At Huzzle, we connect exceptional talent with top opportunities at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include fast-growing startups, digital agencies, SaaS companies, and tech-enabled businesses across industries such as MarTech, FinTech, EdTech, and eCommerce. Unlike traditional outsourcing agencies, we place you directly with innovative companies where you become a valued member of the team.
Job Summary
This is a rare 0→1 Founding Engineer opportunity to build a financial platform from the ground up within an already established and profitable ecosystem.
We are looking for an exceptionally strong, hands-on engineer with direct fintech experience who has previously built core banking, payments, ledger, cards, or money-movement infrastructure at an established fintech, neobank, or financial technology company.
This is not a management-first position. We need someone who still wants to architect systems, solve difficult technical problems, and write production code. You will work directly with the founders and an existing technical developer, taking significant ownership of the architecture, product, and technical direction.
As the platform scales, you will also have the opportunity to help shape and build the engineering team around you.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and build core financial infrastructure, including accounts, balances, ledgers, transaction state machines, and money-movement systems.
Build KYC/KYB, onboarding, compliance, permissions, limits, and approval workflows.
Design integrations with banking partners, card issuers, payment rails, FX providers, and other financial infrastructure partners.
Develop provider-independent architecture that supports multiple banking and financial providers without vendor lock-in.
Build secure, reliable APIs and financial data models capable of handling reconciliation, event processing, retries, and exception handling.
Own technical problems end-to-end, from architecture and database design through implementation and production deployment.
Work directly with the founders to translate product requirements and business constraints into scalable technical solutions.
Help establish engineering standards, technology choices, and the long-term technical direction of the platform.
Requirements
3–8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack fundamentals.
Direct experience building financial infrastructure within a fintech, neobank, payments company, or similar financial technology environment.
Experience with core banking, payments, ledgers, cards, FX, reconciliation, KYC/KYB, or money movement.

Strong database architecture and data-modeling skills.
Experience with asynchronous workflows, queues, events, retries, idempotency, and transaction processing.
Strong engineering judgment and product instincts, particularly when balancing speed, scalability, reliability, and correctness.
Comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous 0→1 environment and taking significant ownership without requiring extensive direction.
Natural initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
Highly hands-on and excited to continue writing production code rather than moving into a primarily managerial role.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience as a strong individual contributor, early engineer, founding engineer, or technical lead within a high-growth fintech.
Background at companies such as Revolut, Wise, Monzo, N26, Nubank, Brex, Stripe, Plaid, Airwallex, Nium, Razorpay, Adyen, Checkout.com, PayPal, Column, Modern Treasury, or similar.
Deep understanding of financial ledgers, reconciliation, transaction processing, or money-movement architecture.
Experience integrating multiple banking, payment, card, or financial infrastructure providers.

Job Summary
This is a rare 0→1 opportunity to build a high-scale financial platform from the ground up within a profitable, established ecosystem. While most fintechs spend years struggling to find customers, this team already has massive distribution at the point of company formation. We are looking for a hands-on Founding Engineer to bridge the gap between company incorporation and global financial operations by building a neobank-style platform that handles everything from KYC and multi-currency accounts to complex money movement and card issuing. You will own the architecture and technical direction of a product that helps international founders launch and scale their businesses globally.
Key Responsibilities

Highly hands-on approach with a desire to write production code daily in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
Nice-to-Haves
Direct experience in fintech, neobanking, or payments (specifically ledgers, reconciliation, or money movement).
Background at high-growth financial technology companies such as Stripe, Adyen, Airwallex, Brex, or similar infrastructure providers.
Familiarity with the regulatory nuances of KYC/KYB and international banking infrastructure.

