Senior Software Engineer - Session Replay
The Opportunity:
The Session Replay squad is building a new Grafana Cloud product that helps our customers to understand what users actually experienced when something goes wrong.
Session Replay
connects frontend signals (errors, performance, synthetic checks) to concrete session-level evidence, enabling faster and more confident investigation of production issues.
This team works at the intersection of:
frontend observability,
backend data processing and storage at scale,
debugging workflows across products,
privacy and access control,
performance and cost constraints at scale.
Session Replay
is still early, which means you’ll help shape both what we build and how it fits into Grafana Cloud. A key part of our next phase is evolving the backend architecture of capturing sessions, including a migration toward columnar/analytical solution as a primary storage and query engine for high-volume session data.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a new perspective to the software. We are looking for Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about working with data and providing seamless experiences for our customers to join our growing team! Our stack is Golang, Typescript and React, but we build tools for people using many other stacks.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will operate as a technical leader and systems thinker, driving both product direction and architectural evolution, specifically, you will:
Own end-to-end technical direction for Session Replay,
spanning frontend, backend, and data systems
Drive the evolution of our backend architecture, including:
Designing systems around columnar/analytical data storage for large-scale session data
Defining data models, ingestion pipelines, and query patterns
Lead the design of investigation workflows,
connecting replay with logs, metrics, traces and other telemetry across Grafana Cloud
Make high-leverage architectural decisions
that impact multiple teams and products
Partner with teams across Grafana (Frontend Observability, Synthetic Monitoring, Core Grafana) to build
cohesive cross-product experiences
Engage directly with customers
- joining calls, gathering structured feedback, and helping customers instrument and adopt Session Replay successfully.
Improve engineering standards, patterns, and operational practices within the team
Mentor engineers and help grow technical leadership within the team
Technologies you'll work with:
Go (backend services and APIs)
Columnar/Analytical data storage (core data storage and querying)
Object storage (S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage) and MySQL
TypeScript / React (user-facing workflows)
Grafana ecosystem (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, etc.)
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
You are
comfortable working in a remote-first company
; communication is key.
For us, working together means being
collaborative, friendly, kind, and respectful
. We operate by consensus. You can contribute to a discussion, disagree constructively, and commit to the team’s decision. You are able to communicate design decisions clearly in written and spoken English.
Ability to reason about data-intensive systems
(ingestion, storage, querying, cost trade-offs)
You are
comfortable owning features in ambiguous problem spaces
. We are a small team, working remotely, on a product that will be used by engineers all over the world – the ability to work on your own is crucial.
You have a good understanding of
a software development process that takes a user-centered approach
. You easily build an understanding of the users’ context and goals which will help you build the right solution with the maximum value.
You enjoy
working on complex solutions
– Grafana is a highly technological solution and has avid followers who rely on it every day and who care deeply about their workflows. You value code maintainability, readability & automation.
You use
AI tools as a natural part of your engineering workflow
- whether for accelerating exploration, code review, or reasoning through design tradeoffs - and you're thoughtful about where they help and where they don't.
Bonus Points For:
Experience with columnar/analytical databases
Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, etc.).
Experience building debugging or developer-focused tools.
Familiarity with privacy, security, and access control in data-heavy systems
Experience working on performance-sensitive systems (large datasets, real-time queries, session data)
Compensation & Rewards:
In the United States, the Base compensation range for this role is USD

