Staff Software Engineer, Adaptive Experiences Platform
Waterloo, ON
About the Role
The DTIS organization is building the next generation of adaptive experiences for PlayStation. Our vision is to make every customer touchpoint more relevant, useful, and joyful by combining reusable experience capabilities with personalization, merchandising, experimentation, and intelligent decisioning.
We are looking for a
Staff Software Engineer
to help lead the evolution of our Dynamic Experience Management platform, allowing teams to create and optimize experiences without requiring bespoke implementation for every client, iterating rapidly.
You will be a hands-on technical leader working across the experience stack. You will also shape the architecture needed to extend capabilities beyond PS5, across web, mobile, and other PlayStation devices. This is an opportunity to define foundational technology that will change how PlayStation builds, delivers, experiments with, and learns from customer experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the technical direction for our experiences client SDK, translating the adaptive-experiences vision into an incremental, production-ready architecture.
Design and evolve the platform-independent composition layer, public TypeScript APIs, versioned schemas, content adapters, component model, data bindings, and platform renderer contracts.
Build reusable experience primitives and native rendering capabilities that support responsive layouts, personalization, experimentation, telemetry, accessibility, localization, and platform-specific interaction models.
Establish safe coexistence and migration patterns, including backward compatibility, capability negotiation, validation, feature flags, fallbacks, rollback, and observability.
Profile and optimize bundle size, startup and time-to-interactive performance, memory usage, rendering behavior, and runtime reliability on resource-constrained client platforms.
Improve developer experience through clear interfaces, reference integrations, test harnesses, preview and debugging tools, automated compatibility testing, and high-quality documentation.
Help establish governed, agent-assisted authoring and validation workflows that can translate design and business intent into trusted artifacts, supported by policy checks and evaluation suites.
Partner with client, design system, merchandising, content, personalization, experimentation, and platform service teams to align contracts and deliver end-to-end capabilities.
Provide technical leadership across team boundaries, mentor engineers, make sound trade-offs in ambiguous problem spaces, and communicate architecture and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience designing and delivering production client platforms, SDKs, frameworks, or shared libraries.
Expert-level proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript and strong experience with React, React Native, or a comparable component-based client framework.
Strong software architecture and API design skills, including modularity, dependency management, versioning, backward compatibility, and incremental migration of large production systems.
Experience building data-driven or server-driven user interfaces, reusable component systems, or runtime composition frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and improve client performance and reliability using profiling, telemetry, automated testing, and production observability.
Experience designing for more than one client environment, such as console, mobile, web, TV, or embedded platforms, with a practical understanding of platform-specific constraints.
Proven track record of solving ambiguous, cross-functional problems with minimal direction and driving alignment without relying on formal authority.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document architecture and explain complex technical decisions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with console development, living-room interfaces, focus-based navigation, or performance-constrained native clients.
Experience with schema-backed declarative UI, domain-specific languages, JSON Schema, component expansion, data binding, hydration, or client-side rendering engines.
Experience building or integrating client SDKs, content management or merchandising systems, personalization platforms, experimentation frameworks, or design systems.
Experience migrating a large client application away from a legacy rendering or content-delivery framework using staged rollout, compatibility layers, and measurable exit criteria.
Experience developing platform adapters or renderers for iOS, Android, web, or other native client environments.
Familiarity with content and layout separation, runtime content sources, telemetry provenance, accessibility, localization, and safe fallback behavior.
Experience with developer tooling, visual preview systems, contract testing, schema validation, or automated cross-platform regression testing.
Experience applying generative AI or agentic workflows to software or content creation, including evaluation, governance, and deterministic output constraints.
A track record of technical leadership and mentoring across multiple teams.
Additional Skills
Motivated self-starter who combines long-term architectural thinking with pragmatic, incremental delivery.
Customer-focused and attentive to developer experience, operational usability, and measurable product outcomes.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with partners across product, design, engineering, and operations.

