HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐ THE ENGINEERING TEAM ⭐

Being an engineer at Alan means joining a team of talented, committed and passionate engineers, with a lot of product interaction.
We move fast, with a lot of ownership, and are proud to tackle big problems!
Our process is very simple: those who make product decisions are the same ones who build them.
Our stack is Python/Flask, React, React Native, PostgreSQL.

WHICH AREA WILL YOU JOIN ?
By applying to this role, you’ll be considered for three different areas. Throughout the hiring process, we’ll discuss your experience, strengths, and interests, alongside our current hiring needs, to determine which area would be the best fit for you and where you could have the greatest impact. We’ll share this with you before the final stage of the process.
- Claims Management: We refund €350M+ in healthcare expenses every year to 1M+ members across France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada. Our mission is to pay each member the right amount, as quickly as possible, while staying cost-effective for Alan. We have built the entire claims chain in-house, from LLM-powered parsing of 2.5M documents per year https://medium.com/alan/how-we-reached-70-document-processing-automation-at-alan-674bc80f3ef3 and a global coverage engine that determines how much each member should receive, to payment infrastructure, fraud prevention https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/chaque-euro-fraud%C3%A9-%C3%A0-lassurance-sant%C3%A9-cest-un-de-moins-martos-ssxae/, and the member experience across mobile and web https://medium.com/alan/universalisation-at-alan-how-we-stopped-building-everything-twice-7feb8d88a4a8. You’ll work on deep systems that must be reliable 24/7 and operate at scale, where every improvement has a direct impact on a member’s bank account.
- Insurance Offer: We build the infrastructure that protects 1M+ people across four countries. Our mission is to make insurance simpler, more scalable, and more effective for our members and customers. You’ll work on real-time pricing, AI-powered tools that empower Sales, and Alan’s next-generation global insurance stack. More information here https://medium.com/alan/how-we-refactored-one-of-our-most-used-data-models-33cadaf31313 and here https://medium.com/alan/one-stack-for-every-country-and-product-inside-alans-core-stack-e87a127efa12.
- Customer Enablement: We run the engine behind every company that joins Alan. We bill 40K+ companies across four countries, affiliate their employees, and keep payroll and employment data accurate for 1M+ members. Our mission is to build the shared infrastructure that enables other Alan services to operate reliably and efficiently. You’ll work on a multi-country billing and invoicing platform, affiliation and employment systems that determine who is covered and from when, reconciliation tooling that identifies coverage and billing mismatches, and the APIs used by other teams to build their services. These are systems where correctness is non-negotiable: a wrong invoice or a missed affiliation can be visible to a company within the same week.
⭐ IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Strategic accounts at Baseten are the largest and fastest-growing AI companies in the world. These are the teams defining the future of what AI products and services look like. These accounts can scale rapidly from one token to billions of tokens in a matter of weeks. This role owns these relationships, working directly with founders and engineering leaders on mission-critical and large-scale-AI problems in production—and shaping what we build next.
This is a highly technical sale. You’ll trade opinions on the latest open-source model releases, run fast and nuanced evaluations alongside customer engineering teams, and often pulling in SMEs from applied research to infrastructure engineers to win. You’ll bring tight sales fundamentals and process discipline, while maintaining flexibility and creativity in how you run each cycle.
This role is pioneering what sales looks like at the bleeding-edge of technology sales. This is a front row seat to the most consequential decisions made at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence. There is no faster place to learn and make an immediate impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own a focused portfolio of high-growth, strategic AI-native accounts end to end — from technical evaluation and initial workload landing through expansion as inference usage scales.
- Lead technical evaluations and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first conversation through close. Bring strong sales fundamentals and process discipline, while staying flexible and creative in how you run each sales cycle.
- Build trusted relationships with founders and technical leaders, becoming a credible partner on model, infrastructure, and inference decisions.
- Orchestrate stakeholders across applied research, engineering, and leadership to win technical evaluations and solve customer problems.
- Bring customer signal back to product, shaping roadmap priorities through the needs and patterns you see in the field.
- Stay close after close: help customers expand from an initial workload into additional use cases across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of sales experience in infrastructure, developer tools, data, or another consumption business, with a record of closing complex technical deals.
- Proven net-new experience selling complex technical products in fast-moving environments.
- Strong sales fundamentals across discovery, multi-threading, champion-building, and deal momentum.
- Genuine curiosity for open-source models and the AI infrastructure landscape. You follow model releases and can hold your own with engineers.
- Highly dynamic: comfortable when a deal goes off-script, able to meet customers where they are, and willing to change your approach without losing rigor.
- Strong technical project management: you can run a thorough evaluation across multiple workstreams and create clarity and direction for Baseten to win.
- Proven ability to sell internally, earning engineering time, aligning leadership, and getting cross-functional teams to move
- Scrappy, low-ego, collaborative operator. You run toward ambiguous problems, create structure where none exists, and earn internal support without relying on rigid swim lanes.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.

We are looking for a web engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, making sound architectural decisions, and building systems that remain robust and maintainable as requirements evolve.
You will work across frontend and backend, improve the technical foundation of our web platform, and help us build scalable solutions that enable our teams to manage and publish content. Solve complex technical problems in a pragmatic way, balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability
Drive architectural improvements that make our web ecosystem more robust, scalable, and easier to work with
Build and improve our back-end functionality in PHP and Laravel for integrations, dynamic features, and internal tooling
Extend and optimize our CMS and publishing workflows to support efficient content operations without compromising technical quality
Improve performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and technical SEO foundations across the platform
Work on the evolution of our current web architecture, while also challenging existing approaches when better solutions exist
Collaborate with design, marketing, product, and engineering teams to turn business requirements into well-structured technical solutions
Interface with back-end systems written in C++, ensuring reliable and efficient data exchange across system boundaries
Identify opportunities to improve developer experience, reduce complexity, and raise the overall engineering standard of the platform
Take ownership of technical tasks and help define best practices for modern web development at think-cell
What we are looking for
Strong experience building and shipping production-grade web platforms, applications, or systems
A proven ability to solve non-trivial technical problems and work confidently in complex web related codebases
Strong full stack engineering skills, with solid backend experience in PHP, Laravel, or similar technologies and a frameworks
Strong frontend fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern approaches to building maintainable user interfaces
Good judgment when making architectural and technical trade-offs
A pragmatic mindset: you know when to build for flexibility and when to keep things simple
Curiosity and confidence to work with unfamiliar technologies or domains when needed
A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality, maintainability, and technical outcomes
Experience collaborating across disciplines and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English
