WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Solutions Consultant Manager is the person who makes our GTM motion real on the ground. As an in-region leader directly managing a team of Solutions Consultants, you'll own your team's full commercial output—new logo, expansion, and renewals—and be accountable for both the results and the quality of execution that produces them.
This isn't a traditional pipeline-management role. The best SC Managers are coaches first: they know what a great first meeting looks like, can watch a live build and tell a rep exactly what to change, and build the operating rhythm and inspection cadence that makes consistent execution possible across the team. If you're a builder who loves developing people as much as winning deals—and you want to lead a regional team in a go-to-market model that's genuinely new—this is the role.
This role will be based in Munich, Germany. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the commercial performance of your team across new logo ARR, expansion ARR, and UBP outcomes—accountable for both the headline numbers and the quality of execution that drives them
- Coach SCs on the GTM builder motion: what great looks like in a first meeting (workflow diagnosis, current → future architecture), a second meeting (live build in Notion + value narrative), and through the full cycle to adoption hand-off
- Contribute to and participate in the regional operating cadence: weekly pipeline reviews, deal support sessions, call reviews against the motion quality rubric, and forecast calls with senior leadership
- Hire, onboard, and certify new SCs to the GTM builder motion—driving readiness from ramp through consistent execution, and managing performance with clarity when expectations aren't met
- Partner with the regional BDR manager on pipeline strategy, outbound targeting, and qualification standards to ensure the team's book of business is healthy and growing
- Partner with Outcomes leadership on adoption hand-offs, at-risk account management, and renewal strategy—owning the overall commercial arc for the region while collaborating on the execution that follows close
- Represent your team or region in leadership forums with clear signal on what's working, what needs investment, and where execution is breaking down
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Track record as a quota-carrying B2B seller with direct experience in workflow design, live demos, or technical sales—you can coach the builder motion because you've run it yourself
- Frontline sales management experience: built an operating cadence, ran performance management, and developed talent from onboarding through consistent overperformance
- Strong coaching orientation: you can watch a demo or deal review and identify specifically what to change—not just whether the outcome was good, but why, and what the rep should do differently next time
- Commercial instincts at the team level: able to read pipeline health, identify risk early, and drive urgency across a team without micromanaging individual deals
- You don't need to be an AI expert, but you're curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
- Fluency in English and German.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience selling or managing in a consumption or usage-based business where adoption signals matter as much as closed ARR
- Track record building high-performing regional teams from an early stage: hiring to profile, structured onboarding, certification, and performance management
- Experience in a shared account ownership model—able to navigate the SC/CSA hand-offs and hold the commercial arc across the full customer lifecycle
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. The estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is €270,000 - €325,000 per year.

Join the team as our next Software Engineer on Twilio’s platform engineering observability team.
About the job
This position is needed to help our platform engineering observability team. Twilio is undergoing a large-scale observability transformation—and you can help shape the foundation. Observability is a strategic pillar and a key enabler for faster incident response, deeper customer-centric insights, and more cost-effective platform operations.
As a Software Engineer on the Platform Observability team, you’ll play a critical role in re-architecting how telemetry flows and is utilized through Twilio—making it structured, accessible, affordable, and actionable. Over the next 3 years, Twilio is rebuilding nearly every component of our observability platform, from data collection to real-time analytics. You will drive core initiatives that shift Twilio from fragmented tooling and wasteful data sprawl to a unified, OpenTelemetry-first observability stack built for scale.
You’ll lead technically and strategically—designing platform components, influencing org-wide architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and engaging directly with teams across Platform Engineering and R&D
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:

