As Senior Staff Product Manager, Device Security, you’ll define the strategy and roadmap for the device security capabilities that help organizations understand, control, and govern access across their environments. You’ll work at the intersection of device health, identity, access management, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), helping customers reduce security risk while building a more unified experience across people, machines, and AI agents.

How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
Required qualifications
• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoint, or access-control products.
• A track record of defining and delivering roadmaps for complex, cross-functional initiatives in a Business-to-Business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
• Experience contributing to product vision and strategy across multiple engineering teams or product areas.
• Strong written communication skills, with experience creating PRDs, PR/FAQs, and other artifacts that align teams and support decision-making.
• Experience defining Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), success metrics, and measurement frameworks connected to business outcomes.
• The ability to communicate complex security and product concepts clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior customer stakeholders.
• A customer-centered approach to prioritization that combines qualitative insight with quantitative data.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with endpoint security, device management, zero-trust, least-privilege architectures, or related security technologies.
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
• Experience working with enterprise administration consoles and IT buyer or administrator personas.
• Experience taking AI or machine-learning products from concept to initial launch.
• Experience prototyping with AI-enabled developer tools and curiosity about how AI agents operate.
• Familiarity with device compliance frameworks, endpoint telemetry platforms, or related security systems.
What you can expect:
Own and evolve the Device Security product roadmap, partnering with engineering leadership to define priorities and deliver key capabilities.
• Shape the role of Device Security within 1Password Unified Access and contribute to cross-company product strategy.
• Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly prioritization, balancing near-term delivery with an 18–24 month product vision.
• Represent the customer perspective through discovery, feedback loops, recorded and live demos, and structured product artifacts such as Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and Product Requirements/FAQs (PR/FAQs).
• Collaborate with Product Managers (PMs) across adjacent product areas, as well as Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Product Marketing.
• Establish success metrics that connect customer outcomes and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) contribution to product progress.
• Engage directly with enterprise customers, including Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Vice Presidents of Security, and Information Technology (IT) leaders.
• Prototype proof-of-value solutions using AI-enabled developer tools to explore and communicate product ideas.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Localization Project Manager — Japan Training Quality to support localization for Customer Education, helping ensure Notion training content feels accurate, clear, culturally relevant, and ready to use for learners across the globe.
You’ll work at the intersection of localization quality, training implementation, and program management, collaborating with Localization, Partner Enablement, Customer Education, vendors, and language specialists. You’ll help turn translation feedback, learner experience issues, and regional quality needs into practical improvements across training content, quizzes, LMS setup, and repeatable localization workflows.
The ideal candidate combines native-level Japanese language expertise with a deep understanding of what effective education looks like in the Japanese market.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Own and apply Japanese localization QA standards across training content, including checking for accuracy, clarity, tone, terminology, and cultural nuance
- Support development of glossaries, style guides, QA checklists, review processes, and localization assets
- Become a go-to partner for translation questions related to Notion-specific concepts, product terminology, and training context
- Support QA of technical implementation in eLearning authoring tools and LMS environments (course files, quizzes, answer selections)
- Coordinate across Customer Education, Partner Enablement, Localization, and vendors to align on priorities, timelines, translation progress, and quality expectations
- Identify workflow risks and recommend improvements that improve translation quality and reduce time-to-launch
- Document repeatable processes that make training and help center localization easier to manage over time
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- Strong understanding of localization workflows, including vendor collaboration, review cycles, glossaries, style guides, QA rubrics, and linguistic QA
- Experience with Japanese localization QA, ideally for SaaS, technical training, customer education, or partner enablement content
- Ability to review translated content for quality, clarity, terminology accuracy, cultural nuance, and learner comprehension
- Familiarity with eLearning or LMS tools; experience with platforms like Skilljar or Parta authoring tools is a plus
- Comfort working with technical or product-specific terminology that may not translate directly
- Strong attention to detail, especially in learner-facing content, quizzes, course setup, formatting, and implementation QA
- Strong project management skills and ability to bring structure into ambiguous areas
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
We want all of our learners should feel like Notion training content was made for them — not simply translated for them. High-quality localization has a direct impact on learner trust, comprehension, launch readiness, and regional enablement outcomes.
