From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
The way data practitioners write, debug, and ship dbt code is changing fast — and you'll be the person shaping what that experience looks like at the frontier of AI-assisted development.
As the Product Manager for Developer Experience, you will own the end-to-end developer workflow in dbt Cloud: the
Studio IDE
,
Developer Agent
(our AI coding assistant), the
Cloud CLI
, and the
dbt VS Code Extension
. Together, these surfaces are the primary daily touchpoint for tens of thousands of data practitioners worldwide — from seasoned analytics engineers writing complex SQL to newer practitioners who rely on AI to help them move faster and with more confidence.
This role sits at the intersection of developer tooling and leading-edge AI. You will work in close partnership with the
Fusion team
— the engine powering dbt's next-generation compilation, intelligence, and platform capabilities — to ensure that our developer surfaces fully leverage Fusion's capabilities and that developer needs are represented in the Fusion roadmap. The tight feedback loop between Developer Experience and Fusion is core to how dbt Cloud will evolve, and you'll be a key architect of that relationship.
This is a role for someone who has thought deeply about what makes IDEs and developer tools great, and who is excited to reimagine those workflows in an era where AI can lower the floor for new practitioners while raising the ceiling for experts.
This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
In This Role, You Will
Own the developer experience roadmap
across Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and the VS Code Extension — from near-term iteration to long-term vision.
Partner deeply with the Fusion team
to align on capabilities, surface Fusion-powered intelligence (SQL comprehension, compute, context) through developer-facing UX, and co-define the boundary between platform and product.
Lead AI-native product development
for Developer Agent — defining what a best-in-class AI coding assistant looks like for the full spectrum of dbt users, from expert analytics engineers to practitioners who are newer to code. This includes agentic workflows, context-aware suggestions, natural language interactions, and guided development experiences that meet users where they are.
Drive IDE and tooling strategy
informed by a deep understanding of modern development environments — think about what VS Code, Cursor, and other leading IDEs get right, and translate those instincts to the dbt Cloud context.
Define and execute cross-functional collaboration
with engineering, design, and GTM teams to ship high-quality developer experiences on a predictable cadence.
Build tight feedback loops
with the dbt community and enterprise customers to continuously improve developer tools, with particular attention to power users and technical practitioners.
Conduct market and user research
to understand the competitive landscape for developer tooling and AI-assisted development, and bring sharp external perspective into the roadmap.
Align developer experience investments
to broader company goals, product-led growth metrics, and the Fusion platform strategy.
What Success Looks Like
Developer satisfaction and engagement metrics (activation, session depth, feature adoption) trending up across Studio, Canvas, CLI, and Developer Agent.
Developer Agent is a differentiated, well-regarded AI coding experience for data practitioners — not just a feature, but a product.
The Studio IDE and Canvas deliver a cohesive, fast, and intelligent development workflow powered by Fusion capabilities.
Strong, trust-based execution partnership with the Fusion team: shared roadmap visibility, clear API contracts, and coordinated shipping.
The Cloud CLI is a first-class product that developers actively choose, not a fallback.
You're a Good Fit If You Have
5+ years of product management experience
, with meaningful time spent on developer tools, IDEs, or technical platforms.
Direct experience managing IDE or developer environment products
— you have an informed point of view on what makes development tools excellent and where modern IDEs fall short.
Demonstrated engagement with AI-powered development tools
— you've used, studied, and formed strong opinions about AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Devin, etc.) and how they change the development experience.
A strong technical foundation that allows you to work fluently with engineering partners, reason about system architecture, and contribute meaningfully to technical decisions.
Experience conducting user research and translating developer feedback into prioritized, scoped product work.
Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a crisp spec, give a compelling demo, and synthesize complex tradeoffs for diverse audiences.
Comfort working asynchronously as part of a distributed, remote team.
You'll Have an Edge If You Have
Hands-on experience with dbt or similar SQL-first transformation frameworks.
