If this excites you more than it scares you, you are in the right place.
The Role
We're looking for a Business Development Manager to lead go-to-market for AI Mosaic, one of our exclusive pioneering technologies, launching soon.
You'll be the commercial owner of a brand-new product entering the market. That means building demand from the ground up, opening the right doors, and turning early interest into signed business, primarily across the Japanese market.
We're an engineering- and product-heavy company. What we're missing is someone who can represent AI Mosaic in business conversations, find the demand, and convert it into real revenue.
This is not a passive role. It's hands-on, outward-facing, and revenue-driven. You own the pipeline end to end: from first outreach to closed deal.
What You Will Do
Own go-to-market and new revenue for AI Mosaic as it moves from launch into growth.
Identify, qualify, and close new business across studios, platforms, content networks, and technology buyers, with a focus on Japan.
Own the full sales cycle: outbound, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline with clear stages, forecasts, and accountable ownership.
Represent AI Mosaic at industry events, conferences, and client-facing meetings.
Translate a complex technical product into clear, commercial value for each buyer.
Create and deliver pitch decks, commercial proposals, and business cases tailored to different audiences.
Work with leadership to define target segments, pricing angles, and go-to-market priorities.
Coordinate internally with product, engineering, and legal to scope, structure, and land deals.
Contribute best practices, market signals, and key findings to the company's knowledge base.
What We Are Looking For
Native or fluent Japanese, with confidence in negotiations and senior-level business conversations in the Japanese market.
Proven experience working with the Japanese market, with an existing understanding of how business gets done and deals get closed there.
Solid B2B experience in business development or sales within tech, media, or platform-driven businesses, with a track record of closing deals.
Ability to represent a complex technical product and translate it into clear buyer value.
Proactive in sourcing new opportunities, clients, and markets, without waiting for inbound.
Comfortable attending industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Strong sense of ownership over pipeline, follow-ups, and revenue outcomes.
Bonus Points
Working English for internal collaboration with a global team.
Experience in streaming platforms, tech, media, or the Japanese content industry.

About the company:
KIEFER is building Greece's integrated AI ecosystem. From renewable energy infrastructure and AI systems to robotics and enterprise applications, we connect the technologies that power Europe's intelligent future. Founded in 2014, KIEFER has delivered 600MW+ of energy projects and is now developing sovereign AI infrastructure, enterprise AI products and physical AI systems for Greece and Southeast Europe.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Sales Director to own the commercialization of KIEFER's AI, Robotics, and Operational Intelligence stack directly with major utilities, grid operators, and energy conglomerates in Greece and the broader EU market.
You will act as the bridge between KIEFER's advanced AI engineering and the operational realities of the energy sector - a highly technical, strategic sales role that requires peer-to-peer credibility with utility COOs, CTOs, and Heads of Innovation.
This is not a generalist SaaS sales role. You should be comfortable navigating long, complex procurement cycles and public tenders, translating AI and robotics capability into operational and financial ROI, and bringing market reality back to the CEO and Product team to help sharpen product-market fit.
