About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
We are looking for a
Technical Project Manager
to own IT infrastructure in Nebius data centers from the moment it is accepted into operations: acceptance of new sites and GPU clusters from the Project team, and delivery of projects and changes in live production environments. You will work with modern GPU clusters — GPU servers, high-speed networking, compute and storage — acting as the link between the Project team,
DC
engineers, vendors and IT Operations.
This role represents IT Operations in those projects, sets the acceptance bar and owns the transition into steady-state operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Acceptance & operational readiness of new sites and clusters
Represent IT Operations in new site and cluster projects from the planning stage: define acceptance criteria and operational readiness requirements upfront, before build starts.
Own the acceptance process: readiness assessments, acceptance testing against agreed criteria, punch lists, operational sign-off. Acceptance is mandatory — no site or cluster moves into operations without it.
Prepare operations for takeover: operational procedures, tooling, documentation, on-site processes, spares and vendor support in place before sign-off.
Manage the transition period from Project team to IT Operations, including defect follow-up and closure of open items after handover.
Operations projects & change management in live DCs
Manage and deliver IT infrastructure projects and change requests in production data centers: hardware deployments and replacements, capacity changes in accepted clusters, network and cabling changes, decommissioning.
Own the change lifecycle for
DC
IT infrastructure: change requests, risk and impact assessment, MOPs, maintenance windows, rollback plans, post-implementation review.
Manage risks and dependencies in live environments; proactively identify technical, operational and process issues and drive them to resolution.
Stakeholders, communication & documentation
Lead communication with all stakeholders: transparent progress reporting, expectation management, escalation of critical blockers, timely decision-making.
Lead project meetings, technical reviews and operational readiness discussions with a focus on clear ownership, actionable outcomes and execution.
Maintain project and operational documentation: acceptance criteria and reports, risk registers, issue logs, operational procedures, handover documentation, deployment reports.
Cross-functional coordination & operational excellence
Coordinate engineering, infrastructure, network, security, procurement, hardware lifecycle and operations teams across acceptance and operational phases.
Work directly with data center engineers, vendors, contractors and operations teams.
Lead operational reviews and planning with internal teams; improve reliability, response times and workflows.
Contribute to automation, process improvements and design support as needed.
We expect you to have:
Proven experience in data center IT infrastructure operations, preferably in high-performance or AI-oriented environments.
Experience accepting IT infrastructure into operations: defining acceptance criteria, running readiness assessments, taking handover from project teams.
Experience running changes in live production environments: change requests, MOPs, maintenance windows, rollback planning.
Solid understanding of data center design and operations: racking, cabling, power planning, cooling considerations.
Hands-on experience with IT hardware in data centers; comfortable on site during live operations.
Experience in project delivery, team coordination and cross-team collaboration.
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot technical and workflow issues across the IT stack.
Ability to document processes, maintain tracking systems and produce clear acceptance, deployment and handover reports.
Strong stakeholder management; clear communication between technical and business teams.
Ownership, drive and follow-through — including the ability to refuse sign-off when criteria are not met.
Ready for regular business trips, including on-site presence during acceptance of new sites and clusters.
It will be
an added bonus
if you have:
Structured project management or delivery frameworks (PRINCE2,
PMI
, Agile).
ITIL
/ formal change management experience.
Relevant technical certifications.
Familiarity with GPU clusters / AI workloads.

What We Do:
Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection.
Huntress now secures more than 6M endpoints and 16M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.

Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.