Prior experience building or shipping AI agent features (agentic UX, multi-step LLM workflows, context management).
Familiarity with LSP (Language Server Protocol), tree-sitter, or other IDE infrastructure primitives.
Experience with CLI tooling and developer workflow automation.
Background in open source software development or strong engagement with developer communities.
Knowledge of modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, etc.) and the analytics engineering ecosystem.

About the role
The Global Alliance Lead is one of the most strategically important roles in our Ecosystem. You will own our relationship with one of the world's leading technology and transformation partners end-to-end — from C-suite engagement through to practitioner enablement and joint pipeline creation. You will be the architect of how the GSI and NewCo go to market together, ensuring our platform becomes the trusted data foundation inside the GSI’s agentic AI delivery practice globally.
This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Global Head of GSI Relationships. You will orchestrate across sales, partner solution architecture, marketing, and partner operations — bringing the full weight of the organisation to bear on one of our highest-leverage commercial relationships.
What You'll Do
Relationship strategy and executive engagement
Own the global GSI relationship at partner and C-suite level, building trusted relationships with Client, practice and delivery team leads.
Define and execute a multi-year joint strategy that positions dbt + Fivetran as the default open data infrastructure layer within the GSI’s enterprise AI and agentic workflow delivery
Represent NewCo at GSI’s internal forums, client briefings, and industry events — articulating a compelling narrative around open data infrastructure and its relevance to the GSI’s strategy.
Platform integration and practitioner adoption
Drive adoption of the dbt + Fivetran platform within GSI delivery teams — ensuring practitioners, solution architects and practice leads are certified, confident, and actively recommending the platform in client engagements
Work with GSI's practice leadership to embed NewCo's platform into their business groups, standard delivery architectures, RFP responses and client proposals — with particular focus on GSI's Data & AI practices
Enablement and go-to-market
Design and execute a frictionless enablement programme for GSI practitioners globally — certifications, reference architectures, use case playbooks, and joint delivery assets
Partner with GSI's marketing and alliances teams to develop joint go-to-market campaigns anchored to open data infrastructure, trusted AI delivery, and closing the gap between AI POC and production
Support GSI in building and positioning client-facing agentic AI value accelerators — with NewCo platform as the foundational data layer — the "NewCo inside" model
Pipeline and opportunity development
Source and develop new pipeline opportunities through the GSI relationship — identifying client situations where open data infrastructure creates measurable value.
Drive co-sell motions alongside GSI account teams, ensuring NewCo is present and influential at the point of client opportunity
Maintain a rigorous view of GSI-engaged pipeline — tracking opportunity sourcing, progression, and closed business attributed to the alliance
Telemetry and performance
Define and track the signals that indicate a healthy, high-performing GSI relationship: certifications, sourced opportunities, platform deployments, practitioner engagement, and joint wins
Report regularly to the Global Head of GSI Relationships on alliance health, pipeline contribution, and strategic progress
Identify risks and gaps in the relationship early and mobilise internal resources to address them
What you will bring
15+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, or partner management within the data, cloud, or enterprise software industry
Demonstrated experience managing complex, global relationships with major consulting firms or global system integrators at a senior level
Deep understanding of the modern data stack and the business value of open data infrastructure — dbt, Fivetran, or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Ability to engage credibly at C-suite and partner level within a global consulting organisation — understanding how GSIs make decisions, build practices, and go to market
Strong commercial instincts — able to identify, thoroughly qualify and develop joint pipeline opportunities, not just manage existing relationships
Track record of operating as a cross-functional orchestrator — influencing without direct authority across sales, engineering, marketing, and operations
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — able to translate technical platform capabilities into compelling business narratives for consulting and enterprise audiences
Familiarity with AI, agentic workflows, and the data governance landscape is a strong advantage + strong knowledge of GSI's operating model and contacts within.
Willingness to travel globally to engage GSI leadership and teams across regions
What Success Looks Like in Year One
A clearly defined joint strategy with GSI signed off at partner Executive level and on track to primary Global Strategic Practice.