What you will do
- Build and close a high-value pipeline of enterprise deals across the Greek and SE European energy sector (e.g., DEDDIE, IPTO, PPC, Mytilineos, HELLENiQ Energy)
- Translate KIEFER's AI, robotics, and Sovereign AI Data Center capabilities into concrete operational and financial ROI for grid operators
- Navigate complex procurement cycles, public tenders, and regulatory requirements (NIS2, EU AI Act, DORA) inherent to critical-infrastructure sales
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product Architecture to run a technical pre-sales motion, opening doors and setting the strategic frame while the team proves technical capability
- Act as the voice of the energy market back to the CEO and Product team, helping refine PMF based on real utility pain points (SCADA integration, substation inspection, edge compute)
- Own account planning and relationship management for KIEFER's most strategic energy accounts, including the existing DEDDIE/IPTO relationship
What you will need
- 10+ years selling complex, high-value technical solutions directly to utilities, grid operators, or large energy conglomerates
- Deep understanding of grid infrastructure, substation operations, EMS/ADMS, SCADA, and industrial automation protocols (e.g., IEC 61850)
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for European critical infrastructure (NIS2, EU AI Act, DORA, data sovereignty, on-premise/air-gapped deployment)
- Proven track record closing 6-to-7-figure enterprise deals through long, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles (technical, legal, procurement, C-suite)
- Peer-to-peer credibility with utility COOs, CTOs, and Heads of Innovation
- Based in Athens, with willingness to travel regularly across SE Europe
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with DEDDIE/HEDNO, IPTO, PPC, Mytilineos, HELLENiQ Energy, or comparable SE European utilities/energy conglomerates
- Experience navigating EU AI Act or DORA compliance in a commercial context
- Background bridging Energy EPC and technology/AI commercialization
- Experience selling robotics or industrial automation (e.g., inspection, edge compute) alongside software
- Prior exposure to sovereign, on-premise, or air-gapped AI infrastructure deployments
What is there for you
- Impact - sell the core intelligence layer that will define how national critical infrastructure operates for the next decade
- Access - report directly to the CEO and work alongside top-tier strategic advisors
- Unfair advantage - sovereign GPU infrastructure and strategic partnerships with NVIDIA, and Unitree
- Ownership - build and scale the sales motion for KIEFER's energy vertical across SE Europe
- Category - be at the forefront of Europe's shift toward Autonomous Operations and sovereign AI infrastructure
- Culture - direct CEO access, high autonomy, low bureaucracy

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Start with Frontline DB, which brings together employee and candidate profiles, access and account data, time-off information, shift planning, and selected operational results — with a backlog of initiatives across development, integrations, data mapping, documentation, and process improvement.
- Own solutions end to end: dig into the business need, clarify requirements with stakeholders, propose a practical approach, and turn it into a working MVP.
- Work directly with HR, Operations, People Partners, and Support, and over time extend scope into integrations with HiBob, Ashby, and other internal systems.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Develop and improve PostgreSQL data structures for custom internal solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain automation and integration workflows in n8n.
- Build internal applications, forms, and user interfaces in Retool.
- Integrate HR and enterprise systems through REST APIs, webhooks, and other integration methods, with custom logic in Python and/or JavaScript.
- Test, troubleshoot, document, and maintain what you build — and handle internal support requests for existing tools and workflows (about 20% of the role).
- Grow MVP solutions into reliable internal products as processes and needs evolve.
WHAT MAKES YOU A STRONG FIT
- Confident SQL skills and experience with relational databases — you can query, validate, and interpret data independently.
- Hands-on experience with n8n, Make, or another low-code automation platform.
- Experience with Retool or another platform for building internal applications and forms.
- Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
- Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and common integration patterns, plus a basic grasp of testing, debugging, and error handling.
- A proactive working style — you read incomplete requirements, make reasonable technical decisions independently, and know when to escalate — with good English for working with international stakeholders.

An overview of this role
The Observability, Monitoring, and Integrations team manages observability, monitoring, and detection for systems that support customer purchasing and use of GitLab. As a Staff Backend Engineer on the Fulfillment Workflow Monitoring (Catch All) team, you'll set the technical direction for the telemetry, detection, and reconciliation tooling that identifies billing, data, and event anomalies across CustomersDot, Salesforce, and Zuora before they can affect revenue or the customer experience.
This is a greenfield team. You'll help build it from the ground up, shaping its operating rhythm, incident response model, and quality bar. You'll use telemetry and machine learning to identify issues early and help resolve them. Because Monetization changes can directly affect revenue and often involve confidential or financial information, you'll use strong judgment, careful rollout practices, and a high bar for reliability. This role is opening at the Staff Backend Engineer level (grade 8).
What you’ll do
Design, build, and operate observability across the Monetization stack, including metrics, logs, and traces, using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Implement automated detection for billing, data, and event anomalies, and route alerts to the responsible feature teams.
Develop reconciliation and data integrity checks across usage and billing pipelines.
Define and track service level objectives and service level indicators, write runbooks, and take part in incident response to measure and improve Monetization system reliability.
Explore artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to predict system anomalies and accelerate resolution.
Review and offer feedback on merge requests from other Monetization engineers.
