, and real control over where their apps run and how their data is handled. Getting this right is what turns a pilot into a company-wide standard, and it's one of the biggest levers on Replit's next phase of growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Staff Product Manager to own Replit's enterprise product end to end. We've built one of the best coding agents in the world. The work now is making it just as powerful inside a big company, where putting it in front of every non-technical employee unlocks enormous leverage. That means extending what Agent can do in an enterprise context and building the platform that lets large organizations adopt it safely and at scale.
This is a role with unusual leverage. We're still early in our enterprise journey but the traction is remarkable, which means most of the platform is still to be built and you'll have an outsized hand in shaping it. You'll decide what we build next, why, and in what order, then drive it to ship with engineering, design, and a sales team that's closing deals every day.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Own the enterprise roadmap end to end. Set the strategy and priorities for everything that makes large companies successful on Replit, from getting through procurement to driving daily usage and expansion across the account.
- Make Replit Agent the best in the world at solving business problems for non-technical users. Turn our coding agent into the fastest path from idea to solving a real problem through software, with the connectors, skills, and workflows enterprise teams need to do mission-critical work.
- Build the enterprise platform. Own the capabilities serious buyers depend on: identity and access (SSO, SCIM), admin and governance, data privacy and compliance, and flexible deployment options like single-tenant and Cloud-Prem.
- Drive land-and-expand. Build the product-led motion that grows a handful of builders into a company-wide rollout, helping teams get more value from Agent, connectors, and reusable workflows along the way.
- Partner cross-functionally. Work hand in hand with engineering, design, sales, and security, turning what you learn from won and lost deals into product that ships.
- Be the voice of the enterprise customer. Spend real time with customers, on calls, in security reviews, and on-site, and carry those needs back into a company that grew up serving individuals and prosumers.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 focused on enterprise products.
- Fluency with IT and admin buyer personas and what they need to adopt and roll out software at scale.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional skills, with a track record of moving work forward across engineering, design, sales, and security.
- Strong technical judgment. You can understand deep technical concepts and go deep with engineers on security and infrastructure topics.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling into regulated industries and familiarity with frameworks like SOC 2 and HIPAA.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a mid-level Infrastructure Vulnerability Management Engineer with a strong background in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). In this role, you will bridge the gap between security, compliance, DevOps, and Platform engineering teams. You will identify infrastructure misconfigurations, secure multi-cloud environments, and manage continuous vulnerability lifecycles across cloud workloads, containers, and data repositories to satisfy strict regulatory compliance frameworks. You will also serve as a technical infrastructure responder during security incidents, deploying real-time cloud or network countermeasures to protect our production ecosystem.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Infrastructure Scanning & Triage: Perform continuous security scanning across our cloud posture and workloads. Review, validate, and prioritize flaws and misconfigurations based on CVSS scores, real-world exploitability, and infrastructure network exposure.
- Posture Management & Visibility: Own and optimize Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Kubernetes Security Posture Management (KSPM), and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) tools to ensure uniform compliance, prevent data leakage, and maintain hardened baselines.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Security: Configure, tune, and embed automated IaC security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines to identify architectural risks (e.g., overly permissive IAM, public S3 buckets/Cloud Storage) before they are deployed to production.
- Workload & Container Security: Manage the continuous vulnerability scanning lifecycle for container images, registries, and Virtual Machines (VMs), partnering with SRE and Platform teams to build automated base-image patching and rolling upgrade pipelines.
- Compliance-Driven Tracking: Track, document, and manage infrastructure vulnerabilities according to strict compliance SLAs (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS). Maintain audit-ready evidence of infrastructure remediation timelines and exception approvals.
- Executive Reporting & Alerting: Escalate and report critical production exposures directly to the CISO and senior leadership. Maintain dashboards and alerting mechanisms that visualize infrastructure risk trends and cloud compliance posture.
- Remediation Collaboration: Partner with SRE, DevOps, and Platform teams to provide clear infrastructure mitigation paths. Assist in writing, reviewing, or modifying cloud configuration templates directly when necessary to resolve security flaws.
