Lead Product Designer

Responsibilities: — Take full responsibility for UX and UI across all mobile and web products, making final design decisions. — Collaborate with Product to understand users through research, data, funnels, and session replays, turning insights into prioritized hypotheses. — Design low-effort experiments and A/B tests with Product and Engineering, learn quickly and iterate without compromising quality. — Deliver flows, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and interaction specs with pixel-perfect execution. — Create and maintain Scrambly's design language, components, and patterns for consistency across platforms. — Represent design in leadership discussions and challenge product or technical decisions that negatively impact user experience. — Manage external partners such as agencies, UX writers, and researchers; hire, mentor, and grow the internal design team as the company scales. Requirements: — Over 7 years of experience in product design, especially with mobile-first consumer products. — A world-class portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX/UI craftsmanship, strong product thinking, and end-to-end work shipped at scale. — Experience as the sole or lead designer with full ownership of design decisions. — Hands-on experience with user research, usability testing, hypothesis-driven design, rapid prototyping, and A/B testing. — Experience leading or mentoring designers or managing agencies and external partners. — Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality, turning ambiguous problems into simple, elegant solutions. — Confidence in presenting and defending work with leadership and cross-functional teams. — Skills in animation, transitions, microinteractions, and practical use of AI tools in design workflow. — Strong ownership mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven startup environment. — English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