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
About the role
You own the company's identity provider: who signs in, from where, with which factors, into which applications — and how that access is granted, reviewed, and revoked.
Microsoft Entra ID is the primary identity plane and the center of gravity for the role. Google Workspace, Cloud Identity, and Google Cloud IAM form a secondary domain. Microsoft 365 is in scope for tenant, licensing, and access administration.
You are the escalation point for identity incidents from operations, security, service desk, and application teams — expected to resolve them, not route them onward.
What you'll own
Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365
– Users, dynamic and assigned groups, administrative units, directory roles, service principals, workload identities.
– Conditional Access design and rollout: named locations, client app and platform conditions, session controls, sign-in frequency, break-glass exclusions, report-only staging.
– Authentication methods policy and phishing-resistant factors.
– Application onboarding over SAML 2.0 (NameID, claims mapping, signing certificate rollover, encrypted assertions) and OIDC / OAuth 2.0 (authorization code with PKCE, client credentials, device code).
– App registrations: redirect URIs, permissions, admin consent workflow, secret and certificate lifecycle.
– SCIM 2.0 provisioning: attribute mappings, scoping filters, expression transformations, quarantined jobs, drift reconciliation.
– Tenant consent settings, OAuth grant review, remediation of over-permissioned and stale applications; defensible controls for SaaS without SSO or SCIM support.
– Joiner-mover-leaver as an automated pipeline: provisioning, group-based licensing, revocation with session and refresh token invalidation.
– Least privilege for admin access: scoped role assignments, RBAC, PIM, access reviews, entitlement management access packages.
– Service account and workload identity governance: ownership, credential rotation, permission scoping, decommissioning.
– Microsoft 365 tenant settings, licensing, admin roles; access and permission issues in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Power Platform.
– Diagnostics from sign-in, audit, and provisioning logs, with diagnostic settings routed to Log Analytics and KQL queries.
– Cross-tenant access settings and B2B external collaboration.
Automation
– PowerShell tooling on the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK and Graph REST API: lifecycle, licensing, access reporting, recertification.
– Google-side automation through the Admin SDK Directory API, Cloud Identity API, and gcloud.
– Scheduled and event-driven workflows in Azure Automation Runbooks, Azure Logic Apps, or Power Automate.
– Unattended execution on managed identities and narrowly scoped app registrations, with credential rotation, structured logging, error handling, and retries.
– Automation treated as production code: version control, peer review, documented rollback.
What you'll bring
We care about what you can do, not which products appear on your CV. Concretely, you can:
– Decode a SAML assertion or JWT and pinpoint the failure — audience mismatch, NameID format, expired signing certificate, missing claim — without escalating to the vendor.
– Diagnose a failing SCIM job and tell scoping from attribute mapping, transformation expressions, or target schema.
– Replace a manual lifecycle process with automation that logs, retries, and can be handed to someone else to run.
Experience we expect
– 3+ years administering Microsoft Entra ID in production as a primary responsibility.
– Microsoft 365 tenant: settings, licensing, admin roles, Service Health
– Exchange Online: mailbox permissions, groups, mail flow, SPF/DKIM/DMARC
– Microsoft Defender: threat policies, quarantine, message trace
– Power Platform: environments, DLP connector policies, maker access
– PowerShell: Exchange Online module, Microsoft Graph SDK
– Enterprise applications, app registrations, consent and permission models, automated provisioning.
– Azure Automation Runbooks, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, or comparable platforms.
– Least privilege, secure administration, change management, and the discipline to leave configurations documented.
– Written and spoken English at B2 or higher.
Nice to haves
– SC-300, MS-102, or SC-401 — or equivalent demonstrable expertise.
– Microsoft Entra ID Governance: entitlement management, lifecycle workflows, Privileged Identity Management.
– Microsoft Purview (DLP, retention, eDiscovery), Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, or Microsoft Sentinel.
– Google Cloud IAM: projects, roles and policies, service accounts, API access, OAuth credentials.
– Google Cloud workload identity federation, custom roles, organization policy constraints.
– Git, CI/CD practices, Pester, Bicep, or Terraform.
– Access evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001, or comparable audit cycles.

