Localization Project Manager
based in Europe to support its game and cross-functional localization programs across European markets. This role will provide dedicated project management support to Localization Program Manager and, over time, independently manage a defined set of localization projects from intake through delivery. Text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, and LQA will be performed by an external localization vendor; this role is responsible for managing that vendor rather than executing the localization work directly.
The ideal contractor has hands-on localization project management experience, strong communication and tracking skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple localization workflows across games, marketing assets, vendors, linguists, and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Manage the external localization vendor responsible for text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, and LQA, including tracking progress, coordinating handoffs, maintaining schedules, and following up on open items.
Assist Localization Program Manager with localization project planning, execution, and status reporting.
Gradually take ownership of approximately 10 to 20 localization projects end-to-end under Nex’s localization structure and process.
Manage localization requests from teams across Nex—including Marketing, Packaging, PlayOS, and other functions—including intake, prioritization, scheduling, stakeholder communication, handoffs, and delivery tracking.
Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation in Notion and other agreed systems.
Track project schedules, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and outstanding action items.
Serve as the primary operational contact between internal teams and the external localization vendor, coordinating requirements, deliverables, reviews, feedback, and issue resolution.
Work closely with the vendor to improve localization quality by setting quality expectations, reviewing feedback and LQA findings, identifying recurring issues, and driving corrective actions and process improvements.
Prepare weekly status reports summarizing progress, risks, blockers, and next steps.
Maintain a localization request log and timesheet for approved hours.
Escalate timeline, quality, scope, or dependency risks in a timely manner.
Deliverables
Weekly localization status report
Project schedule tracking
Risk and blocker list
Cross-functional localization request log
Approved timesheet
Other project tracking documents as reasonably requested
What You Bring
Experience managing localization projects, ideally for games, entertainment, software, or digital products.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with localization workflows, including text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, review, LQA, handoffs, and delivery management.
Experience managing localization vendors, including schedules, deliverables, quality expectations, feedback, and escalations.
Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
Comfortable using Notion, Slack, spreadsheets, and localization platforms or project management tools.
Detail-oriented approach to schedules, deliverables, file tracking, and stakeholder follow-up.
Fluency in English plus German, French, Spanish, or Italian is preferred.
Candidates should be based in Germany, France, Spain, or Italy and be familiar with European localization workflows and market requirements.
Reporting / Point of contact
This role will report to and coordinate primarily with Localization Program Manager, who will provide overall localization direction, priorities, and process guidance. The hiring manager will be based in Japan.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.

You are expected to make this experience pleasant, instructive and delightful by leveraging the most relevant messaging and materials (Smart) and by defining the high-touch strategy that suits best each prospect (Soft).
We also expect you to look at the big picture and help us grow and improve as a company. For that, you’ll have to be real team players even beyond your role. You’ll be expected to challenge us to improve our product(s), our methods and our strategy, and get involved in other projects and initiatives relevant to growing our customer base.

Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🤖 WHO WE ARE
Alan Clinic. A health companion and a digital clinic for everyone.
We're a small team within Alan, on a mission to redefine the future of care by democratizing access to medical expertise. The Clinic is two crews building one experience:
- Mo. An intelligent, empathetic, multimodal LLM-based conversational AI assistant able to prescribe, triage, and proactively follow up on care. We kicked off in 2023 and launched Mo to all our French members (1M) in Q1 2026, making it the first safe AI health companion live at scale in Europe.
- Clinic Platform. The medical services behind the conversation: chat with health practitioners, teleconsultation, and care programs across primary care, mental health, and physiotherapy.
Imagine giving every person in the world instant, 24/7 access to personalised medical expertise (through chat, voice, or video) with AI agents working in tandem with real doctors and the health system. That's what we are building 🤖🏥.
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL BUILD AND WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
We're building a medical experience that works reliably, safely, and at scale. An AI agent, and the clinic behind it. You'll lead the engineering team and you'll keep building alongside them.
The crews work at the intersection of product engineering, ML engineering, and medical expertise. As their engineering leader, you own:
- 💬 The team behind the most memorable chatting experience. Hiring, onboarding, honest feedback, and the mix of skills Mo needs as it grows. Talent density is yours to own.
- ➕ The architecture for Mo's next chapters. More context, new skills, new countries. You guide the calls on our architecture and agentic framework, and you stay close enough to the code to make them well.
- 🏥 The platform that turns conversations into care. Chat with health practitioners, teleconsultation at national scale, and the tooling doctors and therapists use every day. You drive alignment with the crews and medical teams on the other side, so members get from words to actions.
- 🛡️ Operational excellence. Mo and teleconsultation are real-time services that have to be live 24/7. Latency, error rates, incident response, and an on-call rotation that doesn't burn people out.
If you're excited by the idea of building the future of healthcare, this is the team for you. We're at the start of the journey. If you're curious, here https://arxiv.org/abs/2411.12808 is a paper we published recently.
⚡ WHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL
- Dual impact: Shape both technical excellence and team growth - your engineers become better while building better products
- Leadership growth: Influence engineering culture, mentor future leaders, and drive technical strategy that shapes the future of healthcare delivery
- Startup speed, Alan's platform. Mo operates with the focus of a startup, on top of Alan's infrastructure, distribution, and health expertise. Small team, huge reach.
- Stakes that make the work matter. In medical AI, reliability and safety are the product. Every call you make on quality, architecture, and evaluation is a call about our members' health.
🔍 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an engineering leader who gets excited about building state-of-the-art AI systems and applying them to real-world, high-stakes problems in healthcare.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years leading engineering teams, with a track record of building high performers.
- You partner with other product functions as a true equal: you shape the roadmap, name trade-offs honestly, and help the team commit to what it can actually deliver.
TECHNICAL FOUNDATIONS
- Experience establishing engineering excellence standards, with the ability to guide architectural decisions.
- First-hand experience shipping AI or LLM products to production is a big plus.
- You're excited and eager to keep writing code. You still review it, and you still ship some yourself.
- Comfortable with modern development practices and AI-assisted development tools.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Curious, self-starting, humble, collaborative, and eager to grow.
- You develop people as much as you develop products.
- Ex-founders are typically a great fit in our team.
MISSION ALIGNMENT
- Healthcare technology and innovation excite you
- You understand that great engineering teams are built on psychological safety and continuous learning
But above all, we are looking for high potential and curiosity: make sure to show us this when you apply!
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!