Drive consistency and quality across all observability signals—logs, metrics, traces, and continuous profiling—building intuitive workflows for engineers.
Serve as a technical advisor and mentor across the platform org, guiding design decisions and aligning cross-team efforts with long-term architectural goals.
Go deep in one or more problem areas (e.g., high-cardinality telemetry, distributed tracing correlation, compute cost insights), while ensuring the platform scales horizontally.
Collaborate with product teams, SREs, and developer experience groups to deeply understand telemetry needs and integrate observability into core engineering workflows.
Design and build developer-friendly tooling and APIs to support incident response, performance analysis, and platform debugging at scale.
Leverage (and optionally contribute to) open-source standards like OpenTelemetry to ensure interoperability and extensibility.
Champion a pragmatic approach to observability—balancing performance, cost, and user value across diverse engineering teams.
Qualifications
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!
*Required:
Proven expertise in building and scaling observability systems (e.g., logging platforms, metrics pipelines, tracing infrastructure, or profiling tools).
Lead technical execution for major components of Twilio’s observability overhaul, including our shift to centralized S3-based data lakes, OpenTelemetry instrumentation, and ClickHouse-backed query engines.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java).
Familiarity with high-cardinality data challenges and telemetry correlation techniques.
Experience designing high-scale telemetry systems (e.g., Prometheus, ClickHouse, OpenTelemetry, Kafka, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of distributed systems and the challenges of observability in complex, microservice-based environments.
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Provide architectural guidance and thought leadership across teams, helping to establish clear telemetry standards, efficient usage patterns, and scalable platform abstractions.
Ability to make forward-looking technical decisions and lead others through ambiguity and chan

define the customer problem, identify priority segments, and shape the value proposition, market sequencing, channel approach, and commercial roadmap.

Own the full GTM lifecycle -
connect commercial strategy to launch planning, customer activation, market readiness, adoption, retention, learning, and continuous optimization.

build dashboards, decision-ready reporting, and review rhythms that turn data into recommendations, owners, and measurable performance improvements.
Lead cross-functional orchestration and change -

5+ years of experience in management consulting, commercial strategy, e-commerce, digital commerce, growth, product, or Go-To-Market; experience supporting transactional e-commerce, digital storefronts, Direct-to-Consumer, technology, games, or entertainment is strongly preferred.

Strong hands-on analytical capability including working with SQL, Tableau or similar BI tools, spreadsheets, KPI modelling, segmentation, funnel diagnostics, and AI-enabled analytical tools to generate actionable insights.
Structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving with the ability to bring clarity to complexity, test assumptions, and make practical recommendations from incomplete information.

