ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
We’re looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to help scale Sierra’s internal systems during a critical period of growth. You’ll be the second member of our IT Engineering team, partnering closely with our IT Lead, GRC Lead, and Platform Engineering team to build and operate the systems that support our company day-to-day.
This is an engineering-first role. Our team approaches IT the same way product engineering teams build software: through code, automation, and well-designed systems. We build internal tools, ship integrations, and operate CI/CD-style workflows to manage identity, security, and infrastructure at scale.
This is a foundational role with significant ownership. You’ll help design and implement core infrastructure, strengthen security controls, and improve how we operate internally. The right person enjoys building high-leverage systems, automating repetitive work, and creating well-documented, scalable solutions that make the entire company more effective.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In your first few months, you’ll focus on:
- Iterating on and improving internal tools that power IT and security workflows
- Deploying a DLP solution and integrating it into automated enforcement pipelines
- Building API-driven integrations between internal systems and our compliance automation platform
More broadly, you will:
- Design and scale internal infrastructure using code and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Build and maintain internal tools and services
- Improve and develop automation pipelines for provisioning, access management, and security controls
- Treat IT systems like software: versioned, tested, and continuously improved
- Partner with Platform Engineering and Security to implement scalable, programmatic solutions
- Create clear, durable documentation to support long-term scalability
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Think of IT problems as engineering problems, and default to building over manual work
- Have strong experience with identity platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, SSO, MFA, SCIM, OIDC)
- Have deployed or managed DLP or related security solutions (e.g., ZTNA, Cloudflare)
- Have extensive experience with IaC (Terraform)
- Are comfortable writing code for automation (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
- Have experience building internal tools or services that integrate via APIs
- Are comfortable working with CI/CD concepts and automation pipelines
- Are fluent in using and administering modern AI tooling
- Understand SaaS lifecycle management and compliance requirements
- Communicate clearly and document your systems well
- Are comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment
EVEN BETTER...
- Background in software engineering or prior experience on a product engineering team
- Experience building internal platforms or developer tooling
- Familiarity with security tooling such as CASB, EDR, or MDM
- Experience with access audits, data residency, or compliance controls
- Experience deploying systems using AWS and infrastructure-as-code
OUR VALUES

We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will lead Notion’s GTM strategy and growth for France, one of EMEA’s largest and highest-priority markets. France is a Tier 1 region in Notion’s country-first EMEA model, with significant room to scale into a standalone, high-growth business.
Notion is shifting from a traditional sales model toward a builder-led model with fewer handoffs, stronger technical fluency, and more direct ownership of customer outcomes. As General Manager, France, you will be the second-line leader responsible for overall revenue outcomes, regional GTM strategy, and the operating model for the French business. You will lead through frontline managers, teams of Business Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants and Outcomes Architects as well as partner cross functionally with Professional Services, Channel Partnerships and RevOps.
This is a hands-on builder-leader role for an AI-native, country-first GTM model. You will bring Notion’s new GTM model to life in France: moving from a segment-first motion to a country-first, AI-native operating system where teams help customers diagnose problems, design agentic workflows, and build real systems with Notion AI.
This role sits on the EMEA Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager, EMEA.
This role will be based in Paris. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the GTM strategy, operating rhythm, and growth plan for France, with accountability for overall regional revenue outcomes across Sales Assist and Self Serve contribution.
- Lead as a second-line manager: hire, coach, and develop frontline leaders and IC teams across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, and supporting GTM functions.
- Scale a country-first GTM motion that brings Notion closer to French customers through local executive engagement, market nuance, and faster field-level decision-making.
- Accelerate the land engine by opening the right front doors, growing professional workspaces, increasing net-new and upgrade opportunities, and connecting self-serve signals to sales-assisted motion.
- Win lighthouse customers and turn them into market momentum by making them wildly successful, telling their story locally, and using those wins to influence peer companies across France.
- Embed Notion’s AI-era GTM model across the team, including agent-enabled customer journeys, first-agent workflow activation, AI/agent demo proficiency, and stronger “build with the customer” motions.
- Make agentic transformation central to the French GTM motion: help customers identify high-value workflows, build and deploy Notion Agents, automate cross-functional work, and measure outcomes from AI adoption.