About the role
As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across your team and adjacent teams, solving the highest-scope and most complex problems in your area. You will lead large, cross-cutting backend initiatives, drive our modular architecture strategy, and define the standards that let teams move faster without compromising quality, security, reliability, or operability.
This is a technical leadership role that combines deep backend expertise, systems judgment, product judgment, and influence across organizational boundaries. You will work with Product, Frontend, Infrastructure, Security, Data, Engineering Managers, and engineers across product groups, bringing subject matter expertise, and you will do it without relying on formal authority.
Why you’ll love this role
Leverage:
Your work multiplies across teams. The platforms, standards, and architectural decisions you lead determine how quickly everyone else can ship.
Genuinely Hard Problems:
You’ll lead the modernization of a large monolith toward modular, reusable, appropriately independent systems — at the scale of a platform used by millions of users.
Influence Without Bureaucracy:
You’ll shape technical direction across teams through clear written proposals and decision records, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership on platform roadmap and investment trade-offs.
Frontier AI Work:
You’ll lead adoption of AI-assisted and agentic engineering workflows and define the review, quality, security, and privacy guardrails that make them safe to rely on.
Autonomy:
You’ll thrive in our remote-first, asynchronous organization, where clear written communication and self-direction are the pillars of success.
What you’ll do
Lead Cross-Cutting Initiatives:
Lead the technical design and delivery of large backend initiatives that span teams, and identify and remove systemic bottlenecks across product and infrastructure groups.
Own Architecture Strategy:
Drive modular backend, service, data, and platform architecture. Lead modernization of the monolith and legacy backends toward modular, reusable, and appropriately independently operated systems — while preventing fragmentation and service sprawl.
Set the Standards:
Define and improve standards for APIs, contracts, compatibility, schema evolution, testing, security, performance, observability, operability, and maintainability — plus the build, test, deploy, release, rollback, and production-readiness practices needed to operate modular features safely.
Establish Shared Patterns:
Create the patterns for dependency management, data ownership, eventing, failure isolation, service maturity, and operational documentation. Establish Go service patterns and Kubernetes operating practices where they matter to our production estate, and guide Rust adoption where it solves a real systems, security, performance, or supply-chain problem.
Own What You Build in Production:
Take part in on-call and incident response for the systems your teams own, act as a technical escalation point during complex incidents, and turn what you learn into architectural and operational improvements that prevent recurrence.
Influence and Partner:
Shape technical direction across teams without formal authority, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership on platform-level roadmap decisions and investment trade-offs.
Grow Engineers:
Mentor Senior and Intermediate engineers, shepherd technical debt reduction and reusable patterns that improve throughput, and raise the technical capability of the wider team.
Lead AI Adoption:
Lead team-level adoption of AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including the quality, security, privacy, and operational guardrails, and help engineers direct, validate, reject, and course-correct agent output.
What you’ll bring
Cross-Team Technical Leadership:
A sustained record of technical leadership across more than one team or a broad product area.
Deep Architecture Experience:
Deep backend architecture and production experience in complex applications, services, or platforms, including scaling or governing APIs, service platforms, data systems, modular monoliths, or shared backend components.
Modularization in Production:
Experience modernizing a monolith or legacy backend architecture in production, and with modular architecture such as bounded contexts, package encapsulation, ports and adapters, service extraction, event-driven boundaries, or an equivalent approach.
Influence Without Authority:
A strong ability to create alignment through clear written proposals and decision records, so decisions are documented, understood, and adopted without constant escalation.
Product Judgment:
The ability to balance customer outcomes, delivery speed, technical health, reliability, and long-term platform investment.
Mentorship:
Experience mentoring engineers and shaping standards through code review, documentation, and example.
Agentic AI Leadership:
Production experience with AI-assisted or agentic engineering workflows, including the ability to evaluate and improve how a team adopts them.
Helpful experience
Go services and APIs at scale.
