ABOUT BUFFER
We create social media and brand-building software for small businesses, creators, and individuals. Our mission is to provide essential tools to help small businesses get off the ground and grow. Through exceptional customer service and uplifting content, we help our customers believe they can succeed and do good along the way.
Buffer is a fully distributed team, and we’ve always aimed to do things a little differently. Since the early days, we’ve focused on building one of the most unique and fulfilling workplaces by rethinking a lot of traditional practices. We also default to transparency, so you can read all about our metrics, and our successes and failures along the way on our Transparency Dashboard https://buffer.com/open.
We're united by Buffer's values https://buffer.com/about#values, and we hire and work from all over the world. We strive to create a diverse and inclusive work environment, and we are building a culture where underrepresented groups are welcome and can flourish. Please note that we do travel to work together in person once or twice per year, and those events are highly encouraged to build deeper connections among our small team.
As you get to know Buffer and consider joining the journey, you can learn more about Buffer on our Journey https://buffer.com/journey page. Still curious to learn more about the experience on the Buffer team? Feel free to read more from Kirsti https://buffer.com/resources/first-30-days-buffer/ and Sabreen https://buffer.com/resources/joined-3-days-before-the-retreat/ as they share their first experiences with Buffer, as well as from Hailley https://buffer.com/resources/8-years-at-buffer/, who captured why she still calls Buffer home after 8+ years.
While unusual at Buffer, we're looking for folks in a specific timezone range. This role is currently open to candidates based between UTC-3 and UTC+3. That gives you overlap with our current security engineer in Sri Lanka and most of our Engineering team, and lets the two of you share incident coverage so neither of you has to work through the night.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a hands-on security engineer to be the tech lead for Buffer's Security team. You'll work alongside Adnan https://www.linkedin.com/in/adnanissadeen/, who has carried security at Buffer for years. Together, you’ll own security and compliance for a 15-year-old profitable company that is rebuilding itself around AI.
Two things make this the right moment. Buffer’s product surface is growing: in May, we launched a public GraphQL API with an MCP server and CLI. More than 35,000 organizations have connected an AI tool to Buffer, and we are planning to build a plugin ecosystem on top. Internally, we're becoming an AI-native organization: MCPs on our Claude Team plan, custom connectors, internal tools, and Roo, our own internal agent. We're small and lean, with few processes, and we run on trust around access and permissions. We don't want to lose that, but the surface now grows faster than one person can cover.
That means the usual security playbook won't work here. We don't buy enterprise plans for every tool, and we don't make people justify every access request. You’ll make the secure path the easy path to follow.
Your role will be to set the direction for security at Buffer and to do much of the work yourself. You'll decide which open security problems to address first, write code to fix some of them, and lead incidents when they happen. We're looking for an enabler and a team player, not a gatekeeper. This is a generalist role by design.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll report to Miguel, https://www.linkedin.com/in/migueldavid/ Engineering Manager for the Infrastructure and Security teams.
Day-to-day, the Security team is you, Adnan, and Miguel. Adnan knows how everything at Buffer fits together and where the sharp edges are. Together, you’ll own planned security work as well as the work that keeps the lights on: the security inbox, requests from other teams, maintenance, and chores. You’ll lead the team’s direction and standards.
You will also work closely with product engineering teams to ensure that what we build meets a strong security bar. That means collaborating on tech spec reviews and growing the group of security champions across the teams.
Your peers from our Advocacy (customer support) and People teams will rely on you to support them with security and compliance needs that come up in their work, from customer security questions to vendor reviews and policy.
WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON
- 🧭 Lead security at Buffer. Define the strategy and roadmap, set priorities, drive execution, and change how we work where it matters. If you see a problem outside your lane, say so and drive the fix.
- 🧰 Build. Identify the problem, define the solution, then build it with Adnan: tooling, automation, processes.
- 🔁 Put security in the development loop. Check on every PR, threat modeling in tech specs, dependency, secrets, and supply chain hygiene, and review steps that hold up as more of our code is written with AI agents.
