Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is looking for a Communications Manager to join our Communications and Content team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of our most impactful, largest, merchant announcements, coordinating across Commercial, Brand and Creative, and your colleagues in Communications to bring some of the most high-profile stories in payments to market.
This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of editorial judgment, project management, and stakeholder influence. You'll be the connector between account managers, merchants, channel owners, and the broader comms team, ensuring that announcements land with precision, that the pipeline never runs dry, and that the programme gets measurably better over time.
How you'll make an impact:
- Announcement ownership: Lead the end-to-end coordination of hero merchant announcements, from initial brief through to publication — managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring nothing falls through the gaps.
- Content creation: Work on PR and social copy, and supporting communications assets for merchant announcements, with a consistent standard of accuracy, clarity, and commercial relevance.
- Stakeholder management: Build strong working relationships with account managers, regional marketing leads, and merchants directly — keeping the flow of announcements moving and anticipating blockers before they become problems.
- Channel briefing and coordination: Brief in channel owners across PR, social, and owned media, ensuring each announcement is executed consistently and on time across every relevant touchpoint.
- Pipeline management: Own and maintain a healthy pipeline of upcoming merchant announcements, prioritising by commercial impact and ensuring the team always has a clear view of what's coming and when.
- Reporting and measurement: Own the reporting framework for the merchant announcements programme, tracking KPIs including PR hits, social impressions, and share of voice, and presenting performance clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Programme development: Continuously evaluate and improve the way merchant announcements are run — from briefing templates and approval workflows to partner engagement and post-publication analysis.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in communications, content, or PR, ideally with exposure to B2B or fintech environments, and a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder announcements.
- AI-fluent. You use LLMs and associated tools to work faster and think harder, drafting, brainstorming, and stress-testing ideas as a matter of course.
- Strong writing skills across formats, with the ability to move fluently between a press release and a LinkedIn caption without losing the thread of a story.
- A natural coordinator who keeps projects on track without needing to be chased, and who earns trust from commercial and creative colleagues alike.
- Data-literate and outcomes-focused, you understand what good looks like for earned media and paid social performance, and you use that to inform how you work.
- Comfortable managing up and across: you can hold a timeline with a senior account manager, push back on a deadline that doesn't work, and represent the comms team's interests clearly.
- Sharp attention to detail, particularly around accuracy in copy that will carry a merchant's name publicly.
About you
- You care deeply about your work, and strive to deliver the best quality output possible. You welcome constructive criticism.
- You're not an island. You can show and tell us how you've helped the people around you get better, or brought in others’ support from inside or outside the team to get something done.
- You think in systems. You can anticipate the ripple effects small and large changes will have on the brand experience.
- You highly prize being accountable. You take ownership for every action, share faults and failures, strive for better, and build trust.
- You're self motivated and can work independently.
- You love learning. You might not have experience for everything this role requires, but you're excited to grow and learn – sometimes 'wearing many hats' in a team.
Additional Information
Bring all of you to work
We create the conditions for high performers to thrive, through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.
Here, you’ll move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and be recognized for the impact you deliver. It’s a place where ambition gets met with opportunity, and where your growth is in your hands.
We work as one team, and we back each other to succeed. So whatever your background or identity, if you’re ready to grow and make a difference, you’ll be right at home here.
It’s important we set you up for success and make our process as accessible as possible. So let us know in your application, or tell your recruiter directly, if you need anything to make your experience or working environment more comfortable.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the role
Fivetran + dbt Labs is hiring a Senior Manager to lead the Product Design team responsible for dbt Labs. This role reports to the Director of Product Design.
This is an exciting time to join! As Fivetran and dbt Labs come together, you will help shape a coherent product experience, guide the design team through change, and influence the future of AI-powered data products. You will join a strong and talented design organization whose members care deeply about their craft, the practitioners they serve, and one another.
This is a people management and product leadership role for a design leader who wants to shape technical data products at scale. You will manage and develop a team of product designers, shape the UX strategy for dbt products, and partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define how data teams build, transform, govern, and trust their data. You will lead through strategy, coaching, direction, and cross-functional partnership.
What you'll do
Lead the dbt product design team
You will manage and coach a team of product designers who work across dbt platform and CLI-based products. Designers own the full design process from problem definition and research to UX/UI and partnering with eng/PM through delivery. You will build a culture where designers feel supported, challenged, and empowered to do thoughtful, high-quality work for deeply technical users. You will set clear expectations, give actionable feedback, support career growth, and create the conditions for strong design craft.
