Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $169 billion in assets under administration. We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Finance team is where numbers become decisions. We partner closely with business leaders across the company to make sure Wealthsimple is allocating resources wisely, hitting its targets, and building toward long-term sustainability. Within Finance, the Tax team is responsible for managing Wealthsimple's tax profiles across a growing number of legal entities and products — balancing tax law compliance while enabling business strategy. We're a small, high-trust team embedded in the business, and we hold ourselves to a high bar for both rigour and clarity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Manager, Transfer Pricing & International Tax to join our growing Tax team and take ownership of the company’s transfer pricing framework.
This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining technical tax expertise with practical business partnership. You will lead transfer pricing policy, documentation, compliance audit and advisory work across the group, while partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, FP&A and business teams.
The role is primarily focused on transfer pricing, with an opportunity to support broader international tax matters if/when the company expands into new markets in future.
You will have the opportunity to help build a scalable transfer pricing function in a fast-growing fintech environment, including establishing processes, controls and documentation that support continued growth and future IPO readiness.
IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Own, update and maintain the group’s transfer pricing framework, policies and governance processes, including the contemporaneous documentation. Ensure they remain aligned with the group’s actual functions, assets and risks.
- Lead the preparation and review of Canadian and international transfer pricing documentation, including local files, master files and supporting analyses, as applicable.
- Develop scalable transfer pricing processes, controls and governance appropriate for a growing organization.
- Identify opportunities to automate transfer pricing calculations, data collection and reporting.
- Lead transfer pricing analysis for intercompany services, technology and IP arrangements, financing, guarantees, cost allocations and other related-party transactions.
- Assess appropriate transfer pricing methodologies and oversee benchmarking and economic analyses.
- Manage transfer pricing calculations, data requirements and processes
- Monitor intercompany transactions and identify gaps between transfer pricing policies, agreements and actual activity.
- Review and/or design intercompany agreements and supporting documentation.
- Monitor changes in the business and proactively identify transfer pricing implications of new products, entities, jurisdictions and changes to operating models.
- For any special projects, manage external advisors and ensure deliverables are technically sound and commercially practical.
- Support transfer pricing audits, tax authority inquiries and controversy matters.
- Build relationships across the organization and proactively identify tax considerations before business decisions are finalized.
- Support the Tax team with international tax matters as the company expands its footprint.
- Monitor developments in international tax rules, including bilateral tax treaties and OECD initiatives, and assess potential impacts on the business.
SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:
- 5–8+ years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, international tax or tax advisory.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian transfer pricing rules and OECD transfer pricing principles.
- Experience with Canadian transfer pricing documentation, T106 and T1134 reporting.
- Experience with intercompany transactions and multinational or cross-border operating models.
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing methodologies and economic benchmarking.
- Experience managing transfer pricing projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex transactions and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical tax matters to non-tax stakeholders, and translate complex transfer pricing concepts into clear, practical recommendations.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA, CA, LL.M. or another relevant professional designation is an asset.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in fintech, financial services, technology or another rapidly growing industry.
- U.S. tax or other international transfer pricing experience.
- Experience with intercompany financing and guarantee arrangements.
- Experience with technology, intellectual property or centralized service arrangements.
- Experience with transfer pricing audits or tax controversy.
- Experience with tax technology, automation or data analytics.
WHY JOIN US?
This is an opportunity to join a high-growth fintech at an exciting stage of its evolution and help build the transfer pricing function rather than simply maintain an established model.
You’ll work on cross-border transactions, innovative financial products and evolving business models while partnering with stakeholders across Tax, Finance, Treasury and the broader organization.
The role offers significant opportunity to grow with the company, with the potential to take on broader international tax responsibilities as the business expands internationally.
If you’re a transfer pricing professional who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable processes and partnering with the business, we’d love to hear from you.

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
As the Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for Asia Pacific at Cohere, you will own Solutions Architecture across the region. Our customers here are banks, telcos, industrials and governments who cannot send their data to someone else’s cloud, and who are past experimenting and into production. You will lead the team that makes those deployments real, and you will be accountable for the technical win across the region.
This is a build. Today a Solutions Architecture team covers Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia. You will own that team, grow it, and build the in-region depth this market needs. You will be expected to open doors on your own credibility and network from your first weeks, set direction for the function, sit on the Solution Architecture leadership team alongside the regional leaders for the Americas and EMEA, and contribute to company-wide decisions with your peers across Sales, Product and Engineering.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Build and Lead the Team: Hire, coach and develop the Asia Pacific Solutions Architecture organization, and establish in-region depth rather than relying on support flown in from other regions.
