ABOUT US
Since 2013, we’ve been building a CRM that gets out of your way and helps your team sell more, faster. Now we’re building AI into every part of it, so Close does the busywork and your team does the selling. No manual data entry, no 10-click workflows. Just communication-first, AI-powered sales software designed to help you succeed and scale.
We're bootstrapped and profitable which means we answer to our customers and play by our rules. We're proud of our 130-person, 100% remote team, focused on building Close so that no small, scaling business fails because it can't figure out sales.
ABOUT THE ROLE
One of our values is “Build a house you want to live in.” In this metaphor, Close.com http://Close.com is the front door. Our website is where people learn about who we are, what we do and, even more importantly, it’s a critical touch point on their journey to becoming a Close customer. We’re dedicated to making it best-in-class. We’ve recently migrated from Webflow to our own codebase (Astro, Sanity, Vercel) so a new and improved foundation is in place. We believe building in-house gives us the flexibility, creativity, and speed to make our website a competitive advantage - this is where our first Sr. Frontend Engineer - Marketing comes in. As the technical owner of the website, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and instrumenting Close.com http://Close.com. You’ll work closely with Marketing, including a Marketing Designer, but report up through Engineering.
YOU ARE
- A marketing website engineer. You’ve built beautiful, conversion-focused websites for a while now - probably 5+ years. You may have worked in an agency, but you’ve also had to build, own, and collaborate on websites long-term - seeing your work through impact and likely many iterations. Motion, ambitious CSS, and rich media are second nature, and you sweat page speed and how the site reads to both search engines and AI agents as much as how cool it looks. A modern stack like Astro paired with a headless CMS (Sanity is ours) is familiar territory to you.
- Fluent in measurement. The sites you build aren’t only beautiful, but they’re well-measured too. You understand cookies, conversion events, analytics, and experimentation tooling, and you've worked with tools like Segment, Amplitude, or Customer.io http://Customer.io.
- Focused on conversion and fueled by impact. We’re primarily a self-service SMB business and that means that Close.com http://Close.com isn’t just a brand experience. It’s a critical part of our acquisition funnel. This means that your work will have a direct effect on some of our most important business metrics - traffic, conversion, revenue. You’re the type who finds this motivating and is eager to partner with Marketing and Growth to move these numbers.
- Energized by empowering non-technical team members. You’ve built systems that allow Marketers or Designers to self-serve and solve problems quickly and independently. You’re comfortable thinking through guardrails, automations, and tooling.
- Already building with AI. You use AI to move faster and empower your team but are equally discerning about which moments require craftsmanship and taste.
- Resourceful and collaborative. You’ll bridge two teams (Marketing and Engineering) and will need to easily work with folks across departments and levels. No tweak or task is too small (or too big) for you to tackle.
YOU WILL
- Build and continuously improve a world-class marketing website. We want close.com http://close.com to be responsive, highly interactive, and polished. The kind of site that brings the product to life through animation and interactivity. You'll ship new pages and continue raising the bar on core site functionality.
- Make the site fast and findable. You’ll own performance, technical SEO, and how the site shows up to search engines and AI agents.
- Manage the infrastructure behind the site. The platform (Sanity), components, integrations, and deployment are for you to maintain and evolve.
- Own the technical integrity of site measurement and partner on experiments. Make sure tracking, attribution, conversion events, and funnel data are implemented correctly and reliably flow into our marketing and data systems.
- Build tools that let Marketing self-serve...and help the site self-improve. You’ll build automations and flows to help the team ship pages, campaigns, and experiments, but you’ll also help the website be a partner in its own development - be it catching regressions or flagging performance problems and SEO issues. The website of the future is a surface for collaboration between you, the marketing team, and AI agents.
- Stretch beyond the site and act as an engineering resource to marketing. The website is your focus, but there’s a lot of work to be done! You’ll be a resource for solving tricky problems, across the website and in other areas of marketing - sometimes that means hopping in yourself, or just knowing when to loop in the right person.