This role will help Customer Education and Partner Enablement move faster while raising the quality bar: reducing rework, catching issues before launch, improving vendor feedback loops, and creating a clearer, more repeatable operating model for training localization
This is a 6-month, part-time role with option to extend. Preferred location is Tokyo, but we're open to remote applicants with strong Japanese market expertise and timezone overlap with Japan and Notion's International Experience team.
Availability: 20 hours/week

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Notion is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let your recruiter know.

Treat the data pipeline as a single product: drive coherence across ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption so that every downstream experience (analytics, experimentation, insights, integrations) is built on a reliable, well-modeled foundation.
Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
Monitor industry trends and competitor products to stay ahead of the curve.
Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and pain points are addressed in all product decisions.
Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams including sales, customer success, and support to define Go-To-Market plans and strategy for data products and features.
Mentor and uplevel other product managers, and raise the bar for data-informed product practice across the organization.
About you
Curious:
More than anything, you love learning and are able to build opinions and expertise quickly across many domains.
Purpose-driven:
The how behind all your projects is driven by a clear definition of why we're solving the problem.
Agent-first:
You’re obsessive about pushing agents to their limits and often eschew UIs in favor of agent-first interactions.
Customer-centric:
You are driven to understand customer challenges and needs, crafting solutions that provide real value.
Product sense:
You love great software and can't stand bad software. You have a strong focus on craft, quality, and the ability to deeply empathize with the end user to deliver delightful experiences.
Systems thinker:
You see how the pieces connect. You're as comfortable reasoning about an ingestion pipeline's throughput as you are about the dashboard a customer sees, and you understand how decisions at one layer ripple through the others.
Collaborative:
You excel at working with diverse teams, seamlessly bridging customer stakeholders, ecosystem partners, and product development teams.
Effective communicator:
You build strong relationships and communicate with clarity and precision. You're an incredible writer who can concisely explain complex ideas in simple ways to a wide variety of audiences.
Adaptable:
You thrive in fast-paced environments and can effectively prioritize in order to manage multiple projects at once.
High agency:
You are motivated to achieve success and have a strong sense of ownership to deliver great outcomes across a broad range of responsibilities. Even if it's not your responsibility, if you see something that needs to be done, you make sure it happens.
Business acumen:
You understand how technical solutions tie to business objectives and can align projects to meet customer and company goals.
Qualifications
8+ years of product experience, especially with data platforms, data infrastructure, analytics, or developer tools.
Alternatively, 8+ years of engineering experience in data-intensive systems with a strong product mindset and a desire to transition into a product management role.
We will consider candidates with fewer years of experience who demonstrate exceptional potential and excitement to get into the space, or who bring significant hands-on experience with AI-powered data analysis.
Proven track record of successfully bringing data products to market and driving strategy across multiple teams or a platform-scale product area.
Strong understanding of modern data architectures: event/streaming pipelines, data warehousing and lakehouse patterns, data modeling, and the trade-offs of processing data at scale.
Experience with both platform products (where the customer is internal teams or developers) and end-user-facing data products (analytics, observability, insights, experimentation), and an understanding of how the two must work together.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

About LaunchDarkly:
Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise. Slow, inefficient development cycles, costly outages, and fragmented customer experiences are preventing developers from building their best software. The LaunchDarkly platform helps developers innovate on new features faster while protecting them with a safety valve to instantly rewind when things go wrong. Developers can target product experiences to any customer segment and maximize the business impact of every feature. And by gradually rolling out new application components, they escape nightmare "big-bang" technology migrations.