- Partner tightly with Solutions Consultants, Outcomes Architects, Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers, Professional Services, Marketing and Channel to reduce handoffs and deliver faster, more durable customer value.
- Build “sell with” partner motions in France, including partner-sourced pipeline, co-sell plays, enablement, AI/agentic solution packages, and joint account planning.
- Establish Notion as a visible force in the French ecosystem through executive dinners, field events, startup and community engagement, partner activations, and customer advocacy.
- Represent the voice of French customers back to Product, PMM, Marketing, and EMEA leadership, especially around AI transformation, enterprise requirements, security, compliance, localization, and competitive dynamics.
- Create a talent destination in France by hiring builder-oriented leaders and ICs, raising the craft bar, and developing the next generation of AI-native GTM talent.
- Drive operational excellence across forecasting, pipeline quality, territory planning, inspection cadence, performance management, and cross-functional execution.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A strategic and hands-on GTM operator who has scaled enterprise SaaS or AI businesses in France and knows how to build a market, not just inherit one. You have led through managers, owned complex revenue outcomes, and created local market momentum through customers, partners, community, and talent.
You combine second-line leadership with builder energy. You can set a crisp country strategy, install the operating system to execute it, and step into the field when needed — whether joining an executive customer conversation, sharpening a pipeline plan, coaching a manager, or helping the team translate a customer problem into an AI-powered, agentic workflow.
You are excited by Notion’s shift to an AI-native, country-first GTM model and believe the best GTM teams will increasingly be builders: BDRs who identify transformation opportunities, Solutions Consultants who build with customers in the room, Outcomes Architects who turn early workflows into durable adoption, and Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers who design the technical systems behind complex agentic workflows.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years leading SaaS or AI sales & GTM teams in France.
- Deep knowledge of the French enterprise and startup ecosystem, including executive buyer networks, local partner channels, and market-specific buying dynamics across all market segments (commercial, midmarket and enterprise)
- Proven second-line leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing frontline managers and high-performing IC teams.
- Track record of owning and exceeding revenue targets across new business, expansion, and renewal/churn dynamics.
- Agency & Urgency: experience building or scaling a regional/country business in a high-growth or ambiguous environment.
- Experience selling, implementing, or leading GTM teams around AI, automation, agentic workflows, collaboration, productivity, developer, or data products.
- Strong strategic judgment: ability to define a country plan, segment the market, prioritize accounts and plays, and align cross-functional teams around outcomes.
- Operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline generation, inspection, performance management, territory planning, and sales process.
- Executive presence with CIO, CTO, CPO, COO, and business transformation buyers, with the ability to shape a compelling AI and agentic workflow narrative.
- Strong understanding of modern GTM motions across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, Professional Services, Channel, Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
- Builder mentality and deep AI curiosity: comfortable learning, demoing, and coaching teams on agent-first workflows, proof-of-value motions, and customer co-building.
- Fluency in French and English.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience launching or scaling a country-first or regional GTM operating model.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, APIs, webhooks, connectors, data residency, AI governance, and technical evaluation processes.
- Experience scaling partner, channel, marketplace, or consultant-led GTM motions around AI or workflow transformation.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. The estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is €350,000 - €408,000 per year.

We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s.
WHO WE ARE:
This role sits on the EMEA Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager, EMEA.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the GTM strategy, operating rhythm, and growth plan for Germany, with accountability for overall regional revenue outcomes across Sales Assist and Self Serve contribution.
- Lead as a second-line manager: hire, coach, and develop frontline leaders and IC teams across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, and supporting GTM functions.
- Scale a country-first GTM motion that brings Notion closer to German customers through local executive engagement, market nuance, and faster field-level decision-making.
- Accelerate the land engine by opening the right front doors, growing professional workspaces, increasing net-new and upgrade opportunities, and connecting self-serve signals to sales-assisted motion.
- Win lighthouse customers and turn them into market momentum by making them wildly successful, telling their story locally, and using those wins to influence peer companies across Germany.
- Embed Notion’s AI-era GTM model across the team, including agent-enabled customer journeys, first-agent workflow activation, AI/agent demo proficiency, and stronger “build with the customer” motions.
- Make agentic transformation central to the German GTM motion: help customers identify high-value workflows, build and deploy Notion Agents, automate cross-functional work, and measure outcomes from AI adoption.