- 🔐 Advance operational security. Secure our day-to-day operations to meet industry-wide standards while maintaining the flexibility afforded by Buffer’s high-trust environment.
- 💡 Keep the lights on. Security inbox, requests from other teams, maintenance and chores, shared with Adnan. Much of this is manual today, and we’d love you to automate what you can.
- 🚨 Lead incidents and take part in our engineering-wide on-call rotation. Set the standard for how we run a security incident, then hold the team to it. Run tabletops with the rest of Engineering, and ensure the gaps are fixed.
- 🤖 Secure the AI surface. Threat-model what we’re building, from agents with tool access to connectors and in-product AI, and set guardrails so Buffer can move fast on AI without guessing.
- 🐛 Run vulnerability disclosure. Triage reports from outside researchers, fix or route the real ones, and decide how the program grows.
- 🤝 Own compliance and customer trust. SOC 2 and Meta platform compliance are the big ones today. We want them to make Buffer safer, not only to pass audits, but also to automate evidence where you can. Security questionnaires reach us through Advocacy. Help answer them, and build what lets customers find answers on their own (a Trust Center, for example).
HELPFUL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- You’ve been the senior security person somewhere without a CISO above you. You know what it means to set direction without a mandate and earn it through work.
- You have hands-on application and API security depth in a multi-tenant SaaS, ideally one with a public API: authorization models, OAuth and OIDC, session and auth flows, IDOR and SSRF, and threat modeling. You've found these bugs and fixed them, not only reported them.
- You write code. You can read and change a TypeScript codebase well enough to ship a fix and review someone else’s (legacy PHP and Python show up more rarely, too).
- You’ve led security incidents end-to-end, including the writing of status updates, customer comms, and postmortems that people act on.
- You’ve worked with AWS, Kubernetes, and Cloudflare, or similar, enough to reason about infrastructure risk with an infrastructure team. You don’t need to run it.
- You’ve run a SOC 2 or similar program, or worked closely with one, and you’d rather automate evidence collection than do it by hand.
- You've run or triaged a vulnerability disclosure or bug bounty program, and you can tell a real report from noise quickly.
- You have strong opinions, and you can hold them loosely. You are comfortable disagreeing with a senior engineer’s design, and working together to find the best solution (sometimes changing your mind when their argument is better).
- You’re fluent with modern AI tools, and you use them to multiply your output and your team’s. You’ve thought hard about securing systems that use them.
- You thrive in remote, async environments, and you follow through. You're clear in your thinking and generous with context, and you close the loop on what you commit to. Most of your influence here will be written.
- Bonus points if you’re already a Buffer user or familiar with social media management tools.
OUR TECH STACK
- Product. Node.js (TypeScript) across most services in a monorepo, backed by MongoDB; a REST API and PHP being retired for legacy services. iOS and Android apps. A public GraphQL API, MCP server, CLI, and connectors.
- Infrastructure. AWS (EKS, IAM, SQS, S3, CloudFront), Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Cloudflare (WAF, Zero Trust, Workers, DNS).
- Security and compliance. Vanta for SOC 2, Dependabot, gitleaks, AWS GuardDuty, Cloudflare WAF and Zero Trust, Action1 for device management, 1Password, and Google Workspace as the identity layer.
- Observability and incidents. Datadog, Sentry, incident.io http://incident.io, and PagerDuty.
- AI. Claude Team across the company, internal agents and MCP servers built in-house, in-product AI features.
APPLY FOR THE JOB
Do you believe you're a fit for this role and want to join the Buffer team? We'd love to hear about you!
Here's what our hiring process looks like:
1. Application. A short form with your CV, LinkedIn, a few yes/no questions, and an example of your writing.
2. Questionnaire. If there’s a match, we’ll email you a short set of questions to learn a bit more about you!
3. Interview process: Meet with several teammates across a few Zoom calls, starting with Miguel https://www.linkedin.com/in/migueldavid/, Engineering Manager for Infrastructure and Security, and the hiring manager for this role, and then a handful of other Buffer teammates and peers.