Own UX strategy for dbt
You will define and drive UX strategy across dbt’s product experience. You will identify the highest-impact experience opportunities, connect design priorities to product outcomes, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership as a strategic peer in roadmap and product direction conversations.
Provide design direction for technical data products
You will set direction for design work across complex workflows used by technical practitioners. You do not need to be an engineer, but you do need enough technical fluency to understand the domain, evaluate tradeoffs, and partner credibly with engineering leaders. You should be comfortable discussing data workflows, ELT, analytics engineering, developer tools, and infrastructure-oriented product experiences.
Shape AI and agentic product experiences
You will lead design strategy for AI-powered and agentic experiences within dbt. This requires more than adding AI features to existing workflows. You will help the team design systems that make AI assistance understandable, useful, and safe for high-stakes technical work. As dbt builds experiences where both humans and AI agents interact with the same data infrastructure, you will also think about how product surfaces need to work for both personas.
Help integrate Fivetran and dbt Labs design
You will play an important role in co-creating a unified product experience and design culture. This is a change-leadership role. You will partner with the Director of Product Design to merge systems, processes, and culture. You will help designers navigate a new organizational context, build strong cross-functional relationships, and create clarity during a period of product and company evolution.
Build an AI-native design operating model
You will operationalize AI across the design lifecycle (from research synthesis and ideation to prototyping, documentation, and design QA). You will establish shared workflows, quality standards, and review practices that help the team move faster without compromising product quality or consistency. In partnership with the Director of Product Design and Product and Engineering leadership, you will also define cross-functional standards for when AI-generated work requires design review, ensuring clear expectations for human oversight, quality, and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
Required experience
You have 8+ years of product design experience and at least 5 years managing product designers.
Strong people management skills, including coaching, performance development, direct feedback, and team culture building.
Strong cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
Deep care for craft, with a leadership style focused on direction, critique, strategy, and coaching rather than acting as the primary IC designer.
Designing for, or leading teams that design for, technically complex products such as ELT, data infrastructure, analytics engineering, developer tools, cloud platforms, data governance, observability, or adjacent enterprise infrastructure products.
Designing AI-powered or agentic product experiences. You understand the difference between a lightweight AI feature, a copilot, and an agentic workflow.
Experience operationalizing AI workflows for product design teams that goes way beyond AI prototyping. You have defined how designers use AI across the design lifecycle and have established the workflows, standards, review practices, and quality thresholds needed to make AI-assisted work effective at team scale.
Owning UX strategy for a meaningful product area. You can show how your design strategy influenced product direction, not just how your team delivered screens.
Strong technical fluency. You can reason about complex systems, understand engineering constraints, and discuss tradeoffs with Product and Engineering partners.
Experience designing for expert technical users such as data engineers, analytics engineers, software engineers, platform teams, or security teams.

Perplexity is revolutionizing how the world gets work done, and we do it alongside some of the most important companies in the world. We are seeking a PMM focused on Partnerships to formally build that function from the ground up. You will become the face that some of Perplexity's most important partners rely on, and the person who makes our joint moments land.
This is a 0>1 role with executive exposure from day one. It has two sides. You are the relationship owner who partners trust and internal teams turn to, and you are the program manager who keeps every joint launch, event, and campaign on the rails. You'll work directly with teams across comms, product marketing, sales, and product, owning how Perplexity and its partners show up to the world together.
If you learn fast, thrive in ambiguity, and build trust with the biggest companies in the world instinctively, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Perplexity's partner marketing function end to end, from joint strategy through campaign execution and reporting
- Build annual joint marketing plans with our most important partners, with committed pipeline and revenue targets, and run the QBR cadence that keeps both sides accountable to them
- Ensure Perplexity and our partners are both accountable. Execute, driving joint marketing ideas from concept to shipped and following through so commitments turn into real activity, not slideware
- Own the joint value proposition and narrative, crafting the "better together" story so it is aligned across both companies, resonates with buyers, and is mutually beneficial
- Execute full-funnel co-marketing with and through partners, including joint webinars, events, ABM, content syndication, email, and digital campaigns
- Build partner enablement assets, including co-branded content, solution briefs, pitch decks, joint case studies, and campaign-in-a-box kits, so partner teams can sell and market with us at scale
- Coordinate launch moments and joint announcements, amplifying Perplexity product launches and major industry moments through the ecosystem
- Instrument measurement and attribution, tracking partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline in CRM, and reporting ecosystem impact to leadership.