- Partner tightly with Solutions Consultants, Outcomes Architects, Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers, Professional Services, and Channel to reduce handoffs and deliver faster, more durable customer value.
- Build “sell with” partner motions in Germany, including partner-sourced pipeline, co-sell plays, enablement, AI/agentic solution packages, and joint account planning.
- Establish Notion as a visible force in the German ecosystem through executive dinners, field events, startup and community engagement, partner activations, and customer advocacy.
- Represent the voice of German customers back to Product, PMM, Marketing, and EMEA leadership, especially around AI transformation, enterprise requirements, security, compliance, localization, and competitive dynamics.
- Create a talent destination in Germany by hiring builder-oriented leaders and ICs, raising the craft bar, and developing the next generation of AI-native GTM talent.
- Drive operational excellence across forecasting, pipeline quality, territory planning, inspection cadence, performance management, and cross-functional execution.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A strategic and hands-on GTM operator who has scaled enterprise SaaS or AI businesses in Germany and knows how to build a market, not just inherit one.
- 12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years SaaS or AI sales & GTM teams in Germany.
- Proven second-line leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing frontline managers and high-performing IC teams.
- Track record of owning and exceeding revenue targets across new business, expansion, and renewal/churn dynamics.
- Deep knowledge of the German enterprise and startup ecosystem, including executive buyer networks, local partner channels, and market-specific buying dynamics.
- Experience building or scaling a regional/country business in a high-growth or ambiguous environment.
- Experience selling, implementing, or leading GTM teams around AI, automation, agentic workflows, collaboration, productivity, developer, or data products.
- Strong strategic judgment: ability to define a country plan, segment the market, prioritize accounts and plays, and align cross-functional teams around outcomes.
- Operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline generation, inspection, performance management, territory planning, and sales process.
- Executive presence with CIO, CTO, CPO, COO, and business transformation buyers, with the ability to shape a compelling AI and agentic workflow narrative.
- Strong understanding of modern GTM motions across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, Professional Services, Channel, Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
- Builder mentality and deep AI curiosity: comfortable learning, demoing, and coaching teams on agent-first workflows, proof-of-value motions, and customer co-building.
- Fluency in German and English.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience launching or scaling a country-first or regional GTM operating model.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, APIs, webhooks, connectors, data residency, AI governance, and technical evaluation processes.
- Experience scaling partner, channel, marketplace, or consultant-led GTM motions around AI or workflow transformation.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic trains and serves Claude across multiple cloud providers and accelerator platforms. The Platform Portability team owns the abstractions, tooling, and deployment infrastructure that make this possible without every engineering and research team needing to become experts in different clouds.
As an engineer on Platform Portability, you'll design and build the systems that let us bring up new capacity, ship our platform to cloud provider platforms & marketplaces, and move workloads between providers with confidence. You'll work closely with our cloud partners on capabilities we need that don't exist yet, and with internal Compute, Inference, and Security teams to make "which cloud is this running on?" a question most engineers at Anthropic never have to ask. Your work directly determines how quickly and reliably we can put safe, frontier AI in front of users — wherever they are.
What you'll do
Our work splits into two workstreams, and we need your help across both.
Portable infrastructure.
We build the provider-agnostic abstractions for storage, messaging, and connectivity that let Anthropic's systems run on any cloud, and they have to hold up at the scale of frontier model inference. You'll design and build those abstractions, plus the tooling that lets internal teams provision, configure, and operate services across clouds through one consistent interface. You'll also hunt down the provider-specific assumptions hiding in our codebase and set the patterns that keep new ones from creeping in.
Claude on partner clouds.
We ship Claude onto third-party cloud platforms, and every launch has to be repeatable. You'll own that delivery end to end, including the build, release, and validation pipelines behind it. You'll work directly with engineering teams at our cloud partners and internal infrastructure stakeholders to land the features we need, debug platform issues, and influence their roadmaps. Expect to go deep on native integrations with each provider, and to do the cross-cutting work that keeps our platform consistent across all of them.
Across both, you'll shape how the rest of Anthropic builds for multiple clouds. You'll review designs with cloud-portability implications, mentor engineers across the org on multi-cloud patterns, and bring internal stakeholders into alignment through clear writing and conversation. You'll also take your turn in the on-call rotation, and you'll design the postmortems, runbooks, and incident response that help us never fail the same way twice.
