Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
The Role
As a member of the US Talent Acquisition team focused on Research and technical hiring, you will be instrumental in building and scaling Mistral's US-based research and engineering teams from the ground up. Joining early means you'll help shape both our technical recruitment strategy and operations, partnering closely with Research leadership across Research Science, Research Engineering, and adjacent technical functions. Your work will directly influence Mistral's frontier-model ambitions by ensuring we find and engage exceptional researchers and engineers who will drive Mistral's growth in the US. In this role, you'll also foster a strong candidate experience and help establish technical recruiting best practices as we expand across the US.
What You Will Do
Technical Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner deeply with technical leaders — from Research Scientists and Research Engineers to team leads and hiring managers — to understand hiring needs, define role specs, and identify the right technical talent
- Own full-cycle recruitment across Research Science and Research Engineering, with flexibility to support other technical roles as they come along
- Advise hiring managers on market mapping, leveling, comp positioning, and the competitive landscape for US research and engineering talent
- Translate the nuances of each technical role into compelling, accurate candidate outreach
End-to-End Technical Recruitment
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to close, operating with autonomy on complex, competitive technical roles
- Source passive and active candidates across US research and engineering talent pools — from PhD students and postdocs to experienced researchers and engineers at leading AI labs, universities, and technology companies
- Conduct intake and calibration sessions with hiring managers to align on ideal candidate profiles and stage expectations
- Drive efficient, high-conversion pipelines and close candidates in a fiercely competitive market for top research talent
Candidate Experience & Selling Mistral
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with clear communication and a compelling narrative about Mistral's mission, culture, and trajectory
- Articulate Mistral's positioning in the AI landscape — frontier models, open-weight philosophy, and research credibility — to differentiate us against better-resourced labs
- Provide candidates with real insight into our research agenda, compute access, publication culture, and the specific impact of their role
- Deliver a high-quality, respectful candidate experience at every stage, regardless of outcome
Recruiting Operations & Data-Driven Improvement
- Develop and refine technical recruiting processes, tools, and documentation to improve outcomes and efficiency
- Use data to diagnose pipeline issues (e.g., drop-off at specific stages, time-to-fill by role) and propose targeted solutions
- Build and maintain market maps, competitive intel, and talent pools for key US research and engineering segments
- Standardize technical interview rubrics, scorecards, and debrief practices across US technical hiring teams
Raising the Bar
- Collaborate with Research leadership and the broader Talent team to continuously elevate our hiring standards
- Contribute to defining and evolving our technical talent acquisition strategy in the US as we scale our research presence
- Partner on employer-brand and outbound sourcing initiatives — including academic pipelines, conference presence, and open-source community engagement — that position Mistral as a destination for top research and engineering talent
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a startup or high-growth environment, with a focus on Research Science and Research Engineering roles
- Demonstrated ability to independently hire across the technical stack — from Research Engineers to Research Scientists, and senior research talent
- Deep network and sourcing expertise in US research and engineering talent markets, with credibility in AI/ML and ideally connections across top labs and universities
- Track record of hiring in competitive, candidate-scarce markets where top researchers have multiple offers
- Experience working across multiple US markets, including relocation and visa-driven hiring
- Willingness to work on other roles as needs come up
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior technical stakeholders without direct authority
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle shifting priorities across a high-volume hiring slate
- Professional experience with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby
- Familiarity with the AI/ML research landscape and the ability to credibly discuss frontier model capabilities, research directions, and publications with technical candidates

ABOUT LANGFUSE
Langfuse is the open-source LLM engineering platform that helps teams build useful AI applications through tracing, evaluation, prompt management, datasets, and metrics. We are now part of ClickHouse. Like ClickHouse, Langfuse is open source, and we work in public: our product, docs, changelog, roadmap, and community discussions are visible to the developers and teams who use us. Langfuse is already one of the most widely adopted platforms in the category: trusted by 19 of the Fortune 50 and 63 of the Fortune 500, with 50M+ SDK installs per month, 6M+ Docker pulls, and 30k+ GitHub stars.
We are hiring a Head of Marketing for Langfuse.
This is a hands-on marketing leadership role for someone with deep experience in product marketing, developer marketing, and technical content. You will own how Langfuse shows up in the market, manage the Langfuse marketing team, and turn our current founder-led, product-led motion into a holistic marketing ecosystem.
