Location: Remote Poland, Poland Workplace: remote WELCOME TO OLX We're building marketplace sustainable ecosystems that millions of people depend on every month – to buy and sell cars, find homes, land jobs, and trade secondhand goods. It's commerce that matters: safe, smart, and environmentally responsible. We do this with courage to innovate, commitment to outcomes, collaboration across 50+ nationalities and 7 markets, and a customer-led approach that puts real people first. Add a desire to win – and you get a culture that's ambitious, fast-moving, and built on trust. Our brands – including AutoTrader, OLX, Otomoto Property24, and more – are loved by millions. And we're backed by Prosus, one of the world's largest tech investors. Join OLX and see how far you can go. Join Our Team as an AI-native Staff Backend Engineer! Join one of our cross-functional teams in Motors, Real Estate, OLX Classifieds, or Platforms, working remotely from Poland. Are you someone who is craving scalable problems and dealing with optimizations? You'll work with a creative, critical, and well-organized team from the comfort of your house, but as close as we have ever been! You will play a key role in enabling our organisation to scale efficiently. Who we are looking for: You can use agentic workflows (Claude Code, Cursor Agent, or equivalent) as your default, not as a novelty. You practice context engineering, not just prompt engineering; you design the full information architecture an AI agent needs to succeed: repo structure, CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md configs, relevant code context, memory, and tool access. You understand model routing trade-offs (e.g., when to use Haiku vs. Sonnet vs. Opus) and multi-agent orchestration. Strong ownership instinct: AI output is a first draft, not a deliverable; you validate, refactor, and take full accountability. You have strong Coding and Computer Science Fundamentals. Roughly ⅔ of your time will be hands-on technical work: designing solutions, steering and reviewing AI-generated code, developing new ideas, and reviewing others' contributions. The rest goes to cross-team influence, mentoring, and strategic alignment. Strong background experience in Golang, Java/Kotlin (preferred technologies), and able to work with PHP. Flexible and capable of adjusting to changing project requirements, roles, and backend technologies as needed. Scalable Systems Expertise. Experience with large-scale web applications, an economic-thinking mindset, and being able to design well-bounded future-proof domain systems, aligned with the business objectives. Deep expertise in scalable distributed systems, CI/CD, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, AWS, and relational + NoSQL databases. Big-picture thinker: aligns technical decisions with business strategy, influences without authority. Clear communicator in English across engineering, product, and leadership audiences. Self-starter who identifies what needs doing and takes initiative without waiting to be asked. Skilled Technical Leader and Mentor: Guide and support engineers by setting a strong example. As a Staff Engineer, you are a role model, leading by example and through your expertise. What you will be doing: Architect context pipelines for AI agents: curate what enters the context window (repo boundaries, domain knowledge, test outputs, CI feedback) so agents produce reliable, mergeable code, not just plausible code. Prepare task specifications that are agent-actionable (clear acceptance criteria, referenced modules, explicit constraints) Design and maintain agent-ready systems: well-bounded repos, comprehensive test suites as guardrails, CI/CD pipelines with structured output agents can parse and act on. Serve as an AI Champion: join and strengthen our growing AI Champion community, contribute to workshops, curate effective agentic workflows, and mentor engineers on AI-assisted practices. Contribute to org-level AI tooling evaluations and OLX AI practices repositories. Drive active migration from a legacy monolith to microservices, owning decisions on bounded domain decomposition. Working on making agentic workflows effective across a codebase whose boundaries are actively being redefined. Set the bar for GraphQL API design, RESTful contracts, database schema, and CI/CD quality across the tribe. Work with product and engineering leadership to identify high-value problems, propose initiatives, and drive impactful technical direction without direct authority Guide senior engineers in managing and reducing technical debt with AI as an accelerator, not a shortcut. Our Hiring Process: Recruiter Screen Management Capabilities System Design Live Coding Our Benefits Monthly salary and an annual bonus (20%) Training and conference budget, and free access to Udemy courses A benefits package with 500 points on the Mybenefit platform per month, private medical care provided by Luxmed, Ask Henry services, and much more IP rights’ costs - 80% 100% remote work (as well as the possibility of working from our offices in Poznan and Warsaw) If you think this is the role for you, send your application in English and let’s talk! Location: Remote Workplace: remote At Offchain, we aren’t just building products: we’re leading a movement. As pioneers in blockchain scalability and security, we're at the forefront of transforming how the world interacts with decentralized applications. We're laying the foundation that will define the next generation of digital commerce, governance, and human interaction. This involves tackling real-world challenges that come with scaling blockchain technology, without compromising on its core principles: decentralization, security and transparency. At the center of this vision is our people. Our team is made up of thinkers and doers that embrace new challenges and seek solutions that push existing boundaries. If you’re energized by solving unprecedented problems, and believe in the role that decentralized systems will play in creating a more equitable digital future, then we want to hear from you. Why Offchain? Offchain is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. We built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution that exists today. Arbitrum’s ecosystem is undergoing tremendous growth with hundreds of projects and dApps on Arbitrum One today. Over 100 different teams have used Offchain technology to build their own Arbitrum chains. Major players in the space, Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave, and Apechain are all using the Arbitrum stack. Arbitrum’s thriving ecosystem wouldn’t exist without our advanced technology stack. Arbitrum, Prysm, ZeroDev. These aren’t just product names. These are tools that are actively reshaping what's possible on Ethereum and