Kubernetes and cloud-native operations, including deployment, scaling, observability, rollback, and production readiness.
Rust adoption or production ownership for systems, security, performance, or platform components.
Ruby/Rails modularization and large-monolith modernization.
PostgreSQL scaling, data partitioning, queues, messaging, or distributed systems.
Security-sensitive product or software supply chain engineering.
Experience across SaaS, single-tenant, self-managed, or air-gapped deployment constraints.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are hiring our first Sydney-based Product Support Specialists, who will grow our global presence as a team and serve as champions of our unique support brand. You’ll be at the front lines of safely delivering AI to the world by responding to, investigating, and tracking user needs in your day-to-day. Additionally, you’ll help us identify and close gaps in our team’s technical knowledge, provide high-touch support to strategic customers, and demonstrate deep care for how we systematically support customers at scale.
Note: Specialists in Sydney will work 12pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
Become an expert in all Anthropic products
Respond to user support cases with a variety of complexity, from simple billing or account questions for individuals to complex API debugging for large businesses
Clearly and empathetically communicate with a wide range of user personas, context-switching between guiding executives in a high-touch model and assisting consumer users at a rapid pace
Manage on-call tasks for high-urgency user issues with extreme ownership. This includes being on critical “pager duty” during APAC hours to ensure 24/7 support for critical queries
Prioritize critically and comfortably adapt to an ever-evolving product landscape
Operate in ambiguity, making informed decisions even in never-before-seen situations
Partner with engineers, teammates, and other internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve user issues, both individually and at scale
Suggest and drive improvements to increase user satisfaction through support processes, as well as own initiatives that increase efficiency and drive down contact rates
Uplevel our team’s technical knowledge by scoping gaps, working with cross-functional partners to deeply understand relevant nuances, and building resources that grow with our products
You may be a good fit if you
Have experience in providing technical product support within a second-tier, escalated, or priority support team

Have demonstrated an ability to thrive in fast-paced, reactive situations while meeting core support metrics targets (e.g., CSAT, SLA, etc.)
Possess strong user empathy and are expert in the lifecycle of a support case; you can read between the lines of a user’s question, put yourself in their shoes, and get at the heart of their needs for a speedy, satisfying resolution
Have crisp but kind written communication skills and a deep care for the details
Enjoy helping others learn about new features and complex concepts
Are persistent and curious; you delight in the hunt of tracking down a bug or issue, and are energized by fixing this for all similar users going forward
Have experience contributing to the foundations of a support team. This is essential, highly valuable, but often unglamorous work, and it is particularly key for this role due to it being among the first Support hires in APAC/ANZ
Are proficient at working in a technical environment and are interested in Anthropic’s products
Possess a deep sense of ownership, and are excited to help us build our team!

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Compute & Infrastructure Accounting team supports accounting and financial reporting for OpenAI’s rapidly evolving cloud computing, data center, server, equipment, colocation, software and data, and other AI infrastructure arrangements. We’re seeking a hands-on Contract Accountant to support recurring close and day-to-day operational accounting for these costs.
The contractor will translate contract terms, pricing, delivery, usage, invoices, and operational data into accurate accruals, true-ups, journal-entry support, reconciliations, and variance explanations. This role works closely with Compute & Infrastructure Accounting, Technical Accounting, Procurement, Strategic Finance, Data Engineering, and external vendors to resolve exceptions and keep accounting outputs timely, complete, and audit-ready. The contractor will use approved AI tools to reduce manual effort, strengthen analysis, improve documentation, and create scalable operating leverage.
This role does not make final accounting conclusions or approve journals, payments, vendors, contracts, or access; it does not negotiate contracts or commit company funds. Success is measured by accurate and timely close deliverables, well-supported reconciliations, prompt exception resolution, dependable cross-functional communication, and adherence to established controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Close and Operational Accounting
- Prepare and support assigned month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, true-ups, journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, balance-sheet substantiation, and flux or variance analysis.
