ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Growth Engagement Specialist to play a critical role in Wealthsimple's proactive client communication initiatives. This role is both technical and creative, where you'll work on the planning and execution of end-to-end growth marketing campaigns across Wealthsimple's brand and product ecosystem, using AI-assisted tooling to do it faster and better than ever before.
The ideal candidate is one who can think "client-first," who can balance multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing on quality, and who understands the interconnected technical and creative elements of consumer performance marketing programs — including where AI can meaningfully accelerate or improve that work. You'll be joining our multidisciplinary Growth organization where you'll work with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and other growth and lifecycle marketers like yourself.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own day-to-day execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (esp. in-app content, email and mobile push), including segmenting target audiences, orchestrating multi-channel journeys, building templates, QA & deploying campaigns, and reporting on performance
- Use AI tools (e.g. Claude, Braze's AI features, or similar) to improve QA, content generation, campaign briefs, and reporting, and help build repeatable AI-powered workflows for the broader lifecycle & growth teams
- Ideate & experiment on growth engagement strategies/tactics, including personalization and content variation, to drive client acquisition, activation, retention and engagement
- Split your time roughly 50/50 between partnerships (integrating and marketing new partner offers, growing perk usage/redemptions, and supporting sponsorship activations) and referral growth (running monthly campaigns and experiments to increase acquisition through referrals)
- Analyze campaign and program performance; proactively report on campaign impact, client behaviours, and experimental results/learnings, using AI tools to accelerate analysis and synthesis where useful
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2-5 years hands-on experience using marketing automation platforms (Braze or Iterable preferred); demonstrated ability to rapidly adapt to new tools and processes
- 1+ year experience coding for email, or equivalent HTML/CSS skill required; SQL experience a plus
- Genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools (e.g. Claude or similar) in day-to-day marketing execution, comfort experimenting with prompts, workflows, and AI-assisted QA, not just traditional tooling
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation across channels, campaigns, and more required
- Understanding of marketing technology best practices, including responsive design, inboxing/deliverability, and audience segmentation
- Campaign performance analysis & reporting, A/B testing experience required; demonstrated experimental design ability a strong plus
- Familiarity with key elements of lifecycle marketing acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention strategies & tactics (esp. automated customer journeys, triggered comms, and multi-channel campaigns)
- Experience with mobile marketing (e.g. push notifications, in-app messaging) is a plus
- Proven success in working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Product, Creative, Engineering, Data, etc.) to set and execute against data-informed growth targets/OKRs

An overview of this role
As a New Business Solutions Architect, you’ll be a trusted advisor to GitLab prospects in the EMEA region, helping them understand how GitLab’s DevSecOps platform addresses both technical requirements and business objectives across the entire software development lifecycle. You’ll guide organizations through their digital transformation journeys, from planning through monitoring, using your technical expertise, understanding of cloud and modern software development practices, and strong customer empathy. Reporting to a regional Solutions Architect manager and partnering closely with New Business Account Executives and cross-functional teams, you’ll own technical evaluations (including proof of value initiatives and workshops), shape solution architectures, and serve as the voice of the customer back to Product Management. In your first year, you’ll focus on driving successful platform adoption, influencing revenue growth through solution selling, and building long-term, trust-based relationships that showcase GitLab’s differentiated position in an AI-driven DevSecOps landscape.
What you’ll do
Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation (including proofs of value) to show how GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers’ technical and business needs across the full lifecycle.
Drive the technical evaluation process as the Directly Responsible Individual, including solution design, POC/POV ownership, workshop design, and the technical components of tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
Collaborate with New Business Account Executives and regional sales teams in EMEA to shape and execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion.
Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding them through GitLab-driven digital transformation and enabling them to become GitLab advocates.
Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices, challenging existing approaches to improve return on investment.
Serve as the voice of the customer with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing by sharing feedback, use cases, and competitive insights that inform roadmap and positioning.
Maintain and extend your technical expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and related cloud technologies, creating reusable examples, best practice guidance, and technical collateral for customers and partners.
Invest in your own growth and development through ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to continuously improve the impact of the Solutions Architect team.
What you’ll bring
Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation.
Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.
Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms, and the ability to map platform capabilities to customer use cases.
Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies, with the ability to discuss deployment, security, and operations options with technical teams.
Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments.
Clear technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messages for practitioners through to senior business and technical decision makers.
Skill in building trusted relationships, listening with empathy, and acting as a customer advocate to internal teams such as Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
Motivation to continuously develop professionally, including learning new technologies, deepening GitLab platform expertise, and applying transferable experience from related fields.
About the team
We, the Solutions Architect team, are part of GitLab’s Sales organization and serve as the technical counterpart to Account Executives, with this role focused on opportunities and reporting into a regional Solutions Architect Manager. Our mission is to help customers realize the full value of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform by advising on architecture, running technical evaluations such as proofs of value, and guiding customers through their digital transformation. We work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, collaborating asynchronously across regions to share best practices, create reusable technical collateral, and act as the voice of the customer. Maintain and track detailed budgets across multiple currencies and regions for the developer events portfolio.

