We’re actively recruiting a Senior CRM Manager as we continue to scale at M-KOPA. You’ll drive the conversion growth that turns customers into long-term, high-value ones, creating financial inclusion for Africa’s traditionally excluded.
Responsibilities:
— Own and drive conversion growth through multi-channel campaigns (SMS, WhatsApp, push, in-app) in CleverTap.
— Manage reactivation and upgrade campaigns in the Repeat Phones pod, collaborating closely with the Growth Lead.
— Work directly with the Digital Lending lead to understand and eventually own the Digital Lending growth pod.
— Transition into the Lifecycle pod, reporting to the Lifecycle CRM Lead, bringing hands-on conversion experience.
— Track funnel performance, identify drop-off points, and run structured experiments with clear hypotheses.
— Document successful strategies into playbooks for future use.
— Maintain data quality and campaign tracking to ensure leadership trust in metrics.
Requirements:
— 5+ years in growth, performance, or lifecycle marketing, preferably in fintech, telco, or e-commerce.
— Proven ownership of campaigns or pods, not just participation.
— Strong judgment and ability to make strategic decisions independently.
— Genuine interest in pod leadership and career growth.
— Hands-on experience with CRM platforms like CleverTap, Braze, or similar.
— Comfortable analyzing funnels and cohorts without needing translation.
— Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and build trust with senior leads.