About the Role
Looking to join a world-class blockchain development team? Ava Labs makes it simple to deploy high-performance solutions for Web3, led by innovations on Avalanche. The company was founded by Cornell computer scientists, who partnered with Wall Street veterans and early Web3 leaders to execute a promising vision for redefining the way people build permissionless networks. Ava Labs is redefining the way people create value with Web3. Join us as we empower people to easily and freely digitize all the world’s assets on one open, programmable blockchain platform. We are looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Platform Engineering Group. This team is responsible for maintaining and advancing the Avalanche blockchain and its ecosystem.
Ava Labs is hiring a Staff Engineer into the Platform Engineering Group to serve as a full-time maintainer of AvalancheGo and the technical anchor for the node domain: consensus, peer-to-peer networking, state sync, the VM plugin interface, and the node's integration with the C-Chain EVM (coreth and libevm). This is a hands-on role that requires an Architect/Solver build, with tech lead responsibilities during coordinated network upgrades. You will own the health of the codebase, set the technical direction of the domain across the teams that build on it, and multiply the effectiveness of the engineers around you.
What You Will Do
- Own AvalancheGo as its maintainer: Maintain and advance the software powering the Avalanche network, as well as its environments. Manage contributions from both the team and the community in a fair, effective, and thoughtful manner. You hold the merge bar for network-critical code; assess contributions from the team and the community fairly and quickly, and steward backwards compatibility for the node operators and Avalanche L1 builders downstream of every release. Your review will be the last gate before code reaches every validator.
- Set and enforce engineering standards. Define what production quality means for the team.
- Design, build, and advance Avalanche’s critical systems. You’ll be contributing directly to the critical systems in the Avalanche network: consensus, networking (P2P), state management and sync, the VM interface, and performance of both the network nodes and their EVM integrations.
- Champion reliability and production readiness. Establish observability standards (structured logging, metrics, tracing, profiling), define SLOs for node performance, and lead incident review and postmortem culture for network incidents.
- Raise and define release quality. Own the engineering lifecycle for network-critical code: versioning and upgrade coordination, backward compatibility, staged rollouts across test networks, and hard test quality metrics (unit, property, fuzz, race-detection, and end-to-end network tests) before anything ships.
- Mentorship. Mentor senior engineers into larger scope, run design reviews that measurably change outcomes, and spread your context deliberately so the team can onboard, operate, and extend the node without you.Turn a team of individual contributors into a team with shared standards, shared context, and a high quality ceiling. Becoming a single point of failure is a failure mode of this role, and you will be expected to resist it.
- Evangelize the project within the org: Write ADRs, release notes, and technical communications; engage external contributors; and model what a great open source citizen looks like.
- Drive protocol direction through the ACP process. You originate and champion Avalanche Community Proposals, represent the node's constraints in protocol design conversations, and position AvalancheGo for upgrades before they activate on Fuji and Mainnet. Your bets play out over 6 to 18 months.
What Makes You a Good Fit
- A self-starter with insatiable curiosity combined with being comfortable diving into someone else’s code to understand how it works. You treat the code as the source of truth and are able to discern nuances from there.
- Meticulous attention to detail and an appreciation for clean, maintainable code. You create software as much for the end user as for the love of the craft.
- You believe in growing a culture of excellence. As a Staff Engineer you will set the definition for development standards among your team, as well as cultivating the quality you want to see in the developers you work with.
- You understand what makes a great open source project great. Not just in terms of code quality, but in terms of its ecosystem, its community, and its contributors
- You have operated at Staff scope before, irrespective of whatever your title said. You can point to a workstream you created rather than inherited, one that other teams came to depend on, and to the case you built to get it funded.
- You influence without authority. You have driven technical direction across teams that did not report to you, through alignment and credibility rather than escalation, and engineers from those teams would vouch for it.
- You treat the code as the source of truth. You are comfortable diving into a large unfamiliar codebase, discerning its nuances from the source, and making impactful contributions within weeks.
- You know what makes a great open source project great: the code quality, and equally the review culture, the contributor experience, and the trust of the ecosystem that depends on it. You have been on the maintainer side of that relationship.
- You hold a high bar and make it stick. You have set standards that other engineers actually follow, pushed back when work below the bar tried to land, and done it in a way that made people want to work with you rather than around you.
- You still do the unglamorous work visibly. Reviews, on-call, migrations, and documentation remain part of the job at this level, and you treat them as the job rather than a distraction from it.
This Role Is Not for You If
- You want to write smart contracts or build dapps. This is node and protocol engineering, several layers down.
- You want a purely advisory position.
- You consider reviews, on-call, migrations, and documentation to be beneath the level. They remain part of the job, done visibly.
- You are uncomfortable working in public. Your code, your reviews, your design docs, and occasionally your mistakes will be visible to the entire ecosystem.
What You Will Bring
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years operating at a staff/lead level (or clearly performing at that scope), with a track record of raising team-wide engineering quality.
- Expert-level Go: deep fluency with the concurrency model (goroutines, channels, the race detector), profiling and performance tuning (pprof, benchmarks), module and dependency management, and idiomatic API design in large codebases.
- Significant open source experience - maintainer or sustained core contributor on a widely used project, with a public record of reviews, RFCs/design docs, and community engagement (a GitHub profile we can read is worth more than any bullet on a resume).
- Proven production experience designing, shipping, and operating distributed systems at scale: consensus or replication, P2P networking, state synchronization, or comparable high-availability systems.
- Strong testing discipline across the pyramid: unit, property-based/fuzz, integration, and end-to-end network testing, plus experience building CI that enforces it (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Experience with release engineering for software users self-host and cannot be force-upgraded: semantic versioning, backward compatibility, migration paths, and coordinated network upgrades.
- Working fluency with Linux-based infrastructure, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana or equivalent).
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
(**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)

