Responsibilities:
— Manage the delivery organization including core engineering (sequencer, node and backend services), smart contracts, and infrastructure/DevOps.
— Ensure client delivery against contractual commitments including availability, latency, disaster recovery, and incident management.
— Operate production networks including public mainnet and permissioned networks.
— Develop and manage the technical roadmap in collaboration with Product and Sales teams.
— Complete the separation from the former parent company, rebuilding or handing over observability, deployment tooling, identity, and infrastructure-as-code.
— Establish engineering standards and release processes including testing, shipping, rollback, review, and maintenance.
— Hire, lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and team leads.
— Foster a remote-first, high-performing, collaborative engineering culture.
— Implement AI in daily engineering work.
Requirements:
— Deep experience with Ethereum and EVM.
— Proven leadership managing engineering teams of 20+ across multiple teams.
— Experience owning production systems under contractual SLAs and accountability for outages.
— Strong technical, strategic, and distributed systems expertise.
— Experience with blockchain, payments, exchanges, or market infrastructure.
— People-first leadership with high emotional intelligence.
— Strong communication and collaboration skills.
— Experience with regulated financial infrastructure and carve-outs or post-acquisition integrations is a plus.