The LaunchDarkly platform was built to guide engineers to the next frontier of DevOps by:
Improving the velocity and stability of software releases, without the fear of end customer outages
Delivering targeted experiences by easily personalizing features to customer cohorts
Maximizing the business impact of every feature through the ability to experiment and optimize
Coordinating the release and optimization of software to provide consistent experiences across mobile platforms and device types
Improving the effectiveness and productivity of engineering teams, by providing insights into engineering cadence and stability

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform — the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
You'll own the design and delivery of features end to end, working across high-throughput APIs and data models to make them faster, more reliable, and more capable. You'll write and review designs, raise the quality bar in code review, use the latest AI tools, and collaborate closely with product and QE to deliver work that scales.
Technologies You’ll Use
Python, Rust, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You’ll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Metadata team's services — discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a staff software engineer to be a technical leader on our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform — the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
As a
Staff Software Engineer
, you'll contribute to the technical direction for the team. You'll own the architecture of major subsystems, lead complex projects that span multiple engineers, and raise the bar for design and code quality across the team. You'll spend your time on the hardest technical problems, and multiply the team through design reviews, coaching, and mentorship.
Technologies You'll Use
Python, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Lead the design and delivery of complex, team-level projects across the Metadata services, coordinating development across multiple engineers
Independently design and develop the architecture of new subsystems, and own team-level subsystems end to end
Use AI tooling and agents — across development and SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Review and approve technical designs, ensuring they meet a high quality bar, and identify design deficiencies before they ship
Drive technical initiatives across the team's responsibility areas — discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history
Set and uphold design, architecture, and coding best practices, and hold teammates accountable for code quality
Coach and mentor engineers, demonstrably improving the quality of code across the team
Write technical specs, document common components, and keep the team accountable for necessary project documentation
Fix and optimize critical parts of the codebase, drive incident follow-through, and advance the reliability and performance of the services you own
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation
Skills We're Looking For
8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading complex, team-scope technical work to completion
Deep expertise designing and owning subsystems in distributed, cloud-based systems
Demonstrated ability to set technical direction for a team and drive multi-engineer initiatives across an area of ownership
Excellent design and architecture judgment; identifies design flaws in existing systems and proposes sound solutions with clear trade-offs
Writes exemplary, well-tested code that serves as a model for others, and reliably estimates and delivers sprint to sprint
Strong track record of raising quality through code review, coaching peers, and enforcing accepted engineering practices
Experience partnering with QE on test strategy and owning operational health — incidents, post-mortems, reliability, and performance
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and managing dev infrastructure
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts — and able to model those practices for a team
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience architecting metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We're looking for an engineering manager to lead our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform: the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
You'll own technical excellence and delivery of a single team, from evolving high-throughput APIs and data models, to hardening reliability and latency for enterprise and single-tenant customers, to shipping new discovery and catalog capabilities in close partnership with product. You'll set direction, review designs and code, remove roadblocks, and grow the engineers on your team through coaching, feedback, and clear career development.
What You'll Do
Lead and grow a team of software engineers, owning hiring, onboarding, coaching, career development plans, and regular 1:1s and check-ins
Own project delivery for your team against the quarterly plan, and be accountable for the reliability and performance of the services you own (e.g. uptime and latency targets)
Review technical designs and code, and provide feedback grounded in a deep understanding of the Metadata product area and architecture
Drive the team to address technical quality — incidents, bugs, tech debt, and post-mortems — within SLA and metric targets
Partner with product and business stakeholders on planning, and maintain a realistic, prioritized feature and project backlog with a high completion rate
Contextualize and communicate the engineering vision and strategy to your team, and share the team's work and business impact with adjacent teams
Ensure engineering processes (e.g. FDLC) are implemented and consistently followed
Delegate effectively and build autonomy and a positive, high-trust culture within the team
Address performance issues and conflict promptly and fairly
Ensure your team uses AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
Experience managing and growing a software engineering team(ideally a customer-facing product development team); including hiring, coaching, and running a full performance and career-development cycle
Strong technical foundation with the ability to review designs and code and make sound architectural trade-offs in a distributed, cloud-based systems environment
Track record of delivering complex projects on schedule while holding the team to high standards of quality, reliability, and performance
Experience owning production services and driving operational health — incident response, on-call practices, tech-debt reduction, and meeting SLAs
Ability to plan and prioritize with product partners, maintain a realistic backlog, and drive high sprint and quarterly completion rates
Communicates clearly and effectively across the team and with adjacent teams and stakeholders; keeps people well informed
Fluent in using AI code assistants, coding agents, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to support the software development lifecycle, and able to establish those practices across a team
Bonus Skills
Experience building or operating metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem
Experience supporting enterprise or single-tenant customers with strict reliability and latency requirements

About the Job:
Software powers the world, and LaunchDarkly empowers teams to deliver and control it safely. As a
Senior Backend Engineer
on the
Billing
team, you will own the systems that turn every plan, price, entitlement, and usage limit into revenue — checkout, subscription and entitlement APIs, usage metering, and the integrations to our billing, CRM, and finance systems. When billing is wrong, customers get the wrong product and we invoice the wrong amount. Correctness here is a commitment to our customers, not a nice-to-have.