Location: Espoo
Workplace: Hybrid
- Senior Backend Software Engineer (Tactical Access)
- Business Automation - Engineering
- Location: Espoo, Finland
- Reports to: Engineering Lead of Tactical Access squad
- Contract type: Permanent
- Hybrid, 3 days per week in the Espoo office
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO)
THE MISSION OF THE SENIOR BACKEND SOFTWARE ENGINEER
You will own the backend systems that let customers plan and manage satellite tasking through Tactical Access, ICEYE's tactical customer access product.
Tactical Access is customer-facing on two fronts, API and web, so this role sits at the intersection of backend engineering rigor and product ownership. You will design and operate the services and data models that power satellite tasking for real customers, and you will be trusted to make API design and reliability decisions that customers depend on directly, not just internal consumers.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE's world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy, day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.
As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE's near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring (including oil-spill detection), and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.
ICEYE operates internationally with offices in Finland, Poland, Spain, Japan, the UAE, Greece, and the US. The company has more than 900 employees, inspired by the shared vision of improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES & REQUIREMENTS
Outcomes
- Own end-to-end delivery of at least one significant Tactical Access backend capability, from API design through production operation, with documented tradeoffs
- Reduce production risk in owned services through improved observability (metrics, traces, alerting) and demonstrated root-cause fixes, not just symptom patches
- Ship API changes that account for client/customer impact (versioning, backwards compatibility) with no unplanned breaking changes to integrators
- Collaborate directly with product managers, customers, and other engineering teams to turn business needs into the right technical tradeoffs
- Contribute full-stack when end-to-end delivery requires it, without backend ownership slipping as a result
- Actively raise the engineering bar in code review and architecture discussions for the team, not just their own PRs
Role-specific Competences
- Production backend engineering experience in Go (or a closely comparable typed language) building and operating APIs and backend systems in production
- API design and lifecycle ownership: versioning, backwards compatibility, and reasoning about customer impact of changes
- Cloud (AWS) and container/orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform); on-prem environment awareness is a plus
- Data and messaging experience: PostgreSQL for storage, NATS for event-driven communication
- Observability experience: building and maintaining dashboards and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry; comfortable distinguishing metrics, logs, and traces during a live incident
- Treats testing, documentation, and code review as core engineering practice, not overhead
- Applies security and quality best practices in a production, customer-facing system
- Good experience in AI-assisted engineering tools (Cursor, Devin, or similar)
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT) and geospatial data (PostGIS, GeoJSON)
KEY COMPETENCES
In addition to the requirements above, we evaluate candidates on these key qualities throughout the hiring process:
Intellectual Firepower: Rapidly comprehends, structures and synthesizes complex information, draws accurate conclusions, and communicates them with clarity.
Passion & Work Ethic: Brings sustained motivation, resilience, and high personal standards to every challenge.
Ownership & Action: Assumes full accountability for outcomes, acting decisively, and ensuring commitments are delivered.
Team Player: Works collaboratively across teams, contributing to shared success, and engaging in constructive debate.
Integrity & Growth Mindset: Operates with transparency and humility, learns from setbacks, and actively seeks opportunities to grow.