4. Take-home exercise. During our interview process, we'll ask you to do an asynchronous task so we can see your work in practice and discuss it live.
5. Meet the CEO. Get to know Joel https://www.linkedin.com/in/joelgascoigne/, our Founder CEO.
6. Collaboration period. Two paid days working with the team on a real project, so that we can each see what it's like to work together.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced People Programs Manager to join our Performance & Talent Programs team. This role will own the design and end-to-end execution of some of Anthropic's performance and talent programs producing the year-round performance signal that feeds our talent intelligence layer and upholds our performance bar as we scale. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Performance & Talent Programs, and a great fit for a true builder who has both seen performance management excellence at scale and is excited to roll up their sleeves in a rapidly scaling, high-ambiguity environment. You will also work closely with our internal products team, helping guide product decisions as we build and design the architecture that supports performance.
Key responsibilities
Own end-to-end execution of some of Anthropic's cyclical performance and talent programs (performance pulses, promotions, review cycles, talent reviews, succession planning, etc) and the continuous feedback practices between them
Ensure these programs scale durably and uphold Anthropic's performance bar and talent density as the company grows
Design programs to produce useful performance signal year-round and feed it into the talent intelligence layer to inform talent planning decisions
Partner cross-functionally with People Services on cycle execution, People Analytics on connecting performance data to broader people data and insights, and People Products and engineering on program tooling
Act as the product partner for our internal tools team: bring the needs of managers, employees, and People Partners to the table, help decide what to build and in what order, and shape the architecture so our performance systems connect cleanly and scale
Iterate on program frameworks (calibration, rating constructs, feedback formats, promotion criteria) based on data, manager feedback, and Anthropic's evolving needs
Lead program redesigns and change management, including stakeholder alignment, rollout planning, and communications
Develop and deliver enablement that helps managers and People Partners run each cycle confidently and consistently
Minimum qualifications
Systems thinker who treats programs as performance drivers, caring as much about data quality and downstream usefulness as about cycles landing on time
Demonstrated experience shaping performance tooling (Workday, Lattice, CultureAmp, or homegrown), including time working with an internal tools or engineering team to guide product decisions, and partnering with People Analytics, with comfort getting into the data yourself
Experience building manager enablement that changes behavior, and supporting leaders through performance, promotion, and talent conversations
Strong program management skills and operational rigor, with a track record of running complex multi-month cycles and keeping dozens of stakeholders in sync
Exceptional communicator, particularly in writing, who thrives in ambiguity and evolving scope
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience designing, running, and owning performance management, talent review, or promotion programs, preferably through periods of rapid headcount growth
Experience helping define requirements, priorities, and system design for internal people tools, from early idea through adoption
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:

Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.

We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $169 billion in assets under administration. ABOUT THE ROLE
As Lead, Learning & Employee Experience, you own the experiences that shape how it feels to join, learn and grow at Wealthsimple: our onboarding and learning programs, and the employee events that bring Wealthsimplers together in person and remotely. You design, deliver and run all of it, end to end. This is a hands-on facilitation role reporting to our Senior Lead, Program Manager within People Operations, so you will be in front of a room regularly and often, and you will be exceptional at it. In your first 6–12 months, success looks like new hires getting productive faster, leaders ready to run a team well from their first quarter, and company-wide events that send people back to their teams more connected and clearer on what we’re building and why.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Our Employee Experience team sits within People Operations and owns the experiences that define life at Wealthsimple: new employee onboarding, learning and development, mandatory and compliance training, and the company-wide events that bring us together. We’re a small, high-autonomy team that partners closely with Talent Acquisition, People Systems, Communications, IT, Brand and departmental leaders across the business. We’re in a build-and-scale phase, modernizing how we deliver learning, automating the operational backbone of onboarding, and raising the standard for our employee events and experiences.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own new employee onboarding end to end. Design, deliver and run every cohort, from pre-boarding communications through to the live sessions, and build tailored paths with department leaders. Same for new leader, intern and returning-employee onboarding.