- Prepare journal-entry support and submissions, including account and cost-center coding; monitor approval, posting, and rejection status and coordinate timely follow-up with authorized employees.
- Perform vendor- and contract-level reconciliations, monitor actuals against accruals, resolve differences, and support recurring management reporting.
- Support lease, fixed-asset, construction-in-progress, and related infrastructure accounting as assigned, including data capture, schedule maintenance, modifications, and period-end entries.
Contract, Invoice, and Data Validation
- Maintain complete and accurate contract and pricing records across new agreements, amendments, credits, delivery or drawdown changes, extensions, and terminations.
- Translate commercial terms into accounting inputs and operating workflows and ensure relevant changes are reflected in recurring accounting processes.
- Validate vendor invoices and operational data against rates, usage, commitments, delivery, resource attributes, and accounting mappings.
- Investigate exceptions, document root causes and resolutions, track open items and bottlenecks, and coordinate follow-up through completion.
Controls, Audit, and Issue Resolution
- Follow established accounting policies, standard operating procedures, close calendars, review requirements, and approval workflows.
- Execute control procedures over source data and workpapers, including completeness and accuracy checks, evidence retention, and reviewer-ready documentation.
- Respond to audit and control requests by assembling tie-outs, schedules, explanations, and source evidence.
- Use company information only through approved systems and devices, follow least-privilege and security requirements, and promptly escalate suspected data, security, or access issues.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Compute & Infrastructure Accounting, Technical Accounting, Procurement, Strategic Finance, Finance Systems, Data, Engineering, and external vendors to resolve accounting and operational blockers.
- Communicate requirements, status, outstanding items, and accounting implications clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Escalate unusual contracts, accounting judgments, control exceptions, or access requests with clear context and recommended next steps.
Process Discipline and Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring data-quality issues, process delays, and control gaps, and surface trends and recommended improvements to the appropriate team lead.
- Write clear requirements, test system or process changes, and validate downstream accounting outputs before operational use.
- Improve recurring workflows through standardization, documentation, automation, and tooling; maintain clear procedures and handoffs.
- Use approved AI-enabled tools responsibly to reduce manual effort, strengthen analysis and documentation, and support scalable and agentic workflows while following data-security and review requirements.
- Help maintain consistent execution as systems, accounting requirements, and workflows evolve.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Progressive experience in accounting, audit, advisory, or a related finance function, including hands-on operational accounting.
- Strong month-end and quarter-end close experience involving accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and workpaper preparation.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls, with the judgment to recognize and escalate matters requiring technical accounting review.
- Experience interpreting contracts, invoices, and large operational datasets and translating them into accurate accounting outcomes.
- Advanced spreadsheet and data-analysis skills and experience using an ERP or comparable finance system.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to reduce manual effort, strengthen analysis, improve documentation, and create scalable operating leverage.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, clear documentation habits, and the ability to independently manage high-volume, deadline-driven work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across Finance, Procurement, Engineering, external vendors, and time zones.
PREFERRED
- Operational accounting experience in a technology, cloud-computing, or infrastructure environment.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion and lease-accounting, fixed-asset, or similar finance systems.
- CPA, CA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Exposure to cloud and compute costs, lease accounting, fixed assets, construction in progress, or related infrastructure arrangements.
- Familiarity with SQL, GitHub, issue-tracking tools, or similar technical tools used to investigate data and process issues.
- Experience in audit-ready, high-growth, or control-focused operating environments.
- Experience collaborating across time zones with distributed teams and external service providers.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position sits within Ramp’s Channel team and reports to Partner Consulting. In this role, you’ll build and scale Ramp’s long-term System Integrator (SI)-led implementation program. You’ll enable a broad ecosystem of implementation partners to support a meaningful volume of Ramp-referred customers, deliver high-quality implementations, and extend the capacity of Ramp’s Customer Success organization.