This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.

We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
About the Role
We're looking for an IT Solutions Engineer who thinks like a systems builder - someone who doesn't just run internal infrastructure, but engineers it away where it shouldn't need a human at some point. This is a build-focused role on our IT Operations team. As we scale past 600 employees, our biggest lever is no longer closing tickets faster - it's removing the work that generates them.
You'll own the automation and integration layer that connects our identity, HR, device, and SaaS-governance systems, so that provisioning, deprovisioning, and access lifecycle events happen reliably and automatically instead of by hand. You'll pair closely with our Solutions Engineer, help set the technical standard for how automations are built and documented, and work cross-functionally with Security, People Ops, and DevOps to design end-to-end solutions rather than point fixes.
A DevOps and API background is exactly what this role is built around: you're comfortable reading API docs, wiring 2-3 systems together, scripting from scratch when a no-code tool won't cut it, and thinking about reliability, edge cases, and security from the first line. Above all, you're curious - about the systems you build, the people who depend on them, and how your engineering decisions impact the business.
What You'll Do
Build the access lifecycle automation layer:
Own the design, build, and maintenance of automated provisioning and deprovisioning across our top applications by ticket volume. Implement birthright roles for our highest-volume employee profiles and HiBob-driven trigger events (joiners, movers, leavers) that flow through to downstream systems without manual intervention.
Integrate our core systems:
Build and maintain the integrations that tie HiBob → JumpCloud → Tequipy (and Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and the wider SaaS estate) into one coherent, event-driven lifecycle. Use REST APIs, SCIM, and our self-hosted n8n instance to create complex, reliable workflows.
Manage identity and access at the backend:
Configure and debug SSO/SCIM and SAML flows in JumpCloud as our Identity Provider. Own SSO app integrations end to end, troubleshoot complex provisioning and authentication issues, and keep access governance clean and auditable.
Deliver the Security controls programme:
Build the automations behind our security and compliance initiatives - local admin removal, least-privilege enforcement - contributing directly to DORA, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 efforts. Security is embedded in every config and every script, not bolted on afterward.
Administer and optimize business-critical platforms:
Manage the technical backend of Jira Service Management as our ITSM platform - configuring workflows, request types, forms, and automations to streamline internal processes - alongside the wider Atlassian Suite, Slack, and Notion.
Own endpoint automation:
Build and test JumpCloud MDM device policies, profiles, and scripts for zero-touch deployment across Windows and macOS endpoints (via Apple Business Manager), handling software deployment and OS-level configuration at scale.
Drive SaaS and budget optimization:
Monitor system logs, performance, and SaaS usage to identify waste and cost-saving opportunities, and implement the technical changes that reclaim them (e.g. license reclamation flows).
Document everything you build:
Proactively create and maintain technical documentation configs, automation flows, API maps - so that what you build can be run, understood, and extended by the rest of the team. Reliable, documented, alerted workflows are the standard, not the exception.
Lead technical projects:
Lead smaller technical projects end to end a new SSO app integration, a JSM form build-out, a new integration between systems - owning them from requirement to delivery, and providing technical guidance to the team as you go.
Who You Are
At least
3 years in IT support
, systems administration, or IT/DevOps engineering, with hands-on expertise across Windows and macOS environments.
Strong IAM experience: JumpCloud (or a comparable IdP) for SSO, SCIM, and SAML - including configuring integrations and debugging complex provisioning and authentication issues.
Strong MDM / UEM experience: endpoint management via JumpCloud MDM (or Intune / Jamf), including profiles and scripts for zero-touch deployment.
An automation-first mindset with real scripting skills - PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar - to build reliable, scalable solutions from scratch, not just wire up templates.
API fluency: comfortable reading API documentation and integrating multiple systems (REST APIs, webhooks, SCIM). Experience with n8n or a comparable automation/iPaaS platform.
Proficiency administering Google Workspace (or M365) and experience with ITSM tools - ideally Jira Service Management (workflows, request types, automations).
Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences - able to explain configs and tradeoffs to Security, People, and Engineering alike.
Advanced use of AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, draft automations, and continuously raise the bar on operational efficiency.
Strong Plus
Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, DORA, SOC 2) and SaaS governance / management tooling.
Experience with HRIS-driven automation (HiBob or similar) and hardware lifecycle tooling (Tequipy or similar).
Experience in high-growth, modern infrastructure environments.
ITIL 4 Foundation and JumpCloud Core Certification (or willingness to certify).
What We Offer
As a growing fintech with ambitious goals, we offer you the chance to make a real impact on the infrastructure that powers Finom's teams and products. You'll work with genuine ownership, autonomy, and the freedom to shape how we build and operate our internal systems.
This is a role for a curious builder - someone who wants the internal platform to be a product, engineered to be reliable, automated, and secure by design. If the idea of deleting an entire category of manual work by building the right integration is what gets you out of bed, this is your team.
What You Will Get In Return