- Facilitate, regularly and often. You will lead live learning and onboarding sessions for groups of ten to sixty-plus, in person and remotely. This is core to the job, not an occasional add-on, so you need to love it and be great at it.
- Design, develop and oversee our key employee events, delivered both in person and remotely and thinking about how these fit together in a cohesive way. You own the plan and the day: experience and agenda design, workback, budgets and vendors, executive briefings, communications, registration and production.
- Build and run our learning programs. Design the curriculum, from leadership foundations to mandatory and compliance training, build it in our learning platform yourself, and own the logistics that keep it running.
- Measure what you build and bring people with you. Create the feedback loops that show whether a program is working, and keep Talent, Communications, IT, Brand and senior leaders aligned so it lands. You ship, learn, and iterate - no program you own is ever delivered the same way twice.
SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years designing, delivering and running onboarding, learning or employee experience programs, owning them end to end rather than executing someone else’s design.
- Demonstrated excellence as a facilitator: you’ve led live sessions regularly for mixed and senior audiences, in person and remotely, and can speak to how you hold a room, adapt in the moment and land the outcome.
- Hands-on experience planning and producing employee events from concept to delivery, covering experience design, budgets, vendors, communications and logistics, with real accountability for the result.
- Instructional design and curriculum-building experience: you can turn a business need into a program people actually learn from, and build it in a learning platform yourself.
- A data-driven approach: you build measurement in from the start and let feedback and metrics decide what changes. You use good judgement when leveraging AI tools to speed up content design, maintenance and program operations.
NICE TO HAVE
- Hands-on experience building in a learning management system (Docebo or similar)
- Experience producing multi-day employee events for 200+ attendees
- Formal instructional design or facilitation training
WHO YOU ARE
- Energized by a room. Facilitating is the part of your week you look forward to, and it shows.
- High agency. You see a gap and close it, and you’d rather ask forgiveness than permission.
- Unflappable on event day. Things go sideways, you solve them quietly, and the room never knows.
- Detail-obsessed about the operational backbone. You know a great experience is logistics done invisibly well.
- A builder, not a maintainer. You’d rather rebuild something properly than keep patching it.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and able to keep momentum without waiting to be told.
- Human first. You genuinely care how it feels to be new, to be learning, or to be led.

What We Do:
Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection.
Huntress now secures more than 6M endpoints and 17M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.

MinIO is the data and memory foundation for enterprise AI. Built for the speed, scale, and economics that AI and analytics demand, AIStor and MemKV unify every layer of the data stack, from agentic and inference context memory to tables and objects across core, edge, and cloud. Trusted by 77% of the Fortune 100, MinIO is redefining how AI factories, intelligent applications, and autonomous agents secure, persist, and unlock the full value of their data.
You'll own marketing for our channel: the resellers, distributors and global systems integrators who take AIStor to customers. Most of your time goes into building and running joint marketing plans with our global focus partners. The rest goes into the programs that keep every partner informed, engaged and ready to sell. This is a builder role. Some of what's below exists today in early form, and some of it doesn't exist yet. You'll have room to shape it.
What You Will Do:
Focus Partner Marketing Plan
Build joint marketing plans with our top 5 focus partners and run them quarter to quarter, with clear pipeline goals for each.
Work side by side with Partner Managers and AEs so every plan lines up with the partner's business plan and our strategic accounts.
Run co-branded campaigns, webinars, content, and account-based programs that create new, partner-sourced pipeline.
Review results with partners every quarter. Double down on what works and cut what doesn't.
Channel Partner Communications
Keep partners current on product news, launches, competitive moments, and company updates through a regular newsletter and to partner webinars.
Help maintain the partner comms calendar so it lines up with our campaign team's priorities and doesn’t overlap communications with demand gen initiatives.
Make sure partners hear about big announcements before or alongside customers, not after.
Channel Partner Field Events
Plan and support partner field events and regional moments globally, from customer roundtables to partner-hosted sessions at larger shows.