What You’ll Do:
The Huntress team seeks a Staff Software Engineer to join our SOC Experience team. This team builds the human-analyst side of Huntress’ SOC platform: the investigation and triage experience analysts use to work a case, the remediation actions they take, the queues that route and prioritize incoming work, and the customer-facing reporting that closes the loop with customers. Your contributions will help Huntress improve analyst efficiency, reduce toil, and drive customer outcomes as we scale
protection for the 99%
.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll provide technical leadership across this surface area: shaping architecture and design direction, converting ambiguous requirements into functional workflows and data models, raising the bar on code quality and testing, and mentoring engineers across the team. You’ll partner closely with Product, UX, and SOC stakeholders to turn operational pain points into reliable, auditable systems, and you’ll go deep in the code yourself. This is a full-stack role with real front-end weight: the analyst experiences you’ll build are data-dense, interactive interfaces, and you’ll set the bar for front-end quality as well as the back end.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership across the SOC Experience surface area: investigation and triage experience, remediation actions, queues, and customer-facing reporting.
Lead and develop high-quality software, software designs, and architecture
Design and build analyst-facing interfaces end to end, from data model to browser, and set the standard for front-end quality (usability, performance, accessibility, reusable patterns) in partnership with UX
Set the standard for engineering excellence on the team through code review, test plan review, and hands-on pairing
Lead security-by-design reviews of designs and code
Focus on the full lifecycle of the systems you build, including evolution, configuration, and risk management, not just initial delivery
Share ownership of delivery, reliability, and uptime for the features you build, with observability and test automation built in
Mentor engineers across the team to help them grow into harder problems
Balance technical rigor with pragmatism: push back when a shortcut creates real risk, and push back on over-engineering when the goal is discovery or speed
Partner with Product, UX, and SOC stakeholders to turn operational pain points into reliable, auditable systems
What You Bring To The Team:
10+ years of experience developing complex software products
5+ years of programming in Ruby on Rails
Strong front-end fundamentals (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience building complex interactive UIs with modern component-based frameworks; today’s stack is Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus, but you can reason outside that box
Experience with AWS or other public cloud environments, and Linux-based infrastructure
Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
Experience with AI coding tools, such as Claude Code
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ClickHouse
Experience building cybersecurity products, or building/operating a SOC platforms
Experience with Hotwire, Stimulus, Turbo
What We Offer:
100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
12 weeks of paid parental leave
Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution
Life and Disability insurance plans
Stock options for
all
full-time employees
One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
$75 USD/month digital reimbursement
Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth

For more information, visit xsolla.com.
Why This Role Exists
Xsolla is going all-in on becoming an AI-first company, and we're not waiting for a slow rollout to get there. We're offering AI Engineer Internships in regions across the globe to help drive that shift directly, not by sitting in the back office, but by building.
You'll work on two things:
Internal AI initiatives – helping unlock AI tooling and integrations across Xsolla faster than our existing teams can alone.
Proof-of-concept builds on our own APIs – showing our product and engineering teams what's possible when you build with AI as a core part of your workflow, not an afterthought.
This isn't a shadow-and-observe internship. You'll ship code that goes to customers – internal teams or external players and game developers – working closely with senior engineers and fellow interns across our global regions.
Who You'll Work With
You won't be isolated on an intern-only project island. You'll work closely with senior engineers who are actively rebuilding how we write software, and you'll be part of a global cohort of interns building in parallel across our regions. That combination is the point: senior engineers give you a bar for what production-grade, customer-facing code looks like, and your fellow interns give you a peer group to trade ideas, code, and AI workflows every week.
What You'll Do
Partner and collaborate with senior engineers to identify where AI tooling and integrations can remove friction, and build the fix.
Build applications and integrations on top of Xsolla's APIs and SDKs that show internal teams how to move faster using AI-assisted development.
Ship work that matters. What you build is expected to reach real users – whether that's an internal tool an engineering team adopts or a customer-facing integration – not a throwaway exercise that gets shelved after your internship ends.
Use agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as your default way of working – not a novelty you reach for occasionally.
Share what you build. We run weekly 30-second lightning-talk demos where everyone shows how they used AI to solve something that week – you'll be expected to bring something real.
Work with minimal process. You'll get context, a problem, and a mentor – the rest is on you to figure out and build.