Material increase in GSI practitioner certifications and active platform deployments across Data & AI and Insights & Data practices
GSI-sourced pipeline contributing measurably to NewCo's revenue
At least two joint go-to-market campaigns live in the market delivering pipeline — anchored to GSI's agentic AI and trusted data agenda
First client-facing agentic value accelerators built on NewCo platform delivered with GSI — positioning NewCo as the trusted data infrastructure inside GSI's AI delivery
A telemetry framework in place tracking alliance health and pipeline influence
Why This Role
This is a rare opportunity to own a marquee relationship at a defining moment for both companies. GSI’s are publicly committing to capturing the full value of the agentic AI revolution for customers — and the merged dbt + Fivetran platform is the trusted data infrastructure that makes AI production-ready. The person who builds this alliance well will sit at the intersection of the two most important forces in enterprise technology right now: the scale of a global systems integrator and the open infrastructure that makes AI trustworthy enough to deploy at scale.
This position qualifies for Fivetran’s incentive plan, and it’s common for employees in this role to achieve the total on-target earnings.

About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated
Staff Technical Writer
to join our Product Documentation team as we support the company in achieving top-priority objectives & key results
Documentation at dbt is both a community asset and a foundational product surface. The Documentation team accelerates product adoption and user success by helping data practitioners learn, explore, and confidently use dbt.
We operate using a docs-as-code and docs-as-a-product approach within an open-source model, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Developer Experience, and customer-facing teams. By balancing deep product knowledge with a beginner’s lens, we not only create accurate, easy-to-read documentation for humans and bots alike, but also surface insights that drive product improvements.
In this role, you’ll help new users reach their “a-ha” moment faster, support experienced practitioners as they expand into new areas of the ecosystem, and uphold the clarity, accuracy, and trust that our community depends on.
If you are looking for an exciting opportunity at a collaborative, dynamic and fast-growing company, this role could be for you!

Addressing ongoing issues - 20%
Independently troubleshoots issue requests, and helps less-senior writers learn how to do the same
Has a solid understanding of when a swathe of issues can be folded into a larger content strategy improvement project instead of addressing each issue singularly
Independently notices overarching issues in our docs and figures out how to address them
Focuses on more complex issues, while analyzing data across multiple dimensions to evaluate solutions and drive decisions
Triages and reviews open source PRs and issues, and alerts the team when these are piling up
Peer reviewing - 15%
Provides and explains their insightful and compassionate editorial and technical feedback when reviewing the work of peers
When providing feedback, consistently notices gaps in pages outside of the pages contained in the pull request they’re reviewing. They evaluate the problem being solved instead of just the pages being submitted for review.
Gains agreement, consolidates differing opinions, and enables team to move forward
Reviews are consistently centered around clarifying the experience for users
Skills We're Looking For
Required:
Minimum 5 years writing technical documentation for developer tools, including a solid understanding of version control and single-sourcing content, and experience managing documentation systems.
Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and carry out complex writing projects with high attention to detail along the way.
Ability to compassionately give and receive editorial and technical feedback.
Communicate clearly and concisely, especially when working asynchronously or with a distributed team.

To do so, you’ll lead the business, adoption, and governance workstream across high-value enterprise deployments:

- Lead the organizational workstream during focused on-site deployments, from executive kickoff to closeout.

BUILD THE AUTOMATION OPERATING MODEL
- Guide customers in implementing the automation operating and governance model they need to scale n8n sustainably.
- Help define ownership, decision-making, prioritization, enablement, and adoption practices across technical and business teams.
- Leave customers more capable and confident by making automation part of how their organization works.
IDENTIFY, PRIORITIZE, AND PROVE AUTOMATION OPPORTUNITIES
- Map business processes to uncover high-impact automation opportunities across unfamiliar customer environments.
- Develop and manage an automation roadmap with clear prioritization criteria, sequencing, and ROI logic.
