Your Role:
Solve some of the team’s toughest technical problems and build solutions that hold up as the product grows.
Partner with product managers, architects, and other engineers on technical approach and planning, contributing perspectives that can extend beyond your immediate area when it’s useful.
Act as a go-to technical resource for complex design and architecture questions, helping ensure solutions hold up against business needs, compliance standards, and long-term maintainability.
Take ownership of the most complex technical issues that come up in your systems, driving root cause analysis and fixes that hold up over time.
Mentor other engineers through code review, design discussions, and everyday guidance, helping raise the technical bar around you.
Bring a high bar to your own code and design work, and help others do the same through thoughtful review and knowledge sharing.
Your Opportunity:
Take deep ownership of significant, technically demanding components, and help evolve core infrastructure so it stays reliable and scalable as the product grows.
Work with a high degree of independence on complex technical initiatives - some of which may touch multiple systems or teams - from design through delivery.
Help shape automation, testing, and deployment practices that raise the bar for reliability and velocity.
Own complex projects from design through delivery, and contribute meaningfully to the thinking behind them - including, at times, decisions that touch the product itself, not just the implementation.
What You'll Need:
BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution, or an exceptional track record in server-side development with advanced technical expertise.
8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a demonstrated ability to take on complex, ambiguous problems independently and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
Deep expertise in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, Go, Python, with an ability to adapt to new technologies as needed.
Extensive experience building highly scalable, distributed systems, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and cloud-native development.
Demonstrated success designing and deploying services at scale on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong technical judgment, with experience mentoring other engineers and weighing in on decisions that shape the product’s direction.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably under tight deadlines.
If you’ve reached this point, and you’re still not sure if you should apply…..Just do it! We’re human and we don’t fit a perfect mold. Having diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, that’s a good thing! If you’re coming from outside of the cyber industry - great! If you’re looking to try something new - awesome! All we ask is you bring passion to all that you do, crave creativity and innovation, and embrace the hard work of gaining new skills and accepting big challenges.

Who We Are
At OKX, we believe crypto will help reshape the future and contribute to greater individual freedom.
OKX is a leading crypto exchange and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions of customers access to crypto trading and decentralised applications. OKX is also trusted by institutions seeking secure access to crypto markets and is supported by its Proof of Reserves programme.
Across our global offices, we are united by three core principles: We Before Me, Do the Right Thing, and Get Things Done. These values shape how we work and help us create a collaborative, rewarding and diverse environment for every OK-er.
About the Team
The Compliance function is responsible for promoting a strong compliance culture and supporting the safe, sustainable growth of OKX. We are a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on regulatory obligations, conduct expectations and enterprise risks.
OKX Europe Markets Limited operates within a significant EU regulatory perimeter as a MiFID II investment firm authorised under the Investment Services Act (Cap. 370), providing dealing on own account and execution of orders on behalf of clients on a matched-principal basis, together with trustee, custodian and nominee services, across the EEA on a cross-border services passport. Our product range includes crypto-asset perpetuals and expiry futures, single stock and ETF-linked futures, commodity futures and crypto-asset options, and is expanding into money market fund and structured product offerings.
About the Opportunity
As the Senior Compliance Analyst for OKX Europe Markets Limited, you will deliver the day-to-day operational compliance work of a fast-growing MiFID II investment firm: financial promotions review, complaints administration, regulatory and trade reporting support, monitoring testing and the firm's regulatory registers.
This is a high-volume, execution-focused role. The function reviews in the order of seventeen pieces of marketing and promotional material each week and handles around five new complaints each week, both scaling with a client base that is growing towards 100,000 users, alongside recurring regulatory reporting, token-listing and licence-extension assessments and compliance monitoring testing. You will be the person who keeps that machinery running accurately and on time.
You will gain broad exposure to MFSA supervision and EU financial services regulation, and direct visibility of how a MiFID II derivatives business is controlled in practice.
The position reports to the Deputy Head of Compliance, with a secondary reporting line to the Head of Compliance and MLRO, OKX Europe Markets Limited.
What You'll Be Doing
You will:
Review client-facing marketing material and financial promotions for compliance with MiFID II fair, clear and not misleading standards and the MFSA advertisement rules, across paid and organic social, email, landing pages, banners, push notifications, video and KOL briefs, and prepare them for approval by the Deputy Head of Compliance or the Head of Compliance.
Maintain the advertisement and marketing approval register, tracking each item from submission through amendment to approval, and supporting notifications to the MFSA where required.
Administer the end-to-end complaints process: logging and triage, investigation, preparation of customer responses within regulatory deadlines, remediation follow-up and escalation of significant or recurring issues to the Deputy Head of Compliance.