BENEFITS
- Compensation: Competitive pay plus an organization-wide goal-based bonus
- Paid Time Off: ~5 weeks of PTO to start. Plus a 1-week all-company Winter Holiday Break and paid US holidays. You'll earn 2 extra days for every year you're with Close.
- 80% Work Option: Work with your manager to choose between a standard 5-day week or a 4-day week at 80% pay
- Parental Leave: Paid leave for primary and secondary caregivers
- Sabbatical: A 1-month paid sabbatical every 5 years with the team

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
In this role, you will have ownership of the full sales cycle - from identifying leads to closing deals with Global 2000, large enterprises within Eastern Canada. We’re looking for an approachable and compelling communicator who loves working with prospects to uncover their needs and feels comfortable developing tailored value propositions around how Cohere’s platform can help them achieve their business goals. You’ll lay the foundation for Cohere’s growth by owning your territory and collaborating with teammates across customer success, sales development, marketing, and solution architecture. You’ll be the voice of the field and help our product and engineering teams prioritize the Cohere roadmap with customer-centric care. It’s a highly self-directed role, so you should be someone who thrives in an unstructured and quickly evolving environment. And your opportunity for impact will be astronomical — Cohere has skies-the-limit potential, and you’ll help us reach it.
As an Account Executive you will:
- Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound activity and relationship building with key stakeholders while also bringing a strong network of key decision-maker and influencer contacts to drive strategic partnerships and win sales opportunities
- Work closely with customers and prospects as a consultative, trusted advisor who deeply understands their challenges and goals, their technology ecosystem, and will tailor solutions to drive measurable impact for their businesses
- Work in close partnership with channel partners to find opportunities to scale outreach and customer satisfaction in your region
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams as well as customer success on strategic motions to deliver solutions to large enterprise customers
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity
- Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach through proof-of-concept, deal close, and deployment ; this is not a transactional sale that you can walk away from after the contract is signed but rather requires ongoing oversight of the project to ensure success
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 8-12+ years of previous B2B sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprises negotiating and closing transformational multi-year (2-5 year) SaaS deals in the 7 figure range, and a track record of high performance and exceeding quota
- Previous experience as a technical consultative salesperson, selling complex products, such as developer tools, API products, or AI / NLP solutions, are a plus.
- Previous experience working with customers during the deployment phase of the engagement, aligning on how best to configure and customize the solution that supports success in production and builds trust to set up for expansion and growth
- Previous experience working with channel partners such as cloud hyperscalers and system integrators to drive sales cycles and hit shared revenue goals
- High tolerance for ambiguity - as an early sales hire, you’ll have to be a self-starter, doer and a strategist who is capable of wearing many hats and doing what it takes to figure out a path to success
- Curiosity - you want to go deep on NLP and become an expert on our technology while considering how to fit into a large organization’s technology landscape
- Fantastic communication skills - you are a great listener, have a knack for understanding what matters most to others, build strong relationships, can speak to the c-suite, and feel comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical audiences
Additional Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the enterprise landscape, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Ability to articulate the value of AI and NLP solutions in the context of Fortune 2000 operations.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.
- 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent.
- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
We strive to create an inclusive work environment for all; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12a6IrLdF3kI2nonKSr4tiFuz18rLQbaeYV-JM9L4o9Q/edit, and we will work together to meet your needs.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Inference business works differently from a typical software business. What we can sell is capped by GPU fleet capacity, and what we earn depends on the blended cost of the GPUs serving each workload. Both can change week to week.
This role sits between the people who run the fleet and the people who sell it. You will be the person who can answer, at any point in the quarter, three questions with real numbers behind them:
1. What do we have to sell?
2. What should we sell it for?
3. What do we make when we do?
You will own the commercial data, models, processes, and operating cadence behind these decisions, partnering closely with the Head of Digital Native Sales and serving as the commercial operating lead across Sales, Data Science, Inference Infrastructure, Finance, and Product.
This is a build role. Little of the commercial infrastructure you need exists today.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Capacity and demand
- Build and own an end-to-end inference demand forecast combining pipeline, contracted commitments, and consumption trends into a forward-looking view of expected demand.