The core of the role is still product marketing and developer trust: positioning, launches, category narrative, developer content, website, customer proof, lifecycle, funnel, sales enablement, and the way we explain Langfuse to technical users and technical buyers. At the same time, Langfuse now has access to ClickHouse's global go-to-market engine. You will be the person who makes those resources work for Langfuse without diluting the Langfuse voice.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own Langfuse marketing strategy and execution globally, with product marketing and developer content as the center of gravity.
- Manage and develop the Langfuse marketing team, including Product Marketing Engineering, Developer Advocacy, and Product Marketing content and resources.
- Define the operating model for Langfuse marketing: what sits in the Langfuse pod, what runs through ClickHouse shared teams, who owns what, and how we measure whether it is working.
- Build the marketing plan across positioning, launches, website narrative including product pages and conversion paths, customer proof, onboarding, lifecycle, funnel, sales collateral, campaigns, and events.
- Own the Langfuse category narrative: LLM observability, evals, prompt management, datasets, agent observability, self-hosting, and the broader LLM engineering workflow.
- Keep the developer motion strong: useful technical content, examples, cookbooks, docs-adjacent education, changelog, town halls, open-source communication, and high-trust product launches.
- Partner with ClickHouse demand generation and field marketing to make enterprise marketing systematic rather than ad hoc: webinars, workshops, regional events, conferences, paid campaigns, retargeting, and follow-up motions.
- Create the canonical Langfuse sales narrative and enablement system so ClickHouse AEs, SAs, field teams, and leadership can confidently explain Langfuse.
- Lead customer marketing and proof: case studies, technical stories, customer references, logo strategy, community stories, enterprise migration stories, and reusable sales narratives.
- Use data to run the function: unique visitors, signups, activation, revenue, product usage signals, campaign performance, attribution, event ROI, pipeline creation, pipeline acceleration, and qualitative user feedback.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:
- You have led product marketing, developer marketing, DevRel, growth, or demand gen marketing for a technical SaaS product.
- You have marketed to developers, infrastructure teams, AI teams, data teams, security teams, observability teams, or another highly technical audience.
- You are a strong product marketer at the core: positioning, narrative, launch strategy, competitive thinking, customer proof, sales enablement, and technical buyer messaging are natural territory for you.
- You write exceptionally well. You can make complex technical ideas clear without making them shallow.
- You are technical enough to use the product, understand the market, earn credibility with engineers, and spot vague or misleading marketing.
- You understand product-led growth and open-source funnels: activation, onboarding, conversion, lifecycle, self-serve adoption, usage signals, and sales-assisted expansion.
- You understand enterprise marketing enough to work with demand gen, field marketing, sales, solutions, and regional teams. You do not need to personally run every event or paid campaign, but you need to know what good looks like and how to make the system work.
- You can manage a small, high-talent team while remaining hands-on where the work needs senior judgment.
- You are comfortable building the function while the company is changing around you. Some work will be cleanly owned. Some work will require influence, coordination, and judgment across a larger organization.
- You already create content: blog posts, talks, product explainers, social posts, newsletters, videos, docs, demos, or open-source examples.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager to join our Data Platform team. This role will report to the Product Lead for Data Platform. This team owns the infrastructure and data that powers Garner’s transformative approach to delivering high-quality and affordable care. In this role, you’ll be given wide-ranging responsibility to shape how Garner ingests and governs the data that powers our business and how we ensure quality and security from the start.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
Develop the roadmap for ingesting and processing client data, shaping our strategy and developing scalable and consistent approaches that ensure quality and speed
Own the experience for connecting to client data and making it available to internal consumers to process member payments efficiently and report results to clients
Embed deeply with internal teams, employers, and integration partners to understand their pain points and develop product ideas
Drive new product and feature development from ideation to launch
Develop prototypes and build and ship minor features end to end
Define success metrics for every initiative, ensuring we have the data in place to measure outcomes and rallying the team around what winning looks like and how we get there
The ideal candidate has:
2–4 years of product management experience, ideally on data platforms, integrations, or infrastructure products
Experience with data ingestion and file-based data exchange (e.g., claims, eligibility, or payments data) and partnering closely with data engineering teams
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on using data to define success metrics, drive decisions, and measure outcomes
Technical fluency — comfort working with data pipelines, writing basic SQL, building prototypes, and shipping minor features end-to-end
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort working across technical and non-technical teams and external integration partners
A high level of autonomy and ownership — able to move quickly and independently in ambiguous problem spaces
1 year of working in an AI-forward development environment
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.

