About ActAI There are over 5 billion users using basic applications today such email, notes, tasks, calendar and they're not AI-native. Our objective is to organise anyone's life. Role As a Web Frontend Engineer, you will build the core web experiences, including Chat, Notes, Calendar, Docs and Sheets. You will own complex, highly interactive product surfaces from architecture through implementation, working closely with product, design, backend and AI engineers to make AI a native part of how users communicate, write, organise and work. What You'll Own Build major web experiences across Chat, Notes, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets. Develop complex interactions including real-time messaging, collaborative editing, rich-text editing, scheduling, tables, and spreadsheets. Build reusable frontend architecture and components that work consistently across ActAI applications. Integrate streaming AI responses, proactive actions, and model-driven experiences directly into product workflows. Own frontend performance, responsiveness, reliability and accessibility across browsers and devices. Work closely with product and design to take ideas from prototype to production quickly. What We're Looking For Strong experience building complex, production web applications using React, TypeScript and modern frontend technologies. Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, browser APIs, and performance. Experience building highly interactive products such as chat, collaboration, productivity, document editing, calendars, or workspaces. Experience with real-time systems, WebSockets, streaming APIs, or collaborative interfaces. Strong product and UI judgment with attention to interaction details. Able to independently own features from technical design through production. Outcomes Users can communicate, write, organise and collaborate seamlessly across Chat, Notes, Calendar, Docs and Sheets. Complex interactions such as group messaging, editing, scheduling and collaboration feel fast and reliable. AI capabilities are integrated naturally into product workflows rather than added as separate chatbot experiences. Frontend architecture remains fast, maintainable and reusable as ActAI expands into new applications and workflows. The Role KIRA is building an AI Finance Superapp for Southeast Asia covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. These products handle real money, requiring reliability, regulatory compliance, and integration with third-party financial rails. The Technical Product Lead owns a product vertical end-to-end, from strategy and outcomes through technical design, delivery, and launch. AI is used where it genuinely improves outcomes, balanced with deterministic systems for reliability, auditability, and trust. What You'll Own — Own a product vertical end-to-end including strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery. — Shape technical design with engineering across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability. — Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience. — Build regulatory requirements into the product including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing. — Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling. — Ship products managing external dependencies like regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners. — Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements. What We're Looking For — 5+ years of product management experience owning complex technical products from strategy through production. — Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems. — Experience working closely with engineers, able to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs. — Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or other regulated, high-consequence product domains. — Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints. — Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability, and understanding when AI should not be used. Nice to Have — Engineering or highly technical product background. — Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products. — Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products. Outcome — Clear vertical strategy and legible roadmap. — Ships fast and clears launch blockers. — Money is correct and users are never misled about their funds. — AI features are valuable, predictable, and trusted. — Trade-offs are deliberate and defensible. — Alignment across engineering, design, compliance, and operations with minimal friction. Location This is a remote role hiring globally, requiring effective collaboration across multiple countries and time zones.