- Combine capacity signals with pipeline demand to show what is available to sell and surface shortages, unused capacity, and supply-demand mismatches.
- Translate customer requirements into structured inputs that Data Science and Inference Infrastructure can use to assess workload impact and feasibility, and help prioritize opportunities by revenue, margin, fit, timing, and strategic value.
Pricing and margin
- Publish regular updates to GTM and Finance on available supply and recommended price, informed by market rates for provisioned throughput and per-token pricing.
- Partner with Finance and Pricing to build rate cards, target prices, price floors, and discount guardrails GTM can act on.
- Build and own margin sensitivity models showing how workload, utilization, contract structure, and discounting affect deal and portfolio economics.
Data infrastructure and GTM telemetry
- Build the commercial telemetry for Inference: usage, consumption patterns, expansion, churn signals, and other leading indicators of revenue.
- Connect capacity and usage data with pipeline, contracts, pricing, and revenue, and build self-serve reporting that helps GTM, Finance, and leadership make capacity, pricing, and prioritization decisions.
- Partner with Finance on long-range planning for Inference, connecting demand forecasts to capacity and capex planning.
Core revenue operations
- Own territory design, ICP definition, data-driven targeting, pipeline management, forecasting, and compensation plan design for the Inference and Digital Native segment.
- Track competitive dynamics across inference providers and adjacent players, turning them into pricing and positioning input.
Cross-functional leadership
- Drive alignment across Sales, Data Science, Inference Infrastructure, Finance, and Product on demand, capacity, pricing, and economics.
- Ensure customer demand reaches technical teams early enough to inform capacity decisions, and build a structured feedback loop from requests, adoption patterns, blocked deals, and losses into Product and Engineering.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Required skills and competencies
- Experience in revenue operations, business operations, strategic finance, or investment banking in a business where cost of goods is real and variable — cloud infrastructure, compute, telco, logistics, or similar. Pure SaaS RevOps is not a fit on its own.
- Strong SQL and comfort building your own data models: raw tables to dashboard, without waiting on a data team.
- Demonstrated ability to build unit economics and margin models that other functions trust and use.
- Enough technical fluency to hold a real conversation with infrastructure engineers about GPUs, utilization, serving efficiency, and capacity — or clear evidence you can get there fast.
- Comfort operating with incomplete data, with a bias toward shipping a rough answer this week over a perfect one next quarter.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to influence technical and commercial teams without direct authority.
Ideal additional skills and competencies
- Familiarity with the inference market: provisioned throughput, per-token pricing, batch vs. real-time serving, and how the major providers price.
- Experience with consumption- or usage-based revenue models.
- Salesforce, BigQuery, and BI tooling (we use Metabase).
- Having sat between a technical team and a commercial team before, trusted by both sides.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
For the most up-to-date details on benefits available in your location, please refer to our Benefits page https://app.notion.com/p/mistralai/Benefits-at-Mistral-36e6ba59a7fe836b93dd01737fcc27ef?source=copy_link.

Hi, I'm Paul, VP of Engineering at
Customer.io
. We're looking for a staff product engineer — not a generalist who happens to touch frontend and backend, but someone who thinks like a product owner and ships like an engineer.
About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive.
We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data. Under the hood: Go, React, and AI help us ship fast and scale with confidence.
What We Value
End-to-end ownership
You take on the problems nobody's claimed — the ones that span squads with no obvious owner — and carry them from a fuzzy first conversation to what's actually live. If it touches the customer, it's yours to chase down.
Comfort in ambiguity
Half-formed problems and conflicting signals are your starting material, not a blocker. You define the problem before you solve it, form a point of view on what's worth building, and move without waiting for someone else to de-risk the call.
Customer-first, always
You think from the customer's problem backward, not the codebase forward. Every technical call traces back to what it does for the person on the other end of the message — and you can explain that connection to people who don't write code. Given the choice, you ship the thing that changes their experience, not the thing that's merely elegant.