- Align the field, making sure Perplexity sales and Customer Success know about, trust, and activate partner programs so they stick
- Act as connective tissue between Partnerships and BD, PMM, Demand Generation, Sales, and Comms, and serve as the primary marketing counterpart to our partners' marketing teams
- Maintain strong relationships in partner organizations and Perplexity across diverse organizations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in B2B marketing, preferably in partner, alliance, or ecosystem marketing
- Proven track record running joint go-to-market with technology and ISV partners, cloud providers, or system integrators, and shipping campaigns that generated real pipeline
- A closer on accountability, with the operating discipline to build a plan, hold two organizations to it, and drive follow-through when commitments slip
- Strong storyteller who can craft a joint narrative that is crisp, differentiated, and credible to buyers and executives on both sides
- Full-funnel campaign operator fluent across webinars, events, ABM, content, and digital, comfortable executing hands-on rather than only directing
- Analytically rigorous, with experience setting up attribution and reporting partner-sourced and influenced pipeline; comfortable in CRM and revenue operation tools
- Excellent relationship builder who can be trusted while representing Perplexity's interests to partners
- Autonomous self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, builds the playbook rather than waiting for one, and operates with urgency in a high-growth environment

PlanetScale is growing rapidly and reinventing the database space. Our database platform offers developers the fastest and most reliable Postgres and Vitess/MySQL databases, enabling businesses to efficiently handle data and workloads of all sizes.
PlanetScale is backed with over $100M in venture financing from top-tier VCs including a16z, Kleiner Perkins, SignalFire, and Insight Venture Partners. And we serve some of the most innovative companies in the world such as Block, Anysphere (Cursor), MyFitnessPal, Etsy, Kick, and thousands more. Our customers entrust us with what is often their most precious digital asset, their data, so the stakes couldn’t be higher.
We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager to own the strategy and hands-on execution of high-impact experiences that connect developers, engineering leaders, customers, and the broader tech community with PlanetScale.
What’s the job to be done?
Own the end-to-end events strategy and portfolio for PlanetScale, spanning owned developer experiences, conference presence, sponsored/partnered events, executive dinners, pop-up activations, meetups, field programs, and hybrid/digital formats.
Set the creative and experiential bar, bringing a strong point of view on design, storytelling, branding, and details so every touchpoint (booth, merch, venue, food, etc) reflects PlanetScale’s brand and stands out.
Drive measurable outcomes in developer acquisition, product adoption, community growth, pipeline, and brand love. Define the metrics that matter and hold the program accountable to them.
Build and manage a global events calendar. Evaluate, prioritize, and execute a disciplined portfolio of events.
Own and manage the events budget with clear ROI frameworks, financial discipline, and the ability to reallocate based on performance data.
Manage vendors, agencies, venues, AV, and creative partners; hold external partners to the same quality standard expected internally.
Operate as a highly hands-on individual contributor while setting strategy. This is a lean role where you’ll both define the vision and drive the majority of the execution yourself, while building the foundation to grow the function over time.
Innovate on format: bring fresh thinking beyond traditional conference booths (hackathons, build-alongs, intimate technical roundtables, hybrid experiences, unique activations, executive events).
These attributes best describe you
You have experience running or heavily contributing to events for developer or highly technical audiences, whether from an events, experiential marketing, field marketing, or Developer Relations background. You know what resonates with engineers and builders versus what feels like generic marketing.
You have strong taste and creative vision. You can point to events you’re proud of and articulate why specific design, content, experience, and logistical choices mattered.
You are both strategic and highly operational. You’re comfortable setting direction and then rolling up your sleeves to make it happen.
You thrive in cross-functional, matrixed environments and can influence without pure authority across Sales, DevRel, Marketing, Brand, and leadership.
You are comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and high ownership. PlanetScale moves fast. You bias toward action while protecting quality.
You enjoy wearing multiple hats and are energized by a high-IC role rather than pure people management.
What you will need
3+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, field marketing, Developer Relations, or developer community roles, with meaningful ownership of strategy and execution.
Experience working with developer, engineering, or technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage event budgets and deliver measurable results.
Experience producing or significantly contributing to a mix of owned events, conference presence, executive/customer dinners, meetups, and field activations.
Excellent project management, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (often 30%+ depending on the calendar) to attend, oversee, and host events.
Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Strong communication skills and the ability to represent PlanetScale with polish and authenticity in high-stakes settings.
This job requires you to work from our San Francisco office at least 3 days a week.