to be embedded in

Director of Marketing Operations
and serve as the dedicated data & analytics partner for our
Growth Marketing
team.
Growth Marketing is responsible for getting employees to sign up and use their Garner benefit — through email, SMS, direct mail, in-app, in-office materials, and employer-led communication channels. We're looking for an
exceptional, AI-native data & analytics manager
to own how member activation and engagement are operationalized and measured across channels. You'll own the
audience targeting & segmentation
(SQL queries in Snowflake for our email / sms / direct mail targeting, partnering closely with Engineering) and build the
Business Intelligence layer
that powers our member engagement campaigns, ranging from cross-system data pipelines, attribution modeling, experimentation frameworks, and funnel & lifecycle analysis through core reporting and dashboards. You'll define the metrics behind member growth and ensure those definitions hold consistently across systems. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our growth engine — helping us engage more members, deliver a first-class member experience, and improve health outcomes at scale.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
Targeting & segmentation (campaign operations):
Own the audience targeting, segmentation (SQL queries of Snowflake data tables to be built into our Iterable system), and personalization data behind our email, SMS, and direct mail campaigns. Partner with Engineering to troubleshoot upstream Data issues that affect our marketing campaigns, as well as enhance and automate the data mechanics and pipelines so the program can scale.
Analytics & Reporting:
Own how member activation and engagement are measured end-to-end (e.g., Looker dashboards). Define, build, and maintain the KPIs, metric definitions, performance reports, and dashboards Growth Marketing runs on — funnel and lifecycle metrics, email/SMS campaign activity, channel efficiency, operational health, and KPI target setting.
Product & engagement analytics:
Bridge marketing activity to member behavior in the Garner app so the team can optimize communications over time.
Experimentation:
Develop and execute on the Growth Marketing team’s A/B testing program and performance reporting.
Data governance:
Build our data foundation alongside Data Management & Engineering, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Growth Product to ensure our data is analysis-ready and trustworthy. Build workflows, documentation, QA practices, and tooling that ensure our metrics are standardized across systems and campaigns.
Systems & technology stack:
Uplevel our data sophistication by designing and building at the systems level, leveraging AI in order to maximize scale and leverage.
What you will bring to the team:
4–6+ years in marketing & growth & analytics, business intelligence, growth analytics, marketing analytics, or a similar data-centric role.
Growth & marketing, B2C, B2B2C, and Product-led Growth subject matter expertise preferred but not required (e.g., customer funnel analytics, cohort and retention curves, channel attribution, lifecycle email/SMS/direct mail performance, targeting/segmentation, personalization)
Expertise in the modern data stack
.
Hands-on proficiency with Snowflake, SQL, Python, and visualization tools
(e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar). Experience with ESP/CRM event data (Iterable, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, or similar) is a strong plus.
Experience in experimentation & reporting
. Familiarity with A/B and incrementality test design, statistics, measurement, and optimization.
Analytical rigor and problem framing
. You turn a vague business question into the right analysis, define a defensible metric, and state your assumptions rather than jumping to a chart. You’re a strong communicator who’s comfortable using insight to drive decisions for a marketing audience and executives.
AI fluency
. Comfort with and excitement about harnessing AI agents to build analyses, design dashboards, and validate results.
Self-starter approach
with the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and juggle multiple priorities & deadlines, doing whatever is necessary to ensure company success. You thrive in a
fast-paced, dynamic
startup environment.
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team
that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.

What you'll get here:
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.
At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.

Senior Product Manager, Core People Technology
Location:
London |
Work model:
Hybrid |
Reports to:
Senior Manager, People Product
About the team
People Technology builds and runs the systems behind every hire, transfer, leave, pay change and offboard for our workforce across DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt. Our mission is to make the operational backbone of People Operations invisible when it works — reliable, compliant, and scalable across dozens of markets — so our people teams can focus on people, not process. This role sits on the People Product team, working alongside Business Systems Analysts, engineers and delivery leadership to bring product thinking to one of our highest-volume, highest-consequence surfaces.
About the role
Core is the Workday and HR platform surface that nearly every People Operations process runs through — pay, leave, employment status, right to work, and multi-country compliance for a global workforce. Demand structurally exceeds capacity, and requests arrive from every direction without a shared shape. You'll be the first dedicated product manager for this space, responsible for turning that inbound chaos into a defensible, well-communicated plan — and, over time, for building the intake, frameworks and partnerships that let the space run on systems rather than on you.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you'll be shaping tickets and sizing work alongside analysts and engineers, not managing from above.