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
In this role, you will have ownership of the full sales cycle - from identifying leads to closing deals with Global 2000, large enterprises within Eastern Canada. We’re looking for an approachable and compelling communicator who loves working with prospects to uncover their needs and feels comfortable developing tailored value propositions around how Cohere’s platform can help them achieve their business goals. You’ll lay the foundation for Cohere’s growth by owning your territory and collaborating with teammates across customer success, sales development, marketing, and solution architecture. You’ll be the voice of the field and help our product and engineering teams prioritize the Cohere roadmap with customer-centric care. It’s a highly self-directed role, so you should be someone who thrives in an unstructured and quickly evolving environment. And your opportunity for impact will be astronomical — Cohere has skies-the-limit potential, and you’ll help us reach it.
As an Account Executive you will:
- Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound activity and relationship building with key stakeholders while also bringing a strong network of key decision-maker and influencer contacts to drive strategic partnerships and win sales opportunities
- Work closely with customers and prospects as a consultative, trusted advisor who deeply understands their challenges and goals, their technology ecosystem, and will tailor solutions to drive measurable impact for their businesses
- Work in close partnership with channel partners to find opportunities to scale outreach and customer satisfaction in your region
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams as well as customer success on strategic motions to deliver solutions to large enterprise customers
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity
- Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach through proof-of-concept, deal close, and deployment ; this is not a transactional sale that you can walk away from after the contract is signed but rather requires ongoing oversight of the project to ensure success
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 8-12+ years of previous B2B sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprises negotiating and closing transformational multi-year (2-5 year) SaaS deals in the 7 figure range, and a track record of high performance and exceeding quota
- Previous experience as a technical consultative salesperson, selling complex products, such as developer tools, API products, or AI / NLP solutions, are a plus.
- Previous experience working with customers during the deployment phase of the engagement, aligning on how best to configure and customize the solution that supports success in production and builds trust to set up for expansion and growth
- Previous experience working with channel partners such as cloud hyperscalers and system integrators to drive sales cycles and hit shared revenue goals
- High tolerance for ambiguity - as an early sales hire, you’ll have to be a self-starter, doer and a strategist who is capable of wearing many hats and doing what it takes to figure out a path to success
- Curiosity - you want to go deep on NLP and become an expert on our technology while considering how to fit into a large organization’s technology landscape
- Fantastic communication skills - you are a great listener, have a knack for understanding what matters most to others, build strong relationships, can speak to the c-suite, and feel comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical audiences
Additional Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the enterprise landscape, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Ability to articulate the value of AI and NLP solutions in the context of Fortune 2000 operations.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.
- 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent.
- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.

You'll build a joint marketing plan with each partner and run executive programs and joint announcements. You'll also turn partner deliveries into the customer proof our field needs. Partners are now attached to a large and fast-growing share of Anthropic's biggest enterprise deals. Your job is to make those partnerships deliver more every quarter.
This role is hands-on. You'll think strategically about each partner relationship while running the campaigns, events and enablement yourself. Our scaled programs team supports the rest of the partner network. You'll focus on the partners where hands-on marketing moves the most business, and use those scaled programs where they fit.
Key responsibilities
Partner Marketing Strategy & Execution
Own joint marketing plans for an assigned group of high-performing GSI and RSI partners, including quarterly planning, campaign calendars, and success metrics tied to target accounts and pipeline goals
Develop joint campaigns and executive programs (CXO dinners, executive briefings, tentpole event activations) aimed at C-suite and senior decision-makers at enterprise customers

Spot RSIs gaining traction and help them grow into higher tiers
Content, Proof & Enablement
Build joint value propositions, messaging, and enablement materials (pitch decks, solution briefs, case studies) that help partners position Claude with their enterprise clients
Turn partner deliveries into proof: capture wins for sellers, and work with Customer Marketing to produce partner-led customer stories that meet each partner's tier requirements
Get your partners carrying Anthropic's priority messages and launches, and build them into Anthropic's own campaigns with the Campaigns team
Put the team's co-marketing guidelines, campaign kits and self-serve assets to work across your partners
Program Management & Measurement
Lead end-to-end execution with your partners, coordinating across product marketing, demand generation, field marketing, events and agencies
Manage partner funding (MDF/co-op) for your partners and track ROI on joint investments
Track and report partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, story output, and campaign ROI, with 30/60/90-day pipeline tracking on every activation
Represent Anthropic at partner events, executive briefings, and industry conferences as needed
Feed what works back into playbooks the scaled programs team can run across the wider partner network
Minimum qualifications
Have built and run partner marketing programs with Global System Integrators, major consulting firms, or regional systems integrators, and can shift between large firms and smaller, faster-moving ones
Understand enterprise buyer journeys and can create marketing programs that resonate with C-level executives