- Build business cases in the customer’s language by estimating impact, modeling value, and connecting automation to executive priorities.
NAVIGATE ORGANIZATIONS AND SCALE WHAT WORKS
- Build trust across technical teams, operators, executives, champions, skeptics, and the people who actually make decisions.
- Identify upsell and expansion signals during engagements and hand them cleanly to the Customer Success team.
- Feed learnings from every deployment into n8n’s internal playbooks, product feedback loops, and repeatable deployment motions.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🚀 Enterprise deployment experience: You have worked in deployment, implementation, consulting, solutions, or technical customer success roles at a B2B software company.
- 🏢 On-site customer experience: You know what it takes to drive adoption with enterprise customers in complex, high-stakes environments.

- ⚙️ Operating model thinking: You can help customers define the governance, ownership, and ways of working needed to scale automation sustainably.
- 📊 ROI and prioritization: You can build value cases, estimate impact, and help customers prioritize an automation roadmap based on business outcomes.
- 🛠️ Technical fluency: You do not need to write code, but you understand technical architecture, can demo convincingly, and can spot when a solution is not aligned with the customer’s needs.
- 🤝 Organizational navigation: You know how to build trust across levels, manage competing priorities, and identify who can actually make decisions.
- 🎙️ Storytelling: You can make complex technical concepts clear, compelling, and easy for senior stakeholders to champion internally.
- ✈️ Travel readiness: You are willing to travel for on-site engagements roughly 30–50% of the time across Europe.
- 🇬🇧 English fluency: You communicate clearly and confidently in English with technical, operational, and executive audiences.

- 🧩 Product feedback instincts: You know how to turn field learnings into crisp feedback that helps product and engineering teams build what customers actually need.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll help define how enterprise customers adopt automation in the real world — not through long consulting decks, but through focused deployments that create momentum, prove value, and make teams more capable. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, technology, operations, and change management, partnering closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to turn complex customer environments into clear automation roadmaps.
You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first company with strong momentum, a passionate technical community, and a culture that values autonomy, experimentation, and ownership. About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We are looking for a Security Software Engineer, IAM, to build identity and access management (IAM) infrastructure as software, not administer identity products, and this role suits a software engineer who has gone deep on identity or an IAM engineer with a strong engineering background. You will own identity and IAM end to end, replacing the approval queue with access that is self-serve, time-bound, and provable, built so identity is defined as code, reviewed in pull requests, deployed through CI, and observable in production, and you will help decide how agents act on behalf of users and systems. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York City, with three days a week in the office.
What you’ll do:
Migrate Okta and related IAM configuration to Terraform so every identity change is reviewed, tested, and versioned, and help engineering teams adopt infrastructure as code
Build a self-serve access platform, including just-in-time (JIT) access, that lets team and system owners define, request, and time-bound their own access
Own provisioning, deprovisioning, and access review workflows that generate System and Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2) audit evidence automatically
Unify corporate IAM (employee identity, SaaS access, devices) and production IAM (service accounts, infrastructure permissions, on-call access) into one identity plane, and enforce least-privilege access across cloud, SaaS, and production infrastructure
Define and build how agents request and hold access, working with the Accounts team on product-facing identity
What you need:
7+ years building and owning identity, access management, or platform security systems, including IAM design across corporate (Okta or equivalent) and production (AWS or GCP) environments
Built and operated production services or self-service platforms in TypeScript/Node.js, Go, or Python, including REST APIs
Implemented OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), and System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) at the protocol level, including failure modes such as token replay and sync drift
Managed IAM infrastructure as code in Terraform
Bonus if you:
Led a Terraform migration for IAM or identity infrastructure at scale
Designed or built a JIT access system or access governance platform
Designed delegation or scoped-credential models for agents or service identities
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $208,000 - $312,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

We are hiring the Procurement Lead to build the procurement function and policy from the ground up and drive standardization and savings across our largest spend categories: Networks, Sales & Marketing, and IT/Software.