advancing its core infrastructure. To top it all off? We’re backed by $124 million in funding. We’ve demonstrated consistent execution with billions in secured value, thousands of supported projects, and infrastructure processing millions of transactions seamlessly. The Role: The Developer Platform team builds KMS, the key-management and signing service behind ZeroDev's embedded, non-custodial wallets. These are smart-account / account-abstraction wallets that developers integrate directly into their applications. End users retain control of their keys, while KMS security orchestrates wallet creation, authentication and signing on top of a third-party signing provider. You'll own production Go services and the cryptographic recovery and trust-model systems around them, working in a small, high-ownership team. This is security-critical infrastructure with a high review bar and external security audits. You should already be comfortable with applied-cryptography fundamentals such as public-key cryptography, signatures and key management. You don’t need to be a cryptographer or have prior experience with areas like MPC or TEEs, but you should be able to reason about cryptographic systems and their security implications. As the platform evolves, you'll also help expand it beyond interactive consumer wallets toward programmatic and automated signing, and programmable transaction policies. What you'll work on: Backend services: build and operate Go services that power wallet creation, authentication, and signing at scale Key recovery and the committee trust model: distributed key generation and secret sharing that keep the service non-custodial, with recovery authority split across independent committees so no single party holds a user's key Trusted Execution Environments: reconstructing and operating on key material under hardware isolation and remote attestation Authentication and signing-provider integration: the user-facing auth methods that gate signing (passkeys / WebAuthn, OAuth, OTP, sessions, 2FA), and integrating with a third-party signing provider (authorization and policy flows, scoped credentials, quorum / consensus approvals) Security review and hardening: writing design docs and decision records, working directly with external security auditors, and turning a high review bar into shipped code Production operations on Kubernetes: observability and alerting, secrets and certificate management, on-call, and the compliance controls the domain requires (sanctions screening, PII-safe handling) Who you are: Strong backend engineer who has shipped and operated production services in Go (or an adjacent systems language and is eager to go deep in Go) Security-first by default: You naturally think about threat models, blast radius and key custody, and write code that holds up to security-critical review Comfortable with applied-cryptography: You understand fundamentals such as public-key cryptography, signatures and key management, and can reason about how they apply to production systems. You don't need to be a cryptographer! Solid on distributed systems and API design: You’re comfortable reasoning about idempotency, failure modes and clean service boundaries Operationally experienced: You’ve worked with production infrastructure and are comfortable with Kubernetes, observability and incident response Clear written communicator: You can explain technical decisions through design docs and decision records, and work effectively in a collaborative, review-heavy environment. Nice-to-have You don't need to have worked with all of these. Experience in one or more would be valuable. Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) such as AWS Nitro Enclaves, Intel SGX / TDX or similar Threshold cryptography / MPC, including DKG, FROST or other threshold signatures, verifiable secret sharing or resharing Account abstraction, including ERC-4337, EIP-7702, smart accounts or embedded / non-custodial wallets Custody or signing infrastructure such as Turnkey or Fireblocks, either as an integrator or builder HSMs, YubiKey / PIV or secure-element integrations Third-party security audits and driving remediation through to completion Authentication technologies such as WebAuthn / passkeys and OAuth / OIDC, or experience with the Go crypto ecosystem Perks: Remote-first global workforce + NY office Professional reimbursement program (facilitates industry conference attendance, certifications, and more) Medical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries) 401k retirement plan + company match (US only) Wellness stipend Home office set up / ergonomic equipment program Attention Offchain Job Seekers: This role cannot be performed in California, or Colorado. Please be advised that there has been a rise in fraudulent recruiter activities, particularly within the Web3 space. If you would like to confirm whether someone is an Offchain employee or the legitimacy of an offer you received, please email jobs@offchainlabs.com At Offchain, we are committed to building a welcoming and supportive workplace for all employees, regardless of their background or identity. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and has an equal opportunity to succeed and thrive. We encourage candidates from all walks of life to apply and join our team.
Location: San Francisco, CA | New York City, NY | Seattle, WA About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the Role We're looking for experienced engineers to build and scale the database infrastructure that powers Claude's products and Anthropic's research. As a Software Engineer on the Databases team, you'll architect and operate the systems that let millions of users interact with Claude while also supporting frontier AI research workloads. You'll help set the database strategy for Anthropic: designing systems that handle billions of API requests, building storage that runs cleanly across GCP, AWS, and a range of deployment models, and creating the reliable data layer that lets research move fast. The Databases team spans three areas: the core database platform (data plane and control plane), data movement (migrations, backfill, and change data capture), and caching. We're hiring across all three. Key Responsibilities Drive the technical direction for database solutions used across Product and Research Design and implement database solutions that scale to support millions of users across Claude's product ecosystem Build and scale database systems through 100x+ growth while maintaining reliability and performance Build the database platform that lets Anthropic engineers ship without thinking about databases or scaling. Architect data storage solutions that operate across GCP, AWS, first-party deployments, third-party deployments, and other environments Develop database infrastructure that serves both product and research workloads with different performance characteristics Build data movement infrastructure (migration tooling, backfill, and change data capture pipelines) that safely consolidates and moves data across the organization Design and operate caching infrastructure, including CDC-driven cache invalidation, that keeps Anthropic's hottest paths fast and correct Partner with product and research teams to understand data requirements and build infrastructure that accelerates their work Optimize database performance, reliability, and cost efficiency at scale Make build-vs-buy decisions for database technologies Minimum Qualifications Significant experience as a software engineer building and operating production database or storage systems Deep knowledge of distributed database architectures and OLTP systems at scale Proficiency with SQL and at least one major relational or distributed database engine (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Spanner, CockroachDB, DynamoDB) Track record of leading large, complex infrastructure projects as an engineer or tech lead Ability to balance moving quickly with the reliability needs of production systems Strong technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications 10+ years building and scaling database systems, with 3+ years leading large-scale projects or teams Experience scaling databases through periods of rapid growth at high-growth companies Experience operating Spanner, CockroachDB, TiDB, AlloyDB, or other globally distributed SQL databases in production Experience with Redis, Temporal, vector databases, or async job processing frameworks Experience with change data capture (Debezium or similar), large-scale data migration, or streaming data infrastructure Experience building multi-cloud or hybrid cloud database solutions Knowledge of database orchestration and automation at scale Contributions to database internals, storage engines, or related open source projects Note: Prior AI/ML infrastructure experience is not required. We value deep infrastructure and database expertise from any domain. Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $320,000 — $485,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role We're looking for experienced engineers to build Anthropic's cache layer as a managed service from the ground up. The Caching team is part of the Databases organization and owns the systems that keep Anthropic's hottest paths fast and correct: a managed Redis fleet, client libraries used across the company, and CDC-driven cache invalidation that solves one of distributed systems' hardest problems the right way. This is a foundational role on a small team with outsized leverage. Every millisecond you take off a hot path is multiplied across every Claude request. You'll set the technical direction for caching at Anthropic, from the data plane to the developer experience, and you'll work closely with product and research teams to make caching something engineers get for free rather than something they have to think about. Location: Hybrid - San Francisco About Vercel: Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the role The CDN Content team is responsible for serving all content that flows through Vercel's global CDN — static assets, optimized images, incrementally regenerated pages, partially prerendered shells, and everything in between — to billions of requests for millions of developers. Our focus is performance: ensuring content is served globally as fast as possible. Caching plays a big role in making that happen, and the team operates a multi-tier caching architecture spanning in-process caches, regional cache services, and object storage across 20+ regions. As a Software Engineer on the team, you'll take on well-scoped projects with real production impact and grow into owning larger pieces of the system. The work spans the serving path end to end, and everything ships through careful, progressive rollouts validated with production data. You'll learn how a planet-scale CDN works from engineers who built it. This is a team where infrastructure meets product: we work in close partnership with frameworks such as Next.js, bringing framework-defined infrastructure to life on Vercel's CDN, and the serving and caching behavior we ship directly shapes the performance and cost that millions of developers see. You'll develop strong instincts for distributed systems, careful production rollouts, and data-driven engineering. If you're based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF or NY), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team. What you'll do Build and improve the services behind ISR, PPR, and image optimization — working in Go, Lua, and TypeScript across the serving path. Execute well-defined projects independently, from implementation through safe rollout (feature flags, shadow modes, progressive deployment) and post-ship validation. Monitor and maintain your work in production: build dashboards, add metrics and alerts, and develop ownership of what you ship. Contribute to the team's observability and testing surface — the dashboards, log views, and e2e test suites that keep a high-change system trustworthy. Participate in the on-call rotation with support from senior engineers, and contribute to incident follow-ups that make the system more resilient. Collaborate with teammates and partner teams (Next.js, CI/CD) through design discussions, code review, and pairing. What you need 2+ years of experience building and operating backend services in production. Proficiency in at least one of Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or a comparable systems language, and enthusiasm for working across a polyglot stack. Solid understanding of HTTP and web fundamentals — caching headers, request/response lifecycle, what a proxy does. You write code you're willing to operate: tested, instrumented, and documented. Curious about how large-scale systems work, and motivated to dig into unfamiliar code and production data to figure things out. A collaborative teammate who communicates clearly, asks good questions, and follows through reliably. Bonus if you Have experience with caching systems (CDNs, Redis/Memcached, application-level caches) at any scale. Have AWS experience, particularly S3 or ElastiCache. Have used Next.js or another modern web framework and understand rendering modes like SSR/SSG/ISR. Have experience with observability tooling (Datadog, Honeycomb, or similar). Have experience with Terraform or Kubernetes. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $172,000 - $258,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process. Disclosures: Privacy: Please review our Job Applicant Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your data.
