The WHOOP legal team plays a critical role in supporting that mission by enabling the business to move quickly and responsibly around the world. We are rigorous but pragmatic, risk-aware rather than risk-averse, calm under pressure, excellent communicators, and deeply committed to being trusted partners to the business.
WHOOP is hiring an Assistant General Counsel, Litigation to oversee and manage litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. In this role, you will report to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and, in conjunction with the CLO, be responsible for developing and implementing litigation and regulatory enforcement strategy. WHOOP is a rapidly scaling, global business built upon a dynamic consumer brand that involves hardware, software, and healthcare. Accordingly, this role will be engaged with an extraordinarily broad array of legal areas. The successful candidate will be a seasoned litigator who possesses the first-hand experience and judgment necessary to assess litigation and regulatory risks and opportunities, hire and manage the outside counsel representing WHOOP, and ensure WHOOP receives the highest quality representation from its law firm partners.
In addition to managing the litigation docket, you will serve as a strategic counselor to all business and corporate functions regarding legal risk and opportunity. The successful candidate will be more than an experienced litigator. They will be a business-minded litigation leader who knows when to fight, when to settle, and when litigation risk should drive changes in the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the Company's litigation portfolio, with responsibility for the strategy, oversight, and resolution of lawsuits, arbitrations, pre-litigation disputes, and other contested matters involving the Company, independently driving matters while exercising sound judgment as to when legal, business, or reputational risks warrant escalation.
- Develop litigation strategy for significant matters, including evaluating claims and defenses, determining strategic objectives, identifying key decision points, and recommending litigation and settlement positions.
- Provide senior leadership with clear and actionable assessments of litigation risk, including exposure, ranges of potential outcomes, strategic alternatives, costs, business implications, and recommended courses of action.
- Select, retain, and manage outside counsel, establishing clear expectations regarding strategy, staffing, budgets, work product, responsiveness, and outcomes, and independently pressure-testing outside counsel’s strategic recommendations throughout the entire litigation life-cycle.
- Exercise rigorous oversight of litigation spending, including reviewing budgets and forecasts, scrutinizing staffing and billing practices, identifying opportunities for alternative fee arrangements, and ensuring that legal spending is proportionate to the Company's exposure and strategic objectives.
- Develop settlement strategies and lead significant settlement negotiations, balancing legal exposure, litigation costs, business considerations, precedent risk, reputational considerations, and operational impacts.
- Partner closely with Finance and Accounting regarding litigation reserves, contingent liabilities, insurance recoveries, settlement accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and other financial implications of litigation.
- Partner closely with the People Team regarding employment disputes.
- Manage litigation-related insurance matters, including providing timely notice of claims, coordinating with insurers and brokers, pursuing available coverage, and managing coverage disputes where necessary.
- Oversee discovery and evidence-preservation obligations, including litigation holds, document collection and review, information governance, e-discovery strategy, privilege issues, and the use of technology and outside vendors to manage discovery efficiently.
- Conduct and oversee sensitive internal investigations where appropriate and coordinate with employment, compliance, privacy, security, or other specialists depending on the subject matter.
- Establish and continuously improve litigation playbooks, processes, and technology, enabling the Legal team to manage a growing litigation portfolio efficiently and consistently as the Company scales.
- Promote appropriate use of data and technology in litigation management, including e-discovery tools, matter-management systems, litigation analytics, and emerging AI-enabled legal technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience, including experience at a nationally recognized law firm and/or an in-house legal department managing litigation.
- Experience as the lead or managing attorney on complex litigation. Strong command of litigation strategy and procedure, including discovery, dispositive motions, expert practice, mediation, trial preparation, settlement negotiations, and appeals.
- Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with practical business considerations and deliver actionable advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to translate complicated legal issues into concise, practical advice for senior executives and business leaders.
- Experience in building and improving legal processes, playbooks, and operational infrastructure to support a scaling business.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience supporting technology, consumer products, healthcare, or subscription-based businesses is strongly preferred.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

Interested in the role, but don’t meet every qualification? We encourage you to still apply! As we continue to build a diverse and inclusive environment, we encourage anyone who is interested in this role to apply.
WHOOP is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-verify https://www.e-verify.gov/ to determine employment eligibility
The WHOOP compensation philosophy is designed to attract, motivate, and retain exceptional talent by offering competitive base salaries, meaningful equity, and consistent pay practices that reflect our mission and core values.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $220,000 to $250,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
Location: Remote — Europe or US East Coast (Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Florida only)
🎯 Your main goal will be to build n8n's global revenue enablement engine — installing one enterprise selling methodology across every region, compressing ramp for every revenue team worldwide, and turning our community-led momentum into repeatable 7–8 figure enterprise revenue.