- Open Doors Across the Region: Bring industry knowledge, technical credibility and an existing network to get Cohere into strategic accounts quickly. This is the central expectation of the role and you should expect to be measured on it.
- Own the Technical Win: Be personally accountable for the technical outcome of the region’s most strategic pursuits, and be in the room for the ones that decide the year.
- Set Direction for the Function: Define the vision, strategy, coverage model and operating rhythm for Asia Pacific Solutions Architecture across three markets that buy differently and regulate differently.
- Architect Sovereign and Regulated Deployments: Lead customers into secure, scalable, production-ready agentic AI deployments across cloud, hybrid, VPC, on-premises and air-gapped environments, which is where much of this region’s demand sits.
- Build Repeatable Solution Practices: Establish scalable solution-selling methodologies, industry playbooks, executive narratives, business cases and technical delivery frameworks that improve consistency and win rates.
- Partner with Regional Sales Leadership: Own territory, coverage and pipeline jointly with the Asia Pacific sales leader, and be accountable for the number together.
- Shape Product Direction: Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate Asia Pacific customer needs into platform improvements and roadmap priorities. You will be one of a handful of people who can tell our product organization what this region actually requires.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and develop the Asia Pacific Solutions Architecture team through hiring, coaching, performance management and career development.
- Partner with regional Sales leadership to pursue and close strategic enterprise opportunities across financial services, telecommunications, industrials, technology and the public sector.
- Establish and own the regional coverage model across Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia, and make the case for where the team grows next.
- Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations and technical deep dives with C-suite and senior customer stakeholders.
- Develop business cases, solution architectures, implementation roadmaps and technical proposals that align customer objectives with Cohere’s platform.
- Guide customers through the deployment of enterprise AI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, governance, data residency and operational readiness.
- Create repeatable solution assets, industry playbooks and best practices that enable the team to consistently deliver high-quality customer engagements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success to ensure alignment between customer needs and platform evolution, and contribute to decisions that reach beyond your own function.
- Serve as the voice of the region by capturing customer feedback and competitive insights that influence product strategy.
- Own and report on the region’s operational and commercial metrics, including technical win rates, pipeline health, coverage and team performance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Leadership Experience: 15+ years in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting or Enterprise Architecture, including 7+ years leading customer-facing technical teams, and a record of developing people into senior and leadership roles.
- Regional Depth and Network: You have built or run a technical organization across more than one Asia Pacific market, you understand how enterprise technology is actually bought in each of them, and you have a network of senior technical and executive relationships you are willing to be measured on.
- People Leadership: A proven record of hiring, coaching and developing high-performing Solutions Architecture or Solutions Engineering teams, including building a team in-region from a small base.
- Hands-On Technical Credibility: You are technical enough to be believed by a strong engineering bench. You have put real AI systems into production, you can pressure-test your team’s architecture, and you can be the most useful person in a design conversation when it matters. We care far more about what you have deployed, and what broke, than about which models you can name.
- Commercial Acumen: A demonstrated ability to partner with enterprise Sales leadership, influence strategic deals, and articulate business value to executive stakeholders. You have carried a number and can point to deals you personally moved.
- Executive Presence: You command a room. You are credible in front of a CEO and their business leaders as well as a Chief Information Officer, a Chief AI Officer or a Chief Information Security Officer, and you can move between the business case and the architecture without losing either audience.
- Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of modern AI architectures, including large language models, agentic systems, retrieval, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, hybrid and on-premises deployments, security and governance.
- Enterprise Experience: Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions in complex, regulated or large-scale environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience building an AI, machine learning or data science function inside a large regulated enterprise, and taking it into production.
- Depth in Asia Pacific financial services, telecommunications or the public sector.
- Experience deploying into environments where the customer controls the infrastructure, including on-premises, sovereign and air-gapped deployments.
- Background in enterprise AI, cloud, or data platform companies, or applied AI consulting organizations.
- Experience building repeatable solution-selling methodologies and helping generalist technical teams operate at a consistently high level.
- Working proficiency in a regional language in addition to English.
- Experience operating in high-growth environments where speed, ownership and cross-functional collaboration are critical.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.
- 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent.
- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
We strive to create an inclusive work environment for all; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12a6IrLdF3kI2nonKSr4tiFuz18rLQbaeYV-JM9L4o9Q/edit, and we will work together to meet your needs.