What else will help you be successful
Prior experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or databases.
Background in Developer Relations or developer community building.
Experience with hybrid or digital-first formats alongside in-person.
Existing relationships in the developer conference and events ecosystem.
Comfort creating or guiding technical storytelling and working closely with DevRel and Product on content and speakers.
Why PlanetScale

What we haven't fully built yet is the real-world version of that, and as Field Marketing Manager, that vision is yours to own.

At PlanetScale we believe in supporting people to do their best work and thrive no matter the location. Our mission is to build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive company. We strive to build an inclusive environment where all people feel that they are equally respected and valued, whether they are a candidate or an employee. We welcome applicants of any educational background, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, citizenship, socioeconomic status, disability, pregnancy status, and veteran status.
If you have a disability, please let us know if there’s any way we can make the interview process better for you; we’re happy to accommodate!

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
Nebius is seeking a
IT Risk & Controls Manager
to act as an embedded risk partner to our engineering and technology organizations.
You will help scale and strengthen a modern IT SOX and controls framework across Nebius’s custom-built AI cloud platform, infrastructure, corporate technology environment and other systems supporting financial reporting.
This role goes beyond traditional IT audit testing. You will work directly with engineering leaders, system owners, Finance, Internal Controls and external auditors to identify risk, design scalable controls, improve evidence quality, drive remediation and embed compliance into the way our technology organizations operate.
The successful candidate will combine deep IT risk and controls expertise with meaningful in-house technology experience. You must be equally comfortable discussing technical control design with engineers, explaining risk implications to business leaders and aligning audit expectations with external assurance providers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Act as the risk and controls partner for an assigned technology organization or system portfolio, developing a detailed understanding of its architecture, operations, risks and financial-reporting dependencies.
Own and continuously improve the relevant IT risk and control framework, including system scoping, risk assessment, RCM and control-catalogue maintenance, documentation and control ownership.
Lead IT SOX readiness for assigned systems, including walkthrough preparation, evidence-quality review, testing coordination, issue evaluation and remediation oversight.
Partner with engineering, platform, infrastructure, security and corporate IT teams to design and implement scalable controls that address risk while supporting operational efficiency.
Design, assess and enhance ITGCs across areas such as user access, privileged access, segregation of duties, change management, SDLC, system operations, incident management and third-party services.
Assess IT application controls, automated controls and IT-dependent business controls, including the completeness and accuracy of system-generated information used in business-process controls.
Evaluate how business controls depend on systems, integrations, configurations, reports and underlying ITGCs, and work with both business and IT control owners to resolve gaps.
Apply risk and controls thinking to modern engineering practices, including cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, repositories, deployment processes, containerized environments and audit logging.
Lead the assessment and remediation of control gaps arising from new systems, major technology transformations, platform changes, integrations and acquisitions.
Review third-party assurance reports and determine the impact of vendor controls and complementary user-entity controls on the Nebius control environment.
Maintain effective working relationships with external auditors and advisers, aligning on audit scope, evidence expectations, testing approaches, reliance opportunities, timelines and issue resolution.
Translate complex technical risks and auditor requirements into practical guidance for engineering and system owners.
Use data analytics, automation, continuous monitoring and AI-assisted tools to improve control coverage, evidence quality and the efficiency of the IT SOX program.
Contribute to the development of IT controls methodology, standards, tooling, training, reporting and the broader Risk Partner operating model.
Provide clear, concise updates on control health, audit readiness, deficiencies and remediation progress to senior technology and Finance stakeholders.
We expect you to have:
A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
At least eight years of progressive experience in IT risk, IT controls, IT SOX, technology assurance, IT audit or a closely related area.
Meaningful in-house technology or corporate ownership experience is required.
Big Four or consulting experience is valuable when combined with subsequent in-house responsibility, but an exclusively advisory or external-audit background will not be sufficient.
Experience working in a first-line technology, engineering, systems or IT operations role, or as an embedded in-house risk partner supporting a technology organization.
Hands-on experience in an engineering-led technology, cloud, SaaS, platform or digital-product environment.
Strong practical knowledge of SOX 404, ITGCs, IT application controls, automated controls, COSO and COBIT.
Demonstrated experience with control design, implementation, monitoring, evidence review, audit readiness, issue evaluation and remediation.
Practical understanding of modern technology environments, including cloud infrastructure, IAM, DevOps, CI/CD, SDLC, software repositories, deployment practices, system integrations and container orchestration such as Kubernetes.
