Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer who thinks like a product builder — someone who cares deeply about the "why" behind what they're building, not just the tickets in the backlog.
You'll be embedded in a cross-functional domain team (Backend, Mobile, ML/AI, QA, Design, and Product) and own the end-to-end development of features that genuinely matter: company accounts and cash flows, banking transactions, card issuance and management, and AI-enabled accounting. You'll help shape architecture decisions, raise the bar on engineering quality, and mentor the engineers around you.
If you're energized by working at the intersection of great mobile engineering and real product impact — this is the role.
What You'll Do
Design and build new features for our iOS application, used daily by business owners across Europe.
Architect and implement reliable, intuitive solutions for:

.
Take ownership of code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and thorough code reviews are non-negotiable.
Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product — you'll be shaping solutions end-to-end, not just implementing specs.
Drive technical decisions within your domain, challenge assumptions when needed, and proactively identify opportunities to build better.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team
Who You Are
You're pragmatic and have a proven track record of shipping products that matter. You communicate clearly across disciplines and thrive in a cross-functional environment where everyone is solving the same customer problem together.

.
Experience with layout development in code, particularly using
SnapKit
or similar tools.
Confidence with
Git / GitLab
, including the ability to set up and use
GitLab CI/CD
.
Ability to write unit and UI tests.
A builder's mentality — you care about the product, the users, and the outcomes, not just the code.
Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Background in fintech or experience with financial products — you understand the stakes.
Solid grasp of mobile security best practices (especially critical in our domain).
Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance — reducing rendering bottlenecks and achieving smooth 60/120fps on iOS.
Hands-on work with performance tooling:
Instruments
,
XCTest
, or similar.
Published apps on the
App Store
you're proud of.
An active
GitHub
profile with code you're happy to share.
Hands-on experience with
AI agents and LLM tools
(Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) — setting up agent environments, writing prompts, skills, and behavioral rules.
Experience with
AI-powered IDE tools
(Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) — including agent mode, rules files configuration, and integrating AI into the daily development workflow.
Understanding of model
capabilities and limitations
— knowing which model fits which task and how to manage the context window effectively.
Ability to
evaluate and verify AI-generated output
— using automated tests, linters, and critical review to catch hallucinations and errors.

LEAP Program Description
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) – a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group – is implementing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global), a mechanism originally used by USAID to battle against infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza. As of July 1, 2025, LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative aims to address the complex human resource challenges faced by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported countries.
The intervention of this project is to hire and embed technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government entities. By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs, LEAP provides long-term, sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.
About the Position
The Supply Chain Technical Advisor is a U.S. Government (USG)–funded position that will be seconded to the Government of Botswana’s Transition Management Unit (TMU). The Advisor will support the Government of Botswana in carrying out life-saving humanitarian assistance (LHA) service delivery in full alignment with the new Presidential Executive Order (EO) directives. The Advisor will provide high-level technical guidance to the Botswana Ministry of Health (MOH) including NAHPA and CMS and Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs (MLGTA) on strengthening national healthcare supply chain systems in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the Governments of Botswana and the United States. ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Product at Baseten is a nascent function. Our company today has a strong engineering culture, is heavily customer-obsessed, and moves fast. We're building the product function now, and you'd be one of the people who defines it. You'll work directly with our founders and with some of the best systems and AI engineers, and you'll set the standard for what product looks like here. PMs at Baseten don't sit above engineers. You earn ownership by being technical, finding the truth in front of customers, building great cross-functional relationships, and shipping great product experiences.
Once a model is deployed, keeping it fast, reliable, and economical at scale is where production inference is won or lost. You'll own the surface that makes that happen: how deployments autoscale, how traffic is routed, how the system fails over, and how workloads scale across clusters and regions. You'll own these as products end to end, both how they work under the hood and how customers configure and observe them, and you'll set the roadmap that infrastructure and product teams alike can build toward. This space is still evolving. Think cloud infrastructure in the mid-2000s. Your job is to make it 10x easier to reliably scale and serve AI models in production, and to set the market standard.
This role is a great fit if you love getting deep in the technical details, and if you'd rather do whatever it takes to ship for customers than stay in the strategy, UX, or docs layer. You're drawn to platforms, systems, GPUs, models, and scaling infrastructure more than to applied AI, and you find real satisfaction in the foundational, sometimes unglamorous work that makes AI systems reliable and scalable at the infrastructure level.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
Take a look at these blog posts written by members of our Product and Infrastructure teams:
- How we built Multi-cloud Capacity Management (MCM) https://www.baseten.co/blog/how-we-built-multi-cloud-capacity-management/
- How the Baseten Delivery Network (BDN) makes cold starts fast https://www.baseten.co/blog/how-the-baseten-delivery-network-bdn-makes-cold-starts-fast/
- Baseten brings AI video to life on Nebius https://www.baseten.co/blog/ai-video-nebius-baseten-inference-stack/
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own how workloads scale and where they land, from autoscaling to demand (up under load, down to zero when idle) to a single placement policy that expresses region, compliance regime, and capacity preference.
- Give compliance-bound workloads right-of-way on sensitive capacity.
- Make production inference reliable by default, so every request reaches a healthy replica and rolling deploys never drop traffic.
- Define region-aware routing, with multi-region and active-active failover as first-class policy, plus health-aware recovery from stuck or bad replicas.
- Build the release engine beneath safe rollouts: the traffic-shifting that powers canary, shadow, and A/B, along with warm-ups, drain, and probes.
- Push the cost and performance frontier for serving AI at scale across latency, throughput, uptime, and cost efficiency.
- Drive a measurable decline in MTTR through self-serve incident management.
- Set the roadmap that infrastructure and product teams build toward, and own each capability end to end, from backend behavior through the customer-facing configuration and observability surface.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years in product management, including deep experience with infrastructure, distributed systems, or ML serving.
- Fluency reasoning about scaling, routing, failover, and the cost/performance frontier, at a level that earns the respect of staff engineers.
- Experience owning capabilities end to end, backend through UX, rather than a single slice.
- Track record driving cross-team roadmaps and the dependencies beneath them.
- Comfort defining a category that doesn't fully exist yet.
NICE TO HAVE
- Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with serving frameworks like vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, or SGLang.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