What you'll be doing
Own the prioritised order of work for Core — building a clear, ranked plan, explaining the reasoning behind it, and being explicit about what's being deferred and why
Turn vague or incomplete partner requests into documented problems, mapped current-state processes, and testable outcomes
Partner directly and regularly with People Operations, Compliance, Payroll, Total Rewards and Business Systems Analysts, including holding "not now" conversations without damaging the relationship
Work hands-on with analysts and engineers to shape, size, and write tickets, keeping an accurate and current picture of committed, shipped, and carried-over work
Build and evolve the operating model across the analyst and engineering pod — the mechanisms, documentation and intake processes that let the space run with less coordination overhead
Use AI tools to accelerate translation of messy, multi-format, multi-language inbound requests into structured requirements and plans, while applying clear judgment about what should never be automated (anything touching pay, leave, employment status or right to work)
Escalate proactively on statutory or audit exposure, cross-space dependencies, and any trade-off that would move a compliance date
Report progress and delivery against plan to partners and leadership, including clear communication when outcomes fall short
Requirements
Experience owning a product or systems area end-to-end, with real decision rights over scope and sequencing — not co-ownership of a feature
Hands-on background with Workday or a comparable HRIS as a product manager or technical program manager, with genuine understanding of configuration, business processes, and integrations
Demonstrated ability to prioritise when demand structurally exceeds capacity, including a repeatable method (not just instinct) for deciding what to do and communicating what won't get done
Proven delivery in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, comfortable starting when requirements are incomplete or undocumented
Experience translating a partner's requested solution into a well-defined problem, current-state understanding, and testable outcome
Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including compliance, payroll, or other regulated/audit-exposed functions
Practical fluency with AI tools for requirements drafting, documentation, and structuring unstructured information, paired with sound judgment about where not to apply them

At Deliveroo, we believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgement when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest-growing businesses in a rapidly growing industry.
We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of our hiring process. We recognise that some candidates may require adjustments to apply for a position or fairly participate in the interview process. If you require any adjustments, please don't hesitate to let us know. We will make every effort to provide the necessary adjustments to ensure you have an equitable opportunity to succeed.

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the team
The People Technology Product team builds the internal tools and frameworks that power every employee’s journey across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt. We combine a hybrid “build + buy” approach to deliver intelligent, scalable and people-centric experiences across hiring, pre-boarding, onboarding, learning, performance and more — connecting our mission to transform the way the world eats and shops with the experience of the people who make it happen. We partner closely with Design, Engineering, Analytics, People/HR and IT to build products that elevate the entire People Tech stack across all three brands.
About the role
We’re hiring a Staff Product Manager to own the product experience for pre-boarding and onboarding — one of the highest-leverage moments in the employee lifecycle — across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on the cross-functional experience that begins the moment a candidate signs and continues until a new hire is fully ramped, spanning both the People and IT functions. You’ll be the end-to-end product owner for the systems, workflows and experiences that get equipment, access, accounts, paperwork and early enablement right from day one. Based in London and working with global teams, you’ll drive measurable improvements to the new-hire experience and help our new hires ramp up faster, at scale across regions, legal contexts, and brands.
What you'll be doing
Own the end-to-end product roadmap and execution for pre-boarding and onboarding across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt, from offer acceptance through to a fully ramped new hire.
Design and evolve cross-functional experiences that connect People and IT workflows — provisioning, access and account setup, equipment, documentation and early enablement — into a single, coherent journey for new joiners and their managers.
Define and track the metrics that matter — time-to-productivity, new-hire satisfaction, day-one readiness and operational efficiency — and use them to prioritise work and demonstrate impact.
Build durable, modular product capabilities — task orchestration, status visibility, and manager and new-hire dashboards — that scale across geographies, orgs and brands and reduce reliance on manual, one-off processes.
Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, People/HR and IT to translate complex, cross-functional process needs into intuitive product capabilities.
Navigate the realities of a multi-brand, multi-region environment — varied legal and compliance requirements, regional differences and change management — without disrupting critical hiring moments.
Set the product vision and influence senior stakeholders across the People and IT functions, building alignment on a shared onboarding strategy across all three brands.
Model strong product judgement: define clear problem statements, scope MVPs intentionally and invest in foundations that compound over time.
Requirements
A track record of building and shipping products end-to-end — from problem definition and strategy through delivery and iteration — ideally in People/HR, IT or other complex, cross-functional environments.