We may use AI-enabled tools to screen and assess applicants against the criteria for this position. This helps our recruiters identify potentially qualified candidates, but it doesn't limit the applications our recruiters may review or consider.

About the Team
We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.

Keep complex interfaces responsive, performant, and maintainable.
Contribute to UI architecture and technical decisions.
Own UI features end-to-end — from implementation and interaction logic to integration, performance, and final visual polish.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, AI engineers, and product/design specialists to integrate the interface with the underlying systems.
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience developing complex, interactive UI for desktop or other applications, not just websites or simple web interfaces.
Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.

Portfolio or examples of complex interfaces you have developed.
Nice to have
Experience with Qt / PySide / PyQt.
Experience with QML / Qt Quick.
Experience with advanced animations and interactive visual elements.
Experience with 2D/3D graphics, rendering, visualization, or multimedia.
Experience integrating design systems or Figma designs into production applications.
Experience with developer tools, IDEs, editors, creative tools, or AI/LLM-powered applications.
We offer
Full-time remote work (service provider contract).
Competitive compensation (EUR, USD).

The opportunity to show creativity, generate ideas, and directly influence the architecture of the AI product.
Access to cutting-edge AI tools and platforms.
A team of professionals specializing in AI.
Positive and friendly atmosphere.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Regional CMO/Vice President of Marketing, Japan who is strategic, hands-on, and deeply experienced in scaling marketing functions to lead the full marketing agenda for one of Xsolla's most important markets. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to set the Japan marketing vision, build the team and capabilities to execute it, and personally drive high-impact programs spanning brand, demand generation, industry events, content, and sales enablement.
Strong strategic and executional leadership, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with experience in B2B marketing leadership within technology, video games, platforms, or high-growth environments. The ability to navigate complex, matrixed stakeholder environments — from local Japan leadership to global HQ — while translating global strategy into locally effective, measurable execution will be key to your success in this role.
If you're passionate about shaping how a company is perceived and positioned within a critical market and love building marketing functions from the ground up while driving enterprise adoption and partner-led growth across Japan's gaming ecosystem, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
Create and drive the Japan marketing strategy end-to-end — brand, demand generation, field marketing, content, customer marketing, developer marketing, and partner marketing — aligned with global priorities and Japan and regional objectives.
Build, lead, and mentor the marketing team in Japan, establishing the structure, capabilities, and operating rhythms needed to scale marketing execution as the business grows.
Build and operate the marketing budget, including planning, allocation, agency/vendor management, and performance measurement and reporting against clear ROI and pipeline metrics.
Partner closely with the Japan Country Manager, GTM/BD leadership, Product Marketing, Comms, Events, and Global HQ marketing to deliver integrated programs that support enterprise adoption, partner growth, and revenue targets.
Translate and localize global B2B narratives, product launches, and brand strategy into Japan-relevant campaigns, executive and customer events, customer proof points, and sales enablement materials.
Serve as the senior Japan voice for marketing internally and externally — bringing market insight, customer and publisher perspective, and local nuance into regional and global leadership discussions, and influencing global strategy where Japan market dynamics diverge.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key Japanese publishers, developers, and industry bodies, elevating Xsolla's visibility and credibility across the Japan gaming ecosystem.
Represent Xsolla at major global, regional and local video game development industry events and forums, and oversee Xsolla's presence, sponsorships, and thought leadership in the local market.
Establish and continuously improve marketing operating rhythms in Japan — planning cycles, event execution, vendor/agency management, and reporting cadence with global and regional stakeholders.
Qualifications
12+ years of marketing experience, including 7+ years in B2B marketing leadership roles, ideally within technology, video games, platforms, or high-growth environments.
Proven track record building and leading a marketing function from the ground up, including team building, budget ownership, and cross-functional program delivery in Japan, regional or similarly complex markets.
Strong understanding of enterprise buying dynamics in Japan and throughout Asia including the role of trust, regulation, partners, executive relationships, and local proof points.
Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels, comfortable setting vision while remaining hands-on in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Experience leading and influencing in a matrixed organization, working closely with Country/GTM leadership, BD, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Comms, Events, and global HQ marketing.
Excellent communicator and executive presence, with business-level (or native-level) Japanese and native-level English proficiency, and strong stakeholder management and influence skills across Japan leadership, regional marketing, and global teams.
Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies, vendors, major industry events, and field/demand generation programs at a country or regional level.
Strong external network and credibility within the Japan gaming, technology, or platform industry.
Nice to Have
Experience in video games, fintech, developer platforms, or other highly technical products.