Ramp’s current SI pilot is the starting point - not the end state. You’ll translate the pilot’s learnings into the operating model, technical readiness, commercial foundations, and quality controls required to scale responsibly from an initial cohort to a broad network of partners across products, ERP ecosystems, and geographies.
You’ll be Ramp’s technical and programmatic owner for SI delivery: enabling partners to implement Ramp successfully, defining clear scope and certification standards, measuring implementation quality and customer outcomes, and turning field learnings into improvements across product, enablement, and partner strategy.
This is a senior IC role, not a people-management role. You’ll need equal credibility in technical implementation conversations and commercial partner-program design, working closely with Channel Partner Managers, Solutions, Customer Success, Product, Product Operations, Accounting Integrations, Legal, Security, and Finance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and scale the SI operating model, including partner segmentation, certification tiers, service packages, implementation methodology, scope boundaries, escalation paths, quality standards, and performance management.
- Own partner readiness and technical enablement across Ramp configuration, ERP integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, and customer change management - defining what partners can deliver independently, when Ramp co-delivery is required, and what remains out of scope.
- Serve as the first-line technical strategist for SI partners: resolve standard implementation and integration questions, orchestrate specialist support for true exceptions, and convert recurring issues into scalable playbooks, training, or product feedback.
- Establish the delivery-quality and performance system for the program, including implementation reviews, certification gates, QBRs, customer feedback loops, remediation plans, and reporting on time-to-live, activation, CSAT, rework, capacity, cost-to-serve, and partner-sourced or partner-influenced pipeline.
- Design the commercial and capacity model in partnership with Channel and Finance, including fixed fees, milestone-based payouts, accelerators, partner capacity commitments, joint business planning, and the program economics required to scale sustainably.
- Lead responsible program expansion across new products, ERP ecosystems, and geographies; set readiness gates for complex offerings such as Procurement, and influence Product, Product Operations, Product Marketing, and Accounting Integrations using structured field feedback.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Significant senior-level experience scaling an implementation, services, or partner-delivery motion from pilot through repeatable multi-partner execution.
- Experience in a partner-ecosystem-dependent technology business, such as ERP, accounting, finance operations, procurement, or enterprise SaaS or at a systems integrator/consulting firm that implements those platforms.
- Demonstrated ownership of implementation quality and customer outcomes, including scope control, partner certification, delivery QA, and escalation governance.
- Technical fluency to lead credible conversations about integrations, configuration, data migration, ERP workflows, and implementation design; engineering depth is not required, but sound judgment on when to engage specialists is.
- Commercial judgment to design partner packages, incentives, capacity commitments, payout structures, and guardrails that protect customer outcomes and program economics.
- Ability to build 0-to-1 operating mechanisms and trusted senior relationships across a diverse partner ecosystem - from specialized regional SIs to global strategic consultancies - including the confidence to challenge partners and internal stakeholders when delivery readiness is insufficient.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building or scaling a white-label, staff-augmentation, or outcome-based services model.
- Experience with Card, Bill Pay, Procurement, AP automation, ERP integrations, multi-entity environments, or global finance operations.
- Experience expanding an SI/channel program across North America and international markets.
- Prior 0-to-1 partner-program or services-program experience.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Establish the SI operating model, including partner readiness, certification, service packages, quality standards, escalation paths, and reporting.
- Enable existing partners to deliver the supported scope with greater independence, predictable quality, and a commercial model tied to verified milestones and customer outcomes.
- Publish a data-backed expansion plan across products, ERP ecosystems, and regions, with clear readiness gates for complex offerings such as Procurement.

Workplace: Hybrid
Perplexity is looking for a Lead Product Designer to own the design of our enterprise product. You'll design new experiences across enterprise and multiplayer use cases — making software that feels like the future but can be understood and used by anyone in the world today.
