Our client is a fast-growing FMCG coffee business with products sold across more than 45 markets worldwide, including a growing footprint in Saudi Arabia. The company is now investing in Saudi Arabia and is building out the team and route-to-market for both its B2C and B2B coffee business in the region.
Our client is looking for a senior, well-connected coffee and FMCG sales professional to lead the development of its Saudi Arabian market, with primary focus on B2C and additional support on B2B activity. This is a hands-on, market-building role for someone who can advise the company on how to enter and grow in Saudi Arabia and the wider region – including identifying and securing the right distributors – and who is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a market where the company does not yet have a local office.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the company’s B2C coffee business across Saudi Arabia.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard key distributors and channel partners in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
• Provide hands-on advisory support to the company leadership on market entry, route-to-market and commercial structure for the region.
• Support and contribute to B2B sales activity alongside the core B2C focus.
• Build and manage relationships with retailers, distributors and trade partners across the coffee and broader FMCG landscape.
• Travel periodically to engage with the company’s existing business and sales teams, share market learnings and help guide the development of the Saudi Arabia business.
• Act as a trusted, on-the-ground advisor as the company scales its presence in the region, with the expectation of building and managing a team as the business grows.
Requirements
• At least 10 years of experience in the coffee industry and/or broader FMCG sales and marketing, with strong B2C focus.
• Deep, well-established network within the coffee industry in Saudi Arabia – able to advise on key distributors and the right way to enter the market.
• Proven sales and relationship-building track record; able to open doors and close deals.
• Previous experience managing a team is preferred, given this role is expected to grow into a people-management position.
• Comfortable working independently/remotely without a local office infrastructure, while staying connected to a small regional team.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Honest, hard-working, relationship-driven, and willing to travel as needed.
• Local Saudi Arabian candidates strongly preferred but not essential.
• No specific educational background required – industry experience and network matter most.

From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We're building the next chapter of AI-native craft and creativity - where craft and technology meet. Our unified platform bridges the gap between AI capabilities and human creativity, and lets professional creatives and designers harness the power of the world’s leading AI models without losing precision, expression, or soul. Together, we’re building tools that help people move faster without sacrificing quality, precision, or craft — a platform where AI supports creativity instead of flattening it.
As one of our founding Technical Quality Specialists on the Product Support team for Figma Weave, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to help define, build, and elevate this new support function. This team will be responsible for troubleshooting complex bugs and working closely with our internal teams to elevate the Figma Weave experience for all of our customers. You will be delivering the kind of experiences that build trust throughout the Figma community, from customers to key internal partners, such as Product and Engineering.
We are looking for a Technical Quality Specialist who is an advocate for quality improvements that enable great end-to-end experiences for the people and businesses using Figma Weave. An ideal candidate will have a background with strong testing experience, be comfortable collaborating when priorities move quickly and the path forward is often ambiguous, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and a passion for quality.
This is a full time hybrid role based out of our Singapore hub.
What you’ll do at Figma Weave:
Develop expertise in Figma Weave’s products and the journey of our customers—from Product Designers to Developers—to accurately diagnose sophisticated bugs
Interact with Figma Weave customers daily via email and the forum, taking ownership over complex problems
Troubleshoot complex customer inquiries to identify root causes, effectively communicate, and report bugs to our Engineering teams
Serve as the designated point of contact for critical technical issues raised by customers and internal teams, proactively engaging partners like Engineering and Product, and owning customer communication through to resolution
Make recommendations for tooling and process improvements that help the team better manage and diagnose bugs within Figma Weave
Work with the Product Support Learning and Performance team as a subject matter expert to develop documentation and training materials for future Technical Quality Specialists
Act as the voice of the customer by identifying trends and communicating insights to partners across Product and Engineering to advocate for bug fixes, process improvements, and feature enhancements to Figma Weave
Keep the broader Product Support team up to date on current high-priority bugs and fixes that have been implemented in Figma Weave
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
2+ years of experience working in a QA or Support environment for a technical SaaS product
Troubleshooting and debugging experience across multiple platforms
Consultative communication skills with the ability to tailor a message for your audience - translating complex technical concepts into concise explanations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Resilience and adaptability—you’re motivated by experimenting, building, and working across teams, and are confident navigating times of change and ambiguity
Japanese a plus, but not essential

About the role
More and more PlanetScale databases are created, connected and queried by AI agents. Cursor, Claude Code, Codex and a growing list of other tools now sit between developers and their infrastructure.
You will own that experience end to end. You'll make sure PlanetScale shows up everywhere developers build with AI, that our MCP server and CLI work flawlessly in every agent, and that we can measure how well it all works. Then you'll show the world how to do it well through demos, docs, blog posts, videos, and conferences.