Learn from and collaborate with both directions: senior engineers who'll mentor you on production-grade practices, and fellow interns across markets you'll trade ideas and code with at the weekly demos.
What We're Looking For
You build things because you want to, and that you already use AI to do it faster.
Genuine passion for building.
You have side projects, hackathon entries, open-source contributions, or something you shipped just because you were curious. You didn't need an assignment to make it happen.
Real AI fluency.
You've actually used tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar agentic coding tools to build something – not just asked ChatGPT to explain a concept. You should be able to explain how you used AI to get there and how you confirmed it actually worked – not someone who fires off a prompt and hopes for the best.
Bias toward action.
Given an ambiguous problem, you start building before you ask for a spec.
Comfort with developing modern full-stack solutions
– we care more about how fast you learn than what you already know cold.
Open to current graduate students and recent graduates of a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program
.
How to Apply
Please include:
A link to a GitHub profile, deployed project, or anything else you've built – the more recent and self-directed, the better.
A short answer (2-3 sentences, or a 2-minute video/Loom if you'd rather show than tell) to:
“What's something hard you built recently, and why did you build it?”
We're not grading for correctness or polish. We're looking for whether you have a real answer, and whether it's clear you actually did the work yourself (with AI as your tool, not your ghostwriter).
Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:
Xsolla is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE TEAM
Mistral is building a sovereign AI cloud for Europe. Our customers in finance, healthcare, and the public sector run frontier models on European-jurisdiction infrastructure, and the Cloud Platform team builds the systems that make that possible — compute orchestration, Kubernetes, bare metal, storage, networking, and the datacenter fleet that runs it all.
European Compute Units let enterprises commit to multi-year capacity on that infrastructure, and we are scaling toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe by 2030. You will design and ship the layer every sovereign AI deployment depends on and shape the team building it.
THE ROLE
A datacenter is not a cloud until software makes it one. You will lead the team that turns arriving hardware into accepted clusters.
Cabling validation, burn-in, firmware, deployment validation, software stack install — all of it automated, none of it click-ops. Your KPI is time to acceptance: the hours between a rack being physically installed and it serving customer workloads. Across the industry that number is measured in weeks. You will drive it toward days, then hours, as we scale toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe.
This is a founding leadership role at the intersection of hardware and software. Early on it is deliberately hands-on: most of your time in the code and the architecture, some of it on datacenter floors, because the automation has to survive contact with the machines it runs on.
But the job is building and leading a team from day one — hiring your first engineers, coaching them, setting their growth paths, and running the rituals that keep quality high. As the team grows, the balance shifts toward people leadership, and you decide how fast. You shape this new team's charter and set the standard for how every future Mistral datacenter comes online.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build the delivery pipeline in Go: provisioning, configuration, validation, burn-in, network bring-up, software stack install.
- Build the team from scratch: make the first hires, onboard and coach them, own their performance and growth paths — and set the tooling standards and the playbook every future site reuses.
- Own time-to-acceptance and drive it down relentlessly — measure it, break it down, kill the slowest step first.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Hardware Design and Fleet Health — reliability starts at delivery.
- Handle GPU fleets at scale: H100 and GB200-class nodes, InfiniBand and RoCE fabrics, and the failure modes they bring.
- Partner with Product Managers and the datacenter org to plan delivery waves against capacity commitments.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You have automated bare-metal fleets — you have written the software that turns racks into clusters. If you have done it by hand, you resented it and scripted it.
- Hardware fluency: servers, GPUs, NICs, switches, firmware — you can read a parts list and a topology diagram.
- 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems, with at least 2 years leading engineers — real people leadership: you have hired, coached, and grown engineers, not just set technical direction.
- Deep Linux: you are comfortable well below the application layer.
- You have shipped production systems in Go. Not dabbled. Shipped.
- Willing to travel to datacenter sites when the work demands it.
