About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager, Sales to join our Finance team. You will be a key partner to Sales and RevOps leadership, helping shape metrics-driven decision making across Sales budget and headcount, commissions, SLG bookings, quota planning, capacity, and productivity. This role will have high cross-functional visibility and will be central to building the financial discipline, operating cadence, and scalable reporting needed to support Vercel’s next stage of growth.
What you'll do
Serve as the trusted Finance partner for the CRO by delivering actionable insights through forecasting, scenario analysis, business reviews, and resource allocation recommendations
Own Sales budget and headcount planning, including bottoms-up workforce models that connect hiring plans, ramp timing, productivity assumptions, commissions, and compensation costs to bookings and revenue goals
Support SLG bookings and quota planning by partnering with Sales and RevOps on quota capacity, ramp, attainment, coverage, territory design inputs, and productivity assumptions
Support commissions planning, forecasting, and reporting in partnership with Accounting, RevOps, and Sales leadership, including commission expense, accruals, plan changes, and performance insights
Lead Sales BvA reviews and operating cadences, translating financial results into clear variance narratives, risks, opportunities, and recommendations
Improve Sales Finance reporting and tooling by building scalable dashboards, templates, and processes that reduce manual work, improve forecast accuracy, and surface key risks earlier
What you need
Commercially sharp and analytically rigorous
– You understand how Sales and RevOps teams operate and can connect SLG bookings, quota planning, pipeline, capacity, attainment, productivity, commissions, headcount, and spend to the company’s financial plan.
Anti-bureaucracy, pro-speed
– You streamline workflows, remove drag, and make decisions with clarity. You believe a 3-bullet Slack post with a clear recommendation is better than a 20-slide deck.
Tech-forward operator
– You go beyond Excel. You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to automate, clean, and generate insights. You treat Finance like a product—always shipping improvements.
Detail-obsessed
– You know that a single error in quota capacity, ramp timing, commission logic, or start dates can swing the forecast by millions. You sweat the details so the CFO and Sales leaders don’t have to.
Strong cross-functional partner
– You can build trust with Sales leadership while maintaining financial discipline, communicating tradeoffs clearly, and driving decisions with data.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.

We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a member of the Corporate Finance team, you'll own the consolidated view of Notion's financial performance — the corporate model, the monthly close-to-reporting cycle, and the numbers that reach our executive team, Board of Directors, and investors. You'll immediately take ownership of core corporate FP&A workstreams, which include the consolidated P&L forecast, the monthly budget-vs-actual and reforecast cycles, and the planning systems that produce them.
This role is based San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the consolidated corporate model and the monthly reporting cadence — close actuals, budget-vs-actual, and the rolling reforecast — and connect reported performance to the revenue, headcount, and spend drivers behind it
- Maintain and evolve Notion's planning system, primarily Pigment: maintain the corporate model structure, run the monthly data loads and scenario snapshots, reconcile the P&L, headcount, and departmental views, and build new models and views as the business changes
- Assist in preparing and delivering presentations that effectively communicate Notion's financial performance and outlook to Notion's executive team, Board of Directors, and investors
- Raise the quality and scalability of our reporting infrastructure, using AI, automation, and stronger data workflows to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and surface insights faster — challenging existing processes and data inconsistencies that get in the way
- Work cross-functionally across Accounting, BizTech, People, and our Business Partnership (BP) Finance team to keep source data, mappings, and the chart of accounts aligned as operating complexity grows — tightening the handoffs between close and forecast along the way
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 2-5 years of experience across Investment Banking, Private Equity, Big 4, or corporate FP&A / Strategic Finance at a high-growth SaaS technology company
- Demonstrated ability to build and own rigorous financial models, ideally a three-statement or consolidated operating model for a recurring-revenue or SaaS business
- Hands-on experience with an enterprise planning tool (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, Vena) or a clear track record of becoming fluent in new systems quickly
- Strong analytical judgment and the ability to move from detailed data to a clear point of view on performance, risks, and opportunities
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial audiences
- Ability to build finance processes from scratch and improve existing ones with a lens on long-term scalability and sustainability
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
As a member of Ramp’s Financial Crimes Compliance Team, you will play a key role in executing Ramp’s Anti–money laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance program. You will be responsible for conducting investigations, preparing unusual and suspicious activity reports (UARs, SARs), driving process improvement, and supporting AI and automation initiatives for the AML program.
This role is primarily focused on comprehensive investigations arising from escalated transaction-monitoring alerts and internal referrals. You will evaluate the customer relationship and relevant activity holistically, document clear and defensible risk conclusions, and prepare high-quality SARs and UARs when appropriate. You will flex into other Financial Crimes Compliance workflows as business needs evolve, including sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and enhanced due diligence reviews.
You will also help strengthen how Financial Crimes Compliance operates. This is an opportunity for someone who combines rigorous risk-based judgment with a builder mindset: improving review workflows, quality standards, and procedures while partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, Data (PEDD) to develop the tooling, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities that will allow Ramp to scale responsibly.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment, has strong analytical and investigative skills, and is excited about building scalable processes to support Ramp’s growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead comprehensive investigations of escalated transaction-monitoring alerts and internal referrals, maintaining appropriate case documentation, making defensible risk-based decisions, and meeting regulatory reporting obligations.
- Recommend account actions or restrictions based on financial crimes risk, and present findings and recommendations to the Account Review Board.
- Draft and file SARs and prepare applicable partner reporting, ensuring narratives are clear, evidence-based, timely, and confidential.
- Conduct secondary and peer reviews of investigations and filings, strengthening quality, consistency, and investigator judgment.
- Identify and drive practical improvements to investigation workflows, procedures, quality standards, tooling, and training.
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, PEDD, and Operations to build scalable workflows, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Flex into other Financial Crimes Compliance work, including sanctions, PEPs, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence reviews, as program needs require.
What You Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BSA/AML advisory or operations teams, with at least 2 years in BSA/AML investigations
- Demonstrated experience drafting and filing SARs and making recommendations to leadership on account actions such as offboarding or risk acceptance
- At least 1 year of experience conducting secondary or peer reviews of financial-crimes investigations
- Deep knowledge of money-laundering and terrorist-financing typologies, with the ability to apply that knowledge to Ramp’s products, payment flows, and business-customer risk.
- Demonstrated experience improving financial-crimes processes, procedures, controls, tooling, training, or quality standards.
- AI fluency, including the ability to design repeatable, validated multi-step AI-assisted workflows with clear inputs, outputs, review checkpoints, and defined processes to identify, correct, and improve unreliable results.
- Prior Fintech experience
Nice to Haves
- Experience working with bank partners, card issuers, payment partners, or other regulated financial-services partners, including diligence requests, audits, reporting, or operational escalations.
- ACAMS certification or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience delivering automation or AI-assisted workflow improvements in a regulated compliance environment.

- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
