THE ROLE AND ITS IMPACT
We're building a brand-new Integration team to power automation at the heart of Xero. You'll design and build workflows and integrations that solve real business problems, removing genuine friction from how we operate. This is modern engineering work: applying software discipline through low/no-code and AI-native platforms, shipping fast, and seeing measurable impact within weeks, not quarters.
Your focus will span the full spectrum: collaborating with stakeholders to understand their pain, translating manual processes into robust automated designs, shipping end-to-end solutions to production, and owning them through monitoring and support. You'll Go Bold by taking problems from conception through delivery, and Go Further by helping shape a team and technology practice that's still forming.
THE TEAM AND HOW THEY CONNECT
This is a brand-new team within our Enterprise Technology function, who support Xero’s internal and customer-facing systems. We prioritise open, transparent conversations where everyone gets heard. We rotate leadership and responsibility to keep learning distributed and ownership shared. And because the team is new, there's real room to influence how we work and potentially the tools we use.
INITIALLY, YOU WILL FOCUS ON
- Ramping up our existing platforms (SnapLogic, Tray) and our engineering standards including source control, observability, error handling, retries and change control
- Shipping your first automations end-to-end, from requirement through to a monitored, documented workflow running in production
- Building working relationships with business stakeholders and learning to elicit requirements and translate them into robust automated designs
- Contributing to quality reviews and participating in our incident response and on-call practices
WHERE AND HOW YOU CAN WORK
This role can be based in Australia (East Coast) or New Zealand, we work a hybrid model with the flexibility to work from home combined with in-office collaboration.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on experience building workflows, integrations, or automations (whether that's through software engineering, integration platforms or middleware tools)
- Comfort using AI tools to solve logic problems and automate tasks, paired with a clear-eyed sense of when a deterministic design is the right choice instead.
- Your skill at eliciting requirements and bridging technical execution with business needs means you translate what people need into what they should build.
- You own work through to a monitored, documented, supportable state. Shipping quality solutions rather than cutting corners to go faster.
- A growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity: you'll help shape the team's standards and patterns as they form, and you're motivated to take on increasingly complex work over time.
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.

Why Sony Interactive Entertainment?
Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
PlayStation Studios has created some of the most loved worlds, characters, and stories in entertainment. Our opportunity now is to build those IP with greater intention — growing audiences, deepening fandom, and creating more ways for people to engage with PlayStation franchises beyond the release of a game.
We are looking for a Lead Franchise Strategist to help shape that work.
This is not an integrated marketing role, a licensing or consumer products role, or a role focused on extending a launch campaign. We are looking for someone who understands how entertainment franchises are built over time — across audiences, stories, formats, products, experiences, and partners.
Gaming experience is valuable but not required. Experience in film, television, animation, publishing, consumer products, licensing, live experiences, or location-based entertainment may be just as relevant.
What matters most is that this person has helped build something. They can look at an IP, understand what makes it special, identify where the strongest audience and commercial opportunities exist, and turn that into a clear and credible plan for growth.
This role will work across PlayStation Studios, Portfolio Strategy, PlayStation Productions, brand, marketing, insights, finance, consumer products, licensing, legal, and Sony Group partners — connecting creative ambition, audience demand, and commercial opportunity while protecting what fans already love.
Key Responsibilities
Lead franchise strategy work for assigned priority PlayStation IP, from initial opportunity assessment through long-term planning and cross-functional alignment
Develop franchise strategies that define audience opportunity, positioning, expansion potential, commercial rationale, and priorities for growth
Proactively identify new ways priority IP could grow, including opportunities that may sit outside PlayStation’s existing franchise playbook
Identify where each franchise has the strongest potential across film, television, animation, publishing, consumer products, music, live and location-based experiences, partnerships, and digital/community engagement
Help define what each franchise should become over time — and just as importantly, where it should not go
Use audience research, fandom insights, market trends, competitive benchmarks, and commercial data to make clear recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners
Translate franchise ambition into practical roadmaps, sequencing, decision frameworks, and execution priorities
Support the development of franchise bibles, IP briefs, creative guardrails, and other tools that enable partners to build from a shared understanding of the IP
Partner with finance and business teams to understand and articulate the value of franchise activity across games and adjacent businesses
Help evolve PlayStation’s approach to long-term franchise planning, bringing greater consistency and rigor to how opportunities are identified, evaluated, and prioritized
Champion the fan perspective — understanding what audiences love, where they want more, what will feel authentic, and where expansion could damage trust
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in franchise strategy, IP development, entertainment strategy, brand expansion, audience growth, or a related field, with a track record of independently leading complex strategic work
A track record of helping build, shape, expand, or revitalize entertainment IP, ideally across multiple formats or business areas
Strong understanding of fandom — how audiences discover, engage with, spend around, advocate for, and stay connected to IP over time
Experience working across creative and commercial disciplines, including areas such as production, research, finance, marketing, licensing, consumer products, and external partnerships
Ability to synthesize complex creative, audience, and commercial information into clear recommendations, influence senior stakeholders, and build alignment around a direction
Strong creative taste and commercial judgment — someone who can see both the magic of an IP and the business around it
Experience with areas such as franchise architecture, audience segmentation, IP positioning, content roadmaps, commercial planning, or long-range portfolio strategy
Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure around IP that may not yet have a fully formed franchise ecosystem
Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and make thoughtful calls about what is worth doing, what should wait, and what should not happen at all
A practical, collaborative approach and the ability to influence across teams without always owning final execution
Experience with global entertainment brands or IP with multi-market potential is a plus
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a builder, not a caretaker. They may have worked on established IP or helped build something from an earlier stage, but they are most energized by the question of what comes next.
They can look at a game world, character, story, or fanbase and see the broader franchise potential — not as a list of extensions, but as a connected system of creative expansion, audience growth, and long-term value.
They are equally comfortable talking about story, fandom, audience behavior, commercial models, and execution realities. They know that not every IP should become everything. They have the discipline to prioritize, the taste to protect what matters, and the strategic instincts to spot where PlayStation can create something fans will genuinely care about.
Success in This Role Looks Like
The priority PlayStation IP they support have clear, actionable long-term franchise strategies
Teams across PlayStation and Sony have a shared understanding of where those franchises can grow, where they should not, and why
New opportunities are identified proactively and evaluated earlier and more consistently, with strong audience, creative, and commercial rationale
Fans have meaningful ways to stay connected with PlayStation worlds between major game releases
The role contributes to a more coordinated and repeatable approach to building PlayStation franchises for the long term