- A low-ego, team-first mindset. We care less about your exact domain and more about whether you are the kind of technical force other engineers want to work alongside.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

We run it all on our own metal, our own network, our own datacenters — which means when something breaks, the fix is ours to write.
European Compute Units let enterprises commit to multi-year capacity on that infrastructure, and we are scaling toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe by 2030. You will design and ship the layer every sovereign AI deployment depends on and shape the team building it.
THE ROLE
This is a founding people-leadership role. There is no team to inherit and no legacy to maintain — you build the team as well as the stack, and you are accountable for both from day one. Early on you will be deliberately hands-on, because there is no one else to solve the hardest problems — but hiring your first engineers, coaching them, and setting their growth paths starts immediately, not later.
You will be the founding EM for storage on our Sovereign AI cloud.
Block, filesystem, and object storage for training runs, sandboxed workloads, and general compute: you decide what we build, what we buy, and how it adds up to storage our customers can bet a business on. Some layers we deploy and harden from best-in-class vendors. The ones that matter most we write ourselves in Go — S3-compatible object storage, tiering, backup and recovery, caching layers that put cold data on cheap spinning disks.
As the team grows, the balance shifts toward people leadership, and you decide how fast. You will own capacity planning across datacenters and the architecture that keeps data durable when disks, networks, and entire sites fail. Storage is a strategic bet for this org: the team you build and the calls you make will define how a gigawatt of European compute stores its data.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Stand up the storage stack — block, file, object — for training, sandbox, and general compute workloads.
- Make the build-vs-buy calls: deploy and harden vendor platforms where they win; design and write our own services in Go where they don't.
- Own the data plane: allocation, duplication, tiering, backup and recovery, S3-compatible APIs.
- Plan capacity across datacenters and across failure domains — petabytes, not terabytes.
- Build the team from zero: make the first hires, onboard and coach them, own performance and growth paths, and set the standard for ownership.
- Partner with Product Managers to shape the storage roadmap and make the technical and business tradeoffs.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of real people leadership. You have managed engineers — hired, coached, given honest feedback, and grown them. Hands-on contribution matters here, but this role is judged on the team you build and lead, not just the code you write.
- You have built storage systems — object, block, or distributed filesystems — not just operated them. You know what happens when a disk dies mid-write and when a rebalance collides with a backup window.
- Deep distributed-systems fundamentals: durability, consistency, replication, erasure coding, failure domains.
- You have shipped production systems in Go. Systems engineers coming from C++ or Rust who are ready to write Go daily should still talk to us.
- You are comfortable with hardware reality: HDD, SSD, and NVMe tiers, and the economics of each.
- 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
- You have partnered with product, design, and business teams to ship software that reached real users.

European Compute Units let enterprises commit to multi-year capacity on that infrastructure, and we are scaling toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe by 2030. You will design and ship the layer every sovereign AI deployment depends on and shape the team building it.
THE ROLE
Agents don't run in browsers. They run in sandboxes — and you will lead the team building ours.
You will manage the team — hiring, coaching, performance, growth paths, honest feedback — while staying close to the code: roughly half your time in architecture decisions and the hardest technical problems the team faces, the other half leading your squad.
We build secure, isolated, network-controlled environments with snapshotting primitives, designed for AI agents and reinforcement-learning workloads. An RL training run doesn't need one environment; it needs thousands, created and destroyed every second. An agent needs to be sandboxed from the world while still feeling fast enough to be useful. That tension — airtight isolation, at fleet scale, at low latency — is the product.
Your customers are the people building the next generation of AI software on our infrastructure; the primitives you ship become the runtime their agents live in.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build the isolation layer: microVMs or containers, namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, snapshot and restore.
- Own the security boundary. Customers run code they didn't write and can't fully trust — your systems make that safe.
- Scale to fleets: creation latency, density, and lifecycle management for thousands of concurrent environments.
- Design and build alongside your team, owning the architecture and the hardest implementation decisions.