Familiarity with trust-sensitive enterprise environments and regulated industries.
Prior experience as a CMO, VP Marketing, or country/regional marketing head with full P&L or budget accountability.
Existing relationships with major Japanese game publishers, developers, or industry associations.

About Us & The Team
Til-Qazyna is a national scientific and practical center dedicated to building the core digital and AI infrastructure for the Kazakh language. We develop foundational language resources, linguistic tools, and open-source models, including custom text corpora, morphological analyzers, RAG pipelines, and fine-tuned Large Language Models.
We are looking for an AI Engineer to focus exclusively on natural language processing, corpus engineering, and LLM fine-tuning.
Key Responsibilities
• LLM Adaptation & Fine-Tuning: Fine-tune, evaluate, and benchmark open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral, Qwen, Gemma) for Kazakh language understanding and generation using parameter-efficient methods (LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT).

Requirements
• 1+ years of hands-on experience as NLP / AI / Machine Learning engineer.
• Solid understanding of the Transformer architecture, attention mechanisms, embeddings, and tokenization.
• Experience with core ML/NLP libraries: PyTorch, Hugging Face (transformers, datasets, accelerate, peft), Scikit-learn.
• Experience building data preprocessing pipelines and working with structured/unstructured text data.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Linux, and Git.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics.
Nice to Have
• Hands-on experience with modern LLM serving and optimization engines (vLLM, TGI, llama.cpp, quantization techniques like AWQ/GPTQ).
• Experience with RAG stacks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, ChromaDB, Qdrant, FAISS).
• Understanding of the morphological, agglutinative, or grammatical characteristics of the Kazakh language.
• Familiarity with alignment techniques (DPO, RLHF) or synthetic data generation.
What We Offer
• Direct impact on sovereign AI development and language technology used at scale.
• Official employment in full compliance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Access to high-performance GPU compute clusters for model training and experimentation.

Help Us Build The Future of Travel
At Airalo, we're making it easier for people to stay connected wherever they travel. As the world's first eSIM store, we help millions of travelers access affordable mobile data in 200+ countries and regions around the world.
Today, we're a team of 400+ people across 60+ countries, building a product used by travelers every day. We've grown quickly, but we've worked hard to keep what matters: trust, ownership, and the freedom for people to do great work without unnecessary layers or bureaucracy.
We're fully remote by design, genuinely global, and united by a shared mission to make travel simpler for everyone.
Your Next Destination
Location: Remote.
Contract: Full-time, permanent.
Benefits: Learn more about our benefits here in this link - https://airalo-public.notion.site/Benefits-25396a97ffca81fb9bc1f0be479f1be3?pvs=74
Languages: English is our main working language day to day, so you'll need to be comfortable communicating in it both in meetings and async.
We're looking for a Staff Data Scientist, Pricing to build the analytical and machine learning capability that pricing runs on, from demand modelling through to the systems that recommend price.
You won't be starting from zero. We've invested in the foundational data and infrastructure that pricing decisions depend on. What's missing is the capability on top: models the business trusts, experiments that settle pricing questions with evidence, and economics defined once so they hold consistently across Commercial, Product and the customer experience.
The arc of the role runs from measurement to prediction to prescription - understanding how demand responds to price, forecasting how it will respond, and ultimately building the models that recommend the price itself.
What You'll Do:
Build and own the demand and elasticity modelling capability, quantifying how price affects volume across destination, duration, data tier, and customer segment.
Develop machine learning models for demand forecasting and willingness-to-pay, and take them from exploration through to production with the monitoring and retraining that keeps them honest.
Move us from predictive to prescriptive by building the optimisation layer that turns forecasts and elasticities into recommended prices under margin, competitive and partner constraints.
Design and analyse pricing experiments with statistical rigour, and apply causal methods where clean randomisation isn't possible.
Define pricing within our data ecosystem, owning the governed definitions of price, cost and package economics that reporting, analysis and product surfaces all read from.
Partner with Commercial and Finance to connect pricing decisions to margin and revenue, and to size opportunities before we commit.
Set the analytical standard for pricing at Airalo, from what counts as evidence through to how a model or recommendation gets validated before it influences live pricing.
What You'll Bring:
7+ years in data science, quantitative economics, or applied research, including pricing, monetisation, or marketplace economics work that demonstrably changed decisions.
Experience with dynamic or algorithmic pricing systems in production.
An advanced degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research or similar, or equivalent applied depth in demand estimation and the identification problems that make naive price-quantity regressions wrong.