Perplexity is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and hands-on Offensive Security Engineer to join our dynamic security team, taking an adversarial approach to hardening Perplexity's infrastructure, applications, and AI systems. You'll plan and execute red team operations, penetration tests, and attack simulations across our cloud infrastructure, web and mobile applications, AI/ML pipeline, and corporate environment—finding real vulnerabilities before adversaries do and working directly with engineering teams to drive remediation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute red team and purple team engagements simulating advanced threat actors across cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes), endpoints, and application surfaces
- Conduct continuous penetration testing of web applications, APIs, mobile clients, browser extensions, cloud infrastructure, and internal services
- Assess AI/ML-specific attack surfaces including prompt injection, model exfiltration, agent abuse, tool-use exploitation, and MCP security boundaries
- Develop and maintain custom offensive tooling, exploits, and automation to improve the efficiency and coverage of security testing
- Perform open-scope adversary simulations that test detection and response capabilities end to end, collaborating closely with the defensive security team
- Drive threat modeling sessions with engineering teams to identify and prioritize attack vectors in new features and architectures
- Deliver clear, actionable findings to both technical and executive audiences; partner with engineering to validate remediations
- Contribute to the security of CI/CD pipelines, supply chain integrity, and secrets management through offensive assessment
- Stay current on emerging attack techniques, vulnerability research, and adversary tradecraft; bring external perspective into Perplexity's security strategy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security, red teaming, or penetration testing
- Deep technical expertise in at least two of: cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), web/API application security, Kubernetes and container security, macOS/Linux endpoint security, network penetration testing, or CI/CD pipeline security
- Track record of discovering impactful vulnerabilities or developing novel attack techniques in production environments
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages; comfortable writing custom tooling and exploits
- Experience with industry-standard offensive tools (Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike / Sliver / Mythic, Metasploit, BloodHound, nuclei, etc.) and ability to operate beyond them
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate complex technical findings into clear risk narratives
- Experience assessing AI/ML systems, LLM applications, or agentic workflows for security vulnerabilities
- Bonus: Published security research, conference talks (DEF CON, Black Hat, BSides), CVE credits, or meaningful bug bounty contributions

What You’ll Be Doing
Business & Team Leadership
Own the overall frontend team across core business verticals including Trading and Payment, covering hiring, development, and pipeline building. Partner effectively with Product, Backend, Security, and Compliance — driving cross-functional outcomes through technical judgment, not just execution.
Product Delivery & Technical Execution
Lead technical design and delivery for core business features including trading system frontend experience, wallet and asset management, AI-powered trading products, payment gateway integrations, and KYC/AML frontend implementation. Stay deeply sensitive to business metrics and user experience, making sound trade-offs between speed and quality.
Product & Engineering Thinking in the AI Era
Demonstrate deep understanding of how AI is reshaping product paradigms — changing user expectations, product form factors, and R&D efficiency. Integrate AI into product decisions and design, not merely as a productivity tool.
Technical Judgment & Standard-Setting
Drive tech stack alignment and evolution. Proactively identify and address technical risk. Establish high engineering quality standards in complex crypto security contexts — private key security, frontend attack prevention, compliance auditing, and more.
Cross-Team Influence
Build dual technical and business influence at the company level. Communicate technical value and business judgment clearly to engineers, product managers, and senior leadership alike. Participate in industry engagements to attract high-potential talent who are genuinely passionate about crypto.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor's degree or above in CS or related field; 10+ years of engineering experience including 5+ years managing technical teams; solid full-stack capabilities with frontend depth
Deep command of core frontend technologies (React/Vue internals, engineering toolchains, performance optimization, cross-platform solutions), with enough backend and API fluency to drive substantive technical discussions
Proven track record leading frontend for products with DAU 1M+ in high-concurrency, high-availability environments
Demonstrated experience driving cross-team collaboration and standard adoption through technical influence rather than organizational authority
Genuine understanding of and enthusiasm for crypto — familiar with CEX/DEX trading mechanics, Web3 wallet and signing mechanisms, and mainstream payment gateway ecosystems.
Deep understanding of how AI is reshaping product design; can integrate AI into product decisions rather than treating it purely as a development accelerator
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants

You’ll have an opportunity to shape our security strategy and best practices from the ground up, influencing the way our platform handles sensitive data for both internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Vulnerability management: Lead proactive vulnerability assessments, pen tests, and remediation efforts to ensure our products and infrastructure remain secure.
- Incident response: Develop and maintain incident response processes, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and post-incident reviews.
- Identity and access management (IAM): Oversee IAM strategies and tools to ensure the right people have the right level of access to our systems and data.
- Security compliance and audits: Work closely with operations to ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) and assist with audits, policy creation, and risk assessments.
- Employee security training: Develop and deliver security training programs and documentation to keep our team informed about best practices, social engineering threats, and secure coding standards.
- DevSecOps integration: Partner with DevOps teams to embed security into the CI/CD pipeline, automating security checks and fostering a culture of “security as code.”
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in a Security Engineer or similar security-focused role, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/GCP), container security, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Hands-on experience with security tooling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and scripting languages to automate security tasks.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR, and the ability to translate requirements into actionable security controls.
- Incident response expertise, including forensic analysis and root cause investigation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a security-first culture.