You will design how Airalo buys, embed a disciplined purchase-to-pay process into our new ERP, and turn fragmented, function-by-function spending into a governed, competitive, and auditable process, and drive savings to every dollar we spend with third parties.
This is a senior role for a builder who will set the policy, run the high-value negotiations, and deliver hard savings that fund growth and protect EBITDA. You will report to the CFO and partner across every spending function in the company.
What you'll do:
Procurement policy & governance
Design and roll out Airalo's procurement policy, delegation-of-authority thresholds, supplier onboarding, and competitive-tendering standards.
Establish clear, proportionate approval workflows that bring control without slowing the business.
Category management
Own the category strategies across the major spend areas: network and infrastructure spends, S&M (agencies, media, martech), IT and SaaS, and professional services.
Build single source of truth with spends visibility and a vendor taxonomy so we know what we buy, from whom, and on what terms; build standardization and a framework to adhere to credit terms.
Maintain a validated savings pipeline reported with Finance, and ensure segregation of duties, audit trail, and anti-fraud controls aligned to the SOX-lite framework.
Strategic sourcing & negotiation
Lead competitive sourcing and high-value negotiations on a total-cost-of-ownership basis; set and deliver savings targets and improve working capital.
Partner with Finance's zero-based budgeting and the process to convert sourcing wins into budgeted savings;
Supplier & contract management
Own master agreements, a renewals calendar, supplier performance, and third-party risk and due diligence.
Purchase-to-pay process & systems
Follow through the PO/PR process and three-way match, support clean accruals, and embed procurement into the ERP as a core stakeholder.
What you'll bring:
10+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial / category management, including building or materially scaling a procurement function in a fast-growth company.
Deep category expertise across indirect spend (marketing, IT/SaaS, professional services); exposure to network, telecom, or infrastructure spend like capacity, routing, wholesale in a must have.
Track record of running competitive tenders and complex negotiations with measurable, validated savings.
Hands-on experience designing PO/PR and purchase-to-pay processes, potentially within an ERP (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft) environment.
Strong command of procurement policy, delegation of authority, supplier risk, and controls.
Influence without authority: credible with senior leaders across Networks, Marketing, and Technology, able to change buying behaviour with evidence.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a high-growth company, including controls and audit-readiness maturity.
Direct involvement in an ERP / P2P implementation.
Comfort operating in a globally distributed, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction business.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Financial Intelligence team, part of Ramp's Applied AI org, powers the agentic analysis, FP&A, and book-close experiences that over 70,000 businesses rely on to run their finances. We turn messy financial data into a fast, trustworthy, governed data layer that AI agents can work with and build artifacts on top of.
This is a frontend-leaning role for an engineer who obsesses over interaction design and data-dense UX, but is just as comfortable designing the API that feeds it. You'll own the surfaces customers actually touch: agentic financial analysis, month-end close, and exploratory data experiences that feel as polished as the best business intelligence tools. If you want your frontend work to sit at the center of real production LLM systems rather than being bolted on at the end, this is the role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and ship customer-facing AI experiences end to end, from React UI through to the APIs and data contracts behind them
- Build BI-tool-quality interfaces for agentic analysis, FP&A, and book-close workflows: fast, dense, interactive, and trustworthy
- Own complex client-side state and rendering challenges across data-heavy, real-time, agent-driven surfaces
- Partner on API and backend design so the full stack serves the product, not the other way around
- Use the latest coding models and agentic workflows as a core part of how you ship every day
WHAT YOU NEED
- Deep frontend expertise: TypeScript, React, and sophisticated state management in complex, data-intensive applications
- Fluency with the latest AI coding models and agentic development workflows. This is how the team works, and we expect you to be excellent at it
- Comfort working across the stack, including API design and backend systems, even with frontend as your center of gravity
- A track record of shipping polished, production-grade product experiences and owning them through ambiguity
- Bonus: experience with BI tools, data visualization, or financial/analytics products
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity and we are looking for candidates from the U.S.