Produce complaints management information, root-cause and trend analysis to support the function's reporting to senior management, the Risk, Compliance and Audit Committee and the Board.
Support trade and transaction reporting obligations, including data collection and validation, regulatory return preparation, review and sign-off coordination, submission and evidence retention.
Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc testing under the Compliance Monitoring Programme, document findings, track remediation actions to closure and maintain the monitoring calendar.
Prepare token-listing and licence-extension assessments and supporting documentation for review, and support new product and feature compliance reviews and local launch sign-off.
Maintain the firm's core regulatory registers — regulatory correspondence, breaches, advertisements and the regulatory obligation register — ensuring an accurate, audit-ready flow of information to the MFSA and internal stakeholders.
Draft and update compliance policies, procedures and entity-specific addenda for review and approval, in line with regulatory developments.
Support regulatory-change horizon scanning, recording applicable changes against the obligation register and flagging implementation requirements.
Handle first-line queries on compliance and AML/CFT matters, escalating appropriately, and support responses to legal, regulatory and law-enforcement requests.
Support the retained AML/CFT work of the entity, including quality assurance sampling, high-risk onboarding and client-classification approvals, and internal and external audit support.
Support the preparation of compliance reports and Board and committee materials, and other materials required by internal stakeholders.
Work closely with teams such as Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product and Risk to embed an effective compliance framework aligned with MFSA and EU standards.
What We Look For in You
Prior experience in a compliance, legal, regulatory or regulatory-operations role within financial services, investment firms, fintech or the crypto-asset sector.
Sound understanding of the MFSA regulatory framework, MiFID II conduct-of-business requirements and EU financial services regulation.
Demonstrable ability to handle a high, recurring caseload to deadline without loss of quality, and to prioritise between competing regulatory deadlines.
High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate, complete and audit-ready records and registers.
Strong analytical ability, with the capacity to assess regulatory obligations against material or a process, identify gaps and produce well-reasoned written analysis.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey compliance requirements to non-specialist colleagues and to draft customer-facing responses.
Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and meet regulatory deadlines.
Comfortable operating with limited supervision, exercising judgement within a defined framework and escalating appropriately.
A bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Professional fluency in English.
Nice to Have
Experience reviewing or approving financial promotions or marketing material in a regulated firm.
Experience administering a regulated complaints process.
Experience with trade or transaction reporting, or with compliance monitoring and control testing.
Experience working in Malta or with the Malta Financial Services Authority.
Familiarity with derivatives conduct topics such as leverage and margin, appropriateness and suitability, client categorisation and best execution.
A relevant professional qualification from the International Compliance Association, ACAMS or an equivalent body, or progress towards one.
Knowledge of and genuine enthusiasm for the crypto and digital-assets industry.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package.
Learning and development programmes and an education subsidy.
Team-building programmes and company events.
Wellness and meal allowances.
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants.
Additional benefits that we would be pleased to discuss during the recruitment process.

Our Client's Digital Finance IT is building an AI-enablement layer on top of our enterprise data platform to enable business users across Finance to interact with governed data in natural language. We're hiring a
Data Enablement Engineer
to design, build, and operate the trusted datasets, semantic models, and embedded AI experiences that make this possible.
This is a
data platform engineering role
, not a data science or model-building role. You will spend your time engineering the data foundation that makes AI reliable — semantic layers, governed data products, and embedded natural-language analytics — not training models.