Run events through our partner event request process so each one has agreed commitments up front: leads, meetings, co-investment, and follow-up.
Track every event in Salesforce and report pipeline and ROI afterward. Help us stop funding events that don't perform.
Coordinate with our corporate events team so partner presence at major shows is planned.
To-Partner Digital Marketing
Run always-on digital programs aimed at partner sellers, so they know why MinIO wins and remember us when the right deal comes up.
Partner with our digital and campaign teams on targeting, creative, and measurement.
Your Skills and Experience:
10+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 5 in channel or partner marketing at an infrastructure software, storage, data or cloud company
Hands-on experience marketing with and through VARs and distributors. GSI experience is a strong plus.
A track record of building joint marketing plans that produced pipeline you can point to.
Experience running partner field events and managing MDF.
Comfort in Salesforce: campaigns, attribution, and reporting.
The ability to say no: partners and partner managers will ask for a lot, and part of this job is picking what matters.
Clear writing and the confidence to present to partner executives and our own leadership
Willingness to travel.
Experience with a PRM or through-channel marketing platform such as Salesforce PRM, Impartner, Unifyr or ZINFI.
Background in AI infrastructure, data platforms or object storage.
Experience building a partner program from an early stage.
Experience using reporting tools like Omni Analytics.
What We Offer:
Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
401K with 3% Contribution
Pre-IPO Stock Options
At least 12 Public Holidays
Flexible Time Off

About the role
As an Intermediate Backend Engineer, you will take backend features and improvements from clarifying the problem through shipping them and following up in production. You will work within a product area, partnering with Product Management, Frontend, Infrastructure, and Security to deliver predictably and contribute to the quality, security, performance, and maintainability of shared backend code and services. You will be trusted to work with minimal guidance, to know when to seek help, and to communicate clearly in a remote, asynchronous environment — with other tenured engineers alongside you to review your work, think through hard problems with you, and help you grow.
Why you’ll love this role
Ownership:
You'll take features from requirements through delivery and follow-up; your code will run on a platform used by millions of users.
Learning and Growth :
You’ll work alongside your engineering team, who treat code review and design review as a learning loop rather than a gate — one of the fastest ways to grow your engineering judgment.
Innovative Culture:
You’ll use AI as a genuine part of daily engineering work, developing the judgment to know when to trust it and when not to.
Autonomy:
You’ll thrive in our remote-first, asynchronous organization, where clear written communication and self-direction are the pillars of success.
User-Centric Collaboration:
You’ll partner closely with PMs and designers to shape requirements, so you understand why you’re building something, not just what.
What you’ll do
Own and Ship Features:
Design, implement, test, and ship backend features and improvements with minimal guidance, working in Ruby/Rails, Go, or any other modern languages.
Build for Production:
Write maintainable, secure, observable, and performant code. Design and maintain APIs, background jobs, integrations, and bounded service functionality, and work with data models, migrations, indexes, and query behavior.
Test and Review:
Add and improve automated coverage — unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end where appropriate — and review others’ code for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, and operational risk.
Operate What You Build:
Investigate build, test, deployment, and runtime failures at the feature boundary, identify technical debt and propose practical improvements, and take part in on-call or operational support where your team’s ownership model requires it.
Leverage AI:
Use AI productively in daily work, validate what it produces, and understand where its limitations matter.
On Call Support:
Take part in on-call or operational support where your team’s ownership model requires it.
What you’ll bring
Backend Fundamentals:
Professional experience building and shipping production backend applications, with strong programming, API, database, testing, debugging, and performance fundamentals.
Adaptability:
Experience with Ruby/Rails, Go, or any other modern backend language. We value the ability to learn and adapt over mastery of a single language.
Feature Ownership:
The ability to take a feature from clarification through delivery and follow-up, working independently while seeking input at the right time.
Practical Judgment:
Sound instincts about security, reliability, performance, maintainability, and operational risk, plus an understanding of modular backend boundaries and the consequences of coupling.
Clear Communication:
Strong written communication and effective collaboration in a remote, asynchronous environment.