A healthy skepticism for "the way things are done"
You retire practices that have outlived their usefulness, including ones you helped build. Best practices matter — but never more than forward motion.
Force multiplication
Shipping your part isn't the bar. You bring in the right people before a problem becomes theirs to clean up, and you leave enough behind — docs, patterns, delegation — that the team keeps moving without you in the room.
What You'll Do
Own important, ambiguous problems from initial framing through launch and iteration. Set direction, align partners, and stay accountable for the result.
Partner with product, design, and data to shape priorities, scope the work, and define how success will be measured.
Lead technical decisions across the stack, including architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Lead work across teams and systems. Build alignment, resolve technical disagreements, and keep complex initiatives moving.
Improve engineering practices through mentorship, reusable patterns, and clear technical guidance.
Use AI throughout your engineering work, with sound judgment about where it helps, where it falls short, and how its output should be reviewed. Help the team improve by testing new workflows, sharing what works, and identifying useful opportunities for automation.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the systems the team builds.
What we're looking for
A track record of leading complex work across teams or systems and delivering meaningful customer, business, or engineering outcomes.
Strong backend engineering experience, with the ability to work across the stack and lead end-to-end technical decisions.
Strong product and technical judgment, especially when the problem or path forward is unclear.
The ability to influence experienced peers and align teams without formal authority.
Experience using metrics, experimentation, and observability to guide decisions and improve production systems.
Regular, hands-on use of AI across the software development lifecycle, with the judgment to adapt as tools change while remaining accountable for quality, security, and outcomes. Experience improving how a broader team uses AI is a strong plus.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $200,000 - $280,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. This role also carries a 10% annual bonus target. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we're committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family. We also offer 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

Our Process
No gotchas, no trick questions - just a clear, human process designed to help both of us make an informed decision.
Application
- We review everyone with care. Tell us why you're interested.
Recruiter Call (30 mins)
- Let's chat about what you're looking for and how we work.
Hiring Manager Interview (60 mins)
- Talk with one of our hiring managers about your working style and a product you've owned end-to-end, plus a short AI-assisted coding exercise.
System Design Interview (60 mins)
- A collaborative conversation that moves between product tradeoffs and system design — how you'd scope something ambiguous and how you'd build it.
Take-Home Assignment
- Complete a short, realistic task similar to what you'd work on here.
Assignment Review Call (60 mins)
- Walk us through your work and discuss tradeoffs, priorities, and how you'd iterate.
All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verifications as part of our pre-employment process.
Customer.io
recognizes the stifling impact of systemic injustice on diverse communities. We commit to using our influence to increase inclusion and equity within the tech industry. We strive to build an inclusive team culture, implement bias-free hiring practices, and develop community partnerships to expand our global impact.
Zoom is the only video conference platform that we use, virtual interviews will be conducted using the video capability (i.e., not via the chat), and offers will be extended in writing on official
Customer.io
letterhead. Please be vigilant in all of your job search activity, and if you have any questions please contact

Video is one of the most powerful ways we bring the Figma brand to life, and we are building the function to match that ambition. As a Video Strategist, you will define what video does for this brand and build the operation that delivers it: the strategy, the franchises people come back for, the production model behind them, and eventually the team that runs it all. You will sit within Brand Marketing and partner closely with design, creative, comms, product marketing, community, and advocacy to turn complex product and customer stories into work people want to watch and share.
This is a rare combination. Figma is a beloved brand with a creative community that already wants to hear from us, and a video function that is still yours to build.
