ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Engineering Opportunities
- Location: Valencia
- Department: Space Systems
- Workplace model: Hybrid
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
WHY WE'RE OPENING THIS APPLICATION
We're growing a new engineering effort in Valencia that sits alongside our proven SAR satellite business: an advanced satellite capability, built from the ground up. It's early enough that your input on how the team works, and what it builds, will matter for years to come, backed by a company that already has satellites in orbit and customers using them.
This posting isn't tied to one fixed opening. We're building a pool of strong engineers so we can move fast as specific roles open, and we'll reach out directly about where you'd fit.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Since this is an open application rather than a posting for one specific role, here's what happens after you apply:
Our recruiting team reviews your background against current and upcoming openings on this program
If there's a fit, we'll reach out for an initial conversation about where you'd land
From there, you'll follow the standard process for that specific role: hiring manager interview, technical interview (often including a technical challenge), hiring team interview, and an offer decision

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🚀 YOUR MISSION
As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for full sales cycles from prospection to onboarding.
Most of your meetings will be with Founders, or Heads of HR or Finance.
You’ll understand their pain with incumbent insurers and connect that to how a 100% digital solution can help close critical gaps in the health system.
You’ll build relationships through outbound, hosting community events, attending conferences, writing content online & any other channel that increases your empathy and understanding of the market’s challenges.
You’ll share what you hear from prospects & customers so we adapt our product to best serve their needs.
You’ll work with marketing to build relevant campaigns, events, sponsorships and other initiatives.
You won’t wait for leads - you’ll go create them through action.
If you want to be handed a script & playbook on day one, Alan may not be the right fit for you. If you want to build with us, while we tackle these important challenges, you’re at the right place.
⭐️ WHO YOU ARE ⭐️
You may be a great fit at Alan if you have:
- 2 to 8 years as an Account Executive in B2B tech sales

- Experience at all stages in the deal cycle (ex. prospection through contracting)
Nice to have:
- You’ve moved from SDR or BDR to AE faster than your peers
- You’ve overachieved your quotas
- Experience working at a high-growth company
- Experience selling to HR or Finance leaders
- Experience in either health or insurance
- Experience winning deals in French
- Comfortable with Feedback and a Coaching Culture
YOUR PROFILE

- Ownership: you don’t sit back and wait, you go out and create value through action
- Communication: love written communication & sweat the details
- Initiative: you are OK to build your own decks, 1-pagers, and content. You don’t need a 100-person marketing team to make things happen.
- Outcomes focused: no-ego doer & scrappy; you want to put your name on something meaningful in healthcare.
- Thrive In-Person: our sales team works from the office 4-5 days a week - we believe proximity fuels collaboration and customer focus.

⭐️ THE ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE JOB
We’re expanding our Sales team in France and are looking for a ‘full-stack’ Enterprise Sales to engage with prospects and turn them into happy Alan customers. You will join a team that mostly focuses on large companies from Tech, Syntec, HCR, and B2B services, interacting with everyone from HR executives to CEOs.
Why is this segment interesting?
- Diverse workforce: Mix of 60% cadres / 40% non-cadres, often with subsidiaries or multi-site operations, ranging from highly tech-savvy employees to those requiring digital adoption support.
- Critical challenges: Multi-stakeholder decision processes involving HRD, CFO, CEO, Payroll, CSE, Legal, Purchasing, Comp & Ben, Accounting, Brokers (creating multiple potential blockers), long sales cycles (multi-year conversations), RFP processes requiring deep audits and product customization, and strong influence from unions/CSE who can co-manage health insurance topics;
- Company profiles: Flagship companies (widely known brands), groups with standalone entities or subsidiaries, often with focus on employee wellbeing (QVT programs, Great Place to Work), modern company culture, and strategic communication about digitization or employer brand attractiveness;
- HR priorities: Increasing productivity, obtaining fair and competitive pricing, contributing to employee well-being through customized health plans, simplifying HR processes with digital platforms, and managing change management concerns when implementing new health insurance (biggest fear for large companies)
- Critical business characteristics: This segment requires breadth & depth of expertise to navigate complex organizations, account-based strategies with Key Account Management approach, early engagement in company roadmaps, face-to-face meetings, co-creation of insurance and digital products (tailored offers considering past results, specific regimes, demographics, payroll system integration), and ability to work through RFPs and with brokers. Sales cycles are volatile with high stakes: 1 deal = 50% of annual target for Enterprise AEs.
Our approach for Enterprise companies positions Alan as a strategic partner in health rather than just an insurance provider, emphasizing our digital platform for fluid UX, customized health plans at fair pricing, and health/well-being services. Success requires leveraging high-level connections, building professional materials, and potentially creating exclusive "Health Clubs" or labels for early adopters.
What will you do with us?
You’ll own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. In our Enterprise Sales team, you will deal with companies with more than 300 employees, including all CAC40 companies.
At Alan, Account Executives drive deals and close strategic opportunities with prospects. We sometimes handle some customer relationships to ensure the best possible onboarding. You’ll educate prospects, provide inspiring product demos, and onboard key stakeholders, making the transition from prospect to customer seamless.
We expect you to understand and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method https://alan.com/fr-fr/blog/tout-alan/a/nos-commerciaux-ne-vendent-pas. This method ensures the prospect experience is an integral part of the overall Alan customer experience—making it pleasant and delightful for everyone. We expect you to be instructive to prospects (Smart), as well as to define the best personalized high-touch strategy that suits best each prospect (Soft).
You’ll also help us grow and improve as a company, challenging us to enhance our product(s), methods, and strategy, and getting involved in initiatives to expand our customer base.

⭐ IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
You’ll be a great fit for the Enterprise team at Alan if you:
- Have at least 8 years of experience in Sales, including at least 2 years managing the whole Enterprise Sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Have full working proficiency in French (C2 and above) and an advanced level in English.
- Are highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills;
- Have empathy and are passionate about understanding and solving prospects' problems;
- Can influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building;
- Have a deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models;
- Have a great attitude and ability to collaborate in a small team;
- Are eager to learn fast and make an impact from day 1;
- Are based in (or willing to relocate to) Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes or Biarritz.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the D-F level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.

- Critical challenges: Multi-stakeholder decision processes involving HRD, CFO, CEO, Payroll, CSE, Legal, Purchasing, Comp & Ben, Accounting, Brokers (creating multiple potential blockers), long sales cycles (multi-year conversations), RFP processes requiring deep audits and product customization, and strong influence from unions/CSE who can co-manage health insurance topics;
- Company profiles: Flagship companies (widely known brands), groups with standalone entities or subsidiaries, often with focus on employee wellbeing (QVT programs, Great Place to Work), modern company culture, and strategic communication about digitization or employer brand attractiveness;