You might be a good fit if you:
Have a minimum of 8 years of practical experience building and operating production distributed systems
Own large-scale infrastructure systems and lead ambiguous, cross-team technical projects from design through production
Run the same production workload across multiple cloud providers, including the migration or abstraction work that made it possible
Understand how cloud IAM models and networking primitives (VPC peering, private connectivity, service mesh) differ across providers
Write production code in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Rust)
Work confidently with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)
Understand ML infrastructure and supporting interconnects
Ship software through hyperscaler marketplaces or managed-model platforms
Bring a background in security, compliance, or data residency for regulated or sovereign cloud environments
Care about the societal impacts of your work and Anthropic's mission to build safe, beneficial AI

The Claude Platform is growing rapidly and serves developers and enterprises at scale. Reaching the next tier of enterprise customers requires transforming how and where we deploy it, as well as the set of features we support out of the box.
The Distribution team owns that transformation: making the Claude API a cloud-native, managed product that runs wherever our customers need it, cross-cloud and on Anthropic's own infrastructure, with the enterprise-grade security, compliance, and operational capabilities to support it. This work is split across to major workstreams that are covered in the next section, and we need your help across both.
What you'll do
Claude Platform on the Clouds: You will make the Claude Platform a best in class offering on the Cloud Service Provider’s platform (AWS, GCP, Azure), by bringing our API, control plane and Anthropic features through the provider’s front door. You’ll do cross-cutting work across the clouds and also have the opportunity to go deeper with CSPs on native integrations across a range of deep technical problems at unprecedented scale. You’ll get to collaborate across the company with teams such as Infrastructure, Systems, Networking, Databases, Inference and more.
Enterprise Readiness: You’ll make our platform even more suitable for Enterprise, shipping next gen enterprise enablement features that unblock our next wave of regulated customers or enable our existing ones to scale further. You’ll do so in an Enterprise SaaS context, with a specific focus on enterprise growth, security and compliance, with features ranging from key management & encryption, audit APIs, usage visibility, access control, and international data residency. You’ll also partner closely with core teams across the company, as well as collaborate with CSPs to make these available on our cloud platforms.
You might be a good fit if you:
Have a minimum of 8 years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer building scalable distributed systems, ideally operating at tech lead level or equivalent
Take a product-focused approach to platform work and care about building solutions that are robust, scalable, and easy to adopt by our customers
Own large-scale infrastructure systems and lead ambiguous, cross-team technical projects from design through production and can do so independently.
Have experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) at scale and/or Enterprise SaaS experience in a multi-tenant context, with background in security, compliance or data residency for regulated or sovereign cloud environments.
Take full ownership of your work—from design through deployment and operations
Are proficient in Python, Go, Rust, or similar systems language

About the role
As an Applied AI Engineer on our Enterprise team, your role is to guide some of France's largest businesses to the frontier of AI and help them deploy Claude into their operations, their products, and their ways of working. You will become the go-to Claude Platform specialist and trusted technical advisor for your customers, advising their engineering teams on architecture, agent design, and evaluation, and working with the C-level and senior executives who sponsor these programmes to show the business value Claude can create and help them reach a confident decision to build on Claude.
Enterprise deals are different. Procurement cycles are longer, more stakeholders are involved, and success depends on being able to connect the technical work to the outcomes the boardroom cares about. You will be as comfortable advising an engineering team on evaluation and architecture as you are presenting a value case to a CIO or CTO, and you will carry the technical thread across every stage of a multi-quarter engagement. Much of this work happens in French, with French executives and engineering teams, so native or fluent French is essential for the role.
You will partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to take each customer from first conversation, through technical evaluation, proof of value and procurement, to the decision to build on Claude. Once they have decided, you set their systems integration partner up to deliver, agreeing the target architecture and what good looks like, and you stay close as the customer's technical advisor on Claude throughout deployment, while the partner does the build. Working alongside Anthropic's Product and Engineering teams, you will use your knowledge of the Claude Platform to advise on evaluation, recommend architectures that meet enterprise security and scale requirements, and create the technical and business resources that help large organisations succeed with Claude.