- Grow the engineers, not just the software — set the standard for ownership and coach people past their comfort zone.
- Own people management for the team: hiring, performance, growth paths, and honest feedback.
- Partner with Product Managers to turn frontier research needs into shippable primitives.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of real people leadership. You have managed engineers — hired, coached, given honest feedback, and grown them. Hands-on contribution matters here, but this role is judged on the team you build and lead, not just the code you write.
- Deep Linux internals: namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, virtualization — ideally microVMs of the Firecracker class.
- You have shipped production systems in Go. Not dabbled. Shipped.
- You understand network isolation at the packet level — not just firewall rules.
- Performance instincts: you know what a syscall costs, and you have the profiles to prove you've cared.
- 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
- You have partnered with product, design, and business teams to ship software that reached real users.
- A low-ego, team-first mindset. We care less about your exact domain and more about whether you are the kind of technical force other engineers want to work alongside.

Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
The Inference Foundation team owns the core of Mistral's inference stack: the inference engine and its orchestration, from the feature set and configuration that serve our models in production to the release machinery that keeps the stack current and production-grade.
This is a hybrid position spanning production LLM serving, engine and platform development, and capacity engineering. You will work on three intertwined problems:
1. Optimize the inference stack at scale — feature development and fixes in the engine and orchestrator, squeezing more throughput and lower latency out of every GPU under strict quality-of-service targets.
2. Make capacity elastic — scaling up and down should be cheap and fast, not a performance cliff.
3. Power the training of our frontier models — high-performance serving that keeps RL and post-training loops running at full speed.
What You Will Do
INFERENCE ENGINE & ORCHESTRATION
- Develop and fix the core of the inference stack — engine and orchestrator — including feature selection, configuration, and tuning for maximum performance at scale
- Own the release process for the serving stack: validated, regression-free releases through automated performance gates and progressive rollout
- Drive improvements and fixes upstream when the open-source engine is the right place for them
PERFORMANCE & CAPACITY AT SCALE
- Optimize serving efficiency across the fleet — driving down pod startup time, tackling cold-cache regressions on scale-up, smarter caching and offloading
- Optimize and maintain the optimal serving topology — overlap communication and transfers with computation, ensure optimal placement, connectivity, and routing
SERVING FOR FRONTIER TRAINING
- Build the serving infrastructure that powers RL and post-training for our frontier models
- Optimize inference performance across the full spectrum of our workloads
What We're Looking For
- Experience building and running ML/LLM services at scale, with clear latency and availability targets
- Hands-on experience with inference engines such as vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, or others
- A solid grasp of inference internals: prefill vs. decode, KV-cache behavior, batching, scheduling, speculative decoding, parallelism strategies
- Familiarity with distributed and disaggregated serving architectures
- Comfortable debugging across the full stack — CUDA/NCCL, kernels, containers, networking, storage
- Python for systems tooling and backend services; PyTorch
- Kubernetes for running infrastructure at scale
- GPU and networking fundamentals: CUDA runtime, NCCL, InfiniBand/RDMA
It Would Be Great If You Have
- Demonstrated vLLM/sglang know-how — upstream contributions, or a track record of running in demanding production environments
- Hardware-aware optimization for various model architectures
- Experience serving MoE models at scale (expert parallelism, expert placement/load balancing)
- CUDA/Triton kernel development; Nsight Systems/Compute profiling
- Rust and/or C++ in production systems

THE MISSION
You will be the reference point for the most complex hardware interventions across our sites.
Mistral's compute is our largest investment and the foundation of frontier AI in Europe. As a Senior Data Center Hardware Engineer, you own the interventions that require the highest level of technical expertise: multi-node failures in production, full-rack deployments of GPU-dense systems, and vendor escalations where you speak as the technical authority for our sites.