You and your team will drive the modernization of our billing platform. Technologies include Go, TypeScript, Postgres, AWS, and Terraform. Exact tool match matters far less than deep backend judgment and a track record of safely changing systems that are not allowed to be wrong.
Responsibilities:
Design and build the systems that define our plans, pricing, entitlements, and limits, and expose them through our API.
Decompose billing from our monolith into services that are correct, testable, and independently deployable.
Own correctness end to end — usage metering, reconciliation, and the invoices and usage data customers see.
Operate what you build: SLOs, alerting, on-call, and fixing root causes rather than repeating mitigations.
Qualifications:
6+ years of professional software-engineering experience, with significant work on complex backend applications.
Experience decomposing a monolith
A track record on systems where correctness is non-negotiable, and the habits that come with it: idempotency, reconciliation, reversible migrations, and safe cutovers.
Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Rust, Python, etc.) and familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent), plus strong production ownership including on-call.
Bonus
Billing, payments, or metering systems, or usage-based pricing.
Modeling entitlements, quotas, or multi-tenant limits.
Pay:
Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 4:
Zone 1:
San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
As a member of Ramp's Risk Strategy & Operations team, you will leverage data to develop and optimize credit strategies.
Credit is one of Ramp's most consequential products. Every policy change affects how customers can grow their usage, and how responsibly Ramp scales up while managing risk. Credit Risk Strategy owns these tradeoffs end to end.
In this role, you will own or help build strategy across credit risk areas like credit limits, payment speed, and collections. You'll take ambiguous problems, get to the data, prototype the solution, and push the change with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Risk Operations, Finance, Customer Experience, and Compliance.
AI fluency is required. We use AI as a core pillar of our risk management stack, and you will be prototyping and managing related Agents and tools. You should already be using tools like Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI tools to write code, explore data, prototype apps, automate workflows, and check your own work. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you do need to use AI to ship something runnable or inspectable enough to test, improve, and hand off.
We are looking for builders with high agency and high urgency: people who prototype the workflow, not just write the recommendation for someone else to build.
What You'll Do
- Own credit risk strategy for areas like model prototyping, credit limits, payment speed, collections, etc.
- Use SQL, quantitative reasoning, and credit risk judgment to investigate patterns, size opportunities, define policy changes, and pressure-test recommendations.
- Build the first useful version when the workflow does not exist: a tool, app, dashboard, agent, notebook, QA loop, monitor, or decisioning process.
- Use AI tools every day to move faster on research, analysis, coding, synthesis, writing, verification, and follow-through.
- Build AI into credit risk workflows: feature exploration, policy monitoring, case review, exception handling, decision support, documentation, and human-in-the-loop QA.
- Investigate new data sources and model features; evaluate signal quality, coverage, failure modes, and how they would change credit decisions.