This is a full time role based in San Francisco or New York hub, or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Set the strategy: Define the role video plays across brand, social, editorial, product launch, community, and event moments. Own the format architecture and the prioritization framework that decides what we make and what we pass on
Build franchises: Create and run a portfolio of recurring video programs that compound audience over time, alongside the campaign and launch work. Own the development pipeline for new formats and the call to renew, evolve, or retire a series
Build the engine: Decide what we produce in-house, what goes to agencies and directors, and what we source from creators, with the economics behind each. Own the video budget and vendor relationships, and build the standards we are missing today around briefing, review, rights, and asset reuse
Lead the craft: Set and hold the quality bar for video made anywhere under the Figma brand. Write and approve briefs, run creative reviews, and enable cross-functional teams producing their own video with guardrails and coaching rather than gatekeeping
Measure what matters: Partner with our Brand Marketing Technologist to define what good looks like for each format and franchise, instrument it, and report it in a way that changes what we make next
Grow the team: Lead, hire, and develop the video team and the external bench, and make the case for the resourcing the strategy requires
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
10+ years across video, brand storytelling, editorial, content strategy, or production leadership, including several years leading a video function or team
A track record creating and running recurring video franchises that outlasted a single season and grew an audience
Experience owning a production model end to end: the in-house versus agency versus creator call, a real budget, and the partner relationships behind it
People leadership. You have hired, developed, and given hard feedback to producers, editors, or an external bench
Fluency across the format spectrum, from social-first short-form to long-form storytelling, launch films, and customer narratives, with clear opinions on what each format is good for
The ability to set a creative bar for work made by people who do not report to you, and to hold it without becoming the bottleneck
Comfort as the video voice in rooms with senior stakeholders, including the judgment to disagree productively and the measurement literacy to defend your decisions
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Hands-on editing or motion graphics ability. We are not hiring you to sit on a timeline, but craft fluency sharpens judgment and helps you move fast
Experience with live event and conference content at scale
Familiarity with music licensing, talent releases, and usage rights at volume
Experience building creator and influencer partnerships
Experience scaling video inside a company going through rapid growth or a brand evolution
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.
Figma offers equity to employees, as well as a competitive package of additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage; retirement benefits with company contributions; parental leave and reproductive or family planning support; mental health and wellness benefits; and paid time off. Figma provides paid sick leave, holidays, and other leave benefits in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the requirements of the Washington Minimum Wage Act and related regulations. Exempt employees are eligible for employer‑provided paid flexible PTO in addition to flexible paid sick leave. PTO is subject to manager approval. Additional benefits may include company recharge days, cell phone and home internet reimbursements, and a number of lifestyle spending accounts. You write high-quality, well-tested code and enjoy solving complex technical problems.
You communicate clearly, collaborate well across teams, and help a growing team converge on strong technical decisions.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.
For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. STAFF PLATFORM ENGINEER, AGENTIC ENGINEERING
Developer Productivity · AI Coding Agents · Developer Platform
Our ambition: an engineering organisation where humans and agents work as one continuously learning system, turning frontier AI capabilities and real-world feedback into more ambitious product development. We want n8n to be the reference for how this is done, without compromising quality, resilience or trust. Your main goal is to make that real.
This is a Staff individual contributor role in Developer Platform and the technical driving force behind ACDC (Agent-centric Development Cycle), our engineering-wide initiative for agentic development. Nobody has a playbook for this yet. You'll write ours.
You won't start from zero. Agents wired into Linear already automate around 80% of the development cycle on one of our developer platform projects, alongside pilots for insight, feature-flag and PR-review agents and a shared agent harness. Your job is to take this from promising experiments to the way n8n builds software.
This role is for someone who thinks about this problem constantly. You run agents all day, rebuild your own workflow every time the frontier moves, and have more ideas than time.
You'll stay hands-on, building the first versions yourself, and shape how the work grows beyond one person.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
SET DIRECTION AND OWN THE OUTCOME
- Identify where agentic development can make the greatest difference, using developer feedback, existing experiments and engineering performance data.
- Set the strategy and priorities across agent execution, repository readiness, CI, security and developer workflows.
- Make build, buy or pass decisions on tools and vendors, and own the cost and value trade-offs, including AI spend.
- Make decisions where requirements are incomplete and the trade-offs between autonomy, reliability, security and review effort are still emerging.
- Build alignment through technical proposals, clear decisions and working software, and report progress and impact to engineering leadership.
BUILD THE FOUNDATIONS
- Design and build isolated execution environments where agents can work with the right access to code, tools and context, without exposing secrets or sensitive systems.