AI Fluency:
Practical experience with AI coding tools, including the ability to review and correct what they generate.
Helpful experience
Production Go services, APIs, concurrency, profiling, or gRPC.
Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, or cloud deployment.
Rust, particularly for systems, security, performance, or platform work.
PostgreSQL, schema evolution, caching, queues, messaging, or event-driven workflows.
Observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
Contributing to a modular monolith, bounded context, shared component, or independently operated service.

Workplace: Hybrid
Perplexity is hiring sellers fast, and every new seller has to learn a fast-moving product line: Enterprise, Comet, Computer and the API. We're looking for a Sales Onboarding Manager to own how new sellers go from their first day to selling on their own. You'll build the program, keep it current, run it, and certify that each seller is ready before they sell independently.
This is a high-ownership, highly visible role on a small Sales Enablement team. You'll partner with the Sales Enablement Lead and work closely with sales leaders, frontline managers, Product, Product Marketing, Solutions and Revenue Operations. Your goal is a robust, relevant, progressive and measurable ramp that gets faster as we scale.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sales Onboarding Manager owns the onboarding experience for Enterprise and Commercial Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs), from Day 1 through field certification. You'll design the curriculum, keep it up to date as the product changes, lead the sessions yourself, manage the logistics of placing each cohort into the right sessions, and run the certifications that decide when a new hire is ready.
Company-wide new-hire orientation is owned by a separate onboarding role. Ongoing training for ramped sellers is owned by Sales Enablement. You'll partner with both so new sellers move smoothly from orientation into their sales ramp and then into working independently with ongoing training from Enablement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the sales onboarding program. Co-design and run role-based ramps for BDRs and for Enterprise and Commercial AEs, including learning objectives, milestones and time-to-productivity targets for each stage. Where BDRs and AEs need the same foundations, they learn them together. Where the jobs differ, each gets its own track.
- Build the BDR ramp. Teach new BDRs prospecting and outbound: ideal customer profile and persona research, account and territory rules, multi-channel sequences, cold calling, cold email, qualification, and clean handoffs to AEs. Get BDRs productive in the prospecting stack, including Salesforce, Apollo and the dialer.
- Build and maintain content. Create and update modules, playbooks, talk tracks, demo guides, knowledge checks and self-paced content. Update materials as products, pricing, positioning and process change, and retire anything out of date.
- Facilitate live sessions. Lead engaging, interactive sessions (virtual and in person) on Perplexity's products, sales process, customer personas, discovery, demos, objection handling and tools. Bring in subject-matter experts from Product, Product Marketing, Solutions and top sellers.
- Run cohort logistics. Work with Recruiting and sales leaders to track incoming hires, assign each one to the right sessions for their role, segment and start date, and manage calendars, attendance, make-ups and pre-work.
- Certify field readiness. Design and run role-specific certifications using clear rubrics. For BDRs, that means cold-call, email and qualification certifications. For AEs, it means pitch, discovery and demo certifications. Both roles also certify on tools. Calibrate scoring with BDR and sales managers, give actionable feedback, and decide when a new hire is ready to sell on their own.
- Partner with frontline managers. Give managers visibility into each new hire's progress, flag risks early, and equip managers to reinforce onboarding through coaching and call reviews.
- Measure and improve. Track completion, certification pass rates and ramp attainment. For BDRs, also track activity, meetings booked and accepted, and pipeline sourced. For AEs, also track time to first meeting, pipeline and closed business. Use the data and new-hire feedback to improve the program each cohort.
- Scale with leverage. Use AI tools, including Perplexity's own products, to build content faster, personalize learning paths and automate repetitive logistics so the program keeps up with hiring.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The best candidates are strong facilitators who also design programs and run operations well. You can command a room, build a curriculum from a blank page, and keep a complicated cohort calendar running smoothly. You hold a high bar for readiness and know how to tell a manager when a seller isn't there yet.