These surfaces are net-new and, in many cases, unprecedented. You'll be building them 0→1, which means bringing deep knowledge of how enterprise software actually works: organizational and seat management, and deeply nuanced role-based experiences that account for workplace policy, compliance, administrative management, privacy, permissions, and security. You'll ship features that balance well-established UI paradigms with novel applications of AI, working independently and strategically to find both the problems worth solving and the solutions worth shipping.
Good design that nobody gets to use is wasted, so you'll optimize for getting great software into customers' hands and learning from real usage. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and the broader design team, and you care about everything it takes to make a product great: product, interaction, brand, growth, copywriting, engineering, and marketing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design net-new, 0→1 enterprise surfaces across enterprise and general multiplayer use cases
- Design for the realities of enterprise software: organizational management, seat management, admin controls, permissions, privacy, security, and compliance
- Craft deeply nuanced role-based experiences that adapt to workplace policy and different levels of access and responsibility
- Ship features that balance well-established UI paradigms with novel applications of AI
- Make software that feels like the future but can be used and understood by anyone in the world today
- Work independently and strategically — finding the problems and the solutions
- Own work end-to-end, from 0→1 product design through large-scale optimization
- Contribute to process so we're always shipping changes you're proud of, as often as possible
- Partner with brand design to ensure the enterprise product is not only useful but memorable
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience designing enterprise, consumer, or prosumer products
- Deep knowledge of enterprise software: organizational and seat management, role-based access, admin management, permissions, privacy, security, and compliance
- Experience designing non-deterministic tools used by large workplace cohorts — eg.Figma, Slack, Ramp, Airtable
- Comfortable thinking about both 0→1 product design and large-scale optimization
- Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills
- An excellent communicator with team members and users
- Comfort prototyping or coding your ideas
- You care about shipping great software more than anything else
- 5+ years of industry experience
NICE TO HAVE
- Some of our design team writes production code — we welcome existing skills or interest in coding with React or SwiftUI

PAYOR INTELLIGENCE SR. ANALYST
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, "They'll be in touch soon." So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We're seeking a Payor Intelligence Analyst with deep knowledge of the U.S. payor landscape and a talent for turning fragmented, conflicting information into durable logic. Understanding how payors actually relate to one another, which entities own which plans, who delegates what, and which policy applies when, is work our entire product depends on. You'll build and own payor intelligence at Tennr as a zero-to-one function.
The payor landscape is a massive, constantly shifting dataset: parent organizations, subsidiaries, TPAs, PBMs, Medicaid MCOs, Medicare Advantage plans, delegated UM vendors, acquisitions, and rebrands. Your job is to make it legible, building the taxonomies, hierarchies, and governance that let our models and teams reason correctly about it, and translating that reality into product requirements alongside engineering, clinical, and operations.
If you've developed deep payer expertise inside a large organization, this is the rare seat with clear ownership and impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and own payor entity mapping: the hierarchies, families, subsidiaries, TPAs, PBMs, and delegated relationships that define how coverage and authorization actually flow.
- Source, interpret, and govern medical policies, coverage criteria, government guidance, and fee schedules, establishing effective dating, provenance, and version control.
- Design the delegated-relationship logic behind prior authorization, determining which entity owns the decision for a given plan, product, and service.
- Identify and track the clinical content sources our policies depend on, such as InterQual and NCCN, and own what we need to contract for and when.
- Map prospect and customer payor data back to Tennr's payor model, turning a recurring manual effort into a repeatable system.
- Embrace a founder's mindset, proactively driving projects from conception to completion, and contributing significantly to our company's growth and success.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years working across the U.S. payor landscape, with real breadth across Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and MCOs, and commercial lines of business.
- Fluency in payor structure: payor families, subsidiaries, TPAs, PBMs, delegated entities, regional versus national plans, and self-funded versus fully insured arrangements.
- Experience researching and interpreting payor policies, government guidance, fee schedules, or clinical guidelines, including reconciling sources that disagree with each other.
- A track record of building taxonomies, frameworks, databases, or mapping systems that other people rely on, not just answering questions as they come in.