Experience designing products and workflows that span multiple functions, systems and stakeholders, turning complexity into simple, usable experiences.
Comfort working with both custom-built tools and third-party SaaS platforms, including integrating data across systems.
Strong analytical skills and the habit of using data and metrics to define success, prioritise and measure impact.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain product decisions clearly and influence senior leaders across functions and brands.
Experience operating across regions, legal contexts or multiple brands, building products that work in a global environment.
A bias for delivering high-quality products in a fast-moving organisation, balancing speed, risk and technical constraints.

Workplace: Remote
LOCATION AND TRAVEL
You can be based in Europe; we're mainly remote and invite you to the Berlin office 3-5 days every two months.
We expect significant travel across the Europe, with occasional travel to other regions when the audience quality justifies it. The exact cadence will change with the event calendar, but you should expect travel to be a meaningful part of the job.
WHY THIS ROLE?
Langfuse has grown mostly through product-led, open-source adoption. We built a strong product, wrote useful docs and examples, stayed close to users, shipped in public, and helped developers understand how to build better AI applications.
However, many of the highest-signal moments happen in person: hallway conversations, workshops, meetups, dinners, conference demos, and technical talks.
We want someone who can own that motion end to end; put Langfuse in the right AI engineering rooms, make the product clear to technical audiences, and turn in-person conversations into durable marketing momentum.
The goal is not to do every event. The goal is to make the right events excellent, scalable, and measurable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Represent Langfuse at conferences, meetups, workshops, customer events, partner events, and community gatherings across Europe
- Run live demos and technical sessions on tracing, evals, prompt management, datasets, metrics, and related LLM engineering workflows.
- Build and maintain field-ready material: demo flows, workshop runbooks, talk abstracts, event landing pages, follow-up emails, signup flows, and conference-in-a-box assets.
- Organize Langfuse-hosted meetups, workshops, dinners, and smaller technical gatherings around the highest-quality audiences.
- Partner with ClickHouse field marketing, sales, solutions, product marketing, and engineering teams where it helps Langfuse show up well.
- Turn event learnings into useful artifacts: better messaging, better demos, better docs, better talks, better customer stories, and sharper product feedback.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You have worked in DevRel, product marketing engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, developer advocacy, or technical community roles.
- You have spoken at developer conferences, meetups, workshops, webinars, or technical customer events.
- You already create technical content, demos, videos, talks, open source projects, or educational material.
- You should be excited to travel, give talks, run demos, host events, talk to developers and technical leaders, and bring what you learn back into the company.
- You care about developer experience, open source, AI engineering, and the quality of the rooms you spend time in.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and can independently decide what to do before there is a mature playbook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
A strong plus:
- You are a former engineer, or deeply technical operator who can credibly explain software to experienced developers.
- You can write code well enough to build, debug, and maintain demos or workshop material.
- You are deep in AI engineering, LLM observability, evals, agents, or developer tools.
- You have original opinions that experienced developers value.

WHY PRODUCT ENGINEERING AT LANGFUSE
Your work will have an outsized impact.
Everything you build is open source (MIT-licensed) and immediately visible. Langfuse has 35,000+ GitHub stars and our SDKs are downloaded more than a hundred million times per month. When you ship a new feature the community notices in GitHub issues, on X, and in our community channels.
Product engineers at Langfuse are the people who deliver new features end-to-end to our users. You own the product thinking from understanding the user problem to deciding what to build to shipping the solution.
You will also have direct exposure to how cutting-edge LLM applications are built. The users you serve are some of the best and most ambitious software engineers leveraging Langfuse to improve their applications. Deeply understanding the problems they solve will help you design the best possible product and along the way makes you an expert on LLM engineering yourself.
YOU WILL GROW AT LANGFUSE BY
- Own features end-to-end: from talking to users, to writing the spec, to shipping the code and docs, to writing the changelog post https://langfuse.com/changelog with your name on it. To give you a sense: recent features a single engineer owned include the Langfuse for Agents https://langfuse.com/changelog/2025-11-05-langfuse-for-agents release (new trace views, agent graphs, semantic span labels), the TypeScript SDK v4 https://langfuse.com/changelog/2025-08-28-typescript-sdk-v4-ga rewrite on OpenTelemetry, and managing dashboards via API/CLI/MCP https://langfuse.com/changelog/2026-07-17-dashboard-and-widget-operations-in-api.