Must-haves
- 2–4 years in sales enablement, sales onboarding or sales training, ideally at a high-growth B2B SaaS or AI company. Experience carrying a quota or managing sellers is a strong plus.
- A track record of designing and running a sales onboarding or ramp program end to end, with measurable impact on ramp time or productivity.
- Excellent live facilitation, virtual and in person, with sellers at different experience levels, from early-career BDRs to seasoned AEs.
- Experience designing and running certifications or skills assessments (such as cold-call, pitch, discovery or demo) using rubrics that sales managers trust.
- Strong program management and operational rigor. You can run several overlapping cohorts, schedules and stakeholders without dropping details.
- Working knowledge of modern sales methods (such as MEDDICC, Command of the Message or similar), outbound prospecting and the full sales cycle from first touch to close.
- Comfort learning technical products quickly and explaining them clearly. You can learn an AI product well enough to teach and demo it.
- Fluency with the sales tech stack, such as Salesforce, a conversation-intelligence tool and an LMS or content-management platform.
- High ownership and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment where the product changes weekly.
Nice to have
- Experience onboarding sellers for AI, developer or other technically complex products.
- Background in instructional design or adult learning.
- Previous experience as a BDR/SDR or as a BDR/SDR manager.
- Experience building onboarding for both Enterprise and Commercial/velocity sales motions, or for Customer Success roles.
- Experience standing up enablement tooling (LMS, content hub, call library) or reporting on ramp metrics.
- Experience using AI to build content or automate enablement operations

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Claude is trained and served on hardware in data centers Anthropic operates and in sites partners build and run for us. DCSE secures that footprint: the sites, the hardware moving through them, and the people and vendors who touch it. You'll be the engineer for one or more security domains end to end: design the controls, build the systems that enforce and verify them, and set the technical standard the rest of the team and our partners build to.
The engineering is in the controls and the tooling that proves them. The goal is security that runs itself: requirements kept as code and checked automatically, evidence, chain of custody and access continuously verified, and tools and agents in place of manual reviews. We favor simple, standard controls and tools that can be verified over elaborate ones. We use Claude throughout our engineering workflow and expect you to as well.
This is a foundational role: you'll shape how our security engineering is built and scaled. The team's physical security systems engineers design and test the site security systems themselves; this role engineers the controls around them and across the domains beyond the facility itself: hardware custody, media, personnel and vendors. You'll work with the rest of DCSE, Anthropic's compute, data center operations, legal, compliance and procurement teams, and directly with data center operators, hardware vendors and logistics providers.
The role involves regular travel to data center sites, which are critical infrastructure, and may include on-call for security events at them.
Key responsibilities
Security domains, end to end:
own one or more of physical security at partner-operated and Anthropic-operated sites, hardware supply chain and chain of custody, media protection and sanitization, personnel security and site access, third-party and vendor security assessment, and maintenance and contingency controls
Tools, automation and AI agents:
build the internal tools, automation and agents the team runs on: evidence collection, access reviews, asset and custody tracking, partner intake. When a process keeps costing people time, you build the tool that retires it
Security review for new sites, leases and vendors:
find the gaps in the design, the contract and the operator's procedures, write the security terms and exhibits, and verify the fixes after signing
Requirements and procedures as code:
write requirements and procedures that a partner can build to and an assessor can test, kept as code in a version-controlled repository
Site and supplier assessment:
assess sites and suppliers against those requirements, on site and from evidence; document deviations and engineer the compensating control where a requirement can't be met as written
Continuous compliance evidence:
tie controls to the compliance frameworks we and our partners are assessed against, with evidence always current so an assessment pulls from it directly
Security event response:
respond to security events at sites (intrusion alarms, custody breaks, access violations) with operations teams and site operators; write up what happened and fix the control that allowed it
Minimum qualifications
Have engineered a security control domain end to end: designed the controls, built or integrated the systems that enforce them, and verified they work
Read and review code, design the data systems behind security tooling, and build automation (often with AI coding agents) using Git and code review
Have done security work hands-on for data centers, critical infrastructure or a large hardware fleet, in at least one of the domains under Key responsibilities
Have applied a control framework such as NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001 or SOC 2 to real systems and produced the evidence for it
Write requirements a third party can build to and an assessor can test: each states what must be true, how it is verified and what evidence shows it
Preferred qualifications
Experience across several of the domains above rather than one
Experience at sites you did not fully control: cloud, colocation or GPU cloud operators
Experience with federal assessment regimes based on NIST SP 800-53, including supply chain (NIST SP 800-161) and media sanitization (NIST SP 800-88) guidance; have produced evidence an assessor accepted
Have built governance, risk and compliance (GRC) or evidence automation: automated control checks, asset or custody tracking, questionnaire and assessment pipelines, docs-as-code workflows
Have run incident response at physical sites: alarms, investigations, after-action fixes
Have worked in live data halls and on active construction sites, and can follow a method of procedure
Experience redlining contract security language with legal and procurement counterparts
Experience with international sites: per-country personnel screening and staffing restrictions, data residency, and export controls on hardware
Have built AI agents or automation that replaced recurring manual security work
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains.