You'll work end-to-end — compute, storage, interconnect, power and cooling interfaces — across our data center footprint, raising the bar on reliability as our capacity grows. This is a hands-on senior IC role: deep technical leadership and mentorship, no direct line management.
Location: Based at one of our data centers in the Paris region, with occasional visits to our other sites as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead complex interventions — vendor-level and multi-node operations in production: full rack builds and bring-up, GPU-dense platform deployment (H100/H200-class and next-gen, including liquid-cooled racks), intricate recabling, post-restart diagnosis. You own the plan, the risk assessment, and the rollback.
- Own vendor management — coordinate repairs, part replacements and escalations directly with hardware vendors; hold them to their SLAs; drive proactive fixes from failure trends.
- Diagnose at depth — correlate symptoms across compute, storage, interconnect and cooling; read BMC/IPMI consoles, OS logs and crash dumps; methodical root-cause analysis that ends in concrete corrective actions.
- Deploy and validate — structured bring-up and validation of new racks and platforms; work with networking and infrastructure teams to take installations from delivery to production-ready.
- Lift the team — mentor and pair with L1–L3 engineers on live operations; turn your knowledge into SOPs, checklists and training material; propose and build small automation (Python/Bash) to shorten MTTR.
- Work the facility interface — partner with critical facilities/engineering ops on power, cooling (air and liquid), PDU and monitoring (BMS/EPMS) boundaries; enforce ESD/LOTO/PPE and audit-ready change discipline everywhere.
- Own spares & reliability — plan spares strategy, track fleet failure trends, and run proactive vendor actions before incidents happen.
ABOUT YOU
- 6+ years in data center / server hardware or L2/L3 hardware support, including complex hands-on work in production environments (HPC/AI/cloud at scale strongly preferred).

The role
We are seeking a
Critical Infrastructure Engineer
to help ensure the availability, resilience, and operational readiness of the critical systems supporting Nebius data center IT infrastructure.
The primary objective of this role is
uptime
.
You will provide technical oversight across the electrical and mechanical infrastructure responsible for delivering reliable power and cooling to our GPU and IT environments. Rather than serving primarily as a maintenance technician, you will verify that critical infrastructure is operated safely, consistently, and in accordance with established SLAs, engineering standards, change-control procedures, and operational best practices.
You will also act as an important bridge between IT infrastructure teams and electrical/mechanical specialists. The ideal candidate understands how servers, networking equipment, racks, and GPU systems operate inside a data center while also having enough exposure to critical facilities systems to understand—and challenge when necessary—the infrastructure supporting them.
The position combines technical analysis, provider governance, change management, incident response, and hands-on familiarity with data center IT environments.
You will work
onsite
in our
Minnesota
data center location.
Your responsibilities will include:
Critical Infrastructure & Uptime
Help ensure the availability and operational readiness of the electrical and mechanical infrastructure supporting production data halls and high-density GPU environments.
Monitor critical infrastructure performance against contractual SLAs, operational requirements, and established reliability standards.
Develop a strong understanding of the complete power and cooling path supporting IT equipment and identify conditions that could introduce operational risk.
Review infrastructure capacity, redundancy, and operating conditions to ensure the environment can reliably support current and planned compute deployments.
Identify infrastructure risks and work with service providers and internal teams to drive corrective actions before they impact production.
Support infrastructure planning for data center expansions, capacity increases, and new GPU deployments.
Power & Electrical Infrastructure
Provide technical oversight of data center electrical infrastructure, including generator plants, automatic transfer switches (ATS), UPS systems, battery banks, switchgear, breakers, busbars, bus plugs, PDUs, and related power distribution equipment.
Understand electrical distribution from facility-level infrastructure through rack-level delivery and IT equipment.
Participate in technical reviews involving power capacity, electrical distribution, equipment sizing, redundancy, and infrastructure design.
Work with electrical engineers and infrastructure providers to evaluate proposed changes and ensure appropriate engineering validation is completed before production implementation.