We're hiring a Junior Trader to join our trading team. You'll work directly with senior traders across strategies on centralized and decentralized venues, and take on your own responsibilities quickly.
We don't require prior DeFi experience. We do require that you're quantitative, technical, and able to move fast without breaking things.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Execute and manage trades across centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) venues — order books, AMM pools, and concentrated liquidity positions.
- Monitor positions, inventory, and P&L in real time. Identify risks early and act on them.
- Build and improve the tooling the desk runs on: position trackers, reporting dashboards, hedging workflows, reconciliation.
- Analyze market and execution data to answer questions that matter — where slippage comes from, which pools are actually profitable, how our fill quality compares to the market.
- Develop real depth in market structure and protocol mechanics (AMMs, PMMs, lending protocols) and bring it back to the desk.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 0–3 years of experience — recent graduates with strong technical credentials, or candidates from quant research, engineering, data, or markets-adjacent roles looking to move onto a trading desk.
- Strong quantitative foundation: probability, statistics, and the instinct to reach for data before opinions.
- Python preferred, ideally applied to financial modeling or data analysis (pandas, notebooks, working with messy datasets). Adjacent tooling — R, MATLAB, SQL, serious Excel modeling — counts.
- Real interest in crypto and DeFi. Professional crypto experience isn't required; demonstrated engagement with the space is.
- Sound judgment under pressure. Markets move at 3am and things break. We need someone who stays composed, thinks clearly, and escalates early.
- Precise communicator
- Self-directed and adaptable; comfortable operating with autonomy across time zones in a remote-first environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Personal trading, market-making, or on-chain activity of any kind — a portfolio, a bot, an arbitrage script, a Dune dashboard.
- Familiarity with Solana tooling (Jupiter, Orca, Drift) or EVM DeFi (Uniswap, Aave, Curve).
- Exposure to algorithmic or systematic trading.
- Machine learning or large-scale data analysis (regression, tree-based methods, classification).
- Internships or prior work at a trading firm, market maker, exchange, or protocol.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- Direct mentorship from traders running real capital — you'll learn by working alongside them, not from a curriculum.
- Responsibility as fast as you can earn it, with clear feedback on where you stand.
- Exposure across the full stack of a trading operation: execution, risk, tooling, counterparty relationships, and market structure.
- A front-row seat as equities, commodities, and crypto converge on-chain.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
Mistral is looking for AI Scientists with deep expertise in engineering sciences and machine learning to push the frontier of AI-accelerated simulation. Within AI4Engineering Science, you will research and train foundational physics models which are substantially more capable than what exists today and can be fine-tuned for downstream applications by both customers and internal teams.
You will work across the full research stack: curating high-fidelity simulation datasets, designing and training novel model architectures, and rigorously evaluating them against real engineering validation standards.
Working closely with the broader research organization, you'll ensure the foundation models you build are general enough to become the backbone of many downstream products, not just a single point solution.
This role builds on a strong, world-class foundation, and the goal is to take it further. You'll work one vertical at a time toward foundation models that genuinely transfer and fine-tune across engineering tasks, with high-quality simulation data pipelines, physics-based evaluation, and uncertainty / out-of-distribution estimation as first-class concerns. There's no inherited playbook for most of what's left to do: you'll help define the architectures, training strategies, and validation standards the team builds on, not just extend an existing one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Research and train novel foundation models for physics simulation, pushing past today's state of the art in accuracy, generalization, and scale
- Design and run large-scale simulation campaigns using domain-specific solvers to build the high-fidelity datasets foundational physics models need
- Investigate architectures and training strategies (e.g. multi-fidelity training, pretraining objectives, scaling behavior) that let a single foundation model transfer and fine-tune well across diverse engineering tasks
- Rigorously evaluate model coverage, accuracy, and robustness against industry validation standards, and diagnose failure modes arising from data gaps or architecture limitations
- Stay on top of the latest developments in the scientific community and contribute to Mistral's standing at the frontier of AI-for-engineering research
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- PhD or Master's in CS/AI or an engineering science: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Structural Mechanics, EDA, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field
- Strong, hands-on machine learning expertise with a deep understanding of model architectures, training dynamics, and evaluation methodology is core to this role
- You have developed ML methods for simulation or surrogate modelling
- You write clean, readable Python code and are comfortable in Linux/HPC environments
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills, able to explain technical simulation and ML concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences
- Self-directed, you don't need detailed roadmaps to make progress
- Low-ego, collaborative, and eager to learn at the intersection of simulation and ML
- Demonstrated success through industrial projects, academic work, or personal projects
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU
- Have industrial or academic experience with simulation solvers (e.g. OpenFOAM, LS-DYNA, ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, Fluent, STAR-CCM+, PowerFlow, NekRS, Tau/CODA, JAX-Fluids, or equivalent; Cadence/Synopsys/Siemens EDA or equivalent)
- Have experience automating large-scale simulation campaigns on HPC clusters
- Have contributed to a large open-source or industry codebase
- Have publications in engineering or ML venues (AIAA, ASME, JFM, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.)
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