Qdrant is an open-source vector search engine powering the next generation of AI applications, from semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to AI agents and real-time recommendations.
Trusted by global leaders like Canva, HubSpot, Tripadvisor, Bosch, and Deutsche Telekom, we’re building the retrieval infrastructure layer for modern AI. Recently raising $50M in Series B funding, we are growing rapidly and committed to transforming how AI understands and interacts with data.
As a remote-first company, we believe diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences fuel innovation. Here, you’ll own meaningful work, tackle challenges, and grow alongside passionate individuals dedicated to shaping the future of AI.
We are looking for a Mid-Level Security Engineer to own the hands-on engineering and operational work within our security program. You will be embedded in the Cloud Engineering team, report into the Security Officer, and work closely together to identify risks, set priorities, and drive security issues through remediation. You will act as a security enabler across all Product & Engineering.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Run our public bug bounty program: triage reports, reproduce and validate findings, communicate clearly with security researchers, and drive remediation through to closure.
- Investigate reported vulnerabilities at the code level, including our Rust core, Go and Python tooling.
- Enable engineers to build secure systems: provide tooling, paved-road defaults, documentation, and practical guidance so security is the easy path, not a checkpoint.
- Partner with engineering teams to design, review, and verify fixes, and set clear security requirements on changes where the risk warrants it.
- Harden and maintain our GitHub organization’s security posture, including secret scanning, push protection, branch protection and rulesets, dependency alerts, and code scanning, in partnership with the engineering teams that use these repositories daily.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and related infrastructure.
- Track and report security metrics (vulnerability remediation SLAs, MTTR, patch latency, critical findings) and keep reporting current for the Security Officer.
- Implement, configure, and maintain security tooling across our development and cloud environments.
- Support security incident response, including investigation, containment, remediation, and follow-up.
- Maintain clear, complete, and auditable records of vulnerability and incident work in our tracking systems.
- Build security automation and guardrails that scale across the development lifecycle: CI/CD security checks, policy-as-code, GitHub automation, and automated cloud security controls, so secure defaults are enforced by tooling rather than review.
- Participate in threat modeling and architecture reviews for new services and major changes.
We are also building out our ISMS, which creates opportunities to contribute to security-tooling evaluations, technical vendor assessments, and proof-of-concept work. Formal compliance ownership, vendor risk assessments, and customer security questionnaires remain with the Security Officer.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on security engineering, vulnerability management, and incident response. The Security Officer owns compliance, formal third-party risk assessments, and customer security questionnaires, allowing you to focus primarily on engineering work. On-call expectations are low: there is no formal rotation, though occasional availability for high-severity incidents is expected.
WHO YOU ARE
- You can read and navigate an unfamiliar codebase (Rust, Go, Python) well enough to validate a vulnerability report, trace its impact, and judge whether a proposed fix actually closes it.
- You write and maintain automation and security tooling comfortably, and can hold a credible technical conversation in code review.
- Experience triaging vulnerability reports or working with a bug bounty program, vulnerability disclosure program, product security team, or similar function.
- Practical knowledge of cloud and container security, particularly AWS and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GitHub security features and securing CI/CD pipelines.
- The ability to investigate alerts and vulnerabilities methodically, distinguish genuine risk from noise, and recommend proportionate remediation.
- Clear written communication skills for working with external researchers and internal engineering teams.
- A self-directed approach and comfort independently managing a security queue.
- 3+ years in a hands-on security engineering, product security, or vulnerability management role.
Nice to have
- An offensive security background, such as penetration testing, CTF participation, vulnerability research, or exploit analysis.
- Experience working in an open-source company or contributing security improvements to open-source projects.
- Familiarity with cloud-native incident response.
WHY JOIN US
- A remote-first, international team working on cutting-edge AI infrastructure.
- A competitive salary with additional perks.
- Flexible working hours and async-friendly culture.
- High ownership and real impact.
- Open-source, engineering-driven culture.
- Choose your own laptop equipment.
For US-based full-time employees, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401k match, health, dental, and vision insurance, plus flexible PTO policy.
Qdrant is an equal-opportunity employer. We believe the best ideas come from diverse teams, and we actively welcome applicants from all backgrounds. - Department: Solutions
- Reports to: Engineering Manager / Team Lead
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Hybrid
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO)
Why this role matters
We build software products that turn ICEYE’s satellite data and analytics into outcomes customers can rely on during real events such as floods, wildfires, and earthquakes.
This is a senior individual contributor role where you are expected to take ownership of your work and help deliver end-to-end product slices across backend and frontend. You help us ship frequently, keep systems supportable in production, and continuously reduce friction in how we build and run our products.
Who We Are
ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy – day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.
As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE’s near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring (including oil-spill detection), and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.
ICEYE is headquartered in Finland and operates globally across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.
Your day-to day responsibilities
- End-to-End Delivery: Own full product slices by building seamless functionality from backend APIs to frontend UIs, turning vague requirements into testable, production-ready code.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain system reliability by participating in on-call rotations and improving "observability" through meaningful alerts, clear logs, and automated runbooks.
- Process Optimization: Boost team velocity by identifying delivery bottlenecks such as slow CI or flaky tests, and automating away recurring toil to focus on novel engineering challenges.
- Pragmatic Engineering: Design simple, maintainable architectures that prioritize incremental changes, clear documentation, and high-quality code reviews to ensure safe deployments.
- Collaborative Leadership: Align with cross-functional partners (Product, Design, Data) to solve problems while mentoring peers through pair programming and shared technical context.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves
- Senior-level experience delivering & maintaining cloud native production software.
- Strong experience with Python (FastAPI, async patterns) and TypeScript/React.
- Practical delivery mindset: you ship, you iterate, and you keep changes reviewable.
- Production maturity: you design for resilience, debuggability, and supportability.
- Strong communication: you can explain trade-offs clearly and align with Product and peers.
- Office collaboration: you welcome working 3 days per week in the Espoo office and thrive in direct collaboration.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Familiarity with geospatial domains, remote sensing, or data-intensive applications.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (for example Terraform).
- Pragmatic use of AI-assisted workflows (for example Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude Code) with good verification habits.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- TA Interview
- Hiring Manager Interview
- Take Home Task
- Panel Interview
- Department Lead Interview
- Final Interview with SVP of Solutions