Cooling & Mechanical Infrastructure
Understand the cooling architecture supporting high-density GPU and IT environments, including water and glycol loops, rear-door heat exchangers (RDHx), evaporative systems, coolant distribution systems, facility water systems, dry coolers, and chillers.
Evaluate how cooling infrastructure interacts with GPU systems and high-density racks to maintain required operating conditions.
Partner with mechanical engineers and service providers to review system performance, capacity constraints, and proposed infrastructure changes.
Identify potential thermal or cooling risks that could affect compute availability or future capacity.
Provider Governance & Change Control
Provide technical oversight of third-party critical infrastructure and colocation service providers.
Ensure provider activities comply with Nebius policies, approved procedures, contractual SLAs, and operational requirements.
Review and approve change requests involving critical infrastructure supporting production environments.
Challenge incomplete or high-risk work plans and ensure appropriate testing, rollback procedures, risk analysis, and stakeholder communication are in place before work begins.
Maintain strong governance around maintenance and infrastructure changes that could affect production availability.
Hold service providers accountable for corrective actions, operational performance, and agreed service levels.
Incident Response & Operational Risk
Participate in critical infrastructure incidents and coordinate technical response with providers, Data Center IT, networking, and engineering teams.
Support root-cause analysis following power, cooling, or infrastructure-related incidents.
Review incident findings and ensure corrective and preventive actions are documented, assigned, and completed.
Help develop and continuously improve emergency response procedures, escalation paths, change-control standards, and operational documentation.
Identify recurring infrastructure risks and drive improvements that increase reliability and reduce the likelihood of customer impact.
IT & Critical Infrastructure Integration
Work closely with Data Center IT teams to understand how critical infrastructure conditions affect servers, networking equipment, GPU clusters, and other production systems.
Apply practical knowledge of data center IT operations, including racks, servers, fiber, cabling, network equipment, and hardware deployment.
Support cross-functional troubleshooting where the root cause may span IT equipment and facility infrastructure.
Help create stronger operational alignment between IT infrastructure and electrical/mechanical teams.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
Translate complex infrastructure conditions, incidents, risks, and provider performance into clear information for technical and business leadership.
Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and operational analyses related to uptime, infrastructure performance, capacity, incidents, and service-provider performance.
Participate in technical and leadership meetings as a subject-matter resource for data center critical infrastructure.
Use operational data to identify trends, communicate risk, and drive measurable improvements in reliability and provider performance.
We expect you to have:
Experience working in data center, cloud infrastructure, colocation, critical facilities, or other mission-critical environments.
Practical understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, racks, networking equipment, structured cabling, and fiber.
Working knowledge of data center electrical infrastructure such as UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs, batteries, breakers, and power distribution.
Exposure to data center mechanical and cooling systems, including chilled-water, glycol, liquid-cooling, or comparable thermal-management environments.
Ability to understand how electrical and mechanical infrastructure directly impacts IT equipment availability and performance.
Experience participating in infrastructure change management, incident response, operational risk management, or maintenance governance.
Ability to review technical plans, ask detailed engineering questions, identify risk, and work effectively with electrical and mechanical subject-matter experts.
Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel for reporting, data analysis, and operational metrics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, vendors, service providers, and senior leadership.
A proactive, ownership-driven approach with the ability to operate effectively in a high-availability production environment.
Nice to have:
Experience supporting high-density GPU, AI, HPC, or hyperscale data center environments.
Experience with direct-to-chip liquid cooling or other advanced cooling technologies used for high-density compute.
Experience managing colocation or third-party critical infrastructure providers against contractual SLAs.
Familiarity with Tier III data center environments and high-availability infrastructure principles.
Experience developing or implementing change-management, incident-response, or emergency-response procedures.
Experience supporting infrastructure capacity planning, expansion projects, or new data center deployments.
Relevant electrical, mechanical, data center, or critical facilities certifications.