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.

exceptional and commercially-minded senior lawyer
to lead the legal and compliance function of a profitable, fast-growing technology company that is privately held with the intention to list on a public exchange. We’re looking for someone with genuine fluency in the software industry and in open source dynamics, who can translate that insight into clear positions on licensing, commercial contracts and risk, and hands-on execution.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will
own Canonical's legal, regulatory and governance posture
and lead a distributed team across EMEA and the Americas. Your primary challenge will be to continue building both the team and the architecture: a management layer across two regions, and the governance, contracting and controls a public company needs, in an environment that regularly does things the industry has not done before. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams on licensing and IP questions, with the security function on customer assurance, and you will advise the Board and its committees directly.
In our selection process, we

alongside depth of practice. We are looking for someone with a strong academic background, an active licence to practice, and demonstrable exposure to a multilayered global operational environment.
Location:

The role entails
Leading the global Legal and Compliance function: setting it's structure, standards and priorities across EMEA and the Americas.
Building and managing a management capability: hire and develop managers, set objectives, review performance against a clear bar, and address under-performance directly.
Setting the operating cadence of the function: intake and prioritization of legal work, service expectations with internal clients, and reporting on workload and risk to the leadership team.
Owning public-market readiness on the legal side: corporate governance, group and entity structure, delegated authority, policies, disclosure controls and records, in partnership with Finance.
Advising the CEO, COO, CFO and the Board, and supporting in Board and committee meetings.
Owning the commercial contracting framework: standard templates, negotiating positions, and a deviation and escalation process that makes commitments visible before they are signed.
Leading intellectual property and open source licensing strategy, including copyleft, trademark and the terms on which Ubuntu and our products are distributed.
Owning the global compliance programme: data protection and privacy, export controls and trade compliance, anti-bribery and corruption, competition and AI regulation.

Advising on M&A, partnerships, strategic alliances and financing as the company grows.
What we are looking for in you

A degree in law, or equivalent, and an active licence to practice in an EMEA or Americas jurisdiction.
Substantial senior in-house experience in a global technology or software business.
Proven experience leading a distributed legal team, including managing managers across regions and time zones.
A track record of setting and holding a high performance bar: hiring well, developing people, and dealing with under performance directly rather than waiting it out.
Experience building or restructuring an in-house legal function, including deciding what is retained, delegated and sent to external counsel.
Technology related experience of:
negotiating and owning commercial technology contracts, including enterprise software and subscriptions, channel and reseller agreements, hardware manufacturer agreements, cloud and services
advising on open source licensing, including permissive and copyleft licences, and familiarity with how open source communities operate.
Experience of, or demonstrable readiness for, public company governance: listing preparation, board and committee support, disclosure and controls.

About the role
This role runs the internal posture engine — the risk register, critical control monitoring, evidence, audit operations and GRC tooling. It keeps risk state current so the Lead and the Risk Committee decide from accurate data in the Risk Dashboard and reporting. Drata is the register of record. Named owners close gaps; this role keeps the register, evidence and audit operations current.
Responsibilities

Keep the ISMS and security policy library current as part of audit readiness. Draft security standards when commissioned by the Lead.
Run Drata as the control and evidence system — Statement of Applicability, framework crosswalk and automation.
Execution
Run critical control monitoring: health check-ins, drift flags and Drata automation. Route drift to the SOC. Maintain the evidence file for Lead assessments and independent internal audit.
Feed threat-assessment findings into the register and confidence ratings. Track which required assessments are current.
Lead audit coordination and preparation: ISO 27001 and SOC 2 logistics, ISMS readiness, team prep, management-review pack, and customer due-diligence questionnaires.

Tracking and evaluating performance
Track residual risk, exceptions and gap-closure against appetite. Exceptions expire and are reported; the underlying requirement stays in force.
Report register state and evidence health so the Lead and Risk Committee work from one view.
Achieving overall defined performance
Be accountable for a current, defensible posture engine — register, evidence and audit operations.
Ensure Drata collects evidence continuously, with automated evidence where coverage exists.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience running a risk register, control library and audit cycle (ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2).
Comfortable with GRC platforms (Drata or equivalent) and turning monitoring into evidence.
Proven ability to coordinate audits and customer questionnaires with named control owners.
Precise written work; register and Statement of Applicability quality matters.
Strong stakeholder management with control owners and auditors.
CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor, or equivalent professional certification.