THE TEAM
You will join the AI4Engineering Science team, the Mistral research group that builds the data and evaluation infrastructure and owns the SFT/RL processes for AI4Engineering that teach our frontier LLMs to do real engineering work. The agentic engineering group works alongside the Physics AI research in the wider Science organisation.
This seat sits in the agentic CAD stream. Together with the Solutions and Applied teams, the group carries this work into customer projects with industrial partners in automotive, aerospace, semiconductors, and beyond.
THE ROLE
Mistral is looking for an AI Scientist with deep machine learning expertise and hands-on CAD experience to expand what our agentic tools can do for computer-aided design. Your focus is a single mission: teaching Mistral's LLMs to generate, analyze, and modify CAD designs the way an expert design engineer would.
Your core work is building the pre- and post-training data for Mistral's LLMs to reason about and execute real CAD tasks: text-to-CAD and image-to-CAD generation from technical drawings, geometric analysis and QA of CAD parts, and modification of existing designs. Because Mistral trains its own frontier LLMs, the data and verifiers you design ship directly into models you can hold - a rare position, and the core of the job.
Alongside this, you will help shape the agent architectures and harnesses that let these models operate reliably inside multi-step CAD workflows, driving CAD tools through APIs or computer use across the whole design loop.
This is early-stage work, and that's the point: you are joining at the foundation, shaping the data, verifiers, and agent scaffolding that decide whether these systems become reliable or stay demo-grade. There is no inherited playbook; you will help define what good looks like, and your work will set the direction the CAD stream builds on rather than extend an existing one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design pretraining, SFT, and RL data for CAD tasks: text-to-CAD and image-to-CAD generation from technical drawings, geometric analysis and QA of CAD parts, and design modification
- Define verifiers and evaluation criteria that capture what "correct" and "high-quality" actually mean for CAD tasks
- Scale the data pipelines that produce agentic CAD training traces
- Design and improve agent architectures and harnesses: how models plan, call CAD tools via API or computer use, recover from errors, and chain steps together across long-horizon design workflows
- Build and maintain CAD evaluation benchmarks and diagnostic tooling, from parametric CAD and drawing-to-3D benchmarks to industrial evaluations, identifying where models fail and tracing those failures back to gaps in data, reward design, or agent scaffolding
- Collaborate with CAD domain experts and the CAE and EDA streams (and the science and solutions teams more broadly) to identify which CAD workflows are highest-value to target next
- Contribute to Mistral's broader pre- and post-training research, sharing findings and methodology across the science organization
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Deep, hands-on machine learning expertise, particularly LLM development: you have built LLM training pipelines (SFT, RL, fine-tuning, GRPO), demonstrated in publications or shipped systems rather than CV claims
- Demonstrated hands-on CAD experience: you have designed, scripted, or automated real CAD workflows in tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, FreeCAD, or CADQuery, ideally with CAD-kernel grounding (OpenCASCADE, build123d)
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills: you can explain technical ML and CAD concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences
- You write clean, readable Python code and are comfortable in Linux/HPC environments
- Self-directed: you do not need detailed roadmaps to make progress
- Low-ego, collaborative, and eager to learn at the intersection of CAD and ML
It would be great if you:
- Have experience building or fine-tuning agentic systems (tool use, multi-step planning, agent orchestration frameworks)
- Have experience with reward modeling, RLHF/RLAIF/RLVR, or preference-based training
- Have first-author publications or open-source benchmark work in agentic CAD or CAD-ML, such as CAD generation benchmarks or RL/GRPO fine-tuning of vision-language models for CAD
- Have contributed to a large open-source or industry codebase
- Have publications in engineering and ML venues (NeurIPS, ICLR, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, JFM, AIAA, etc.)

ROLE SUMMARY
As a Research Engineer on Forge, you will turn real customer requirements into reliable training and deployment workflows. You’ll work end‑to‑end across model adaptation and post‑training (CPT/SFT/RL/distillation), evaluation, data, and infrastructure. The role bridges research experimentation and production constraints.
This role sits in Applied Science, with direct impact on client outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, product, and customer‑facing teams to ensure Forge projects ship, are maintainable, and can be trusted by others.
Interview focus can vary (algorithms, infrastructure, evals, or data). You don’t need to match every bullet below to apply.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and improve post‑training and evaluation workflows (CPT/SFT/RL/distillation), turning prototypes into repeatable Forge “recipes”.
- Develop tools and pipelines for synthetic data generation, data curation, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Debug and harden large‑scale ML systems: distributed training, scheduling/execution, checkpointing, observability, and reproducibility.
- Improve the Forge codebase via clear APIs, tests, documentation, and maintainable abstractions.
- Push the frontier of our RL training stack (e.g., high-throughput async rollout and scalable post‑training systems at frontier-model scale)
- Make sure Forge deployment is seamless and adaptable to a diversity of clients (hardware access, software stack, cloud and on-premises, …)
- Partner with researchers and infrastructure engineers to translate bottlenecks into concrete system improvements.
ABOUT YOU
- Strong Python engineering skills and experience working in large codebases (testing, code review, CI, operational ownership).
- Hands‑on experience with PyTorch, JAX, or similar.
- Strong systems and infrastructure fundamentals.
- Experience with LLM training or post‑training: fine‑tuning, RL, distillation, evaluation, and/or data pipelines.
- Excellent debugging skills in ambiguous systems (distributed jobs, data issues, quality regressions, infra failures).
- Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- High agency, low ego, and comfort in fast‑moving, under‑specified environments.
NICE TO HAVE
- Distributed training experience (FSDP, DeepSpeed, Megatron, etc.).
- Cluster/orchestration experience (SLURM, Ray, Kubernetes, Kueue, Karpenter, Skypilot, etc.).
- Experience building reliable ML infrastructure, evaluation systems, or large‑scale data processing pipelines.
- Research experience in LLMs, agents, multimodal models, reasoning, code, or domain adaptation.
- Open‑source contributions, publications, or widely used internal tooling.
- Experience training multi‑billion‑parameter models (pre‑training or RL). Experience training on petabyte- and exabyte-scale datasets.
- Ability to identify bottlenecks across the stack and drive improvements from first principles.