- Own the safety model: which task categories agents may attempt, what they must never touch, and where human review is required, partnering with Security on sensitive areas like auth, billing, permissions and data handling.
- Make n8n's monorepo agent-ready, working with Architecture and senior engineers on repo structure, testability, boundaries and the context agents need.
INTEGRATE AGENTS INTO HOW WE WORK
- Build repeatable workflows that take Linear issues through agent execution, self-verification and review to merged PRs, across a growing range of task types.
- Integrate agentic workflows with GitHub, CI, test infrastructure and code review, so the agentic path becomes the easiest path for engineers.
- Extend the loop beyond coding: connect earlier signals like product research and customer requests, and later ones like production metrics, so agents contribute across the whole cycle.
- Open it up beyond engineering, so PMs, designers and others can turn a well-defined issue into a reviewed, mergeable change.
- Shape review practices, such as PR evidence that shows what changed, what ran, what risks remain and where human judgment is needed.
MEASURE WHAT WORKS
- Build benchmarks from real historical engineering tasks to evaluate output quality, failure modes, review burden and production risk.
- Define and track quality and adoption signals, such as reviewer acceptance rate, CI pass rate, rework rate and developer satisfaction.
- Use data and feedback to change course, retire what doesn't work, and build trust across engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🔥 Frontier obsession: You live at the frontier. You try new models and tools as they land, and you have strong, evidence-backed opinions on what's real and what's hype.
- 🧭 Staff-scope ownership: You’ve led complex platform, DevEx or engineering productivity initiatives across teams, from defining the problem to sustained adoption and measurable impact, where there was no established approach to follow.
- 🤖 Agentic depth: You use coding agents daily as a power user, and you've built infrastructure around them, such as repo context and instructions, tool or MCP integrations, sandboxed execution or agent workflows in CI, that other engineers rely on.
- 🎯 Product mindset for internal platforms: You treat engineers as your customers. You start from real friction, prioritise by impact, make build-vs-buy calls, weigh cost against value, and let adoption tell you whether something works.
- 🤝 Direction without authority: You've set technical direction that multiple teams followed, through proposals, design reviews and credibility with senior engineers across Platform, Product Engineering, AI, Security and Architecture.
- 🔐 Safety judgment: You've made real decisions on permissions, secrets, sandboxing, sensitive code paths and human-in-the-loop review, and can explain the trade-offs.
- 📊 Measurement that drives decisions: You've built evaluations, benchmarks or quality metrics and used them to change course or retire things that didn't work. You care about outcomes, not lines of AI-generated code.
- ✍️ Writing that changes decisions: Your technical proposals and documentation have shifted what teams did.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 📦 TypeScript monorepos: You have worked in a large TypeScript, Node.js or JavaScript monorepo.
- ⚙️ Developer platforms: You have experience with GitHub Actions, Linear, test infrastructure, preview environments or internal developer platforms.
- 🧑🤝🧑 Growing a team: You've mentored engineers or helped shape a new team as an initiative grew beyond one person.
- 🌍 Open-source communities: You have contributed to open-source or source-available projects with active developer communities.
- 🏢 B2B SaaS context: You understand environments where reliability, permissions, data handling and customer trust are central.
- 🔗 Workflow automation: You're familiar with workflow automation, integration platforms, AI orchestration or developer-facing products.
WHY JOIN US?
At n8n, you'll define how autonomous AI agents become a trusted part of engineering inside one of Europe's fastest-growing AI-native infrastructure companies. Your work will shape the platform foundations, safety model, evaluation framework and developer workflows that decide whether agents can contribute meaningfully to production engineering without lowering the quality bar.
You'll join a remote-first team with high autonomy, high visibility and a strong builder mindset. Because this is a first-of-its-kind role, you'll set direction, influence engineering culture, and create learnings that may inform both our internal engineering and n8n's product thinking.
Sound like a challenge you're excited to take on?
Apply now, and help us build the future of automation.
n8n is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
We can sponsor visas to Germany; for any other country, you need to have existing right to work.
Our company language is English.
You care about diversity and inclusion? We do too!