- Work across the full stack: and we mean full. Our surface area is wide: React frontend, Next.js backend, ClickHouse analytics, Python and TypeScript SDKs, public docs, Terraform modules, and more. You'll touch whatever the feature needs. One week you might be writing a new ClickHouse query for cost analytics, the next you're designing an SDK API, the next you're building a new rust worker for faster data processing.
- Talk to users constantly: jump on calls, respond in community channels, and route support requests. At Langfuse, support is how we build conviction about what to build next. Our handbook says it best: support by engineers is a core value proposition.
- Write public documentation about the features you own. At Langfuse, docs are product.
- Ship publicly during Launch Weeks: we've run four Launch Weeks https://langfuse.com/blog/2025-10-29-launch-week-4 so far, dropping a new feature every day for a week. Engineers present the features they built to the community.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Someone who has built features or even entire products from scratch end-to-end
- Experience building and shipping user-facing products end-to-end, ideally in TypeScript/React and with exposure to data-intensive backends
- Someone who can manage projects themselves. You know how to develop strong conviction about what to build and how to ship it.
- Taste for great developer experience: you care about API design, UI details, and clear documentation
- Interest in open source software and genuine excitement about talking to developers about their problems
- Thrives in a small, accountable team where your output is visible and matters
- CS or quantitative degree preferred
Bonus points:
- Experience with ClickHouse, analytics databases, or building complex data visualizations
- Former founder or early startup experience
- Contributions to popular open source projects
- ML/AI background or familiarity with the LLM framework ecosystem
No candidate checks all boxes. If you feel you are a good fit for this role, please go ahead and apply.

WHY BACKEND ENGINEERING AT LANGFUSE
Your work will have an outsized impact.
Langfuse ingests terabytes of AI tracing data per day. When a Fortune 50 company instruments their application with Langfuse, they hit the infrastructure you built. Everything you ship is open source and immediately visible.
The core of your role is making Langfuse fast and affordable at scale: owning the ingestion pipeline, optimizing ClickHouse data models and queries so dashboards load instantly, and building the backend abstractions that let product engineers ship data-heavy features without reinventing the plumbing each time.
You will also make sure Langfuse runs everywhere. You’ll operate Langfuse Cloud across multiple production environments, and make self-hosting effortless. You will support a single Docker Compose setup to enterprise-grade Helm chart deployment.
You won’t be solving these problems alone. Langfuse is now part of ClickHouse, which means the people who built the database you’re optimizing are one channel away. Few backend roles give you that kind of access to the internals of your core datastore.
YOU WILL GROW AT LANGFUSE BY
- Own and optimize our ingestion pipeline: Langfuse ingests massive volumes of tracing data through a pipeline that flows from our API to ClickHouse. You'll work on throughput, latency, reliability, and cost efficiency at every stage of this pipeline.
- Make ClickHouse fast: our tracing data lives in ClickHouse. You'll design schemas, optimize merge strategies, tune batch inserts, write and review analytical queries that power dashboards and the UI. You'll become an expert on ClickHouse internals — and you'll have the ClickHouse database engineering team one channel away.
- Build new infrastructure-heavy features: things like LLM-as-a-Judge (where we post-process large volumes of ingested data asynchronously), alerting at scale, client-code execution, or batch dataset operations. Build the foundation and, if you like, dip your toes into the frontend for those.
- Test with real data in production: when evaluating a new ClickHouse schema, migration, or query optimization, you'll run load tests against production data to validate that changes actually improve things. We don't guess at performance. We prototype new table designs, run them in parallel on real traffic, and compare before committing.
- Scale for what's next: we're growing fast and new product directions like complex long-running agent observability and real-time evaluation push the infrastructure in new ways. You'll be thinking ahead about what breaks at 10x scale.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong backend engineer who gets excited about database internals, query optimization, and distributed systems
- You get excited when working with a ton of data
- Experience with analytical databases, data pipelines, or high-throughput event processing. ClickHouse experience is a big plus but not required
- You organize yourself. You have strong opinions about what to build and how to ship it
- Comfortable reading and writing TypeScript (our backend) and SQL
- Interest in open source software and genuine enjoyment talking to users about their scaling challenges
- Thrives in a small, accountable team where your output is visible and matters
- CS or quantitative degree preferred
Bonus points:
- Experience with ClickHouse, other OLAP databases, or observability infrastructure
- Former founder
- Background in building data-intensive systems at scale