Workplace: Hybrid
Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US.
As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations.
Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Synthesia is used by over 90% of the Fortune 100, and the largest deployments now run thousands of creators across dozens of markets, languages, and compliance regimes. What decides whether those accounts expand or stall is not another avatar, it is whether admins, legal, and programme owners can actually stay in control.
You'll own that layer end to end: workspace setup and governance, the content lifecycle, and the analytics and integrations that close the loop. This is the work that turns a proof of concept into a seven-figure renewal, and right now it is wide open.
WHY THIS ROLE NOW
AI video has crossed from experiment to standard tooling inside the world's biggest companies. The next phase of growth is won or lost on whether we can make that scale safe and manageable. That is your remit.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Owning the end-to-end roadmap for content lifecycle, governance, and the operational layer that keeps enterprise deployments running - from workspace setup through compliance controls
- Getting close to enterprise customers: understanding how IT admins, legal teams, programme managers and content owners think about governance, and what "in control" actually looks like at scale
- Translating that into clear product direction, what to build, in what order, and why, and keeping engineering and design aligned to it as the strategy evolves
- Working closely with the engineering manager and designer in the team; writing clear specs, making good calls on trade-offs, and providing the context that helps engineers build the right thing first time
- Partnering with Solutions, CS, and Legal on complex enterprise deals. These features are frequently deal-critical and the commercial loop matters
- Defining the metrics that tell us whether this layer is working: adoption of admin tooling, compliance feature usage, reduction in support escalations related to governance gaps
WHO YOU ARE
You've excited by the challenge that comes with untangling the inherent complexity of enterprise platform products. You understand that governance and compliance work isn't glamorous, but you know it's the difference between a proof of concept and a seven-figure renewal.
You can hold a conversation with a CISO and with a content creator, and understand what each of them needs from the same system.
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU BRING
- Significant experience owning a critical product domain - setting strategy, not just executing it
- A track record of connecting product outcomes to commercial results: ARR, retention, expansion, or equivalent
- Comfortable working across a broad surface area. You can prioritise ruthlessly and make the case for what gets built next
- Strong written communication: PRDs, strategy docs, and customer insight summaries that others can act on without a follow-up
- Ability to ramp quickly on to the complexity of enterprise buying motions. You'll be close to the commercial team on complex deals and that context matters
- Based in London or open to regular travel; the team is London-anchored and in-person time matters
We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every point above. Strong candidates rarely match a list exactly, and we'd rather hear from you.
OUR CULTURE
At Synthesia we’re passionate about building, not talking, planning or politicising. We strive to hire the smartest, kindest and most unrelenting people and let them do their best work without distractions. Our work principles serve as our charter for how we make decisions, give feedback and structure our work to empower everyone to go as fast as possible. You can find out more about these principles here. https://www.notion.so/How-we-work-at-Synthesia-f794caa72f8446efb6be22b551ce0fa2?pvs=21

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s.
- You don't need to be an AI expert, but you have a strong interest in the evolving AI landscape, stay closely attuned to industry trends and developments, and are curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
- Native or bilingual level fluency Japanese and business-level English proficiency across speaking, listening, and reading, including the ability to support team members with global communication
A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