- Incident Response Support: Assist Incident Response teams during active cloud or host-level breaches. Help develop and implement immediate, real-time cloud, network, or IAM configuration countermeasures to contain threats.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience: 5 years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Systems Engineering roles.
- Cloud Infrastructure Depth: Strong foundational experience working with multi-cloud environments (Deep GCP expertise preferred, with working knowledge of AWS or Azure).
- Posture Management & Scanning Tooling: Hands-on experience operating modern infrastructure security platforms such as Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud, Lacework, or cloud-native options (GCP Security Command Center).
- IaC and Automation Fluency: Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code platforms (Terraform, Pulumi) and GitOps deployment workflows. Ability to evaluate and configure IaC scanners like Checkov, Tfsec, or KICS.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deep understanding of Docker/container security and Kubernetes architectures (e.g., GKE, EKS), including runtime security, network policies, and workload identity.
- Compliance Awareness: Understanding of how infrastructure configurations and vulnerability management map to security compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, or NIST.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Systems Thinking: The ability to see the "big picture" and understand how security decisions impact the entire stack.
- Technical Influence: The ability to drive technical alignment across the organization through expertise and collaboration rather than direct authority.
- Autonomy: Comfortable leading major technical initiatives and driving outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A passion for breaking down complex security challenges into elegant, scalable engineering solutions.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Accelerate engineering velocity and reduce friction in the Replit development experience by stewarding our codebases, tooling, and developer workflows. You will directly impact every engineer who ships code at Replit. By focusing on developer experience, you will act as a force multiplier across all product development teams, enabling faster feature delivery, happier developers, and reduced operational overhead.
The role combines the technical depth needed to navigate a complex, polyglot codebase with the product mindset to understand how infrastructure decisions impact developer productivity and ultimately customer value delivery.
You will also partner closely with the AI team on our internal AI platform — which already generates more than 60% of all merged PRs at Replit — to improve the Agent's output and help shape strategy around the Agent's default stack.
This is an early hire in this area, so you will have agency and have an accelerated career path as the team undoubtedly grows.
YOU WILL:
- Maintain and evolve our codebase structure — a complex TypeScript monorepo, Go services, npm packages, and internal Agentic tooling.
- Own the build and test pipelines and optimize them to minimize build times and improve developer iteration speed.
- Drive code generation and type-safe interfaces across service boundaries (e.g., GraphQL, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, OpenAPI).
- Set the standards for code quality using automation tools such as TypeScript, ESLint, Prettier, and Go linters/formatters — building custom rules and plugins to enforce Replit-specific requirements.
- Streamline development setup and the onboarding experience.
- Work with platform teams to improve deployment processes, infrastructure integrations, and external tooling.
- Keep things fresh and modern in our codebase by adopting and leading migrations to better and faster tools.
- Partner with the AI team on our internal AI platform (which generates >60% of all merged PRs at Replit) to improve the Agent's output and shape strategy around its default stack.
- Help manage dependencies both internal (public and private) and external, including being the face of the company when interfacing with open-source libraries (e.g., sponsorships, upstream contributions).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Go and/or Nix.
- Expertise in modern build systems and toolchains (e.g., Vite, webpack, esbuild, Go's build/module system).
- Proficiency with linters, formatters, testing frameworks, and code generation tools.
- Experience managing monorepos or large-scale codebases.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience building self-service developer platforms (CI/CD, infra, or tooling) used by many engineering teams.
- Experience with AI-native development workflows — e.g., OpenCode, Claude Code, Cursor, custom agent skills.
- Open-source leadership or community contributions.
This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The hybrid role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

- Highly collaborative, with experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where you will need to build processes and programs from scratch.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate the value of AI-driven development to both technical and business audiences.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

Whether it’s an app for yourself, the next great startup idea, or a tool to make you more productive at work, Replit Agent can help build it. Replit is also the leader in secure vibe coding. We protect apps, give users features to manage security risks, and help them vibe code more safely.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will build powerful tools that help product engineers iterate rapidly on the Agent experience and directly enhance the core Agent itself. You’ll bridge the gap between the AI team (working on the core Agent logic) and the UX team (crafting delightful Agent experiences), enabling both groups to excel within their specialties.