About Onedome
We're a UK fintech building high-throughput digital infrastructure for the mortgage and property space. Recently acquired Trussle. We're taking our platform to the next level: fully automated, self-healing, observable, and built to handle real traffic spikes (we have a TV launch coming up).
The role
You'll be our senior platform engineer. Not a traditional ops role. You'll treat infrastructure as a product, build the internal developer platform our engineers deploy through, and bring SRE discipline into the application tier when it's needed.
You won't have a platform team to lean on. You'll be building that capability. We know exactly what we need.
What you'll do
Own 5 AWS accounts across the organisation (QA, Prod, Infra, plus two others)
Architect and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform. Replace the click-ops that's still around
Stand up CI/CD pipelines engineers actually want to use. Blue/green and canary where it makes sense
Run releases reliably and reduce key-person risk on the deploy process
Set up monitoring, alerting, and incident response so we catch issues before customers do. Define SLIs and SLOs that map to real user journeys
Lead incident response as the primary infra responder. Run blameless post-mortems
Patch and harden the platform. We're a fintech, this matters. IAM least privilege, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, MFA enforcement
Lead infrastructure work for the TV launch: traffic spikes, autoscaling, capacity planning, runbooks
Partner with backend engineers when production issues cross into the app tier. JVM tuning, connection pools, async patterns, memory leaks
Architect multi-region DR. Drive the platform toward self-healing
Optimise cost across DynamoDB, Lambda, and the wider AWS footprint
Set architectural guardrails with tech leads and SWEs. Mentor engineers as the platform capability grows
You must have
6+ years hands-on AWS in production (VPC, IAM, EC2/ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Route53, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS)
Production Terraform (Terragrunt a plus). Multi-environment state management
Production Kubernetes and Docker. EKS specifically
Strong CI/CD experience: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or ArgoCD. GitOps practices
Strong infrastructure security: IAM least privilege, secrets, patching, vulnerability scanning, MFA enforcement
Observability from scratch: CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or ELK
Solid backend competency in Java (Spring Boot), Python, or Node. Understanding of JVM, concurrency, async systems
Comfort being the senior infrastructure person. Self-directed, opinionated, disciplined about documentation
B2/C1 Level English
Nice to have
Fintech or other regulated industry experience
DynamoDB at scale (we run many tables with PITR and S3 exports, Lambda-driven daily incrementals)
AWS cost optimisation track record
Past experience as a first infrastructure hire at a small team
Building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling
AWS DevOps Pro, Solutions Architect Pro, or CKA
Service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd) and DevSecOps practices
Firebase or GCP exposure (we have a small footprint there)
What you won't get from us
A platform team to lean on. You'll be building that capability
Click-ops everywhere. You'll be replacing what exists with IaC
Ambiguity about the work. We know exactly what we need
Working setup
UK working hours.
Fully remote across the EU
Tooling: Microsoft 365, Teams, Planner, Nuclino, GitHub
aws-vault with MFA enforcement on all accounts
Sustainable on-call rotation
Salary: $4,000 – $5,000 / month
Location: New York, NY (HQ); Remote (US)

Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.

This is a remote role based in the United States, with travel to Notion offices, events, and other locations expected—up to 50% based on operational needs.
A GREAT TUESDAY:
- Review regional differences in access control or visitor management and turn them into clear priorities for the global parity project.
- Work with a vendor or building manager to resolve a security gap, balancing local context with global standards.
- Draft an incident update, using AI to improve clarity, then validate the details and judgment behind the message.
- Coordinate international project work while responding thoughtfully to an urgent operational issue.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- By your 90th day, kick off a global physical security parity project that creates shared visibility into regional practices, gaps, and priorities.
- By your 90th day, use AI to accelerate clear, effective communications, reduce busywork, and keep detail-heavy work accurate and reviewable.
- By the end of your first year, take ownership of Notion’s physical security technology program, improving how systems, data, and operating practices support safe and resilient workplaces.
- By the end of your first year, demonstrate program ownership in one major physical security or safety pillar, such as business continuity and disaster recovery, event security, travel risk management, monitoring operations, crisis management, guard force operations, or governance.
- By the end of your first year, deliver multiple international projects with clear plans, sound judgment, and effective coordination across regions, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Demonstrated ability to own physical security or safety programs across multiple sites or regions, including security technology, access control, incident response, or vendor operations.
- Effective project management skills, with the ability to move multiple international projects from ambiguity to clear plans, decisions, and delivery.
- Clear, thoughtful communication with internal partners, vendors, building management, and local stakeholders—especially when translating security requirements into practical action.
- A service-oriented approach and eagerness to help create secure, welcoming workplace experiences; you bring curiosity, ownership, and sound judgment to how you work with others.
- Novice AI proficiency and a willingness to use AI as a practical collaborator for communication, accuracy checks, documentation, and reducing repetitive work.