Responsibilities
Partner with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to take enterprise customers in France from first conversation, through technical evaluation, proof of value and procurement, to the decision to build on Claude
Lead the technical side of each opportunity through to that decision, and remain the customer's technical advisor on Claude as they deploy
Set customers and their systems integration partners up to deliver: agree the target architecture, define what good looks like, and stay on hand to advise the delivery team as the build progresses
Guide enterprise customers to the frontier of AI, advising them on how to deploy Claude into their operations, their products, and their ways of working
Help customer engineering teams see how they would build on Claude, covering architecture, agent design and evaluation, so they can make a confident decision
Build and present the business value case for Claude with C-level and senior executives, in French and English, linking technical capabilities to measurable outcomes such as cost, revenue, risk, and time to market
Guide customers through long, multi-stakeholder procurement and adoption cycles, including technical evaluations, proofs of concept, security and architecture reviews, and a clear path to production
Work with Account Executives on account strategy, deal qualification, and executive engagement plans, and with Applied AI Architects to keep context and continuity across every engagement
Run executive briefings, technical workshops, and enablement sessions for both leadership and engineering audiences
Navigate enterprise requirements around security, compliance, data residency, and governance, working with Anthropic's internal teams where needed
Identify patterns across enterprise engagements and feed insights back to Product, Engineering, and the wider Applied AI team
Travel to customer sites across France for executive meetings, workshops, and relationship building
You may be a good fit if you have
Native or fluent French, written and spoken, as you will work day to day with French enterprise customers at both executive and engineering level
6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder
Experience in a pre-sales or technical advisory role selling into large enterprises, ideally in the French market, including scoping and designing complex solutions
Experience with value-based selling, meaning you can build a business case, quantify impact, and present it to senior decision makers
Comfort presenting to, and building relationships with, C-level and VP-level stakeholders
Experience owning the technical win in enterprise deals: evaluations, proofs of concept and technical due diligence with engineering, security, legal and procurement teams
Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale
A hands-on engineering background, including building and deploying production applications, so you can relate to engineering leaders and their teams
Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and architecture requirements, and experience working through them with customer teams
The ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences, and to move between industries such as financial services, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing
A passion for making powerful technology safe and beneficial

Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Australia to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centres are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbour, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations.
You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organisations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand.
You will travel regularly within your region, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data centre markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with local councils, state government ministers and agencies, regional development organisations, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the data centre markets you cover
Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations
Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate
Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media
Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement
Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced
Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging
Coordinate charitable donations, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing not for profit partner relationships
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use
Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows
Minimum qualifications
Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local council or state government, or a closely related field
Direct experience working for or engaging with local councils, both elected councillors and council staff, and state governments on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out
A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations
The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings — town halls, hearings, press interviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Australia or willing to relocate there, and prepared to travel regularly across the region
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data centre, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and planning approval processes at the local and regional level
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organisations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing
Logistics

We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Texas to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbor, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations.
You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organizations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build.
You will travel regularly within your region, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with local elected officials, government agencies, economic development organizations, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the data center markets you cover
Coordinate charitable giving, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing nonprofit partner relationships
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use
Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows
Minimum qualifications
Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local or regional government, or a closely related field
Direct experience working for or engaging with local governments and a broad set of community stakeholders on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out
A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations
The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings — town halls, hearings, press interviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Texas or willing to relocate there, and prepared to travel regularly across the region
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data center, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and permitting processes at the local and regional level
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organizations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

As an Applied AI Engineer on our Enterprise team, your role is to guide some of Germany's largest businesses to the frontier of AI and help them deploy Claude into their operations, their products, and their ways of working.
Much of this work happens in German, with German executives and engineering teams, so native or fluent German is essential for the role.
Partner with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to take enterprise customers in Germany from first conversation, through technical evaluation, proof of value and procurement, to the decision to build on Claude
Build and present the business value case for Claude with C-level and senior executives, in German and English, linking technical capabilities to measurable outcomes such as cost, revenue, risk, and time to market
Travel to customer sites across Germany for executive meetings, workshops, and relationship building
You may be a good fit if you have
Native or fluent German, written and spoken, as you will work day to day with German enterprise customers at both executive and engineering level
6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder
Experience in a pre-sales or technical advisory role selling into large enterprises, ideally in the German market, including scoping and designing complex solutions