- Make ambiguous credit risk decisions within your surface area, balancing loss, customer experience, operational burden, growth, compliance, and risk-adjusted returns.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, to execute and build the risk management infrastructure
What You Need
- Minimum 2 years of experience in credit risk management or quantitative strategy role
- Minimum 2 years of experience using SQL or Python for data retrieval and manipulations
- AI fluency you can demonstrate live: name the tools, show an artifact, explain a recent failure mode, and walk through how you verified the output before using it in a credit risk decision.
- Ownership in ambiguity: you define the question, get the data, make the call, communicate the tradeoffs, and drive follow-through without waiting for perfectly scoped work.
- Strong communication: you can compress a complex credit risk decision into a clear narrative that leadership and cross-functional partners can act on.
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous experience building credit risk in similar Card or expense management products
- Previous experience in high-growth startups or environments where the operating model changed quickly.
- Previous experience with Operations teams
Compensation
We are open to hiring at multiple levels for this role (Analyst, Associate, or Senior Associate). Level is determined during the interview process.
The expected base salary ranges are:
- Analyst: $108,000 to $148,000
- Associate: $140,000 to $192,000
- Senior Associate: $160,000 to $200,000
These ranges reflect base salary for New York City and do not include equity or benefits, both of which this role is eligible for.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
The Docker Sandboxes team is building the runtime that lets AI coding agents run safely on a developer's machine: disposable, isolated microVM sandboxes that each get their own Docker daemon, filesystem, and network.
This is the core of Docker's sbx product: developers can give an agent the autonomy it needs to get real work done without it ever touching the host, and tear the whole environment down when it's finished.
The successful candidate is a technical, product-minded engineer with deep experience building secure, isolated runtime environments (sandboxes, containers, or VMs) and a track record of shipping and owning that kind of infrastructure in production at scale. They think naturally about isolation and security boundaries, understand the tradeoffs involved in running untrusted or semi-trusted workloads safely, and can reason confidently about a system that spans multiple surface areas.
They can drive clarity and consensus on hard, ambiguous problems that cross team and component boundaries, raise the bar for engineering quality wherever they work, thrive in a remote-first environment, communicate clearly across time zones, work with our users, while bringing curiosity and craftsmanship to hard problems.
Please note: this role is currently prioritizing candidates currently located in the Eastern time zone (US or Canada), or in the EU.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and lead improvements to the sandboxes product across agent integration, tool permissions, and developer-facing workflows.
- Investigate and resolve correctness, performance, and stability issues in the agent integration layer across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Drive the reliability and performance of sandbox creation, session management, and teardown for AI agent workloads.
- Collaborate with peers, Product, and adjacent teams to evolve the architecture as requirements grow.
- Mentor engineers on the team and set the bar in design reviews and code reviews.
- Engage with the open source and agentic development community around sandboxing, MCP, and related ecosystems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical stability issues affecting users.
- Document your work clearly and share knowledge with the rest of the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated technical leadership on production systems at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building developer tools, desktop applications, or runtime infrastructure used directly by developers.
- Familiarity with the agentic software development ecosystem: how coding agents work and how tools like Claude Code, Codex, or similar agents interact with their environment.
- Ability to reason about isolation and security boundaries: what a sandbox should and shouldn't expose, and how to make safe defaults obvious to users.
- Experience driving architecture and technical strategy across multiple engineers or teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a remote-first environment.
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
- Build an understanding of our codebase.
- Meet the people on your team and those adjacent to it.
- Build an understanding of the products we are shipping and our near-term technical priorities.
- Deliver small fixes or improvements.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Lead the design and development of a significant improvement or feature of the local sandboxes stack.
- Engage with our open source project and the relevant upstream communities.
- Shape the team's technical direction, and drive architecture discussions.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK (FIRST YEAR)
- Deliver measurable improvements to the correctness and performance of sandboxes.
- Become a recognized technical owner of key parts of the codebase and a go-to technical leader for the local runtime.
- Help us define the longer-term technical strategy for the filesystem layer in a way that fits with Product and Business goals, and rally the team behind it.
Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.