About the Client
Our client is involved in an innovative data-collection project, which focuses on creating video datasets for training AI models. These AI models are designed to learn from first-person (POV) video footage. The captured videos depict real people involved in hands-on tasks with a mounted phone on their head or chest, paired with spoken narration. The purpose is to enable the model to connect visual inputs (objects, hands, actions) with audio descriptions.
About the Role
The Recorder role requires individuals who can master a specific hands-on activity from a selection of verticals. You will need to film yourself performing these tasks from a first-person perspective using your smartphone while ensuring the tasks are clearly visible. If fluent in English, you may narrate live; otherwise, ambient audio will suffice, and a separate narrator will cover the task later.
Tasks & Deliverables
— Select a mastered sub-area activity and record a complete end-to-end process.
— Ensure hands and the procedure are constantly in focus.
— Provide live narration if fluent in English or ambient audio for post-recording narration.
— Deliver videos in MP4 format with accompanying JSON metadata.
— Maintain narration density at 25 words per minute; ensure 90%+ of speech describes the setting or task steps.
Required Skills
— Mastery of at least one specific sub-area activity from the provided list (e.g., cleaning, laundry, organizing, pet care, repairs, gardening, sewing, woodworking, automotive repair, art, technology use, personal care, medical procedures, culinary skills, lab protocols).
— Capability to record stable, clear POV videos with a smartphone.
— Ability to work in a real setting without third parties in frame.
— Competent in following a prepare → execute → finish script for filming tasks.
Nice-to-have Skills
— Experience recording tutorials or classes.
— Access to various settings for diverse video backgrounds.
— Owns equipment like a head/chest mount, image stabilization tools, or a good microphone.
Rules
— No personal data on video — no third-party faces, screens, documents, plates, addresses, mirror reflections.
— 100% human narration — no TTS or synthetic voice.
Engagement Details
— Compensation model: Hourly paid, considering the total number of hours for approved videos.
— Commitment Type: Flexible hours based on video submissions.
— Duration: Ongoing, with earnings based on the number of approved videos.
— Location: Remote, with flexible overlap with client's timezone.
— Start Date: Immediate start upon approval of test video.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is growing quickly across Asia Pacific, and our International Recruiting Coordination team is building for it. As our first Recruiting Coordinator based in Singapore, you'll deliver a warm, high touch interview experience for candidates across APAC, including Japan, Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. You'll partner closely with our APAC recruiters and recruiting managers, be the local point of contact for candidates and interviewers in the region and help keep hiring moving around the clock as part of a follow the sun coordination model with your teammates.
As you'll be first in seat, you'll also help shape how coordination works in a region where we're still building: spotting what's missing, documenting what works and making it easier for the people who join after you.
You'll own coordination for your region end to end and act as our go to operator for APAC hiring logistics, working independently with support from your manager.
Responsibilities:
Schedule a high volume of APAC interview loops, from hiring manager screens through onsites, debriefs and reference calls, across multiple time zones, languages and stakeholder calendars.
Be the primary point of contact for candidates on logistics, with a warm, clear and culturally aware tone that makes every candidate feel supported and informed.
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers as a trusted advisor: flag capacity risks, local holidays and market norms early, and help them see around corners.
Keep our systems accurate for APAC roles, including Greenhouse job setup, interview plans; scheduling tool configuration and supervise automations.
Provide coverage within our follow the sun model, with clean handoffs so candidates never feel the gaps between regions.
Support recruiters and RecOps with regional hiring operations as our APAC footprint grows, such as new locations, entity changes, offer logistics and onboarding handoffs.
Improve our processes and document what works.
Independently scope and lead projects, from problem to adopted solution.
Use AI tools as a core part of your daily workflow.
You may be a good fit if you have:
4+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or high volume scheduling, ideally supporting multiple APAC markets.
Experience coordinating across time zones and markets, with an understanding of local business norms across APAC.
Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (e.g., Greenhouse) and a scheduling tool (e.g., ModernLoop, GoodTime).
Excellent written communication, especially a knack for friendly, informative emails that build rapport and convey information clearly.
Comfort creating structure where there isn't one yet, and the judgment to know when to escalate.
Hands on fluency with AI tools, and the judgment to know when to trust the output and when to override it.
A love of feedback, and comfort both requesting and providing it.
Fluency in English (native or business-level).
Additional APAC languages (e.g., Japanese, Korean or Mandarin) a plus.
A genuine interest in Anthropic's mission and our deep commitment to AI safety.

Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Join Anthropic's Customer Success team as our early Singapore-based Customer Success Manager as we pioneer the future of enterprise AI adoption. As a Customer Success Manager at Anthropic, you'll be the strategic partner and trusted advisor to our most complex customers across ASEAN, helping them harness the full potential of all our Claude capabilities - Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, and the API.
You'll develop genuine partnerships with customers, gaining a deep understanding of their business objectives, strategic direction, AI vision, and technical needs. You'll draw on both your business acumen and technical expertise to serve as a strategic advisor throughout their journey with us.
In partnership with the broader account team you will help customers identify the right Claude capabilities for their specific business objectives, working closely with them to provide best practices and guidance while supporting them as their usage (consumption & seat based) grows and evolves.
Your role focuses on helping customers scale their usage effectively, implement change management strategies, optimize use cases, and maximize the value of their investment through expanded use cases across their organization. The insights you gather from your customers will directly inform our product development and go-to-market strategies — making you a key voice in shaping how we build and deliver ongoing value as a business.
As our early CSM in Singapore, you'll be a pioneer - helping to build regional processes, establishing new customer relationships, and representing Anthropic's brand in a high-growth market. You'll operate with significant autonomy while maintaining strong alignment with global teams, requiring someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and can work effectively across time zones.
Responsibilities:
Build trusting, strategic relationships with customer decision makers to understand their business and objectives, identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion
Become an expert in Anthropic's products across API, Claude Enterprise, and Claude Code, understanding the technical nuances and best practices for each to guide customers to the right solutions
Leverage your deep knowledge of the customer and regional nuances to proactively drive usage planning, understanding current and future consumption/adoption and how it creates realized value for the customer
Monitor usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities, proactively addressing underutilization across both our consumption-based and seat-based products to drive full value from contracted commitments
Serve as the customer's thought partner, enhancing their knowledge of Claude products by socializing Anthropic's product roadmap, driving awareness on new products and engaging Product PMs as the voice of ASEAN and broader APAC customers
Document and quantify customer value realized through business outcomes, ROI, and impact metrics to build compelling internal business cases for continued and expanded investment
Identify potential use cases and lines of business not currently onboarded, partnering with customers to discover new applications for Claude across different departments, teams, and workflows
Develop and execute change management strategies to drive end-user adoption and maximize value within customer organizations, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and organizational enablement
Own the customer experience across their lifecycle — managing comprehensive account and success plans grounded in the customer's business objectives, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, and serving as the primary conduit between the customer and Anthropic
Build Anthropic's brand and customer relationships as the early in-region CS presence, developing where needed, ASEAN-specific processes, playbooks, and best practices that account for regional business cultures
You may be a good fit if you have:
8+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (Customer Success, Consulting, Solutions Architect, Solutions/Functional Consultant, Success Engineer or similar)
Mandarin language fluency
Experience driving success across both consumption-based and seat-based business models, with understanding of different expansion levers and success metrics for each
Technical fluency with ability to understand and articulate AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns to various audiences
Strategic mindset to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable expansion plans
Cross-functional collaborator who represents the customer in a positive, proactive manner, rallying everyone around paths forward that solve customer needs
Strong project management skills and a knack for bringing order to chaos, demonstrating an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality and team player mindset
Passion for AI and interest in responsible development of advanced systems
Experience working in and building a growing region, while navigating across time zones with US-based headquarters