Hands-on machine learning experience across the full lifecycle, from feature engineering and model selection through to deployment
Familiarity with optimisation and decision-science methods that turn predictions into recommended actions, whether through constrained optimisation, bandits, or reinforcement learning approaches.
Proven experimentation expertise, having designed and defended experiments with a clear view on decision frameworks and common failure modes.
Experience building analytical capability where none existed before, turning raw data and a business question into something a commercial team uses repeatedly.
Strong data modelling instincts, thinking in reusable definitions and single sources of truth rather than standalone analyses.
The ability to move comfortably between financial, product and operational data and connect the analysis to a financial outcome.
Genuine partnership instincts, translating between analytical rigour and commercial reality so that Commercial and Product come to you early rather than after the decision.
Fluency in the Python ML stack alongside strong SQL, with the engineering hygiene to hand over code that others can run and maintain.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to make a methodological argument to people who won't check your standard errors.
A self-starter mindset that thrives in ambiguity and brings structure without waiting for permission.
Comfort using AI tools to augment analytical work, with a point of view on where they help and where they don't
Nice to have:
Experience in marketplace, telecom, travel, or subscription/usage-based businesses.
Bayesian or hierarchical modelling for sparse segments and long-tail SKUs.
Competitive price response modelling, or working with scraped competitor pricing data.
Familiarity with dbt, LightDash, or similar semantic/BI layers.
Experience designing semantic or metric layers consumed by both analytics and production systems.
Experience working in cross-functional teams spanning commercial, finance and product disciplines.
If you are interested in this position, please apply via the link.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to own billing, contract review, and revenue recognition as Baseten scales. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who wants full ownership of the revenue cycle at a company where deal structures are getting more complex: usage-based pricing, committed capacity, credits, multi-year enterprise contracts, and new business models coming online.
You'll join Lauren, who built Baseten's quote-to-cash function from the ground up, to take on billing, contract review, and revenue recognition as deal volume and complexity grow. Having completed our first year-end audit, we're now focused on tightening contract review processes, close procedures, and reporting rigor to support the scale ahead. You'll partner closely with Lauren, FP&A, Sales, Legal, and Revenue Operations to make sure every deal is structured, billed, and recognized correctly from day one.
Baseten is building the infrastructure layer for AI-native companies, and we're scaling quickly - in deal volume, contract complexity, and customer size. If you want real ownership over a growing function on a lean team, this role offers real scope.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Recognition and Technical Accounting
- Own revenue recognition under ASC 606 across all contract types, including usage-based/consumption arrangements, committed capacity deals, credits, multi-year contracts, and new business models
- Serve as the go-to person on rev rec treatment for new deal structures, products, and pricing models
Billing Operations
- Own end-to-end billing: invoice generation, accuracy checks, and dispute resolution
- Identify and automate manual, error-prone steps in the billing-to-cash workflow
- Assist with strengthening our collections efforts and overall process
Contract Review and Deal Support
- Build and maintain a standardized contract review process for Sales and Legal, flagging non-standard terms that affect recognition before deals close
- Partner directly with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Legal as a proactive advisor on deal structuring
Sales and Indirect Tax
- Own the sales and indirect tax process, including reviewing and maintaining our tax automation tool (nexus tracking, exemption certificates, filings), and building the governance around it as we scale into new jurisdictions
Close and Reporting
- Own the revenue-related monthly close: deferred revenue rollforward, unbilled AR, credit memos, and revenue reserves
- Partner with FP&A to reconcile billed vs. recognized revenue and support ARR reporting and forecasting
- Own revenue-related audit deliverables, including technical memos and sample testing support
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years focused specifically on revenue accounting and recognition
- Deep working knowledge of ASC 606, including variable consideration, multiple performance obligations, and usage-based revenue models
- Hands-on experience reviewing and abstracting commercial contracts for accounting treatment
- Experience owning billing operations directly, not just reviewing output from a billing team
- Public company or audit-ready private company experience (Big 4 or industry, with audit exposure)
- Builder mentality with a bias toward execution; comfortable operating on a lean team relative to company scale
- Experience with NetSuite (or comparable ERP) and a modern billing platform
- Based in San Francisco or New York, with the ability to work in-person 3+ days per week
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience at a high-growth, venture-backed infrastructure or cloud company with usage-based or hybrid pricing
- Experience with committed-use/capacity contracts
- Experience overseeing sales and indirect tax compliance through an automated tax tool across multiple jurisdictions
- CPA
- Exposure to SOX controls in a revenue cycle context
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).