You'll report directly to our senior commercial leadership, inherit a small enablement team with basic onboarding in place, and have the mandate (and explicit VP trajectory) to build the function from the ground up: for a remote-first company selling across EMEA, the US, and beyond.
To do so, here are your responsibilities:
METHODOLOGY & ENTERPRISE SELLING EXCELLENCE
- Own the global install of one enterprise methodology (MEDDICC / value-selling framework): selection, rollout, certification, and continuous reinforcement across every rep and manager, in every region.
- Build the PLG-to-enterprise playbook: teach sellers to convert community and self-serve signals into qualified 7-figure pipeline.
- Partner with PMM and Product to arm the field with AI-led narratives, competitive plays, and launch enablement.
RAMP, ONBOARDING & MANAGER DEVELOPMENT
- Build one global onboarding engine, pre-boarding through certification to first-deal support, and compress time-to-quota for hiring waves in every region.
- Develop frontline sales managers: coaching frameworks, deal inspection, and forecast rigor that make the methodology stick.
- Define enablement's scorecard in revenue terms: ramp time, win rate, forecast accuracy, not course completions.
BUILDING THE GLOBAL FUNCTION
- Lead and grow the enablement team (starting with 1–2 ICs) across sales, SDR, CS, and partner enablement.
- Stand up the enablement infrastructure: tooling, content systems, certification tracking, and measurement with RevOps.
- Operate as a trusted peer to regional sales leaders across EMEA, the US, and future markets: in deal rooms, QBRs, and forecast reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🚀 Hypergrowth pedigree: You built enablement at a developer-tool, open-source, or technical B2B SaaS company as it scaled enterprise.
- 📈 €xm→€1bn scaling: You grew the function through a major GTM headcount wave and constant evolution of sales maturity. You've solved ramp at volume, not maintained steady-state.
- 🧠 Methodology implementation owner: You've run a company-wide MEDDICC / Command of the Message-style install end-to-end, with certification and reinforcement that stuck.
- ⏱️ Ramp engineer: You've built onboarding programs with measurable time-to-productivity compression.
- 📊 Revenue-outcome mindset: You measure enablement in deal size, win rate, ramp time, and forecast accuracy.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🎖️ Methodology-firm pedigree: Force Management, or similar as a consultant or a certified in-house champion.
- 💼 Carried a bag: You sold enterprise deals yourself, so reps and leaders trust you in deal conversations.
- 🌱 PLG-to-enterprise: You've enabled teams converting community/self-serve momentum into enterprise revenue.
- 🤖 AI narrative: You've positioned AI/ML-driven products in enterprise settings and think of an AI first solution to solving problems.
Why join us?
At n8n, your work won't disappear into an LMS. You'll build the global enablement function at the exact moment we scale from community-led momentum into 7–8 figure enterprise deals - the moment enablement leaders at MongoDB or HashiCorp will tell you was the best of their career. You'll install the methodology worldwide, set one ramp standard across regions, develop managers on every continent we sell in, and grow the team, with a direct line to senior commercial leadership and an explicit path to VP. You'll join a fast-growing, remote-first team that values autonomy, experimentation, and continuous learning.
n8n is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
We can sponsor visas to Germany; for any other country, you need to have existing right to work.
Our company language is English.
You care about diversity and inclusion? We do too! MEET THE TEAM 👥
Here at Cleo, we have ~200 Engineers organised into Pillars. ✨ Our stack spans a Ruby on Rails monolith, a single React Native (TypeScript) app frontend, Python for machine learning services, and PostgreSQL, all hosted on AWS and shipped through Kubernetes - backend goes out multiple times a week, app releases to Google and Apple at least weekly. To thrive here, our engineers proactively use our Engineering Principles to guide daily decisions, take ownership of problems beyond their own squad to drive broader impact, and actively drive their own learning, development, and growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE ✍️
We’re hiring a Technical Lead Manager to lead a cross-functional product squad, combining hands-on technical leadership with people management. You’ll lead a team of 4–5 engineers, working closely with Product, Design, Data and other technical leaders to build products that improve our users’ financial health.
- Lead and develop a squad of 4–5 engineers, balancing hands-on technical contribution with line management, coaching and support for individual growth.