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As Claude's capabilities grow, so does our responsibility to ensure those capabilities reach the right people. The Access Programs team builds the systems that verify who our customers are, grant access to advanced model capabilities for approved use cases, and ensure that access is not misused. As a software engineer on this team, you will build the identity, vetting, and access management infrastructure that underpins our trusted access programs, along with the monitoring and enforcement tooling that keeps them safe. This work sits at the center of how Anthropic deploys frontier capabilities responsibly, balancing broad access with rigorous safeguards.
Responsibilities:
Build identity verification and vetting systems (KYC/KYB) that establish who our individual and business customers are
Design and implement access control systems that grant, scope, and revoke access to advanced capabilities based on approved use cases
Build infrastructure to configure safety systems and detection thresholds on a per-customer basis for trusted access programs
Develop monitoring to detect misuse of expanded access, and tooling that enables enforcement teams to act on it
Partner closely with policy, enforcement, threat intelligence, product, research, and go-to-market teams so that access decisions are well-informed and consistently applied
Build systems that identify account compromise and takeover, apply mitigations in real time, and carry affected accounts through to full remediation
Design and build the dashboards, alerting, and internal admin tooling that give the team and its partners clear visibility into the health and outcomes of our access programs
Integrate with third-party identity verification and data enrichment vendors
You may be a good fit if you have:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable experience
Experience building and operating backend systems in production
Strong coding skills in at least one general-purpose programming language, and experience building software with AI coding tools
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Care about the societal impacts of AI and want your work to make powerful systems safer
Strong candidates may also:
8+ years of industry software engineering experience
Experience building shared platforms or foundational services that many teams and products depend on, rather than one-off solutions for a single use case
A track record of working across functions (for example engineering, product, policy, operations, and go-to-market) to gather requirements, reconcile competing needs, and drive adoption of what you build
Experience with identity, authentication, or authorization systems at scale
Experience with KYC/KYB workflows or identity verification vendors
Experience in trust and safety, integrity, fraud, or abuse detection
Experience detecting and responding to account takeover or credential compromise
Experience partnering with operational teams to build custom internal tooling

Lead the technical design and delivery of large, complex frontend initiatives across multiple teams.
Drive frontend platform, design system, and shared architecture strategy for long-term scalability.
Define and improve standards for versioning, testing, documentation, accessibility, security, performance, and maintainability.
Lead modernization of a monolith or legacy frontend architecture toward modular, reusable, and independently deployable systems.
Establish versioned module or host contracts and build, test, deploy, release, and rollback practices for safe operations.
Create shared patterns for dependency management, design system integration, observability, error isolation, and performance budgets.
Guide technical direction through clear written proposals and architectural leadership. Partner with product and engineering leaders on platform roadmaps, technical debt, and investment trade-offs.
Mentor senior and intermediate engineers. Establish guardrails for artificial-intelligence-assisted and agentic workflows that protect code quality, security, privacy, and evaluation standards.
What you’ll bring
A sustained record of technical leadership across teams or a broad product area.
Deep frontend architecture and production experience in complex web applications.
Experience scaling or governing a design system, frontend platform, or shared component architecture.
Experience with modular frontend architecture in production, such as package encapsulation, Web Components, frontend islands, runtime composition, or an equivalent architecture.
Experience creating alignment without formal authority through clear written proposals and decision records.
Experience balancing user outcomes, delivery speed, technical health, and long-term platform investment.
Experience mentoring engineers and shaping standards through code review and documentation, including evaluating and improving artificial-intelligence-assisted or agentic engineering workflows.
Helpful, but not required: experience with Vue, React, Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript; PostgreSQL, Redis, or object storage; representational state transfer or GraphQL application programming interfaces; Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine, Docker, or Google Cloud Platform; and observability tools such as Prometheus or Sentry.
About the team
On the Core DevOps team, we own core repository capabilities, from Git command-line operations to web-based code exploration. We develop new features and platforms, improve existing capabilities, and improve maintainability, accessibility, performance, and workflows for teams using artificial-intelligence-assisted development tools.