What You'll Do
Design and build
AI-ready data products
on Databricks — trusted datasets with well-defined business semantics, KPIs, hierarchies, and business glossary alignment
Implement
semantic layers
and governed datasets that support both traditional BI consumption and natural-language querying by business users
Deploy and operate
Databricks Genie spaces
with Unity Catalog, tuning them for accuracy, adoption, and business relevance
Build
RAG pipelines and conversational analytics applications
grounded in governed enterprise data — including Streamlit or Databricks Apps that let business users query data without writing SQL
Engineer robust ETL/ELT pipelines (dbt, Airflow, Snowpark, PySpark) that produce and maintain the trusted data these AI experiences depend on
Implement
data governance
— RBAC, row/column-level security, masking, lineage, auditability, catalog and metadata management — in a regulated pharma environment
Optimize
cost and performance
on both the data platform side (warehouse sizing, cluster tuning, query optimization) and the AI side (token usage, caching, model routing)
Partner with Finance business stakeholders to translate domain requirements into semantic models and governed data products they can trust
Requirements
Must-Have Experience
5+ years hands-on data engineering
on cloud data platforms — Databricks demonstrated in real project delivery, not skill-list-only
Direct hands-on experience with Databricks Genie
— you have built, configured, and tuned these in production or advanced pilots, with specific reference to the flavors used (Cortex Analyst / Search / Agents / LLM Functions, or Genie spaces with semantic models)
Semantic layer / trusted data product delivery
— you have built governed datasets that business users can rely on, with KPI definitions, hierarchies, and business glossary alignment
dbt, PySpark, Snowpark, SQL, Python
— strong across the modern data stack
Orchestration
with Airflow, Databricks Workflows, or equivalent
Data governance in regulated environments
— RBAC, RLS, masking, lineage, auditability
Experience integrating
structured and unstructured data
(PDFs, SharePoint/Teams content, enterprise knowledge sources) into AI-enablement workflows
Nice to Have
Pharma, life sciences, or regulated financial services domain experience
Veeva CRM, IQVIA, SAP, or clinical data source integration
Streamlit or Databricks Apps for business-facing analytics
Databricks Data Engineer Professional certification
LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent RAG frameworks
Cost optimization on both compute (warehouse/cluster) and LLM (tokens/caching/routing) dimensions
What We're NOT Looking For
Data Scientists
— this role is not model training, fine-tuning, LoRA/RLHF, or ML research
Pure Data Engineers
who list Cortex or Genie as a skill but haven't shipped it in production
AI/GenAI engineers
whose center of gravity is LangChain agents or RAG-over-documents, without a strong governed data platform foundation
Computer vision, NLP model builders, or multi-agent orchestration specialists
— wrong shape for this role

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
Tavily, part of Nebius, is the web access layer for AI agents. Over two million developers use us, and our customers include Fortune 500 companies running agents in production.
You will own our enterprise product: the roadmap for what large customers need, and the control plane that makes it possible. These are the capabilities that decide whether a large customer can adopt us, trust us, and expand with us.
Our product is an API, and our enterprise buyer is an engineering organization. The people you build for are platform teams, architects, and the developers inside those companies who are putting agents into production. You need to be comfortable making product decisions about API surfaces, developer workflows, and technical tradeoffs, not only about business requirements.
To build this well, you have to be in the room. You will work alongside customer success, sales, and our forward-deployed engineers, who are in these accounts every week and already know where we fall short, and you will spend real time with customers alongside them. Delivery and implementation stay with forward-deployed engineering and go-to-market. Your job is to turn what you learn into product.
The hard part is judgment. Knowing which request is one account's edge case, and which one is the thing every enterprise customer will ask for six months from now. Getting that right is the difference between a platform and a pile of custom work.
In your first year, we expect you to own a clear enterprise roadmap, ship the controls that block deals today, and become the person the go-to-market team comes to before a deal gets stuck.
This is a hands-on senior IC role with real ownership, reporting to the Director of Product. The product team is small, so you will work directly with the engineers building your roadmap and with the go-to-market teams selling it.
Your responsibilities will include
Own the enterprise roadmap: what we build for large customers, in what order, and why.
Own the platform behind it: organizations and identity, keys and quotas, spend controls, usage observability and audit, policy enforcement, and data residency.
Make product decisions on our API surface for enterprise use, so that the developers inside those accounts can build on us without friction.
Work with customer success, sales, and forward-deployed engineering to understand what enterprise customers need, and spend time in accounts alongside them to see it first hand.
Tell the difference between a single-account request and a pattern worth building for, and be able to defend the call either way.
Hand off what belongs to another product area, with the evidence that makes it actionable.
Give sales and marketing the positioning, materials, and product understanding they need to sell a technical product well.
Represent enterprise customers in roadmap decisions with evidence rather than anecdote.
We expect you to have
6+ years of product management experience, with a meaningful part of it spent on enterprise products in B2B, developer platform, or API businesses.
Experience building developer-facing or API products, with real understanding of what makes an API good to build against.
Experience building platform capabilities that enterprises depend on, such as identity, permissions, quotas, usage controls, audit, or compliance.
A track record of working with large enterprise accounts, including recognized logos, and turning what you learned into shipped product.
Credibility with technical buyers: platform teams, architects, security, and procurement.
Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and how search and retrieval fit into agentic workflows. Hands-on technical background is a strong plus.
The ability to turn many messy customer conversations into one clear, prioritized product argument.
Proven ability to drive alignment without formal authority, including with product owners who do not report to you.
It will be a bonus if you have
Background as a forward-deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or solutions architect before moving into product.
Experience in search, information retrieval, or NLP.
Experience in API-first businesses running both self-serve and enterprise motions.
Experience building for regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or healthcare.