The Opportunity
Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Engineer (AI & Automation) to own the AI agent infrastructure and automation platform that powers our Marketing Operations organization. You’ll build multi-agent architectures, LLM integrations, and backend services that connect AI models to internal and third-party data platforms. You’ll ship production systems that teams depend on daily.
This is a high-autonomy role where you own the technical direction. You’ll identify the highest-leverage problems across Marketing, RevOps, and SDR teams, design the solutions, and ship them. You’ll define the technical direction for the automation platform (data models, API contracts, shared libraries, reference architectures) and partner with Data Engineering, GTM Systems, and Field Operations to build scalable, self-service automation that eliminates manual work and drives operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
Agentic Systems & AI Infrastructure
Own end-to-end development of multi-agent AI systems, from architecture and implementation through testing, deployment, and ongoing operation
Build modular, composable agentic systems using orchestration frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Anthropic MCP, or similar) that operate 24/7 across teams
Develop reusable agentic skills that agents invoke across interfaces (Slack, dashboards, internal apps, CLIs)
Implement observability and feedback loops including logging, performance metrics, prompt iteration, model evaluation, and cost management
Establish governance and compliance standards for AI workflows including access controls, audit trails, PII handling, and human-in-the-loop escalation paths
Systems Integration & Backend Services
Build MCP servers, APIs, CLIs, and microservices connecting AI models to business systems (BigQuery, Slack, CRMs, email, calendars, analytics tools)
Architect data flows for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), connecting LLMs to internal knowledge bases, customer data, and real-time business context
Build serverless or containerized services (GCP Cloud Functions, Cloud Run) that scale with usage and integrate with Grafana's cloud infrastructure
Automation & Workflow Enablement
Partner with RevOps, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, and SDR teams to scope high-impact automation problems, identify bottlenecks, and build solutions with measurable business outcomes
Design and deploy workflows using orchestration tools (n8n, Workato, or custom platforms) with CI/CD, testing, and production reliability standards
Build systems designed for self-service with documentation, playbooks, and enablement materials that let partner teams operate independently
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You'll have access to AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex, and others of your choice within security guidelines). We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development paired with strong code review and quality standards.
What Makes You a Great Fit
8+ years of software engineering experience with depth in backend development, systems integration, or data/analytics engineering
2+ years hands-on experience applying LLMs/AI to production workflows, not just prototypes
Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/Node.js with Git-based workflows, code review practices, and testing discipline
Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks and patterns including prompt engineering, RAG, function calling/tool use, structured output parsing, and evaluation
Experience building and operating multi-agent systems at scale including agent decomposition, orchestration patterns (sequential chains, router/dispatcher, parallel fan-out), state management, and production monitoring
You diagnose business problems before writing code. You think in workflows and outcomes, not just functions.
Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and serverless/containerized services (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run)
Understanding of LLM failure modes and production mitigations including confidence thresholds, fallback logic, human escalation, and cost/latency management
Proven ability to identify high-leverage problems, push back on low-impact requests, and deliver end-to-end with minimal direction
Fluent with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code). You use AI to build AI systems
Clear technical communicator who can explain complex systems in simple terms to both engineers and business stakeholders
Bonus Points
Experience with vector databases or retrieval pipelines (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Qdrant, pgvector)
Familiarity with marketing or sales platforms (Salesforce, Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketo, Outreach)
Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Slack Block Kit) for building user-facing AI tool interfaces
Observability tooling for AI systems (LangSmith, Weights & Biases, custom evaluation frameworks)
Experience with workflow orchestration platforms (n8n, Temporal, Prefect, Airflow)
Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar standards for connecting AI systems to data sources
Prior work automating marketing, sales, or customer success workflows in a B2B SaaS environment
Active in open-source communities. Grafana is built on OSS and we value engineers who share that DNA
In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is USD