- Exceptional analytical and pattern-recognition skills, with the investigative instinct to work productively from ambiguous and incomplete information.
- Self-directed ownership of a domain end to end, without predefined process or constant validation.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex payor concepts to a diverse audience.

Location: EMEA
Reports to:
Regional Head of Compliance, EMEA (with matrix reporting to the OEM Board and Global Compliance)
Regulator:
Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA)
About the Team
The compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We are a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company's AML and regulatory obligations and enterprise risks.
OKX Europe Markets Limited is our MFSA-authorised investment services entity. Its licence covers the operation of a multilateral trading facility alongside our MiFID derivatives business. Operating a trading venue puts a distinct set of obligations on the firm: venue rulebook governance, member admission, market surveillance, transparency and reporting, systems resilience and orderly trading controls. This role owns compliance for that venue.
What You Will Be Doing
As Head of Compliance for the MTF, you will hold the MiFID compliance function for the trading venue and act as the MFSA-approved person for that role. The MLRO function sits separately; you will work alongside the OEM MLRO on financial crime matters that touch venue activity.
You will:
Own the MTF compliance framework end to end: policies, procedures, controls, registers and the compliance monitoring programme covering MiFID II, MiFIR, MAR and the MFSA Investment Services Rules applicable to MTF operators.
Act as the primary compliance point of contact for the MFSA on venue matters: authorisation variations, notifications, thematic reviews, RFIs, inspections and remediation.
Own the venue rulebook. Keep it current, ensure it is enforceable, and run the governance process for changes.
Oversee member and participant admission: eligibility criteria, non-discriminatory access, direct electronic access arrangements, sponsored access controls, and ongoing monitoring of members' compliance with the rules of the venue.
Oversee admission to trading of financial instruments, including the compliance assessment of new instruments, product classes and tokenised or DLT-based instruments where relevant.
Provide compliance oversight of orderly trading requirements: systems capacity and resilience, testing of members' algorithms, circuit breakers, order-to-trade ratios, tick sizes, market making schemes and clock synchronisation.
Provide compliance oversight of pre- and post-trade transparency, waivers and deferrals, transaction reporting, reference data and the accuracy and completeness controls behind them.
Advise the business on the interaction between the MTF and OKX's wider European footprint: the MiFID derivatives business, MiCA-authorised activity in OKX Europe Ltd, and the DLT Pilot Regime where a DLT MTF is in scope.
Deliver the annual compliance risk assessment, the compliance monitoring plan and the compliance report to senior management and the Board.
Build, lead and develop the MTF compliance team, and set the compliance training curriculum for venue-facing staff, trading operations and technology.
Give day-to-day advice to product, engineering, trading operations, legal and market operations in a fast-moving regulatory environment, including sign-off on venue changes, launches and marketing where required.
Oversee compliance aspects of outsourcing, critical third parties and operational resilience, including DORA obligations relevant to the venue.
Prepare Board, committee and matrix stakeholder reporting, and represent OKX with the MFSA, ESMA consultations, industry bodies and peer venue forums.
What We Look For in You
10 years plus in regulatory compliance within financial services, market infrastructure, fintech or crypto, including time at a senior or head-of-function level.
Direct experience of trading venue compliance: MTF, OTF, regulated market, SI or an equivalent execution venue. This is the core requirement.
Working knowledge of MiFID II and MiFIR as they apply to venue operators: Articles 18–20 and 31 (MTF operating requirements and rule monitoring), Articles 48–50 (orderly trading), MiFIR transparency and transaction reporting, and the associated RTS.
Practical experience of market abuse surveillance and MAR obligations for a venue operator, including STOR decision-making.
Experience developing and owning a compliance framework that has stood up to regulatory examination, and a track record of engaging supervisors directly.
Experience preparing and defending compliance reporting to a board or regulator.