- Partner with Product Managers, Staff Engineers and other technical leaders to shape a clear, feasible roadmap and deliver against squad OKRs.
- Define and steer the technical direction of your squad, helping the team make pragmatic trade-offs across speed, quality, scalability and long-term maintainability.
- Create the conditions for effective delivery by providing clarity, unblocking progress and establishing healthy, sustainable ways of working.
- Run regular 1:1s, provide clear and actionable feedback, and support engineers through development, performance conversations and growth planning.
- Stay close to the code and contribute hands-on to our Ruby on Rails monolith, using practices such as automated testing, observability, A/B testing and feature flags.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product, Design and Data to deliver and iterate on features that have a meaningful impact on our users’ financial health.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🕵️
- Solid experience with Ruby on Rails, building data models, APIs, and business logic services in a production monolith
- Experience leading technical delivery within a product squad or engineering team, helping shape and scope work through to delivery
- Experience line managing and coaching engineers, including giving feedback, supporting development and navigating performance conversations
- Strong technical judgement, with the ability to balance delivery speed, technical quality, scalability and longer-term investment
- Comfortable delivering with agile methodologies and practices like automated testing, observability, A/B testing, and feature flags
- A collaborative approach — you work well with Product, Design, Analytics and Engineering partners, and enjoy shaping work beyond just the technical bits
- A track record of helping teams build healthy habits, improve ways of working and deliver meaningful outcomes
- Alignment with our company values https://web.meetcleo.com/life-at-cleo and engineering principles https://web.meetcleo.com/blog/cleo-engineering-principles

We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
About Nebius Academy and Nebius Science
Nebius Academy is Nebius’s education and research initiative. It offers advanced programs in machine learning and generative AI, supports academic research through cloud grants, and works with universities and research institutions around the world.
Nebius Science is the research media lab within Nebius Academy. We cover AI research, AI-driven science, and the people and ideas shaping both fields.
Since launching in 2026, Nebius Science has highlighted the work of our researchers, covered major AI conferences and emerging research trends, and developed joint editorial projects with recipients of Nebius research grants.
Our work spans original features, technical explainers, weekly Paper Picks, research webinars, the Nebius Science Paper Club, and interviews with leading researchers.
Our goal is to make serious research accessible without flattening its complexity, and to create a meeting point for researchers, engineers, and the wider scientific community.
The role
Nebius Science is looking for an
AI Science Writer
based in the EU. This is an ongoing
contract role
with a fixed monthly retainer and opportunities for growth, including the potential to transition to a full-time position at Nebius.
You may be an AI/ML researcher or engineer who moved into journalism, a computer science graduate with substantial editorial experience, or a technical writer who has worked directly with research teams. Whatever your path, you should be able to read a technical paper, understand the underlying method, assess its limitations, and turn it into a clear and compelling story.
A central part of the role will be producing weekly reviews of new AI models, architectures, and in-house research. You should be able to identify what is genuinely new and explain how it works creatively across a range of formats.
These reviews can be visual as well as written. You will be expected to develop clear, engaging infographics, diagrams, charts, and other multimedia elements, creating them yourself by using AI tools where appropriate or working with designers and multimedia producers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Produce scientific and technical reviews of new AI models, architectures, papers, in-house research and trends.
Turn model architectures and complex technical ideas into clear visual narratives by developing infographics, diagrams, charts, and other multimedia components for your stories.
Interview researchers, engineers, founders, and scientific leaders.
Cover major research conferences, emerging fields, and important debates across the AI ecosystem.
Write and edit across formats, including analytical reports, features, interviews, explainers, newsletters, webinar scripts, and social content.
Host or moderate research webinars, interviews, and other on-camera formats.
Work with researchers to verify technical claims while preserving a clear editorial voice.
Collaborate with designers and multimedia producers on more complex visual stories.
Experiment with models, agents, coding, and automation to improve research, editorial, and visual-production workflows.
We expect you to have:
Have professional or academic experience in AI/ML research, machine learning engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Have a degree in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational science, or another relevant technical discipline.
Be comfortable reading papers, inspecting model architectures, comparing results, and discussing technical details directly with researchers.
Have strong visual instincts and be able to explain technical mechanisms through diagrams, infographics, charts, or other multimedia formats.
Write with precision and flair, using LLMs to support your work, not to do the writing for you.
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and ownership
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
International environment and talented teams
What's it like to work at Nebius:
Fast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI
