The Connectors team is the bridge between ClickHouse and the broader ecosystem. We build and maintain the integrations that make ClickHouse accessible to millions of developers, data practitioners, and AI agents worldwide, from high-level data visualization plugins (Tableau, PowerBI, Superset, Metabase) to connectors for data frameworks (Apache Spark, Flink, Kafka Connect, Fivetran), orchestration platforms, and AI tooling.
Our work directly shapes how companies process massive datasets: real-time analytics platforms that ingest millions of events per second, observability systems that monitor global infrastructure, and, increasingly, AI-powered data applications that redefine how teams work with data. We collaborate closely with the open-source community, internal teams, and enterprise users to ensure ClickHouse integrations set the standard for performance, reliability, and developer experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in the AI & ML ecosystem, you'll be a core contributor owning and evolving critical parts of ClickHouse's AI ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of high-performance database engineering and developer experience. You'll craft tools that enable Engineers and Data Scientists to harness ClickHouse's speed and scale in the frameworks they already use.
We're looking for someone who has firsthand experience as an AI & MLEngineer or Data Scientist. The data practitioner's world is shifting rapidly: databases are no longer just query targets, but they're becoming active participants in AI-powered workflows, serving as vector stores for RAG pipelines, backends for LLM-powered agents, and real-time feature stores for ML inference. You understand these workflows not from the outside, but because you've operated within them. You don't just build integrations, you bring product-level insight into what we should build and why.
You'll own the full lifecycle of key AI/ML integrations, driving architecture, performance, and feature direction across AI & LLM Ecosystem: LangChain, LlamaIndex, n8n, and broader AI tooling: embedding pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation with ClickHouse as a vector store, ML feature stores, and LLM-powered data applications.
ClickHouse's columnar architecture and query performance make it exceptionally well-positioned in this new landscape. Your job is to make that potential real: building the robust, production-ready connectors that make ClickHouse the natural choice when data practitioners design their next-generation AI and data systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and evolve ClickHouse's Python connector and SDK ecosystem, raising the bar on performance, reliability, and API design
- Drive the AI/LLM integration strategy: designing connectors and patterns that make ClickHouse a natural fit in RAG architectures, ML feature pipelines, and LLM-powered data applications
- Engage actively with the open-source community: triage issues, support contributors, advocate for users, and shape the roadmap based on real-world feedback
- Collaborate with Product, Cloud, and other engineering teams to align integration work with broader platform priorities
- Bring a practitioner's perspective to roadmap decisions, grounding prioritization in genuine Data Engineer and Data Scientist workflows
ABOUT YOU
- 7+ years of software development experience, including hands-on time as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer
- Deep, proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade Python connectors, SDKs, or integrations for at least one major platform (orchestration, BI, MLOps, or data transformation)
- Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in production data-engineering contexts: embedding generation, vector search, feature pipelines, or LLM-powered tooling that shipped and ran in production
- Solid experience with the Python data ecosystem: Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic, and related libraries
- Strong database fundamentals: SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and familiarity with OLAP/analytical databases
- Solid experience with concurrent Python: threading, multiprocessing, and async patterns
- Outstanding written and verbal communication; comfortable collaborating across engineering functions and with open-source communities
Bonus points for:
- Prior experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist in a product-facing or platform role
- Familiarity with ClickHouse or similar high-performance OLAP platforms
- Familiarity with the JVM ecosystem
- Experience deploying AI/ML models in production, including inference APIs and vector databases
- Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect is a plus

Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
About The Role:
We're an advertising company that lives or dies by how well we connect to the outside world. We integrate with the major social and ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snap, and more) and wire them into our internal systems for billing and reporting. Data moves constantly and in both directions, at scale, and a meaningful part of our estate is legacy. You'll own the technical direction that keeps all of this coherent, resilient, and evolvable — and you'll stay close enough to the code to prove it.
This is the top of our individual-contributor ladder. You won't have direct reports; your leverage comes from setting direction, building the hard parts yourself, writing the decisions down, and getting engineers and leadership to build behind them. This is not a role that only draws diagrams — you'll ship production code on the riskiest paths, cut the spike that de-risks a migration, and go deep in the incidents nobody else can crack. We work across PHP, Go, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript; PHP and Go are both first-class and here to stay, and the right tool for a problem can land in either. You'll be the person who decides where new capability lands, how legacy gets retired, and how we absorb the constant churn of third-party APIs without breaking delivery.
What You'll Own:
The integration architecture for ingesting from and pushing to external ad/social platforms — versioning, rate limits, backfills, idempotency, webhooks, and graceful degradation when a partner API changes underneath us.
The data architecture for information flowing between platforms and internal systems: pipelines, reconciliation, contracts between services, and the path from operational data to reporting.
A pragmatic strategy for modernizing the legacy estate — strangler-fig migrations, clear service boundaries, and sound judgement about which language and pattern fit each problem — carried far enough into code that teams can follow the pattern.
The engineering bar for integration and data work: the reference implementations, patterns, and standards the org builds against, ratified through the technical committee.
What You'll Do:
Set the technical direction for new products and major changes, and stay the technical decision-maker through build and post-launch — with the authority to course-correct when implementation drifts, and the habit of being in the codebase to catch the drift early.
Build the hard parts yourself.
Write production code on the riskiest, highest-leverage paths; prototype the uncertain approach to turn an argument into evidence; build the reference implementation others extend.
Turn intangible trade-offs — partner API risk, team capability, long-term scalability, cost of change — into clear, written decisions (ADRs) that leadership and the technical committee can sign off on.
Define service and data contracts, integration patterns, and resilience strategies that survive third-party API deprecations and outages.
Go deep when it breaks: lead diagnosis on the gnarliest production incidents and performance regressions, and land the fix and the systemic follow-up.
Identify the infrastructure (compute, data, messaging, observability) needed to meet current and near-future goals.
Raise the bar through others:
mentor engineers and tech leads, set the standard in code review, and drive cross-functional decisions across engineering, product, security, and operations — through influence, not line management.
Evaluate third-party and vendor solutions against our integration and data requirements.
Monitor systems against performance and business benchmarks and escalate with concrete recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
Substantial experience as a staff/principal engineer (or equivalent) on
integration-heavy, data-heavy systems
— ideally where you didn't control the external APIs.
Still hands-on.
You lead by building, and you're demonstrably strong in production code, not only in design.
Depth in at least one of
PHP, Go, or Python
, and comfort across a polyglot estate (TS/JS on the front).
A track record of
modernising legacy systems incrementally
without halting delivery.
Fluency in integration and data patterns: idempotency, eventual consistency, rate limiting, queuing, backfills/reconciliation, API versioning.
A history of
driving technical decisions through influence rather than authority
— getting senior leadership and peer engineers to commit to a direction, and backing it with working code.
Nice To Have:
Experience with ad/martech platform APIs (Meta Marketing, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.).
Data warehouse / analytics pipeline experience (e.g. BigQuery).
Multi-region, multi-currency, or high-volume billing/reconciliation backgrounds.
Why Join Us?
Aleph is a place of many cultures, perspectives, and talents. We support each other, creating an environment of giving and receiving. We value partnership and communication because we believe it takes a group of people to achieve great things. We are energized by our ever-changing industry, our curiosity keeps us learning and seeking out new opportunities.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Design Engineer at Ramp, you sit at the intersection of design and front-end engineering. You bring ambitious ideas to life in real interfaces, prototype directly in code, validate with customers, and ship production experiences with a high bar for craft, performance, and reliability.
Design at Ramp is AI first and builder led. Work starts in an LLM to clarify intent and constraints, moves into tools like Claude and Cursor to explore and build, is tested with real customers, and then comes into Figma for systems and polish. AI and self-serve research are default parts of the workflow, not side experiments.
We are looking for multiple design engineers who think like a designer, code like a front-end engineer, and treat AI as a real collaborator.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and build high-craft product experiences: Own key surfaces end to end, from concept through production. Use layout, interaction, and motion to make complex behavior feel simple and safe.
- Work AI first with Cursor and Claude Code: Use LLMs, Cursor, and Claude Code as your starting point. Draft intent, explore implementations, scaffold components, and refactor with AI in the loop. Apply your own judgment to refine quality.
- Prototype in code and validate with customers: Build interactive prototypes in React and TypeScript and test them with real users using self-serve research tools. Use what you learn to refine flows before full systemization.
- Bridge design systems, product, and brand: Translate Ramp’s design principles into reusable components and patterns. Extend the design system so expressive, brand-aligned moments are easy to build and scale.
- Reveal what our agents are doing without noise: Design patterns that show what AI and automation are doing on behalf of customers. Use hierarchy, copy, and motion to earn trust while keeping the default experience simple.
- Champion performance and accessibility: Ship work that is fast, accessible, and robust. Pay attention to semantics, focus states, reduced motion, and Core Web Vitals. Partner with engineers to debug and optimize over time.
- Share AI-native workflows: Document prompts, patterns, and workflows you use in Cursor and Claude Code. Share them with designers and engineers to raise the bar across the team.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Strong experience across both design and front-end engineering, with ownership from idea to shipped interface
- Fluency in React, TypeScript or JavaScript, semantic HTML, and modern CSS
- Active use of tools like Cursor and Claude Code, with clear opinions on how to get high-quality output
- A portfolio that shows high visual and interaction craft in live experiences or working prototypes
- A systems mindset and interest in building reusable components and patterns
- Care for performance, accessibility, and reliability as part of craft
- Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort pairing with designers, engineers, and marketers
- Based in or open to relocate to NYC
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience contributing to a design system or front-end component library
- Familiarity with experimentation or analytics tools
- Experience with headless CMS, design tokens, or theming systems
- Background in fintech, B2B SaaS, or other trust-heavy domains
- Interest in mentoring others on AI-native workflows

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity and we are looking for candidates from the U.S. or Canada. Residents of Quebec are not eligible for this role.
At Grafana Labs, we build observability tools that help users understand, respond to, and improve their systems – regardless of scale, complexity, or tech stack. We recently started a skunkworks initiative with a mission to bring observability to the rest of the business. Our goal is to make Grafana the single best place where humans and AI agents understand and act on real-time data from across the enterprise. As part of this initiative, we are building an AI-native data intelligence system that gives agents reliable, governed access to enterprise context. This system helps agents retrieve the right data, metadata, definitions, lineage, quality signals, and institutional knowledge without every agent builder having to maintain their own brittle context files. The principle is simple: the context system retrieves, agents decide, and data teams maintain the intelligence.
The new team is a mix of seasoned Grafanistas and new hires. We operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, both as individuals and as a team. Engineers are empowered to make decisions, move quickly, and validate ideas early – while being supported by a deeply collaborative culture that values curiosity, feedback, and cross-functional partnership.
We’re looking for a Senior-level Backend Engineer to help build the first production services for this context layer management system. You will design and ship the core backend architecture that powers ingestion, context storage, retrieval APIs, and agent-facing integrations. This is an early-stage role on a high-autonomy team, so you should be comfortable working through ambiguity, making pragmatic architectural decisions, and building systems that can evolve from internal dogfooding to production-grade SaaS. As the team matures, there’s a broad opportunity to expand or redefine this role based on impact and initiative.
Key responsibilities:
Build the core backend services: Design, implement, test, and operate the first services for context ingestion, context indexing, retrieval orchestration, API access, source configuration, and system administration.
Create a scalable SaaS foundation: Help define and build the architecture for a multi-tenant service, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, audit logs, background jobs, and reliable service boundaries.
Power agent-facing retrieval workflows: Build APIs and service interfaces that allow AI agents, MCP tools, CLIs, and internal applications to retrieve relevant context, provenance, confidence signals, and warnings.
Work across product and infrastructure: Partner with the team to make practical tradeoffs between fast experimentation and long-term reliability, especially as the project moves from prototype to production.
Operate what you build: Instrument services with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards. Use observability tools to understand system behavior and improve reliability.
Contribute to technical direction: Help shape the architecture, service boundaries, storage choices, API contracts, deployment patterns, and engineering practices for a new product area.
Effective communication: You’ll be working in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment, so we need someone who can communicate effectively and contribute across teams.
Ownership and impact: Take full ownership of the AI solutions you develop, ensuring they are not only innovative but also scalable, maintainable, and aligned with real user workflows.
What we're looking for:
Strong engineering skills: Solid experience building production-grade, user-facing software systems. You’re a self-starter, capable of tackling complex engineering problems and making UI design decisions with minimal supervision.
AI experience with a practical mindset: You’re familiar with AI technologies and frameworks, and you focus on delivering high-quality solutions that work in the real world, not just in theory.
Quick iteration and experimentation: You’re comfortable releasing prototypes, collecting feedback, and iterating with a pragmatic mindset.
Proven initiative: You take ownership and drive projects forward, pushing boundaries to find the most impactful solutions. You can deal with ambiguity and are able to define scope where things are loosely defined.
Collaborative attitude: You communicate effectively with your peers. You’re open to feedback, and you bring a solutions-oriented mindset to the table.
Requirements:
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building applications powered by GenAI.
Proven track record of delivering software that made it into production and is actively used by users.
Exposure to working in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience using observability tools to understand and troubleshoot system behavior.
Nice to have:
Experience building or working with agent frameworks or multi‑agent workflows.
Experience as a data analyst or work with data platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake, DataBricks)
Experience building tools for data engineering.

Our brands – including AutoTrader, OLX, Otomoto Property24, and more – are loved by millions. And we're backed by Prosus, one of the world's largest tech investors.
Join OLX and see how far you can go.
Join Our Team as an AI-native Staff Backend Engineer!
Join one of our cross-functional teams in Motors, Real Estate, OLX Classifieds, or Platforms, working remotely from Poland.
Are you someone who is craving scalable problems and dealing with optimizations?
You'll work with a creative, critical, and well-organized team from the comfort of your house, but as close as we have ever been!
You will play a key role in enabling our organisation to scale efficiently.
Who we are looking for:
You can use agentic workflows (Claude Code, Cursor Agent, or equivalent) as your default, not as a novelty.
You practice context engineering, not just prompt engineering; you design the full information architecture an AI agent needs to succeed: repo structure, CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md configs, relevant code context, memory, and tool access.
You understand model routing trade-offs (e.g., when to use Haiku vs. Sonnet vs. Opus) and multi-agent orchestration.
Strong ownership instinct: AI output is a first draft, not a deliverable; you validate, refactor, and take full accountability.
You have strong Coding and Computer Science Fundamentals. Roughly ⅔ of your time will be hands-on technical work: designing solutions, steering and reviewing AI-generated code, developing new ideas, and reviewing others' contributions. The rest goes to cross-team influence, mentoring, and strategic alignment.
Strong background experience in Golang, Java/Kotlin (preferred technologies), and able to work with PHP. Flexible and capable of adjusting to changing project requirements, roles, and backend technologies as needed.
Scalable Systems Expertise. Experience with large-scale web applications, an economic-thinking mindset, and being able to design well-bounded future-proof domain systems, aligned with the business objectives.
Deep expertise in scalable distributed systems, CI/CD, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, AWS, and relational + NoSQL databases.
Big-picture thinker: aligns technical decisions with business strategy, influences without authority.
Clear communicator in English across engineering, product, and leadership audiences.
Self-starter who identifies what needs doing and takes initiative without waiting to be asked.
Skilled Technical Leader and Mentor: Guide and support engineers by setting a strong example. As a Staff Engineer, you are a role model, leading by example and through your expertise.
What you will be doing:
Architect context pipelines for AI agents: curate what enters the context window (repo boundaries, domain knowledge, test outputs, CI feedback) so agents produce reliable, mergeable code, not just plausible code.
Prepare task specifications that are agent-actionable (clear acceptance criteria, referenced modules, explicit constraints)
Design and maintain agent-ready systems: well-bounded repos, comprehensive test suites as guardrails, CI/CD pipelines with structured output agents can parse and act on.
Serve as an AI Champion: join and strengthen our growing AI Champion community, contribute to workshops, curate effective agentic workflows, and mentor engineers on AI-assisted practices. Contribute to org-level AI tooling evaluations and OLX AI practices repositories.
Drive active migration from a legacy monolith to microservices, owning decisions on bounded domain decomposition. Working on making agentic workflows effective across a codebase whose boundaries are actively being redefined.
Set the bar for GraphQL API design, RESTful contracts, database schema, and CI/CD quality across the tribe.
Work with product and engineering leadership to identify high-value problems, propose initiatives, and drive impactful technical direction without direct authority
Guide senior engineers in managing and reducing technical debt with AI as an accelerator, not a shortcut.