Familiarity with MFSA Investment Services Rules and Malta's regulatory environment, or a demonstrable ability to get there quickly from another EEA jurisdiction.
Strong project management skills and the ability to run several regulatory workstreams to deadline.
Comfortable working independently and in a dispersed, cross-border team across multiple varied tasks.
Highly ethical, intuitive, and willing to question and challenge at every level of the business.
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain venue regulation to engineers and commercial teams.
Eligible for MFSA approval as the holder of the compliance function.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Haves
Prior experience in the crypto industry, particularly tokenised instruments, crypto derivatives or a MiCA-authorised trading platform.
Experience with the DLT Pilot Regime or another distributed ledger market infrastructure.
Experience of a trading venue authorisation or a licence variation to add MTF operation.
Familiarity with surveillance platforms (Nasdaq Trade Surveillance, Eventus, Scila, Steeleye or similar) and with transaction reporting tooling.
International Compliance Association, ACAMS, CISI or equivalent compliance certification.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking Software Engineers to join our Observability team within the Infrastructure organization. The Observability team owns the monitoring and telemetry infrastructure that every engineer and researcher at Anthropic depends on—from metrics and logging pipelines to distributed tracing, profiling, error analytics, alerting, and the dashboards and query interfaces that make it all actionable. By joining this team, you'll have a direct impact on the reliability and operational excellence of Anthropic's research and product systems.
As Anthropic scales its infrastructure across massive GPU, TPU, and Trainium clusters, the volume and complexity of operational data is growing by orders of magnitude—and an increasing share of the hardest problems live below the application layer. We're building next-generation observability systems—high-throughput telemetry pipelines, fleet-wide continuous profiling, eBPF-based tracing and network visibility, and agentic diagnostic tools—so engineers can detect, diagnose, and resolve issues in minutes rather than hours, even when the answer lies in the kernel, the network stack, or an accelerator rather than on a dashboard.
Key responsibilities
Design and build scalable telemetry ingest and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and error data across Anthropic's multi-cluster infrastructure
Build observability solutions that give engineers deep, low-overhead visibility into system behavior across the fleet
Own and evolve core observability platforms, driving migrations and architectural improvements that improve reliability, reduce cost, and scale with organizational growth
Build instrumentation libraries, SDKs, and eBPF-based auto-instrumentation to emit high-quality telemetry, with and without code changes
Reduce mean time to detection and resolution by building cross-signal correlation—from kernel-level events up to application traces—unified query interfaces, and AI-assisted diagnostic tooling
Drive fleet-wide efficiency by turning continuous profiling and utilization telemetry into actionable optimization insights across CPU, memory, and accelerator fleets
Partner with Research, Inference, Product, and Infrastructure teams to ensure observability solutions meet the unique needs of each organization
Minimum qualifications
Have hands-on experience building and operating large-scale observability or monitoring infrastructure
Have deep, hands-on experience with observability signals end to end—from instrumentation through ingest to query and analysis
Understand high-throughput telemetry pipelines and the tradeoffs involved in collecting, storing, and querying operational data at scale
Are comfortable digging below the application layer into the kernel, the network stack, or the hardware
Have excellent communication skills and enjoy partnering with internal teams to improve their operational visibility and incident response capabilities
Are excited about building foundational infrastructure and comfortable navigating ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges, both independently and with a team
Preferred qualifications
10+ years of relevant industry experience, including building and operating large-scale observability or monitoring infrastructure
Experience building or operating eBPF-based observability in production—tracing, profiling, or network visibility
Experience running continuous profiling at fleet scale, including managing overhead budgets and symbolization
Kernel- and syscall-level debugging experience and performance engineering craft
Experience profiling or instrumenting accelerator workloads
Experience operating metrics systems at very high cardinality, or large-scale telemetry storage backends
Experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation, collector pipelines, and tail-based sampling strategies
Interest in applying AI/LLMs to operational workflows such as automated root cause analysis, anomaly detection, or intelligent alerting

Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
