The ideal candidate will containerize services using Docker, manage build, compilation, and publishing workflows for JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++ packages, and design robust multi-language build pipelines leveraging CMake or similar build tools.
The role also includes automating build, tagging, and publication processes across web, desktop, and mobile platforms to ensure consistent and traceable releases. Deep expertise in Linux system administration, networking, and IaC tools is essential to deliver
scalable, secure, and highly available deployments.

Implement and enforce test-driven deployment systems, integrating automated testing, validation, and monitoring to maintain code quality and accelerate feedback cycles.
Containerize applications and microservices with Docker, optimize image builds, and manage deployment pipelines for distributed environments.
Oversee the build, packaging, and publishing lifecycle for JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++ packages, including versioning, semantic tagging, and NPM or internal registry publication.
Develop and maintain cross-platform build pipelines using CMake or equivalent tools, ensuring consistent compilation and release workflows across web, desktop, and mobile.
Automate end-to-end release processes, including tagging, building, signing, and distributing mobile, web, and desktop applications.
Define and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure environments.
Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot deployment issues, optimize performance, and improve release reliability.
Continuously improve observability and feedback loops, leveraging monitoring and alerting systems to maintain operational excellence.
Mandatory:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools at scale in a production environment.
Strong proficiency in test-driven deployment methodologies, including writing and maintaining automated test suites for integration and end-to-end validation.
Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker, including image creation, registry management, and basic orchestration patterns.
Experience managing package lifecycles for JavaScript and TypeScript, including versioning, compilation, semantic tagging, and publishing workflows to NPM.
In-depth knowledge of C++ build systems, specifically CMake, with proven experience optimizing native build and deployment pipelines.

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build the event-processing pipelines and services that turn Nebius product usage into revenue.
You will work on systems that process a continuous stream of usage events, where correctness and failure recovery matter as much as throughput. The output is money: a silently dropped or double-counted event is a real financial error.
Usage of every Nebius product arrives as a stream of events. Our pipelines and services ingest, validate, enrich and price it in near real time, and deliver the results to invoicing, reporting and customer-facing account management.
In this role, you will:
Build stateful streaming pipelines that compute billed consumption in near real time.
Develop and operate Go services that ingest usage events, move data between our storage systems and deliver consumption data to users through usage APIs and billing data exports.
Guarantee correctness under failures: idempotency, exactly-once processing and reconciliation.
Operate transactional storage, persistent queues and change data capture under high throughput.
Build reusable streaming infrastructure rather than solving each use case independently.
Improve the reliability, scalability, latency and observability of the billing platform.
Take end-to-end ownership of your systems: design, implementation, reliability and deployment.
We expect you to have:
Strong software engineering fundamentals.
Professional experience building and operating backend, streaming or data-intensive systems.
The ability to reason about consistency and data correctness under failures.
Experience with databases, messaging systems or event-processing platforms.
The ability to investigate unfamiliar systems and solve problems without an obvious predefined solution.
The ability and willingness to learn the team's technology stack.
It will be an added bonus if you have:
Experience with a stateful stream-processing framework such as Apache Flink or Kafka Streams.
Experience designing streaming pipelines.
Go development experience.
Experience operating services in Kubernetes.
Technology stack
Go, Python
Apache Flink
YDB
YTsaurus
Messaging and event-streaming systems