About the role
We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Repository Services team in GitLab's Create stage. The team owns the repository side of Source Code: how code gets into a repository, who may change it, and how those changes are verified. We build this as an access layer on the primitives the Gitaly team provides, for GitLab's own features and for the artificial intelligence agents now writing and pushing code alongside people.
You'll work in one of GitLab's oldest and most complex product areas, using Ruby and GraphQL across
GitLab.com
, self-managed instances, and GitLab Dedicated. Repository Services is a new team, and its first months are about reliability and support, so you'll spend real time on performance and structured query language tuning, caching, rate limiting, testing, observability, and resiliency, with experienced team members to lean on. You'll collaborate with product management, product design, testing, security, user experience research, technical writing, Gitaly, Code Review, and the other Source Code teams.
What you'll do
Develop secure, well-tested, performant features and improvements using Ruby and GraphQL.
Work through complex requirements and legacy constraints to deliver clear solutions while protecting the reliability of this critical system.
Design and maintain backend services, application programming interfaces, data models, and business logic that control how code reaches a repository, who may change it, and how it is verified.
Build on the primitives Gitaly provides and work closely with the Gitaly team.
Triage and fix bugs and support requests for the features the team owns.
Collaborate across functions and teams, both asynchronously and synchronously, and involve domain experts when their input will improve the outcome.
Use artificial intelligence agents for well-scoped work when they can speed up delivery without sacrificing quality, and critically review their output.
Write maintainable code that follows GitLab's standards and contribute to constructive code reviews.
Help strengthen reliability by monitoring production health metrics, participating in Tier 2 on-call, troubleshooting incidents, contributing to root cause analysis, and improving observability and resiliency.
Share knowledge through code review, technical documentation, and everyday collaboration while learning from others.
Take part in on-call or operational support where your team’s ownership model requires it.
What you'll bring
Professional experience building backend web applications, services, or application programming interfaces, with experience using Ruby and GraphQL.
An understanding of relational databases, structured query language, data modeling, caching, background processing, and backend performance practices.
Experience contributing to user-facing workflows and maintaining their underlying systems.
Experience writing backend unit and integration tests, with familiarity with the testing pyramid, Git, and collaborative code review processes.
Experience using artificial intelligence coding agents and reviewing their output, or an interest in building these skills in a complex monorepo.
Clear written and spoken English communication skills, including sharing useful status updates in a remote, asynchronous environment.
The ability to manage assigned priorities, work through ambiguity, take ownership of your work, and seek guidance when needed.
About the team
Repository Services is a small backend team in the Create stage, formed in September 2026 when Source Code split into focused teams. As the split is finalized we expect to own repository mirroring, Git Large File Storage (LFS), protected branches and Branch Rules, push rules, Code Owners (shared with Code Review), and commit and tag signing. We build on Gitaly's primitives and meet regularly with the Gitaly team, and our work serves
GitLab.com
, self-managed instances, and GitLab Dedicated.