This role blends systems engineering, developer experience and product engineering. We tackle complex challenges across the full stack, from browser-based interfaces to high-performance backends to Linux systems engineering. We’re looking for engineers who have a keen sense of the product experience and how to power it with performant systems.
On this team, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills across our infrastructure and product, and to lead end-to-end efforts with meaningful impact. We value diverse perspectives and encourage candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
YOU WILL
- Build high-throughput backend applications and services, like streaming chat between user and agent.
- Design a collaborative "Multiplayer Computer" that lets humans and AI agents work together on shared shells, filesystems, and state—conflict-free and in real time.
- Develop infrastructure (frontend & backend) that empowers product engineers to rapidly ship delightful user experiences.
- Design and build durable, well-crafted interfaces between the Agent and internal systems, as well as external agentic systems (MCP)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years professional experience in building backend services, systems and platforms
- Someone who values simplicity and pragmatism—you think radically but ship incrementally.
- Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously.
- Collaborative and team-oriented with a strong sense of shared ownership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience across the full-stack.
- Experience building AI powered tooling or products.
- Experience with collaborative editing technologies such as Operational Transforms (OT), CRDTs, or the inner workings of Git.
- Experience with event sourcing systems.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Problem-solving mindset: Ability to approach complex operational challenges systematically and devise effective solutions
- Self-directed and autonomous: Capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Continuous learning: Passion for staying current with industry best practices and new technologies
- Focus on automation: Strong belief in automating repetitive tasks and building self-healing systems

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our Enterprise Platform team and build the infrastructure foundations that enable the world's largest organizations to run Replit within their security and compliance boundaries. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll design and implement the deployment flexibility, networking capabilities, authorization systems, and data controls that enterprises require, from single-tenant architectures and private connectivity to custom policy enforcement and customer-managed encryption.
You'll work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and enterprise requirements, partnering with Platform Engineering, Security, and Sales to ship capabilities that unlock adoption at demanding organizations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build enterprise deployment infrastructure: Design and implement single-tenant and dedicated deployment options, enabling customers to run Replit with the isolation guarantees their security posture requires.
- Implement private networking capabilities: Build VPC peering, private connectivity, and static IP configurations that allow enterprises to integrate Replit into their existing network architectures.
- Design authorization services: Build the authorization infrastructure that enforces custom enterprise policies; enabling fine-grained access controls, custom permission models, and policy enforcement that integrates with customers' existing identity and governance systems.
- Ship data protection features: Implement bring-your-own-key (BYOK) encryption, customer-managed keys, and data residency controls that give enterprises ownership over their most sensitive data.
- Develop infrastructure automation: Write Terraform modules and automation that enable reliable, repeatable enterprise deployments across regions and configurations.
- Debug and harden systems: Dive deep into complex infrastructure problems spanning networking, authorization, Kubernetes, and cloud services to make our enterprise platform more robust and diagnosable.
- Partner with go-to-market teams: Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand enterprise infrastructure requirements, scope technical solutions, and unblock deployments.
- Contribute to technical strategy: Help define SLAs/SLOs for enterprise infrastructure reliability; participate in build-vs-buy decisions for complex infrastructure capabilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Typescript or Python; you write high-quality, well-tested code.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies in production environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking: VPCs, peering, private connectivity, load balancers, DNS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization systems: OAuth/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC models, policy enforcement.
- Familiarity with security and encryption fundamentals: TLS, encryption at rest, key management concepts.
- Strong debugging skills with an ability to trace issues across distributed systems.
- Excellent written communication; you can explain technical tradeoffs clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, networking, and IAM.
- Experience building multi-tenant or single-tenant SaaS infrastructure.
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance frameworks (SOC 2, FedRAMP, HIPAA) and how they translate to infrastructure requirements.
- Experience with customer-managed encryption keys (CMEK/BYOK) implementations.
- Background in developer platforms, cloud IDEs, or developer productivity products.