Collaborate with Product, Finance, Support, and other partners to turn operational needs into reliable tooling.
What you’ll bring
Professional experience with Ruby on Rails, including building and operating applications such as CustomersDot.
Experience in site reliability or observability engineering, including monitoring, alerting, service level objectives and indicators, runbooks, and incident response.
Experience setting technical direction for observability, reliability, or detection work and bringing other engineers along.
Experience building anomaly detection, monitoring, or risk management tooling.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
Exposure to analytical data stores such as ClickHouse and the change data capture and event-streaming pipelines that feed them, including NATS JetStream.
Experience owning projects from concept through production, communicating clearly about complex technical and organizational problems, and proposing iterative solutions.
Working knowledge of Python for anomaly detection and data work, or experience with billing, financial, or other business-critical systems, including Zuora or Salesforce, is a plus.
About the team
The Observability, Monitoring, and Integrations team is part of GitLab's Monetization section, a highly cross-functional group that partners with Sales, Finance, IT, and Support to deliver secure and reliable purchasing, billing, provisioning, and utilization workflows. The Monetization section includes the Purchase, Subscription Lifecycle, Billing Engine, Platform and Infrastructure, Observability, Monitoring, and Integrations, and Compliance teams.
This role is on the Fulfillment Workflow Monitoring (Catch All) team and reports to the Engineering Manager, Observability, Monitoring, and Integrations. We work asynchronously, plan and reflect regularly, and share responsibility for deployments, incident management, testing, and safe rollouts. We're increasingly focused on how artificial intelligence and machine learning can improve our Monetization infrastructure and provide predictive insights.

You'll work closely with the head of B2B Marketing, Sales, Growth, Product, and Revenue Operations in a fast-paced environment where experimentation, speed, and measurable business impact matter. You'll need to be equal parts strategist and operator: someone who sets the vision and is just as comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute it.
What you'll do:
Own Pipeline Generation
- Develop and execute the demand generation strategy to drive qualified pipeline across enterprise and PLG motions.
- Build integrated campaigns spanning paid media, content, email, webinars, events, partnerships, and outbound support.
- Create scalable account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting enterprise customers and strategic accounts.
- Optimize lead generation, conversion, and pipeline velocity across the entire funnel.
Scale Marketing Programs
- Launch and iterate campaigns quickly using data-driven experimentation.
- Partner with Product Marketing to translate product launches, customer stories, and industry trends into high-performing campaigns.
- Collaborate with Growth Marketing to ensure cohesive messaging and customer journeys across self-serve and enterprise audiences.
- Support field marketing initiatives, executive events, and industry conferences.
Measure & Optimize
- Define KPIs and build reporting around pipeline generation, attribution, CAC, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to improve lead routing, scoring, attribution, and campaign measurement.
- Continuously test messaging, audiences, creative, and channels to maximize performance.
- Identify opportunities to automate and scale marketing operations.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Sales leadership to align campaigns with pipeline priorities and revenue goals.
- Partner with Customer Success to drive expansion and customer marketing initiatives.
- Help establish scalable demand generation processes as the company continues to grow globally.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or integrated marketing at a high-growth SaaS or AI company.
- Proven track record of building programs that generate measurable pipeline and revenue.
- Strong understanding of enterprise marketing motions, ABM, and full-funnel demand generation.
- Experience managing paid acquisition channels, lifecycle marketing, webinars, events, and integrated campaigns.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring attribution, funnel performance, and campaign ROI.
- Comfortable partnering closely with Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps, and executive leadership.
- Hands-on operator who enjoys building from scratch while thinking strategically.
- Experience with modern marketing and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, Clay, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- We offer a competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to align with impact, experience, and long-term growth.
- Base Salary: The anticipated salary range for this role is $220,000 - $320,000, depending on experience, skills, scope, and location.
- Equity: In addition to cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in the company’s stock option program and share in Higgsfield AI’s long-term growth.
- Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees professionally and personally, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a competitive 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, and additional benefits and perks.
- The opportunity to work on ambitious AI products alongside a highly experienced, fast-moving, and international team.
- Significant ownership, direct impact, and opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.
